Demitri raised an eyebrow. They were just slugs... and roaches, but he was used to both.
Anna soon fell down on her bottom from laughing. "That look works great for you, Flonne!" Etna peeked her head out from the cabin, blinking. "Oooo! Flonne's all covered in strange stuff! How did I miss this!?" |
Flonne did her little 'dance' around the entire upper deck, until Abbie...who had been hard at work inside, burst from the door.
"ENOUGH!!!" She screamed. She jerked Flonne to her and froze all the crawling things that were still on her then smashed them all on the deck. "I have had it!!" She pointed her staff to Anna and Laharl in turn. "Both of you..STOP. NOW." She glared at them pointedly and then stormed off back to Anna's room before Mint and Dagger wrecked it with one of their quarrels. |
Anna raised an eyebrow for a minute... before continuing to giggle, glancing away from Flonne. "Oh, man, that was gold."
Demitri sighed. "Easy there, Anna. You might pass out if you laugh too much." Shrugging, he turned, heading back down the hallway. He decided he'd hide out in Abel's old room until they were done with Anna's. |
Laharl paused long enough for Abbie to go back inside, then cracked up all over again as Flonne shivered...Abbie had almost froze her in the process...well at least she was free of all those bugs....she muttered something about the crow's nest and rubbed her arms as she went.

Demitri stopped on his way in.
It just occured to him that this could very well be a wonderful time to get revenge on Anna for some of the pranks she'd played on him. He wasn't sure if he could get goody-two-shoes Flonne to play along, but he figured he'd throw the offer out there. Looking over, he could see Flonne was on her way to the crows nest; while Anna wasn't looking, he jumped, and with a few flaps of his wings, was perched on the edge of the crows nest. If he was lucky she would'nt run off after seeing him up there. Anna cracked up again, walking over to Laharl. "Oh man, that was EPIC. Good enough for her! Babbling on about that love crap all the time." |
"Epic that was better than epic!! THAT WAS CLASSIC!!!" He rolled over the deck unable to stand.
Flonne shivered and muttered...she didn't hate Laharl...she thought...but that wasn't very nice of him and Anna after all she'd tried to do to help them.....she began to think that they needed a taste of their own medicine... "Wish someone would show them what it was like on the other side of the prank." She muttered. |
Demitri peered down at Flonne, a small grin on his face. She seemed quite peeved. Perfect.
Maybe he'd be able to talk her into this one, after all. Anna laughed some more, looking down at Laharl. "Talk about it! Oh man, I've got to hand it to you, that was a great prank. You've got a talent, there." Apparently to Anna, being a jerk was a talent. |
Flonne hadn't even noticed Dimitri until she turned around to glare at where Anna and Laharl were.
"OH!!" She cried jumping. "Don't do that!! You scared the living daylights out of me!!" He swiped a tear. "I know the look on her face!! PRICLESS!!!" He pointed to Anna. "I think those roaches you caught did most of it!! Didja see her dancing around-" He wriggled on his back imitating Flonne. |
Demitri blinked at her. "Sorry, miss Flonne. Now, onto business..."
He leaned forward. How he managed to perch and do this, and not fall down, was unknown. "If you need someone to help you play a prank on them, I'll be more than glad to lend you a hand. Laharl irritates me and Anna has played pranks on me many a time before." He held up his index finger in a matter-of-fact manner, grinning. "Like I said we'd have to work together. Anna can see me but Laharl can't, so I could do something to Laharl easily. Anna would be harder, though. But you see, Flonne, neither of them will expect for you to do anything to them." Anna cackled, nodding. "It was so great! But I think the slugs done most of it! Those little suckers stick to everything, so they're a real pain to get off." |
Flonne stared at him.
"You want to help me?....the both of us, against..." She looked down and scowled. "Those two?" That inner voice told her no...but she was beginning to think that Laharl needed to be taught a lesson. She smiled happily and nodded. "I would be happy to work along side you Mr. Dimitri." |
Demitri smiled, widely, at that. He was a bit cute, although creepy looking. "Alright, then, Flonne. But, first things first... what would we do?"
He tapped his chin, as if thinking deeply. "They certainly have their fears but of different things. Laharl is scared of busty women... and Anna is scared of spiders." He shook his head, immediatly getting an image of Martha combined with a spider, which was an odd one. "The only thing I know that bugs both of them is the lovey-dovey stuff. But there's no way to base a prank around that... not that I know of. I might have been an angel before but I wasn't well educated in the concept of love." Looking confused, Demitri continued to think. "I can't say as I've had such a puzzle for a while, miss Flonne. Do you have any ideas?" |
Hmmm yes it was quite the pickle that they were in...Flonne couldn't think of anything..not at the moment...
"Well...how about we start off with basic pranks, find one that works..and then go from there to make it especially for them?" |
"That should work fine.", said Demitri, nodding. "I can handle Laharl if you can handle Anna. Laharl can't see me so if he were to get mad to the extent of violence there's nothing he could do. It usually only takes busting up Anna's ship to make her beat up someone, so you might be a little safer handling her."
He batted his wings slightly, before folding them against his back. "We should see if we can find something that scares both of them, and then use that against them at once." |
Flonne steepled her finger and smiled....kind of creepy in a way...like when the guy you just rammed into smiles as he mentions breaking your kneecaps.
"You leave Anna to me...we'll find something that we can use on both of them." |
Demitri smiled, nodding. "Alright, then, Flonne."
With that, he spread his wings back out and leapt from the crows nest, gliding back down onto the deck. Thankfully Anna had turned to head back inside, so she still hadn't noticed Demitri talking to Flonne. Now to find out something that scared Laharl... but what, exactly? More so, what would scare both him AND Anna? |
Flonne turned to watch the two laugh their heads off...and grinned..they'd get theirs...as soon as she could think of something.

