Scarlett watched as Ace rode off in the direction of the Duchess's home and then smiled to the Hatter. "This is our chance Kristopher.. we'll have to bring her back to your home and hide her so the soldiers cannot find her." She said, running towards the girl. "Hello, might I offer you some tea? My dear friend and I have too much tea to drink on our own and would like to invite you to our lovely tea party." She said, giving a weak smile. She bit her lip, hoping the girl would come along so they could hide her. She looked back at the Hatter and then smiled to the girl. "My name's Scarlett Marquet.. and yours?"
((Shania, Ace knocked on the door to your house in my last post.. x.x )) |
((Sorry about that))
Hearing the knock on the door Arturia jumped to her feet and turned to the door hearing that it was Ace, she walked Over to it and opened the door saying "Why hello Ace how do I deserve your visit today?". A smirk came across her face finally something to do, she curtsied then said "Please come in", she opened to door wider and stepped to the side allowing Ace inside. She looked at Ace and then outside seeing his horse tied to a tree then back at Ace. |
Chesire neared towards Arturia's house, seeing that she was letting in Ace. He quickly hurried to the door before she closed it. He simply walked in, without bothering to say hello or ask if he could. He normally never did when it came to Arturia. He just always assumed she wouldn't mind. He sat on her couch with a yawn. "Hello." He finally greeted, followed by a wave to both Ace and Arturia.
(Short, I'm sorry) |
Val turned as someone spoke to her, spooking her slightly. "Oh, um... a tea party," she asked, trying not to raise her eyebrow. Who had tea parties nowadays? |
Kristopher answered for Katie. "Little blonde girls running around? That looks like you?" He tilted his head curiously. "Other than you, I don't think so." He touched the brim of his hat and gave an very open, friendly wave. "I'm Kristopher, by the way. You can call me Mad Hatter, yes." Hmm...that's curious. This girl doesn't know she's Alice! That must be the only reason that Ace left her alone... He broke out of his thoughts and snapped back to reality. "Well, you'd better follow us, Alice. Or should I call you Val for safety?" Hatter took his uneaten pouch of sugar out of his coat pocket and dumped the contents in his mouth. "Now, come on, before they get you, my pretty." |
Scarlett nodded at what Kristopher said for her and then ushered the girl to follow them. She started to head back towards the table, glancing back at Alice. "We'll make sure she does not end up like the others.." She whispered to Kristopher, talking about the four Alice's. "For we couldn't help them.. but we can help her." She said, giving him a small smile. She ran her hand through her blue hair and looked around the forest surrounding them, she listened carefully to see if she heard anyone approaching.
Ace stepped inside when he was offered to and grinned at the Chesire. "Any news for me and the army?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the Chesire before sitting down in a chair across from the couch. He laid back and looked to the Duchess. "How has your day been Miss?" He asked, stretching his arms and legs from not moving them much while he was riding his horse. |
Arturia sat at the other end of the couch and smiled when she saw Chesire and then looked at Ace saying "Unusally boring, how has your's been?". She quickly stood up then said "Would any of you like a drink?", she smirked at the both of them then looking at Chesire she said "It is awful nice of you to drop in Ches". She waited for them to answer before she would go get drinks.
(Sorry it is so short having a mind blank right now) |
Chesire smiled, "Nah, I'm not thirsty." He said, before looking at Ace. "I have news you'll love," He said with a smirk, "The new Alice has arrived. Hatter and Scarlett left to find her, though." He explained, leaving out the part that Ace was talking to her earlier. "She seems completely unaware of who she is, and where she is."
|
"My name isn't Alice," she said with a smal frown, following after the two. "Where am I? First, I was at the cemetary, and then I fell and ended up in this strange room with a mirror, and then that little girl pulled me through the mirror and I ended up sitting in the middle of a road-" she suddenly stopped talking, clamping her mouth shut as she realized she sounded ridiculous. She pushed through the thick forest, ducking under branches and trying to avoid getting her hair caught in something (she knew it was ridiculously long and needed to be cut, but she'd never gotten around to it.) "Who was that guy I was talking to? Don't tell me you didn't see him, either," she added, ducking under another branch. |
Arturia looked at Chesire when he said that the new Alice had arrived and said "Did she really?" she smirked again saying "That is just wonderful new that she is here, but it would be sad it the Hatter and Scarlett have already found her". She sat back down on the couch and said "Maybe it is time for me to pay a visit to them, it has been a while". She leaned back and thought to herself for a few moments and then looked back at Ace and Chesire saying "She doesn't know who she is that is a problem for the rebellion but it will make it oh so easy for us" she smirking again.
