Princess Akila sighs out as she reads a book to about being a queen. ever since she got back home to her home kingdom her father. King Suten order that his daughter to take lesson's. about becoming a queen to help her out if she ever get's married. his wife had die when Akila was 5years old. the queen had done something she should not have so she die a early death. the king would only allow his daughter to go outside with 5 guards if she. is just outside in the flower gardens are in to the city to shop.

Amun paced the palace floor listening as his adviser's babbled on and on about his obligations to his kingdom, take a wife, create heirs in the unfortunate event of an untimely event there had to be someone to carry on his blood line. "I do have brother's you know" Amun reminded them for what felt like the millionth time. But then one went off in a rant about it being his child they would see on the throne and one after the other agreed. Yeah your loyal while I am prince in line to be pharaoh he thought fingering the hem of his robe. "Alright I knew I'd have to marry sometime especially if I want to be pharaoh now who's the candidates?

"Well sir Princess Akila of south Egypt is one of the candidates. The princess Iris of east Egypt is one as well. the 3rd is Princess Tea' of west Egypt she is the last one." One of his adviser's says to Prince Amun after all he is the first born in line to the throne.


Akila finish's reading her book she get's up form her seat. then walk's out of the royal library leaving the book on the table. walking off to the royal garden to get some fresh air form being. in such a stuffy old room she sometimes wish her mother is still around. even so the kingdom was talking about the princess return a lot.

"Well obviously I must meet these candidates if I am to choose one" Amun said imperiously turning now to face his adviser's head high playing his princely part, "A festival is coming up let us extend an invitation to these three princess's and their parent's inviting them to celebrate here. At the feasts I can meet the girls and hopefully pick my future queen" the prince said. It wasn't a suggestion it was an order the adviser's knew that and scurried off to do his bidding sending messenger's out to the three girls asking them to join them in Northern Egypt at Thebes for the festival of Ra

All 3 princess's each got a invitation to the Festival Princess Iris. said she could not make it cause her family is going to visit. her mother's side of the family that lives in far east Ciro. it had been planed a head of time months before this. Princess Tea' sent a letter back saying she could make it her mother. Princess Akila en her Father were going to come since her father wish's. to see his daughter married off someone that will not try win her in a war.

Amun listened as the messenger's read back the two acceptances and one refusal, Amun was surprised at how he had heard back pretty quickly, while he was a little irked at Princess Isis's refusal there was no use for it and two were still coming. "Alright the festival is next week time to prepare send out for a new tunic I need to look good for my to be bride" Amun said it more for appearance sake, personal he couldn't care what he wore, once the meeting was over he left the hall and went to the stables to visit his horse Euripides a beautiful black stallion. A strong warrior Amun was more at home in the saddle or on a chariot with a sword in his hand then at the throne. But as the next in line it's what he had to do

"I better buy a new dress maybe a nice necklace. are I could try to use the dress my mother wore? when she met father it is in much soft pink color with bit of gold." Princess Akila run's off in a hurry to ask her father is she could go. in to her mother's closet to find that dress was consider rare. the sliver jewelery she has would be a good mix to gold and pink. King Suten lets his daughter go in to her mother closet. A good 5hours later she finds the dress then try's it on. it fit perfectly yet would not use any face veils at all.

Amun steered Euripides back into the stables, he had taken him for a ride sneaking out so he had no guard, no escort, the people in the palace were looking all over for him. Little did they know that this wasn't a first time occurrence Amun often slipped out of the castle on his own, you would think with him being so important that they would have more guards watching him, but all Amun did was send them away so he could have time to himself. After he had finished walking and brushing his horse, something he liked to do himself rather then leave it for the servants to do, Amun headed to the baths to wash all the sand and dust from his body. It was nice to feel the servants hands washing him, servants did so much even things he was perfectly capable of doing himself and most times he did but today he enjoyed the message. Once done he dressed richly following appearance and joined his father, mother and two siblings at the table

Princess Akila walk's off go to dinner her older brother half brother Atem. her 2 younger sister's Auset and Bahiti both girl's had. there father's dark black hair with green eye's truth. be tolled they were twins but born 4minutes a part form each other. King Suten had one other wife form arranged marriage. how left him for a other man after having Atem with him. the girl's older half brother is super nice to them each time. there father left go to a other kingdom he would keep close eye on the girls. this time Akila would be with him so he'd stay home with the twins.

