Vampires, Humans, and Keyblade Masters

Roxas sat in the dark cage. He knew that he was going to be sold. But he was still a bit unsure how he even ended up here. The memories of the past few days were a bit blurry. When it was time for him to be sold, a large man came and unlocked the cage. He chained the blond's hands and feet together before leading him out to begin the bidding.

Axel walked through the night. Even though he was a master vampire now he still liked to do most of his shopping. Especially the kind he was doing tonight. He had sent one of his underlings last time to find him a nice new play toy but they had brought back a completely useless foul. He ran his hand through his hair. Maybe I'll try a red head this time.
He finally reached the building he sought. He walked inside to see the line up of slaves. All of the buyers turned to see him and stepped back leaving a clear space for him to walk through. He walked up to the stage and easily jumped up on it. Normally buyers were not allowed up there but no one tried to stop him after his first time here. He carefully looked through the slaves. Most looked used up. He came to a girl with bright blue hair. He tilted her face up but moved on when he saw that she looked like a drug user. At the end of the line he found a blond boy. He looked feisty. Axel smiled and pointed at the boy. One of the workers sprang forward and quickly unlocked the boy's hands. Axel bent over so their faces were level. "Your mine now boy. Name's Axel and I'm a master vampire so don't try anything. Got it memorized?" Without waiting he turned and jumped off the stage and started walking back out. The boy would follow since he had no choice. ((that's fine)) |
Roxas didn't like the way some of the people there were looking at him. It made him feel very uncomfortable. When a redheaded man stopped in front of him, he instantly didn't like the look at him.
A master vampire? As if. There were no such things as vampires, right? He was sure that there wasn't, at least. And did the man really think he was just going to go along with what he was told? That was against his nature. The man who unlocked him pushed him after the man who bought him. He stumbled a bit, but followed. There was no way he was staying there with all these crazy people. Who in their right minds would by somebody. That was against the law. At least, he was sure that it was. |
Axel kept walking till they were out of the building then a few blocks away. He turned to look at his newest slave and once again saw the rebellion sparkeling through his eyes. "Is there anything you need before we go back? And what is your name? I can't keep calling you boy. It would confuse the others." Axel watched for any sign that he would try to run.
Unlike many of his kind Axel learned the names of his servants. It was easier then trying to remember something else. And it made good policy to know incase something happened and one of them became a vampire. He had heard something like that happening to another master. He had played with one toy too long and woke one night with an extra vampire under him. Axel had heard it had been very awkward for the master to find he didn't even know the man's name. Axel looked the blond over thinking about a new outfit. He simply was not dressed to be seen by some of the vampires and humans Axel entertained. |
Roxas followed a few feet behind the redheaded man. He thought that his name was Axel. He stopped when the other stopped, still a few feet away. He didn't really want to be anywhere near him.
The blond shook his head to the first question. The only thing he needed was to be free, but he knew that it wasn't going to happen. Nobody bought somebody then set them free right away. "...My name is Roxas..." he told him after a while. He hated having to even speak to the man. He seriously wanted nothing to do with him. But he needed to find a way to get out of this enslavement. It was going to take a lot of thinking. |
Axel smiled at the blond showing his pointy fangs. He turned away and started walking. This is going to be fun. All of his other slaves had begged or asked for things. This one had pride and pride was so fun to break. He walked to a store and went inside. He smiled at the woman behind the counter. "Got a new one doll. Need the normal clothes." He pointed at his new slave and waited for the woman to bring the clothes. She bundled them up and handed them to Axel. He walked back outside and threw the bundle to Roxas. "Here carry this Roxas." He savored the name for a moment then turned and walked to his house. He walked past the guards and inside. A woman with long hair waited for them. She took care of the slaves. She was infact his oldest slave. She had lasted a full five years. "Go with Anna. I have business to attend to. When you are changed they will bring you to me." He walked off to another room and sat down in a thrown like chair. He really didn't have anything to do but look important. Vampires would bring there problems to him and he would make rulings. He thought about his new slave instead of paying attention.

Roxas was a bit surprised to see that Axel had pointy fangs. Though he just figured that his mind was playing tricks on him. There was no way that the redhead actually had fangs, right? He followed after him and looked at the woman behind the counter. But he didn't like being called a doll. He glared at the mad as he caught the bundle thrown at him. When they arrived at the house, the blond's eyes darted around the room before landing on the woman. He glared briefly at Axel again as he followed after the woman, Anna.

Anna smiled at the boy before shoving him in a room. "Change in there. When your done go down this hallway. Go through the door and you will find Axel. Keep your eyes down and go straight to him. Do not speak to the others in the room. This is for your safety. He might be the master here but accidents do happen. Do not try to escape. The doors and windows are watched." She shut the door and walked away. She was rough with all the new slaves. They either died the first night or they survived. If they survived the first night she became a mother to them. She did this because most died the first night. No point in getting attached to a dead person.

Roxas turned and glared at the woman when she pushed him into the room. She didn't need to be so rough about it. After the door closed, he looked down at the clothes. He didn't change right away. But after a moment, the blond did anyway. He didn't really like what he was wearing. But he did so slowly. He was in no rush to get to Axel. If fact, he wasn't going to go. If the redhead wanted him, he was going to have to force him to come. With that in mind, he sat down with his back against the wall and pulled his knees up to his chest. He wrapped his arms around his legs and waited.

