She pouted at him, though her eyes glimmered with amusement. "See, there you go with that smartassery again. What am I going to do with you, honestly?" She trailed her fingers idly through his hair, swooping down to make hearts on his neck in thought.

She cocked a brow. "Oh, is that so? Well," she feigned a smile, showing off more of her sharp canines than neccessary, leaning over the table; "I'd hate to think I was the one who started that trend. Good thing I won't be, hmm?" She leaned back out with a staged and bored yawn.

----

"Heh," he gave a bemused chuckle to himself, smirking only slightly; "who told?" He lightly inquired. He raised his head to pass another fleeting glance around the bar, but stopped. What was the point? Obviously she was enjoying her night elsewhere, she must have been. Who said he couldn't at least attempt the same? Though admittedly he didn't view his current company as much more than going from irritating annoyance to quirky, albeit still annoying and uninvited curiosity.

He pursed his lips in a half smirk. "Yes, I suppose so... But do you give the look a whole new, er... look, I admit." He cast a glance up and left, puzzling for a minute as to if she was actually sitting on any of the chains lining her skirt, but dismissed the thought as better left unanswered. He blinked back into awareness. "Well, how's the drink, anyway?"

----

She grinned in satisfaction at getting more responses out of him, short as they may've been. He was a tough cookie to crack, but she'd mentally mix as many sayings as she had to, to do crack this cookie wide open. "Well, Akiyo Wayne doesn't have much of a ring to it, and I'd hate to see you try to stuff that hair into a mask, so we'll have to assume you're someone besides Batman." She stroked her chin for a minute. "Hrm... regardless, whereabouts is your fortress of solitude, if you don't mind me askin'? I can only assume you live in the city too, unless you commute to this bar just to sit and stew by yourself."

((OOC: Can't sleep, so update time. XD I think 'll wait until the Matt excerpt before I continue my half of Waltz. It doesn't really feel like I can go too far on my own at all any more. Dx It's very set up for more intervention. XD; May try and get some interaction up for wolfy and drunky at some point if you'd like, but I don't know. But, to this plot!

It's amusing the hell out of me. XD))

Lips upturned in a deliciously wicked half-smirk. "I try," she replied smoothly, reclining and knocking back another sip. She licked the milky froth from her lips, barely suppressing a gleeful little giggle as it bubbled up from the tingle on her tongue. Whether she was trying to intentionally be cruelly seductive or was just a whack job was yet to be determined.

"Can't complain," she smirked at him; "although," she paused in mock speculation, peering into her half emptied bottle; "you're asking again rises suspicions in me." She grinned over his way, winking.

----

He cocked a brow, that bemused chuckle/smirk combo returning. "Oh, so if I'm not Batman I'm automatically Superman? To poke holes in that theory, I don't wear glasses as my master disguise, and I'm not on the payroll for any newspapers I know about." He gave her an accusing up and down with his eyes, grin broadening; "sure you're not a stalker, mm?" A melodramatic sigh. "Well, if you must know nonetheless, my apartment's only a few blocks from here." He shrugged.

Our apartment, he mentally corrected himself nonetheless. But what did that matter right now, he didn't know.

((OOC: I'll try to extend the Matt storyline over my break, for chu. <3 xD I should be able to hurry things up, once I do what I have in mind.))

He perked up, in a couple of ways. Apparently his charms were finally making headway with her. He grinned back at her, chuckling. "What, somethin' wrong with asking questions of someone you wanna know more about? Not that whether you liked your drink or not is high on my list of things I'd like to know about you. Lessee... what's your favourite colour and why, hmm? There's a nice innocent question, if a little boring."

---

She grinned, sitting up in her seat and leaning in with interest. "Oh, I never said for sure that I wasn't one... but this 'stalker' just got you to grin, mister, and she considers that an achievement at this point." She propped her head up with both hands, eyeing him curiously. "Not only that, but she knows your name and that you live within a few blocks of here... oh, just imagine what a stalker might pull with that kinda information." She smirked, glancing up in thought. "Yet I don't know your last name..." She leaned in again, grinning toothily. "Mine's Suzuki. Care to share...?"

((OOC: Oh? And what would that be my love~?

And when exactly does that start, anyway?

The ball is rolling, rolling, rolling! *into it* *__* ))

She shifted in her seat, turning her side and some of her back to him long enough to lean it in an arch backwards over the table slightly, tilting her head back to face his cutely and upside down, a suspicious and accusing look on her face. "I'm beginning to think," a pause as she raised a hand back his way; "that you," she began to motion to him, not taking her eyes off as she turned her body back fully around, fingering of accusation still pointed; "had ulterior motives to just giving your last drink of the night free." She sat back, arms folded, manicured nails tapping away at her flesh, awaiting answer. She shook her head and shrugged it off. "Bah..." she shrugged again; "I'd have to say red;" she nodded. "It's just so," her voice became full of possessed emotion; "powerful. Fiery. Commanding attention. Lustful..." her voice was a low and husky hiss as she emphasized each word with a different fitting emotion, ending on that last one.

