Abel looked over, seeing Anna and Laharl going at it once again. "Maybe I spoke too soon...?"


Anna burst out laughing. "SO!? I'M A PATHETIC LITTLE HUMAN, RIGHT!?! WHAT EXCUSE DO YOU HAVE!?"
She then reached forward, grabbing him by both of the hair antennae, as if she had some sort of intention of trying to pull his hair out. "HAHA! HOW EXACTLY ARE YOU GONNA GET MY SHIP, ANYWAY?! WHAT KINDA THREAT IS THAT!?"

Abel grumbled slightly, wishing the two would just shut up already. He had all idea that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Flonne shrugged.
"Doubt it...they're going to be like this for a LONG time."

"HA! SO YOU ADMIT THAT YOU'RE PATHETIC!" He let out a cry as he was hauled forward, but he grabbed onto Anna's hair as well, tugging her with him.
"I'LL GET IT DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT LITTLE GIRL!!"

Flonne's chest heaved with a sigh....and Dagger and Mint started placing bets.

Abel nodded his head in agreement. "That is true... haha, it'll be a relief for all of us when Asylum's defeated, then, won't it!"

Anna growled when Laharl grabbed her hair, and proceeded to pull upwards on his. "WHAT'S WRONG?! CAN'T THINK OF A RESPONSE TO THE ACTUAL QUESTION, MORON!?!"
"SO, HOW ARE YOU GONNA DO IT?! ARE YOU GONNA SOMEHOW JUST MAGICALLY LIFT IT OUTTA THE WATER OR SOMETHING!!?"

Etna watched from the entrance to the room, looking absolutely entertained. "Aaaww, lookit how well they're getting along!"

Flonne nodded.
"That.....or a Miracle."

Laharl gave her tit for tat, and jerked up on the bunch that his hand gripped.
"PAH! YOU JUST DON'T REALIZE WHEN YOU'RE BEATEN!!" He growled again.

"Indeed... sadly, doesn't seem like miracles happen all too often.", responded Abel, who was watching the two as if this were some sort of game.

Anna grit her teeth, pulling even harder on his hair.
"YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO ADMIT THAT YOU'RE NOT THE TOUGHEST DEMON AROUND!"
"SO, THAT MEANS YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW, EITHER!? HAHAHA, IDIOT!"

Flonne's eyebrows lifted....if these two acted like this when fighting Asylum...
"We're doomed." She said decisively.

"I WOULDn'T BE OVERLORD OTHERWISE HUMAN!"
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT, I MIGHT BE KEEPING MY PLAN A SECRET EVER THINK OF THAT!"

"Amen to that...", sighed a disgruntled looking Abel.

"YOU'RE ONLY OVERLORD BECAUSE YOU WERE THE LAST OVERLORD'S SON!", said Anna, with a sharp cackle. "BESIDES, YOU'RE FAR TOO SCRAWNY TO BE THE OVERLORD!"
"OH, REALLY, NOW?! WHAT'S WRONG, AFRAID A HUMAN'S GONNA STEAL YOUR PLAN OR SOMETHING!?"

Abel watched. "This is better than those televisions they had on the coast, in the cities..."

"You've been to the coast?" Well duh...sailor.

Anna, still laughing, finally let go of his hair. "THAT'S GOT NOTHIN' TO DO WITH BRAINS! YOU CAN'T FIGHT ASYLUM WITH YOUR MIND, YOU KNOW!"
She snickered wildly, glancing away. "If you WERE fighting her with your brain, we'd be dead..."

Abel nodded. "Well, of course. I came from there before leaving it behind and joining Anna on her ship, you know. It's... alot different than Tortuga, alot more... machinery based? The areas on the sea haven't really been changed by time, but... the areas on the coast are very... how would one say it, futuristic?"

((YAYS! *grabs pencil and clipboard* I's ready! XDD))

"Well you certainly can't fight her! You lost last time remember!" Laharl jerked free of her grasp and rubbed the end of his hair where it met his scalp....where it seemed to be most tender.
"And if we left it to you, we'd REALLY be dead."

"Oh wow!" Flonne's eyes widened, she'd heard tales of the human cities that were far more advanced than even Celestia, but she'd never seen them.

Anna rolled her eyes. "I'm pretty sure I'm ATLEAST smarter than you are! Anyway... I was younger and less experienced then so shuttup! I'd probably do just fine on my own, now! You're only helping because, you know, just INCASE something DOES go wrong, like it WILL..."

Abel laughed, halfway in a way as if he thought she was insane. "Trust me, it's not pleasant; it smells pretty bad, there's alot of smog and smoke from all the machines."

((XDDD LAIS! HE'S ADORABLE! *Attacks Dimitri again!*))

Laharl sniffed.
"NO." He corrected.
"I'm HELPING for TREASURE. Plain and simple."

