In the realm of Gods, only humans that are chosen are aloud to see. This is what happens to a young female when sacrificed to the Gods for their powers in the years to come. She ends up alone, scared and not sure what will happen to her when she comes to in the middle of a dark, empty temple. She knows one of the Gods will choose her as their wife, but what will happen until then?

I am the girl I am today because :: When I was younger, my parents always dressed me in pink. Unlike other girls, I didn't grow up liking the colour. My favorite colour had always been black. As I got older and was able to pick out my own clothing, my outfits got much darker. At the age of 14, I began doing cosplays with some friends. At the age of 15, I learned to play guitar (which my parents didn't like too much). I haven't been the best child, but I haven't been the worst either. And now here I am, a slight delinquent being offered to the gods.

Erebos sat amongst the shadows of the trees, making it rather difficult to see him unless one were actually looking for him. He knew the human would be transported to this world shortly and huffed about it, remembering the last several humans that had shown. One of them, he even managed to scare into the woods at night where he was able to torment her until she was found. I wounder what this female will be like... he thought to himself and stood up. The God drifted between shadows until he came to an ancient building, much like the ones the emperers used to have. The God stopped and waited, knowing that the girl would be appearing shortly.

Everything was dark. There was nothing to see, nothing to hear, nothing to touch. Akira awoke within an empty temple that wasn't as dark as where she was before. This must be the temple of the Gods. She sat up and looked around. There was no one to be seen. She couldn't even see the God that was lurking in the shadows. She hadn't want to become a sacrifice to the Gods only to become one of their wives. I wonder what the average is for how many wives a God has, and why doesn't males get sacrificed for the Goddesses?

A flash of light shown, signifying that the human has arrived. Erebos smiled and moved to another shadow to get a better look at the girl. She was very beautiful. More beautiful than the other girls he had seen. The God waited for something to happen, anything while he contemplated his choices. On one hand, he wanted to scare her into the woods so that she might get lost. On the other, he wanted to introduce himself, be kind and caring.
After a good minute or two, the God chose the latter and walked into the light, squinting while his eyes adjusted. "Hello."

Akira quickly say up when the God seemed to come out of no where. She didn't trust him or any of the others. A few years ago, she learned to never trust a God. They were always tricking people. She didn't know what the Gods could do to her now that she was in their world, but she didn't really want to find out. "Hello, sir. Might I ask which God you are?" Was he going to be my future husband? She looked him up and down. He wasn't bad looking, but she wasn't ready for something such as marriage, especially to a God.

The male looked the human over before answering. "I am called Erebos. I controle darkness and shadows. What are you called, girl?" he asked while still standing there. His pinkish eyes glistened in the light and his skin seemed to glow.

((brain fart))....

Girl? Was that the best he could think of? Akira thought about stalling with the telling of her name, but what fun would that be? The male may have a hissy fit if that. She was human after all. "It's Akira Nakamura, human sacrifice." She wondered what the other Gods and Goddesses were like.

"Well, Ms. Akira, nice to meet you," he said, bowing down like a gentilmen. Being nice felt extremely wierd to him but, this girl had an interesting aura. He wanted to know more. Erebos looked outside and then back to the girl. "Would you like if i showed you around?"