Demitri stopped. That was it.
They both had that fear... Something happening to their egos. And he knew there had to be a camera on the ship somewhere. Blackmail. He quickly flew back up to Flonne, wishing he hadn't been so quick to fly down. "Flonne, I've got an idea, but it'll require some waiting... and stalking." |
Flonne smiled...again that creepy smile and she nodded. It seemed Dimitri had been thinking the same thing she had. She hopped out of the crow's nest and floated down, her small wings no better for flying than a glider.

Demitri followed her back down, but rather than land where she did, swooped down to the roof of the cabin and seemingly disappeared right through it.
Anna had finally stopped laughing, although she still seemed quite entertained. "Man, that was so much fun." She glanced off towards the ocean again. To be honest she enjoyed looking at it. "Feh... well, now what?" |
"Well this is going to be fun." Flonne laughed and headed inside..she was getting a little hungry...maybe Miss Martha would have something she could snack on...until later.
Laharl stopped. "Hmm...dunnno, you pick a victim this time." |
Demitri had immediatly headed off for Abel's old room. Abel used to be big into taking pictures. He was pretty sure his camera was in here...
Everything was kinda dusty. To be honest it made him sneeze a few times as he looked around for the camera. Soon he found it; it was one of those that, you took the picture and it came out the bottom. He grinned; old but it'd have to do. Just to be sure... Demitri pointed it at the window and clicked down the button; a flash was seen, and soon the picture came out. After a moment it turned from black to a color photograph of the window. "Perfect! It works, too. I'll let Flonne use it... after all a floating camera might be suspicious." |
Flonne waited in the kitchen, munching on an apple that she'd found there. She hadn't seen Miss Martha anywhere, so she helped herself. Now all she had to do was wait until Dimitri brought the camera and they could begin...she'd hoped he'd found it already...she was itching to get started.

(Boy, that was an effort... I'm slightly proud of myself, I finally got my first hangout thread done. The banners were a pain...)
Demitri seemingly appeared behind Flonne, holding up the camera. "Here you are, Miss Flonne! It's Abels old camera... ah, how fun it is to be using it for evil, hm?" He held it out towards her. "I'm going to let you take the pictures. A floating camera might be a bit odd... where as you can say you're getting pictures of the scenery, yes?" |
Flonne turned, the apple gripped in her teeth. She nodded and mumbled her answer, she then blushed and removed her stopper.
"Sorry, I meant to say, 'it's not evil...it's divine punishment'. I just hope Anna and Laharl leave themselves open for this." She took the camera ramming the side of the apple back into her mouth and fiddled with it a moment figuring out ow the thing worked. After snapping a shot of her blinded face, she smiled and nodded, hopping off her stool and heading outside holding it behind her back. |
Demitri shook his head. This was going to be fun.
Anna on the other hand was out on deck, obviously bored as she tried to think of what their next victim would be. "Wow, I've never had a hard time thinking of this before. I'd say that orange haired kid but she hasn't done anything to me to deserve it." |