Amun ate heartily of the food laid out before them, as usual they had a musician playing while they ate, it wasn't a particularly lavish affair as his father was so found of but a more intimate dinner for him and his family. The food was good, the company fine but Amun was distracted by thoughts of the upcoming festival. It took his brother a few times to get his attention and finally gave up all together when Amun merely lapsed off into silence. Was he nervous about the upcoming marriage perhaps, not because of the girls but because once married the crown and thus the kingdom well it would come when it came the palace was abuzz with preparations already

Akila eats the food that is on her plate Atem notice. she had a worried look on her face once in while she would fiddle with her fork. Auset and Bahiti talk with each other trough out dinner. after dinner she walk's off to her room to take a nice long bath. her hand maiden's add some lily en jasmine to the bath water. for a princess she was all ways thinking about. if she'd be a good queen,wife as well a mother hopefully nothing bad would get pass down to the kids.

Amun sipped from his wine goblet as the evening finally slowed down his younger siblings heads dropping until they had to be taken away by their nurses and tucked into bed. Bidding goodnight to his parents Amun went to his own chambers and readied himself for bed. As always servants were around offering to do this and that for him which was starting to irk Amun, did they think him so incapable that he couldn't even undress himself. Ordering them away all except for the guards that guarded his chambers Amun climbed into bed falling into a deep dreamless sleep

Once done with the bath Akila tells all the servants and hand maidens to leave. yet let the guards stay outside of her bedroom getting dress. in to a night outfit to sleep in for tonight then fall's in to her bed. falling fast a sleep having good dream's about the past even few dreams about the future.

(time skip to the day of the festival Akila and the people she brought with her along with the other princess's are at the palace and settled into their rooms is that alright?)

It was the night of the festival, Amun was dressed richly if uncomfortably he didn't much care for being dressed up. But you had to do what you had to do, after all there was no way he was going to show neighboring kingdoms shabby clothes they needed to impress it was just the way of things. Straightening his clothes Amun entered the hall people were all around here and there eating, drinking, dancing this was a merry festival. Amun's mother hurried over taking him by the arm so she could introduce him to his prospective brides. "Be polite" she reminded him pulling him along towards a young woman escorted by a finely dressed older man he recognized as pharaoh of west Egypt "aren't I always" he teased

Princess Tea was dress up in her most pretty dress she owns. talking to some other lady's that were at the festival. she had tired a few pieces of food even some drinks. her father King Tore dressed in his best clothing for this. he hope his daughter would some day get married to a prince. so he would not have to worry about her no more so much.


Princess Akila dances with a noble man since he had ask her nicely. the dress she had on was white and gold colored with a soft. light gold sash around her shoulders tied by her middle. she had some white gold bracelets,one ankle bracelet on each ankle. yet once in while she would keep her eye on her father. just to make sure the prince had not talk to him yet she wanted to meet him.

After a short boring conversation with the pharaohs daughter Amun let his attention drift around the room. It finally came to a rest on a rather pretty girl dancing with a nobleman turning to his friend who had somehow managed to get a spot beside him he asked who she was. His friend the general's son and next in line to be general for his bravery on the battlefield told his friend it was the princess Akila one of his prospective brides. "So that means I get to dance with her" he said thoughtfully just as the dance ended walking out onto the floor he politely asked Akila to dance

"Of course I will dance with you you must be Prince Amun. it is nice to meet you my name is Akila." she says to him hoping he is a good are even great dancer. for a princess she was soft spoken yet a shy person. around people she dose not know are just met for the first time. her blond hair is short not long at all she had a habit of keeping her hair short.

Amun pulled her close assuming the position for the dance "It is nice to meet you princess I hope to get the chance to get to know you better. And please call me Amun we need no formalities here" Amun told her as he started the dance with her, like all young men he had been trained in all manner of area's and one area his mother had gotten her way in was dancing. So Amun while not the best dancer out there, not like his sister at least was still a very good dancer, well enough anyway that he didn't make a fool of himself

Akila smile at Amun happy to hear she did not need to use royal titles with him. she let him do the leading for there dance since. the noble man she had dance with before had ask her to do the leading. she like to dance as a hobby mostly out the corner of her eye Akila. watch her father talk with Amun's mother they seemed like having a nice time.

Amun for the time being only had eyes for Akila but once the dance ended he stayed by her even escorting her to the refreshments table. "Well this had been nice hasn't it" he said pleasantly watching as his mother finished her conversation and came over to the pair
"Are you have a good time Princess Akila?" Amun's mother asked politely watching her son out of the corner of her eye

"Oh yes Mama I'm really enjoying my self thank you. for inventing my Father and my self to your kingdom's festival." Princess Akila says to the queen yet did not speak about her own mother at all. she rarely talk's about her mother it brought back pain full memory's for her. if her own twin sister ask her about what there mom is like. Akila would tell them all of the good memory's she still had of there mother. Atem was only 2 years old when she her self was born. he was 1years old when there father got married to her mother. he could tell the twins tone's of story's about about his step mother. at times he would admit she was more like a real mom to him.
