Lazareth was once a great world, where the floating Three Islands and the World below co-existed.. though, as years went by; mist began to cover most of the Great Land, the inhabitants of the Three Islands worried that some had happened, such as an epidemic or plague.. or perhaps, the people and animals had all disappeared.

The superstitious few of these Islands proposed that it was plagued, and any who dare to go to the Great Lands were to never return, and would be proclaimed dead. These few began to call themselves, "The Order", and started to rule over the Islands, and at first, they protected and loved their people.
Though times changed.. and even though the queen Mirae was a sweet and gentle person, the Order secretly snuck behind her back, and wrecked havoc on the poor citizens of the Three Islands. They forced them to pay extra on taxes, the workers to ship in more supplies and good to the city, Luania. But these were small acts, compared to what was to come.

Lady Mirae, ruler of Luania, died of an illness, her family was known to contain,several years before. The crown seat went to her younger brother, Atoire, took her place. The people were relieved at first, but soon, Atoire was shown to be cruel and uncaring of his people. He only wanted power and control. Taxes were raised higher, workers forced to work extra hours, supplies running low in the two smaller islands.

As time passed.. Soon, Atoires attentions were clear. He wanted to remove the Genisea from the Islands, the powerful mineral that allowed them to float in the skies above the world, and to go back to the main land, to take it as well. The people were highly against this decision, for it would be certain death if the Islands were to go down to the main lands... and they were appalled to see The Order did not oppose the idea, but accepted it.. but soon learned why. Atoires closest friend, Tyses, had taken seat of The Order in replacement of Quen.

Rebellions had been charged at Atoire, but being protected by The Order and Luania's guard, he is un-touchable. Word is spread that has already begun the removal of the mineral Genisea, and it shown, for the islands slowly grow closer to the world below.

[Kas]
Khas is where the Workers and Gatherers reside. Khas is full of crops,farms and, cattle. The towns are made up of small merchants stalls and wooden/straw huts. They are only given mercy at all when it is the Cold Season, and the time for sickness.
Khas is rather dead-looking, despite its needing to grow food for Incras. Most of its lands is brownish, with the green only being young tree tops, unfortunately, these are killed in the Cold Season after four years of life, and are replaced by newer trees.
Khas has a slightly different way of being governed than Incras or Talabia. It is much more simple, but strict.

Talabia is where Herbalists and the such reside. Talabia is lush and green, full of life, the polar opposite of Khas.
Talabia is where most of the herbs and healthful foods grow, and so, it is extremely important to the Three Islands... Talabia has no villages at all, because by building villages, trees and important plants would have to be removed. Instead, they reside in fortresses which are in the top parts of the trees, and in caves on the hills and mountains. People from Incras claim they are more savage than the rest of them, though, that is only a rumor. The inhabitants of Talabia have a deep sense of the world, and are very connected to one another.

Incras holds the large city, Luania. Luania is where more than half the population of the Three Islands reside, and is the trade center. Most of the supplies and medicines from Khas and Talabia are transported there by flying ships, which have been fused with Genisea.
Incras is also the only island that has a large lake surrounding the city. Talabia, especially Khas, have small lakes throughout the island.

Sky Pirates
Sky Pirates use Genisea in their wooden boards in order to fly throughout the sky. They are rarely seen, and are said to go to the Main Land often, in search of treasures left behind since the supposed disappearance of the humans below. Sky Pirates are highly disliked for their freedom and ability to decide or choose how to live their life.

Field Worker
Field Workers reside on Khas, tending to the groves, farms and cattle. They work long, horrid hours seven days a week. They are by far the poorest living, and hardly ever are allowed to go to the city, because of the tight schedules the trees and plants need.

Gatherers
They also reside on Khas. They are the ones that visits caves, hills, mountains and tunnels in search for minerals such as Gold,Ruby,Emerald and the rarest, Diamond and Genisea. They don't work as often as the Field Workers do, only about five days a week for reasonable hours.

Orders Dog
The members of The Order. Ever since Mirae's and Quen's deaths, those in the Order have not been taken kindly to amongst the inhabitants of Khas and Talabia. They are to keep peace in the three islands, and keep track of criminals that live within the three islands.

Herbalist
The creators of Medicine. They reside in Talabia, and are to know what is poisonous and what heals within the the forest on Talabia.