|
"Oh, that guy. We saw him, alright." Kristopher put on a face that looked like he had just drank some sour milk. But he always tended to exaggerate things. "He's the Black Ace, and works for the Black Queen." He first explain to Val. Then Hatter whispered back to Katie. "The other Alices...terrible tragedies, yes." He scrunched up his nose. "Especially that third one." He then turned his attention back to the Alice that did not know she was Alice. "To explain it would be rather hard." Kristopher watched as a bird pranced around on the branches and felt like prancing around himself. Hmm...I haven't eaten a bird in a while... "And long." He then yawned. "And quite boring. But since you're Alice, Val, I guess we'll just have to explain now, won't we?" He looked at Katie. "The problem is, where to start? But I think we should get scrambling along to my house first. No doubt Chesire is going around telling people Alice is here." |
Scarlett looked to the Hatter with a nod. "Alice.. you used to come to us when you were young. I doubt you remember.. but Wonderland always chooses it's Alice's wisely. And only the real Alice lives. Kristopher and I will be here to help you stay out of the grasp of the dark Queen, for she is worse than the bloody Queen." She said, glancing at Kristopher. "Trust me, we can only wish that we do not see the Black Ace. He's so.." She looked away, thousands of memories flooded her mind. "Horribly messed up. The Queen has him wrapped around her finger." She said, leading them both back to the table.
She grabbed her basket, then took Alice's hand and led her into the Hatter's home. She opened the door wide for Kristopher after pulling Alice in and sat the basket of herbs on the table. "I'll make you both tea tonight if no one shows up to try and take you." She said to Alice, giving a slight nod of her head before looking in Kristophers direction to see if he made it inside alright. She brushed off the sides of her black dress and adjusted her hat. Ace glanced at the Chesire. "That's impossible.. I've been on the trails all day and have met no Alice!" He said, slightly aggitated. "Then I guess you will have to take me to the Hatter's home because I know that's where our darling Alice will be." He said, standing up and heading to the door. "Come along Chess," He said, opening the door. |
Chesire smiled at Ace, "Now now Ace. I've done my job just by inforimg you the Alice was in Wonderland. You can figure out the rest," He told him with a smile before yawning, "Besides, I'm to tired right now any who." He smiled once again, before disappearing. That was Ches for you. He was of course still siding with the Dark Army, and would've been more than happy to show Ace if Ches wasn't so lazy at the moment.
|
Arturia stood up when Ches left and said "I will come with you Ace", she smirked as she walked towards the door. She walked throught the door passing Ace saying "Ches did do his part now it is ours come on". She walked down a path that lead to the Hatter's house, she waited for Ace to catch up and said "It has been a really long time since I last saw him." She skipped down the path towards the house, she was glad to finally get out and do something.

"He's not as wrapped up as the King, though..." Kristopher paused to remember when he had first met The Black King. "The Black King is practically The Black Queen's personal slave." He stepped into his house and closed the door, looking at all the windows in random places. Maybe I have a few useless bedspreads...I could use those to cover up the windows...hmm... Kristopher quickly ushered Katie and Alice into his beautifully ornamented living room. Each one of his rooms had a different theme. For the living room, it was "Palace style. Victorian Era." He felt a slight pain that began in his head, but then it occured that he was having another headache. He often got them when he couldn't think of anything. Glancing back at Katie, he gave a nod. "It'd help this awful headache I'm having if you'd make some tea." He managed a smile, but he was pretty postitive that it looked something more like a grimace. Kristopher's kitchen was just across the hall from the living room, but it managed to look like it came from another galaxy. Everything was modern, and it was color-themed to be light blue and white. And of course, there were stashes of tea everywhere. |
Val only followed them, a frown on her face. "My name isn't Alice," she insisted, before stepping into the house. It was beautifully ornate, and she couldn't help but stare as she looked around. "I think I would have remembered a place like this," she said slowly, following them through the house. "I don't even remember most of my childhood." Her therapist had bottled it down to supressed memories- her childhood was so painful that her mind was blocking out the memories to protect her well-being. She was ready to chalk this all up to a bad dream, ready to wake up and go make an appointment with her therapist. She sneezed; it smelled heavily of tea and herbs within the house. |
Scarlett nodded and frowned at Kristopher's facial expression. "I'll go and make some tea now." She said, patting his shoulder before going across the room to the Kitchen. As Alice ran out her eyes widened. "I know your in pain but you must go get her! I'd help but.." She motioned to her hands that were cutting up tea leaves and throwing them into a black kettle. She filled the kettle with water and put it on the stove, adding in a few more ingredients to make it taste delicious. "Tell her that even if she isn't Alice she better get her rump in here if she want's to live!" She said, rolling her eyes and stirring what was in the kettle. She then started to look around for tea cups that weren't broken.
