Laharl chuckled.
"I'd help." He muttered. He stared at Anna...his eyes wide. "You mean it? I can get out of this thing if I jut promise not to kill your ship? " He nodded quickly. "Just don't blame me if you get Etna all over the deck." |
Anna nodded. "Fine by me... I think I can deal with Etna if she gets out of hand, anyway."
She grinned, looking at the mages. "What the heck... erm, guys, you can stop now, if you'd like. But if he gets out of hand again I'll let you know." Anna done a thumbs up, blinking. "I mean it. I can't afford to lose another chunk of ship..." |
Both Mages flopped back, too tired to stand, Abbie's own shackles disspating when there was nothing to keep it in check.
Laharl stood and glared at Saiet and Lollie pointing a digit in each of their directions. "I'll deal with you two later...." He stalked off to find Etna. |
Anna shook her head, sighing, crossing her legs and deciding to just let Laharl do as he pleased. As long as her ship did'nt get wrecked in the process, she did'nt care.
Etna in the meantime had withdrawn to the kitchen, after Anna had left. She figured nobody was going to go in there, since near to nobody could cook, so after the Prince had calmed down some... which would be a while... she'd come back out. |
"ETNA!!!! GET YOUR SORRY TAIL OUT HERE!!! I KNOW YOUR HIDING OUT IN THE SHIP!!! EITHER YOU COME OUT OR I COME IN IT'S YOUR CHOICE!!!" Birds flocked up from the surrounding treeline as Laharl screamed at the top of his lungs. Everyone within hearing range plugged their ears before they started to bleed...and Abbie seriously considered using her magic to freeze his mouth shut.

Anna sighed, looking slightly discouraged. "Atleast my ship isn't falling apart..."
Etna twitched. Why would she go out? Eesh, all he was going to do was beat the crap out of her. She glanced around. No windows. So she crawled into a cabinet; she was thin enough to the point she could fit in about anything she tried to. Argh, stupid Prince! Martha had been watching from the kitchen door, apparently Etna hadn't realized. She sighed, deciding not to rat her out, since Etna HAD actually helped with the cleaning earlier, and without being much of a pain. Martha rolled her eyes and picked up a can from the counter, just to have an excuse as to why she had been in there if Laharl DID spot her. Man, all of these guys are crazy... |
"....THREE!!!" He stalked to the door that lead inside and threw it open...hard enough to bang...but not to break it off it's hinges. As much as he wanted to, Anna would have killed him if he'd done it.
He made his way into every room that he hadn't blew up before and poked his head in where he could...at last he came to the kitchen. "Etna ♪" He called. "Come out...I'm not angry with you...in fact I'm FURIOUS!!" He started opening random cabinets, under the sink and everywhere he could reach. |
Martha cleared her throat, before turning around and whacking Laharl in the head; she'd just been getting ready to walk out before he busted in. It was time to throw on the angry face; she'd faked stuff alot, so no one could tell when she was lieing and when she wasn't. "HEY!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, BUSTIN' UP IN HERE AND MESSIN' UP THE KITCHEN!?! GET OUT!!!"
Martha looked infuriated; she was in all honesty enjoying herself, though, as she had more fun than she should with lieing. |
Laharl held his head in his hands. He glared back to Martha.
"You want me out take it up with your Captain...otherwise I'm searching for my insubordinate Vassal lady, so shove off." Laharl was angry...and he had little patience when he was angry. |
"No, you shove off.", Martha said, glaring. Now she was peeved. "This kitchen's pretty much mine. I am NOT going to deal with some blue haired midget in here messin' stuff up!"
She put her hands on her hips, glaring down at him. "Either way, if your vassal was in here, I'd know it. Besides, who'd hide in here? The cabinets aren't that big. I mean, YOU might be able to fit, but..." (Poor Laharl, everyone picks on him for being short XDD Including myself, after seeing the character line-up sketch the artist done...) |
"Then like I said take it up with Anna. She said as long as I didn't mess up her ship I could do what I'd care to do." He smirked.
" She could fit in there, Etna's so flat-chested she could hide anywhere." |
Martha sighed, opening the cabinet Etna had been in... she wasn't in it.
Well, she was, but all the ones on the bottom were connected, and while Martha had been talking, Etna had crawled over to the other side of the cabinets. "Except for in here." I'm gonna have to fuss at Anna for this one. She's way too nice to this brat... |
Laharl went red. He stalked out muttering about disembowelment of a certain vassal once she was found.
"I'm going to use her intestines for violin cords!!" He cried makins his way out into other areas to look. ((Edit: I know XDD Well he can't help it if he's only knee high...can he?)) |
(I don't guess he can, admittedly it's gotta be a pain to be so short, especially trying to be Overlord XDDD)
Martha snickered, doing a thumbs up at Etna, who'd peeked out of the cabinet long enough to do a thumbs up back. Anna, in the meantime, was busy 'swabbing the deck', so to speak. Just because she was Captain did'nt mean she did'nt work. Anna was going to make sure her ship stayed clean, and considering Laharl's vassals were working hard on trying to fix up her ship, she figured she should do something, too. "Anna! Oh, man, this is so funny.", Demitri said, running up. He walked up next to her, leaning down to whisper in her ear, even though Laharl could'nt see or hear him, apparently. "Martha's hiding the red-headed demon in the cabinet, from Laharl." Anna kept herself from laughing, before glancing back at him. "Man, that's great. Sounds just like her. I guess that'll be her pay to Etna for helping." |

Laharl stomped out onto the deck and crawled up the mast looking quite irate. Etna wouldn't get away from him for long...and once he found her....she was going overboard just like he'd planned. |
(XD Oh man, talk about it! It would really bite if all your vassals wanted to kill you... AND you were short.)