Shop Merchant
A merchant residing in Luania. They sell the goods brought in by the Field Workers,Gatherers and Herbalists.

Traveling Merchant
A merchant who travels all along the islands, with supplies in packs or on animals traveling with them. Normally they are in groups of two to six.

Wealthy
Those with money that don't have to even lift a finger.

• Forgotten World

Main land, Great Land, it has acquired many names over the years. This is the world below the Three Islands hidden by thick, never-ending mist. There has been no signs of the humans below in over eighty years.. and the inhabitants of the Three Islands are too afraid to go done to those lands to see what has happened to their "fallen" friends. Instead, they believe that those down there have done something sinful, and have paid dearly for it, and now the land is tainted and ridden with disease. The only ones ever to go down there are Criminals, which are escorted by those within The Order. It is also rumored that Sky Pirates visit those lands, as well.

• Genisea [ Jen-is-sea ]

A very unusual mineral which is found within the earth of the Three Islands. Small pieces are able to float about six or several feet from the ground. Which means, each island contains a vast amount... Which is odd, because it seems to rarely ever been found. Historians have come to the decision that it mostly lies within the centers of each Island, and is unreachable.

Current tyrant of Lazerath. He is cruel and unkind to his subjects, and never tends to matters that the citizens need dealt with. He is currently busy picking out boys of Ten to Eighteen to do the horribly dangerous job of taking Genisea out of the islands.

• Tyses ~ 31 ~ - Unclaimed-

Tyses is Atoire's personal Watcher, and is the leader of The Order. It is said he and Atoire have been close since their young school years. Tyses is devious and sly, able to twist someones words, and to believe they had also said the same thing, which increases the criminal rate in The Three Islands.

• Beniare ~ 38 ~ -Unclaimed-

Govenor of Khas. Beniare is very loyal to both Sir Atoire and Tyses, and never disobeys them. He is the one forcing most of the people on Khas to work so much and so hard. He is extremely greedy, and wishes for money and favor of Atoire.

• Alisti ~ 34 ~ -Unclaimed-

She rules Talabia. Alisti is very opposed to Atoire, as well as many of her people are. She only follows his order because she is worried of the well-being of the residents on the Three Islands.

  ~ Nyra was raised by her parents, whom she learned everything about Lazareth from,due to Incras being the only island having school available to children and adults. She also learned of the freedom of Sky Pirates from her grandfather, who had been one in his youth. Learning about the history of Talabia and the Sky Pirates, Nyra felt torn between the two. She loved Talabias landscape, and the animal inhabitants, but the thought of sailing the skies, going wherever you wanted, seemed like paradise.
  xxxxxxThough, as time went on, Nyra realized she couldn't become a Sky Pirate, seeing as she would need her own ship, a crew, and know how to use the stars in the sky to navigate around.. something someone only from Incras could accomplish. Her life now, is being an Herbalist. She takes her own goods to Incras rarely, as she must stay and continue to make medicines and pain killers for others.

• Biography
  ~ Raised in the household of one of Luania's most prominent land owners, Lord Khallos Durian, Gareth was the son of the house's head chef. Though he had a better life than the others in the household, he was still a servant working for nobility. However, he was happy and would play with the daughter of Lord Durian when they were young children. Their difference in station didn't become fully apparent until he was nine and she was seven when Lord Durian caught them giving each other a kiss. It was a simple kiss, a peck on the cheek, but Lord Durian went into a rage. He hadn't minded them playing since there weren't many other highly stationed children for his daughter to play with, but when he saw a servant kissing his little girl, he had Gareth whipped, saying to him, "My daughter could never be with a nobody like you, a commoner with nothing to his name." After that day, Gareth decided that he too would possess great wealth, more than even Lord Durian. Since he couldn't get much money the legal way, due to his station, Gareth decided to sneak onto the ship of a sky pirate currently in port. Years later, Gareth turned against the cruel captain and claimed the ship for his own, gaining renown as a highly skilled and honorable pirate. He gaining much wealth and lived quite well, until recently. A few days ago, his crew turned against him, led by the son of the former captain who had disguised himself as a simple pirate. Though alive, Gareth is now left with nothing but the clothes on his back, a few coins in his pocket, his dueling blade, and a crossbow with only a few shots left.