She smirked to herself, leaning back more, arms folded neatly behind her head as she nodded again and gave him a once over, pretending to recline against the air, ever so non-chalant. "And you?" She had to admit, she sure as hell hadn't noted 'trade names of favourite colours with a random waiter' on her to do list for the evening before leaving. Meh, what harm could it do?

----

He feigned shock. "Oh, was that your master goal then? And you're right! Whatever have I done?" He placed fingers slightly over his mouth before smirking. "Heh," a low chuckle that could really be more classified as a half hearted cough, if anything; "just don't hack me into little pieces, now. Though it'd serve me right as punishment for telling." He paused, thinking it over. In truth, he'd never really had a real last name, but over the years he'd taken to calling himself by the addage of Dakoma. He wasn't sure why. Well, it didn't matter terribly; he used aliases most places anyways, and Line made a point to keep them unlisted in phone books. In fact, he suspected their rent checks were signed 'Smith.'

"Mm, not really, no, but... Dakoma." He said at last.

((OOC: An update, just for my kitten. <3))

He smirked, eyeing her. "Ulterior motives, hmm? I'll remind you, I was enjoying myself just fine before you hunted me down. I won't contest, though, that that 'fiery' nature of yours piqued my interest enough to try to get you to hang around. I like a woman who can put up a good fight, and yeah, I mean that in a non-masochistic or stalkery way." He scrunched up his face and stuck his tongue out at her briefly. "Har.. anyway, I'd say my favourite is blue. Not for any great character-revealing reasons, I just like a nice blue. It's cool and in charge. Or would saying that relate it to me like I was trying to avoid? Ha.. Well, that's my answer, at any rate.

------

Propping her head up on one arm again, she looked up, mulling over the name. "Dakoma, Dakoma..." She blinked out of it and looked across at him, her usual grin showing. "Well, Akiyo Dakoma, suppose my master goal was to come over here and make your droopy self smile. You looked like you could use a friend, be she a serial killer or not." She grinned toothily.

"Heyy, that wasn't all smartassery~" He pouted right back and pecked a kiss at her. "I'll have you know I can be a perfect gentleman, who never cracks the first smartass comment." He paused, grinning. "But~ You alawys do tell me to be myself, so this is who you're stuck with~." He leaned his head around to kiss softly along her neck, letting out a purr on it.

((OOC: This needs an update. I fail for abandoning. XD; ))

She sighed melodramatically, nuzzling at his neck and taking in his warmth in the still of the evening. She clacked her tongue, giving the slightest of headshakes; "honestly, I'm sure the whole town must pity me; I've fallen in love with the town fool." She sighed again, swallowing a giggle.

((OOC: What? An update? Hell froze. ;D

I really wanna pick this back up over your break, if we can. .-. Revive waltz even, start one with Celreyn and Alerianna, or even yahoo or livejournal ones. Just, want to roleplay again. xD' Here preferably for the gold though. XDD ))

She smirked at his masochism denial and winked, sticking out her tongue likewise in a 'sure you're not' sort of way, smirk only increasing at his answer as she arched a brow leaning in with pursed lips. "Oh, ho, ho... Is that so? In charge, huh?" A wicked grin. "So I guess my chains are a bit of a power-threat turn off, huh?" She sat back again, that wicked grin growing increasingly by the second, arms folded and brow still arched as she awaited response. Interesting. Very interesting.

-----

A slight eye roll. "Yes, I was quite hoping to meet someone who might take me home and chop off my man parts for some satanic ritual tonight. I can only hope you fit the bill?" A cocked brow and a sigh, shaking his head out; "anyhow, I'd have to tell you I've got about as many friends as I can handle. Too many sometimes, I think..." there was in fact a trailing off and a pause, noting his only one true 'friend' and the fact most of the time she was too much, but he snapped out of it with a grimace. "Like I told you, I'm the life of the party; Mr Popularity."

((OOC: And got colder still, due to me updating. xD

Mew, sad we didn't get to it over break, but just wanted to update this to make good on my promise to. vv <33 Wanna rp with my koi who I've missed so much. ))

He snickered, folding his arms right back at her, imitating her expression. "Hmm... no, the chains are more of a curiosity than anything. They make me wonder how many men you have chained up in your basement, in collars. Maybe they're the chains from the ones who acted up, to serve as a fashionable warning to the others." He leaned on the bar, snickering to himself.

----

"Oh were you hoping for that~?" She brightened up, starry-eyed. "'Cause lemme tell you, I've got more cleavers in this backpack than I know what to do with." She patted her pack indicatively. A pause, taking in the rest of what he'd said. "Hmh... life of the party, yeah yeah... well guess what, Mr. Popularity. There's a party right over there and I've yet to see you bring too much life to it. Though we both know you were being sarcastic anyway, so what's the point in my saying so?" She leaned back casually against the booth divider, hands behind her head. "But all that being said, I thing you've got 'life of the party' potential, if you'd let yourself try it."
