Vincent sat down on the bed still feeling tired but his thoughts were wandering again. He forced himself to lay down and close his eyes though. He fell asleep easier than he thought considering what he was thinking about.

After the movie ended she laughed "They still think we sleep in those stupid coffins! What idiots!" She said it quietly so she wouldn't wake Vincent. Her and L laughed and laughed about all the flaw's they had in the movie. Then she yawned and hugged him before going back to her room. She looked out the window to the sun and smiled. "Come and go, come and go, make up your mind already." She said to the sun as L came to her door, still tired. He laughed a little "Your one to talk, hun" He said, jokingly because she always came and went from his home. "Good night, L" She said and threw her extra pillow at him. He laughed, threw it back, and went to bed.

Vincent rolled over in his sleep. He was having another nightmare but it was a bit less frightening this time. He was surprised though when he rolled off the bed and landed on the poor with a loud thud. He shook his head slightly to clear his thoughts and then looked around. Nothing looked familiar and it was beginning to freak him out. He backed into a corner slightly, hugging his knees, something he hadn't done in a long time.

She was playing with one of her old stuffed animals on her bed when she heard a thud coming from the guest room. She got up and walked softly to his room. She opened the door a tiny bit and peeked in "Vincent? You okay?" She nearly whispered to him worriedly.

Vincent looked a bit frightened for a moment. "Don't come near me," he snapped. His mind was playing tricks on him at the present moment and he thought the curtains were open, hence the reason he was cowering slightly in the corner.

Her eyes looked hurt and she closed the door without another word. She went back to her room and laid down on her bed, making her old stuffed animals danced on her stomach.

"Ris..." he stopped when the door closed. He sighed slightly and slammed his head against the wall behind him. He was becoming more accustomed to what was real and what wasn't. He stood and walked into the hall way to find Risa. He was shocked though when he felt the sun hit him and he stumbled back into his room, the door being slammed shut behind him.

She looked out in the hall when the door slammed and then started talking to her animals. "He didn't have to slam it at e, I already closed it all the way. He didn't have to be so mean, I was just checking on him. He didn't have to yell at me, I was just trying to cheer him up..." She hugged the broken teddy bear "At least you can never leave me, L." She had names the bear after L, of whom she admired when she was young because he was a free man. She hugged the bear tight and closed her eyes "I know I'll always have a shoulder, however small it may be, to cry on." She whispered to the bear.

Vincent stared at the door a moment convinced that he needed to find her. He went out the door again though this time enduring the pain. "Risa," he called, his voice slightly strained. "I need... to talk to you!"

She stood up, startled by his voice. She walked to her door and saw him in the hall "What are you doing?! Get back in your room before you pass out!" She nearly yelled, more concerned than angry, at him, not caring is L was woken up.

"I wanted to talk to you," he said feeling a bit woozy already. The world seemed to be spinning already as he leaned against the wall. "I'm sorry. I'll go back to the room." He seemed a bit out of it as he staggered back down the hall towards his room. He hadn't gone half way before he collapsed.

She sighed and shook her head back and fourth. Then she went over and pulled him into his room and closed the door. She sighed and cut her palm, letting a drop fall on his pillow to wake him up, then healed it.

Vincent woke when he could smell the blood. He flinched slightly and opened his eyes. He was glad that he was old enough so that he couldn't get severely damaged but he had a bad headache now.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you, I was scared, I had a nightmare," he said frantically upon seeing her. |
Sh half smiled "And I'm sorry you have nightmares." She said it quietly again, in case she'd woken up L with her yelling she didn't want to make him angry by waking him again. "Is that all?"

"I want to tell you something," he said gently as he closed his eyes slightly. "I once loved someone, but it so happened to be that they did not love me. They had tried to kill me on multiple occasions and I often dream about being killed by people I care about. Just so you know, if that ever happens again, I probably think you're there to kill me."

She nodded and stood up "I'm truly sorry about that." She said simply, before slipping out and back into her room. She hugged her L bear and fell asleep.

Vincent nodded slightly as he realized she yet again didn't really get what he was trying to get across. He wasn't surprised though when he fell asleep.

((lolz well I should go to sleep...doesn't mean I'm gonna XD)) She woke up to the moon, just a silver sliver((talk about tounge twisting!)) surrounded by specks that were the stars. She smiled, remembering when she was little she thought the moon fell apart and became the stars every night and that was why it got smaller. She drifted into the living room and turned on the television, keeping the sound very low so she wouldn't wake the others. She found a documentary which she found interesting and drifted in and out of sleep on the couch.

Vincent awoke now with a terrible head ache. He sighed slightly as he wished he had the immunity to the sun. He paused before standing as he tried to recall the previous day. He slid off the bed and walked to the window. Opening the curtains he discovered it was night and the moon was out.

She sighed when the documentary was over and tried to find something else to watch. She found a few cartoons and a romance movie. She decided on the cartoons, she hated romances. She got her L bear and started watching The adventures of bobo the brown bear.((lolz))

Vincent decided to go downstairs now still feeling a bit awkward in the house. He hated how blatant Risa was with L but he had to get used to it. He found her on the couch watching tv and was slightly pleased that he didn't have to go looking for her.

She looked up when she heard someone coming down stairs and waved to Vincent when she saw it was him "Hey, Vincent! Wanna watch TV with me?" She smiled at the cartoon.

"Sure," vincent said coming over and settling himself on the couch next to her. He was a bit more relaxed now that he was used to the house.

She smield and handed him the remote "Nothing's on, just some cartoons and a stupid romance movie..." She scrunched up her nose and stuck out her tounge when she said romance.

"I take it you don't like romance," he said. "There's really nothing wrong with it just not that ushy gushy chick flick stuff where you know what's going to happen. I like the stuff where it's intertwined into a story, such as The Black Dahlia. Saw it while taking care of one of the kids who was old enough to take care of himself."