Anna blinked, watching Laharl stomp out. Well, this was obviously ticking him off. She guessed Martha had actually snuck Etna past him. Anna shrugged and went back to swabbing the deck, after Demitri had made his perch somewhere else that wasn't infront of her. Besides, Anna had already helped him out of the cage, today. But if he asked her, she needed to come up with some sort of fake answer; she knew better than to mess with Martha when it came to these sorts of things. |
The day wore on and Laharl stayed in his crow's nest perch, mulling over his vassals escape, while he anger died down.
Three times Flonne had to step in between Dagger and Mint so that they could finish the deck and start on Anna's room and Abbie and Innes took to making sure Saiet and Lollie didn't pass out from the strain of holding their own Prince in a cage for most of the day. |
Anna had just decided to stay out of everyones way... and instead decided she was going to annoy Laharl. Annoy as in do that unintentionally.
"Hey, man. You alright?", Anna said, peeking her head up over the top, just now getting up the ladder. Everytime she saw the crows nest now, though, it only reminded her of Abel, when the two used to hang out up here often. "Don't let it get you too mad. She's on the ship somewhere, so I can guarantee she'll show up eventually..." Speaking of Abel... "Wait... what?" The Prinny stood there, looking up at Demitri. He'd finally gotten him off to the side, giving him the chance to talk to him. "Yeah, I can tell who you are really easy.", Demitri said, crossing his arms. "By your eyes, it's pretty obvious. I don't guess anyone else has noticed anything, though, Abel." Abel held his flippers together infront of himself, nervous. "You won't tell Anna, will you?" Demitri blinked, looking surprised that he'd say such a thing. "Of course I won't tell! I might be a little... um, crazy, but I'm not mean." |
Laharl 'humphed'.
"Meh I don't care one way or the other if she shows up or not.....she's nothing more than a pain...her and Martha both." He turned with a grin. "Besides her new puinshment is going to be leaving her here with you." He laughed...loud...long and annoyingly. ((Edit: Why do I always forget these things? XP Yesh having homicidal vassals and a height defect would indeed bite...bite very hard)) |
Anna shook her head, climbing up into the crows nest and sitting down. "Yeah, yeah, I hear you. You'd better not leave her here! That'd be more like punishment for me..."
She scratched the back of her head, again with that vague, bored expression. "I can agree that both of them are annoying, though. I like Martha but she really drives me insane... she's not just tough on me, but on everyone else. But I guess if it weren't for her being so bossy, not as much would get done as it does. Hey, uh, anyway, I've got a question." Anna suddenly looked sort of fascinated. "Do you guys have videogames in the Netherworld?" That was an odd one, coming from a pirate. (Don't worry, I constantly forget to turn off my signature! Speaking of which, I'm going to add something else to it here, soon; the combination of this roleplay and that animation gave me an odd drawing idea... Anyway, I can agree, that would bite. That and half the people that bug Laharl are really... strange, between Vyers and Gordon XDD) |
"Ha like you couldn't take her...she's not that tough...just...really sneaky...." Eyebrow twitch then he went on.
"I can believe that....She's like a drill seargent in menopause." He quirked an eyebrow and thought. "I guess....why?" ((XDD Aw but I like Vyers...he's kinda smexeh....for an idiot who runs around claiming to be the Dark Adonis...XP)) |
Anna sat there, looking a bit peeved. "I... love videogames. But I can't play them on my ship. Videogames need electricity, which you can't get on a pirate ship..."
Anna sighed, hanging her head. "Oh, well, I guess... it was worth giving them up to be out here on the ocean like this. I think this is alot better than the sort of stuff people like Captain Gordon and all those idiots with their giant metal flying ships have." (Yeah, apparently Vyers thinks he's pretty sexy, too XDDD) |
Laharl looked back at Anna.
"What's this flying metal ship look like...besides metal and it flies?" Laharl had never heard of this person called 'Gordon' but Anna seemed to know a lot about him...maybe he would be a worthy opponent to fight here in the Human world before he went home. ((Yesh..he knows smexeh when he sees it XDD)) |
Anna sighed. "I don't know how to describe it exactly but it looks loads different from mine. Gordon's annoying, though. He yells this annoying thing..."
Anna cleared her throat and struck some sort of pose. "'I AM CAPTAIN GORDON, DEFENDER OF EARTH!!!'" The teenager then looked annoyed, dropping her arms. "GOD, he ticks me off so bad. I can't stand him!" (Indeed XDDD Laharl remains my favorite, though. Even if he is incredibly tiny...) |
Laharl's heart sankk.
"This guy sounds like a complete moron....doubt I'll get a good fight out of him....I can see why he annoys you...anyone that runs around screaming their the defender of anything needs to be shot." He looked over the edge where Flonne was racing around the deck screaming about the Prism Rangers and being a defender of Justice and he turned back to Anna. "Case in point." ((Yeah my favorites will always be Laharl, Flonne, The Prism Rangers, Vyers, and Seraph Lamington....but I think if Dimitri was in the game I could learn to love him too XDD he's so angsty and adorable!!)) |