After he had seen the third vampire, all asking for permission to stay the day in his area, Axel finally looked up. He didn't even stop to glance at the bribes he had been given by the vampires. Instead he looked around the room looking for his newest slave. He should have been here by now.
Axel stood up and cut the next vampire off. "I will be back in a moment. It seems that my newest toy is being stubborn." He turned and walked out of the room. He knew where the blond was and quickly made his way to the closet. He flung the door open. "I know you were told to come to me. Why did you not come?" He said this all with a mean leer to his voice and face. |
Roxas looked up when the door was opened. He wasn't surprised to see that it was the 'master' himself. "I didn't feel like it." the blond stated. He wasn't the type of person to obey anybody's orders. And he wasn't going to start now.

Axel sighed. He might have bought this slave for this very behavor but there was a time for it. This is showing weakness infront of the other vampires. I can't let it go on. "Get up. We have business to attend to." He smirked then said, "And then we can have fun."

Roxas shook his head. "No... I don't think that I will get up. I'm pretty comfortable right here." he said. Though the blond wasn't sure what Axel meant by 'have fun.' But he was sure that it wouldn't be something that actually would be fun.

Axel growled softly. His fists tightened then he forced them back open. He could feel his hands heating up. He reached down and grabbed the boy by the collar and dragged him up. "You will listen on this matter. I will not look weak. I can be a fair master. Don't make me act rashely."

Roxas glared at Axel when he was dragged to his feet. "I'm not going to do as you say. I don't obey anybody." he told him. "And I don't care how you appear to other people." the blond snapped.

Axel cleenched his teeth and tightened his fists again. His Eternal Flames sprang into form. He looked down at them getting angrier. They just showed how upset he was getting. He opened his hands and the chakrams fell from his hands. Before they reached the ground they disappeared again. He knew his hands would be hot to the touch but he didn't care. He grabbed the blond and dragged him down the hall. He started to lead him to the hall but instead turned and walked to his own room. He opened the door and threw the boy into the room. "If your not going to listen then stay here." He looked around at his red and black room before turning and leaving the room. He shut the door and walked back to the hall.
He finished his business quickly and walked back to his room. Instead of going inside he stayed in front of the door for a moment trying to reign in his anger. |
Roxas glared at Axel, but winced slightly when the redhead grabbed his arm. When the blond was dragged off, he instantly tried to get his arm free, with no luck. The other's grip really hurt, but that didn't stop him. He stumbled slightly as he was thrown into a room before he turned and glared at him again. Did the readhead really think he was going to stay in here? After he heard the other walk away, he went over to the door and slipped out. Now it was time to get out of here. He went in the opposite direction that Axel went.

Axel opened the door expecting to find the human but instead there was no one inside. He couldn't hear any heartbeats in the room. He turned and felt the anger growing again. If there had been no other humans he could have easily found the boy but he had over twenty human slaves. He turned and walked in the direction most likely to have been taken by the blond. He would have tried to distance himself from Axel. Axel could feel the heat coming from his body as flames started moving around him.
As he walked he saw one of his female slaves move. He stopped and waved her over. She walked to him but stopped a safe distance away. She bowed low and never looked him in the eye. She has learned very well. "The new slave has run off. I will find him. Please put word out for all the guards to stand at attention. And go to my rooms. I do believe I will need a snack after this." He started walking again. |
Roxas moved around the castle, avoiding everybody he saw. He had to find a way to get out of here. When he saw the guards up ahead, he turned down another corridor. Weren't there any ways out of here that wasn't guarded?! He needed to get out, before Axel found him. But he was starting to get tired of running around. He slipped into an empty room and closed the door behind him. Maybe he could hide in here for a while.

Axel walked the halls listening for heartbeats. Most of the servants stayed in groups. He finally found his way to a single heartbeat. It led to a room where no slave should be. He opened the door and found the blond inside. Axel stepped inside and closed the door then sat on the floor leaing against the door. Fire still crackeled around him but he managed to keep it from burning the floor and door. He brought his hand forward and watched as the fire traveled to his hand and formed a larger ball. "Was my room not to your liking? I could find you new lodgings. Maybe in the celler?"

Roxas turned and glared at Axel when the redhead entered the room. The blond backed up against the opposite wall and leaned against it. His heart was beating fast, but not from fear. It was from all the running he just did. He shook his head. "There was nothing wrong with your room. I just want nothing to do with you or this place." he stated. Which was the truth. He just wanted to get out of here.

"I'm sorry boy but I paid good money for your. So that just isn't going to happen. Your fate could have been much worse had I not bought you. If you didn't wish to be a slave you should have tried harder not to get in this situation. Your mine now. Got that memorized?"

"No. I don't have that memorized. And I don't see how I could have tried harder to stay out of this situation if I don't even know how it happened." The blond stated. Why couldn't the redhead see that he wasn't just going to obey him just because he paid for him.

Axel closed his hand putting the flames out then stood up. "Well then, I think it is time for you to see what world you have fallen into." He grabbed the boy again and dragged him back to the bedroom. He opened the door and shoved the boy in again. He turned and locked the door. He smiled at the female slave from before. "Hello darlin'." He walked over to her. She was one of his favorite to feed on. She was short, only coming up to his chest, had lovely dark short hair, and very clear blue eyes. He brushed her hair back and led her over to the bed. He sat her down on it before kneeling in front of her. He turned to look at Roxas. "You don't believe in vampires? I think you have much to learn. His eyes shifted from their normal green to a red to match his hair. He turned back to the girl and leaned over her neck. He bite into her neck and drank for a moment. He let her go and gave her a small kiss on the cheek before turning back to the blond. He wiped away a trail of blood that ran down the corner of his mouth.