She thought of what Kristopher said, knowing that the Black King was a lot more obedient to his fair queen. It was pretty saddening on how he'd do anything just to get her to show him a bit of affection. Scarlett got three tea cups and sat the on the counter and waited for the tea to be done. Ace rolled his eyes and looked to the Duchess and Chess. "But I have no clue where the Hatter lives! I've been trying to find it forever and to my luck i've only found the Hatter." He said angrily. "Wait, what do you mean Scarlett? I know of no Scarlett's still existing in all of Wonderland. The only one I knew of died when she was fifteen." He said bitterly. He hated thinking of the past. He ran his hand through his hair and then gave a quick bow before running outside. He had to find Alice, even if he didn't know where the Hatter's home was. He got onto Maximus and kicked the side of the horse, causing him to start running deep into the woods. He listened carefully to try and hear if he heard the Hatter and his strange songs. |
With red-stained hands, the woman dressed in entirely black popped the last of the raspberries into her mouth. Warm and pleasantly bitter, the berries’ crimson juices escaped, creeping past her pale pink lips, and dropped onto the lace napkin she wore on her lap. She giggled as she peered down at herself, acknowledging the mess she had made.
“Sebastian,” her Majesty the Black Queen, Lilith Grevillea, called out, her voice melodic and sweet. She sat in her royal garden on a high-backed mahogany chair. Next to her rested a dining table, in a similar style to the chair, that appeared so elegant it looked almost distasteful in the outdoor environment. The table was stacked high with an appalling amount of fruits, cakes and other sweets. Naturally, it was too much for one person, especially one as petite as she; albeit she had no guests. As she normally did, she would eat not even a tenth of the delicacies on the table and the rest she would command the servants to throw away. Her Majesty would not allow them to save any nor let anyone else eat the sweets. These were her treats and only she would be allowed to enjoy them. As soon as she spoke a man, sporting the habiliments of a butler, emerged from behind the hedges and approached her, his manner hesitant. The man was tall—very tall—and stork-like. His salt-and-pepper hair was smoothed back, emphasizing his beak of a nose. He stopped an unusually large distance away for her Majesty and gave a swooping bow. “What are you doing, Sebastian?” Her Majesty asked, her tone betwixt with traces of amusement and irritation. “Come hither.” “Oh. My apologizes, your Excellency. I did not know you meant me,” the stork-butler said and approached closer. Her Majesty frowned. Her black laced fan rested on the dining table beside her. She wanted to play with it, snapping it open a close, which was a habit of hers when she felt particularly angry or entertained; albeit if she did that she would risk staining it with her sticky hands. “Whoever else would I mean?” “Regrettably, I am not Sebastian, my liege,” he said, keeping his head low and bowed. Her Majesty raised an eyebrow impatiently. Not Sebastian? Whatever did he mean? The non-Sebastian hastily continued, “If you recall, your Majesty had the butler known as Sebastian flayed just last week.” “I do not recall.” She sounded disinterested. “Your Majesty declared the tea he prepared had been too cold,” the butler explained. “Ah,” her Majesty stated, simply. “Then I assume you shall not make the same mistake?” “Certainly, your Majesty.” Her lips splayed into a smile, beautiful and shining. “Good. Now, Sebastian, clean this up.” She presented him with her alabaster hands stained red. The butler flinched and looked as if he wanted to say something, but decided against it. He reached into his pocket and shook out a white silk handkerchief embroidered with silver. “Yes, your Majesty,” the ninth butler to be renamed Sebastian uttered and then proceeded to clean her Majesty’s fingers of the crimson juice. |
With a sigh, Kristopher heaved himself off the couch. "A-ll-ll rii-ii-ii-ii-ii-gh-t." He walked down the path that Val had taken and saw the back door open. Kristopher quickly ran out into his messy backyard, which had teapots, teabags, and teacups strewn all over the place. Along with, of course, the occasional stain or spot of tea. He winced at the sight. Hatter hadn't realized it was so, so messy before... "Val! There you are. So so so sorry for the mess. Say, do you enjoy a nice cup of tea? Katie's making some. Oh, yes, and she said to get your rump back in there if you want to live. Hmm, maybe I should get someone to trim these hedges for me. I'm thinking of a hedge statue of myself. What do you say?" Hatter twirled around in a few circles and continued chattering, while picking up teacups. He licked his fingers, savoring the taste of tea. Pointing to the door, he motioned for Val to get back inside. "Now, now, come on back inside." |
Arturiaskipped along the path towards the Hatter's house, she used to go there all the time for tea so she knew the way very well. When she saw the Hatter's house she smiled and skipped around the table that was in her way and then stood at the door. She paused a for a moment the knocked on the lightly saying "Hello, Hatter? Scarlett? Are you guys home today?" She waited swaying back and forth smiling, she hoped that they were because that met the they didn't find Alice or they did and she was here with them. She looked back at teh path that she had come down and realized that Ace did not follow her, she shrugged it off and looked back at the door.