"Oh, well still I'm sure that all those machines are pretty amazing...do they all do the same things?"

(Dimitri: AUGH D< *Stumbles around, falls over* )

Anna crossed her arms. "I know very well you're takin' my treasure! I was pointing out that I'm only keeping you around just incase something goes wrong when I fight her!"

"Well, they have different machines for different things.", responded Abel. "Some are used for transportation, some are used to communicate with other people... there's alot of different ones."

((*Falls with and lands on top of* LOL))

Laharl sniffed.
"Oh like in case you DIE?" He asked pointedly.

Flonne, now sitting, had forgotten all about Anna and Laharl, and sat listening about the cities and machines that the Humans used.
"What did you do there? It sounds like they really don't need people in those places."

(Dimitri: AUGH COOTIES D< GET OFFA ME )

Anna growled, reaching forward and grabbing Laharl by the hair... again. "You calling me weak!? I'm not going to die, and if I DO, that's better off for you, isn't it? You'll get the treasure for SURE if I'm outta the way."

Abel stopped for a minute, as if thinking. "Oh, it's been a long time... ah, of course! Yes, I was a doctor, when I lived there."

((Meh: NEVARRRR!!! *huggles his cuteness*))

"WHO SAYS I WANT YOU TO DIE!" Laharl screamed getting wrenched over again by his hair...MAN this was getting old.

Flonne smiled.
"That's a good job to have, I think I like Doctors the best, they all seem so nice." She nodded firmly, as if standing by this notion and this notion alone.

(Dimitri: AUGHSFISIFIOS I'M GETTING THE COOTIES ALL OVER ME DD< )

Anna snorted, letting go of his hair and crossing her arms. "I didn't say that, did I? I said you'd be better off if I were. After all, I'm going to do about anything to keep you from taking my treasure, in the end."
Anna knew she'd die eventually, either way; most likely far before she got old. The sea was a dangerous place, but... she'd knew what she was in for when she set out on the Deadwatch.

Abel scratched his head. "Well, little kids never think so..."
He laughed, speaking in a joking tone of voice. "Infact, to them, doctors are the most evil things alive!"

((Meh: THEN LIVE WITH THEM! *Scary face*))

Laharl breathed a sigh of relief...that last bit could have been taken WAAYYYYY out of context. So he pulled himself up tall...well so to speak and looked over at Anna.
"Bah!" He said, turning around with his back to her.
"That's what you think."

Flonne laughed.
"I take it you treated some of them then?" She asked.

(Dimitri: *Extremely frightened* DO NOT WANT D< )

Etna had already noticed this and was standing nearby, giggling madly, until she got an annoyed look from Anna.
Anna then looked back towards Laharl. "Well, whatever! I've had enough arguing with you."
For a minute, she acted as if she was going to leave and do something else... before she realized she'd only manage to get lost in the castle. "Craaaap..."


Abel nodded. "Yes, quite the few. That's how I met Anna, too, now that I think about it. She was so tiny back then..."
Etna was now standing behind Abel. "No need to go all flashback-y on us, purple guy. What kinda doctor were you supposed to be, anyway?"
Abel grew quiet, looking irritated. "A good one... go away..."

"What?" Laharl asked looking over his shoulder.
"Worried about getting lost?" He smirked.
"If you're so worried about it, how about getting us back to the Human world?"

Flonne looked over, it was hard to imagine Anna being tiny....well...tinier than she was.
"Huh..." She looked back at Etna.
"Why do you have to tease him Etna? He's really quite nice."

Anna sighed. "You know, Laharl, I would just LOVE that but I've got absolutely no way to get up with Dimitri. It's not like I can just talk and he just randomly pops up... as awesome as that would be..."


Etna grinned in a rather devilish manner, reaching down and picking up Abel, holding him under one of her arms. "Well, I need him to clean toilets so I came to get him."
Abel looked as if he'd seen a ghost. "N-NO! NOT THAT! ANYTHING BUT THAT!"

"Why not? He's your imaginary freind after all...isn't that what they do??"

Flonne started.
"Wait!! Etna, you can't do that! What if the portal opens before he gets done!"

The Gatekeeper blinked once and then twice...and then looked over, the Portal in question shuddered and she hesitantly pressed her hand to it..
"Your Highness." She started.
"The...gateway seems to be in proper working order now."

Anna glanced away, looking disgruntled. "If only he WERE imaginary..."

Her eyes widened a little when she heard the Gatekeeper say that the portal was open again. "Whaaat!?"
Looking like an excited little kid, the Captain squirmed and made some sort of odd 'nrrrrggh' noise, looking past excited, by now. "YES! FINALLY!"

Etna blinked. "Aaaww... and I was just about to have some fun, too..."
Abel looked slightly dead, as if the shock of having to clean those horrible toilets had been too much for him. "A-ah, finally... portal... yay..."