|
Val looked back at where the girl had been, then turned to face Kristopher. "What," she asked, a confused look on her face. "What do you mean if I want to live?" She stepped over a broken teapot, picking her way back to where Kristopher was. "I don't quite understand what's going on here," she said, sounding frustrated. "I don't even know where I am!" |
Teki's eyes slowly opened, blinking once, twice, she looked around her. She seemed to be in a teapot, about the size of a field mouse. She sat up, which made her tiny self only fill half of the teapot. She looked at the spout of the pot, then up at the top. Which route would she take to get out? She looked down, realizing the teapot was broken, she tried crawling under it, but she was too large. So, she attempted to push open the top, She succeeded in getting the top off, the problem was, getting out. After a lot of jumping, Teki managed to crawl on to the top of the teapot.
She stood at about the size of your hand. Looking up, she saw a blond haired girl with green eyes. Alice? She thought wonderingly. Jumping off the teapot, she scurried off through the maze of grass. She was the little Dormouse, the only child of the White Rabbit and the March Hare. She was about the size of a mouse for now, but she was still pretty short in comparison when she was life size. She took her staff from her back, and sat on it. "Iket, go to that blonde girl over there." The staff seemed to understand, and before long she was up in the air and hovering above her head. Though 14 years old, she was unaware of what "personal space" really was. So, she landed on the poor girls head. Bending down so that she was half-hanging over the head, she looked at the blonde girl's green eyes, which were not focused on her, but Hatter and Scarlett in front of them. He mouse ears twitched before kneeling back up and looking at Hatter, and Scarlett. She opened her mouth, and in a voice that was pretty audible for someone her size, she said,"Hatter? Scarlett? Who is this?" Her gray eyes seemed to make her look blind, and her pale, ice blue curls made her stand out from the head of the blond girl she was seated upon. |
{{Ah! This Rp can't die just yet! *Does Rp CPR*}} "Ah, Teki! There you are! I thought you were around and about here somewhere." Kristopher blinked at the dormouse sitting upon the Alice-who-knew-not-that-she-was-Alice's head. Teki was the child of the White Rabbit and the March Hare. Hmmm, where is White Rabbit, anyhow? He's late. Way late. "Teki, that girl you're sitting on is the new Alice." He tsked. "Now, you might want to get off of her head. I'm sure you're scaring her a bit." Hatter held out his hand and motioned for her to get on his shoulder. |
Teki's expression turned from a confused, curious one, to a even more curious, and mischievous one. Her gray, almost white eyes were bright as she looked at the said, 'New Alice.' Giggling, she knocked on the girl's head, putting her ear to the blond's head, as if trying to hear something. "She's pretty hollow isn't she?" She mused. Going to her feet, she scurried up Kristopher's arm and to his shoulder, where she sat. Her mouse ears twitched again as she stared at the girl up and down,"Maybe she's in denial, aren't most Alices like that when they come?" Teki, still seemed pretty young and wound up for her age, it was probably because of her Narcoleptic disease.
She kicked her feet out, and pouted at her small size, then looked at the poor girl who seemed utterly confused at the moment,"Well, I'm Teki, pleased to meet you new Alice!~" She looked at Kristopher curiously,"Hatty, have you seen daddy around? I'm pretty sure daddy's doing something out there, but this is a bit strange for him isn't it? I usually see when I wake up...." She sat and thought, trying to figure out the big jumbled thoughts that were spinning around. |
"White Rabbit? Nope~haven't seen him around." Kristopher replied to the tiny girl. Then, something hit him. The Hatter took his pocketwatch out of his pocket and glanced at it. "He's late. He's LAAA~~~~~TT~~~~EEE~~~~~~" After a few coughs and deep breaths, he returned to normal. "Sorry about that. You know how I am with punctuality and time." He brought out a magnifying glass decorated with jewels out of nowhere and began inspecting the Alice. The Hatter punched her lightly a couple of times, then tapped her head."Hmm. Hollow? Not quite sure about that." The eccentric then threw the magnifying glass over his shoulder, where it landed on the floor with a loud clunk. "But she must be in denial...I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know what we're all talking about..." |
