She smiled "Well then you have met your goals with me, at least.

Vincent nodded sleepily with a small smile. He was wondering when L was going to get back because he felt like he would lose the connection he had with Risa when he was here.

She smiled "Tired?" She asked, tilting her head a little.

"A little," Vincent admitted. "I can manage through the movie. Besides you brought it up because I couldn't sleep, didn't you?"

"Okay, well I'm glad you'll be able to sleep afterwards." She smiled as the movie started.

Vincent nodded slightly with a smile. He was relaxed and looking forward to the movie.

The front door closed softly followed by L's voice "Ki-WHERE'S THE TV?!" He was running all around the house screaming about his television and she sighed "every time he does this, you'd think he'd get it by now," She held one finger up signaling for Vincent to wait one minuet "I'm sorry, I promise I just have to tell him it's up here," With that she dashed down stairs screaming. She hugged him to make him stop moving "SHUT UP L!" Followed by a laugh "It's in Vincent's room, he can't sleep. Now I'm going back up there to watch a movie with him. Calm down, I'll bring it down later." L took a deep breath and grinned. "Okay hun, just remember, don't finish the apples, that's my breakfast, too." She started back up the stairs. "Wait," L called to her and she stopped and turned "Yes?" L motioned for her to come back. She did as he directed and he grabbed her by the waist, kissing her on the lips which he had never done before. She screamed and pushed him away. The shove scared him and pushed her back as well. She half crawled up the stairs and he was right behind her. She was screaming the whole time and he grabbed her foot, trying to pull her back. She kicked him and ran back up and back into Vincent's room. She slammed the door behind her and leaned against it, bewildered. "I think we ought to go, he can't help up no more." She was still shaking slightly and ready to scream and attack at any moment but it seemed he wasn't following. She swallowed hard and tears escaped her eyes. She collapsed sobbing on his bed.

Vincent flinched when he heard the scream and rose from the bed. He was getting angry and he heard someone stumble. He seemed to be seething with anger at the moment and when he saw her come in he noted the distress on her face. When she collapsed on the bed he sat down next to her placing a hand gently on her back. "Shh.." he said. "It's okay." He wanted to know what happened though and he would kill L if he had to.

She looked up at him. The world was becomming a blur, like it did the day she ran away and killed them all. She didn't want to kill L, she just wanted to get away from him. "I'm gonna go get my stuff to gather. I suggest you do the same thing because we're leaving at nightfall." With that she stood up and wiped her tears away. It didn't help with the blur at all. She went into her room and got her bag and stuffed her L bear in it and a few extra apples. Then she went back to Vincent's room.

Vincent looked at the small amount of things he had and waited for her to return. He needed to know what happened. When she came back he placed both hands on her shoulders gently. "Tell me what happened," he half demanded half requested.

She fliched a little when he held her shoulders. "I...he..kiss..." She couldn't speak. She was dumbfounded by his demand.

Vincent frowned slightly and his hand moved to get the sheathed sword that was propped up against the wall. He stepped into the hallway the door covering the sun. Unsheathing it he looked a bit menacing. Then he stopped himself and backed into the room. "I'll kill that jerk when the time is right," he said in a barely audible voice not caring if she heard him.

She gasped when he said he would kill him. She stepped out into the hall and put a small hand on his should "Please?" Was the one word she spoke, confident he would know what she meant.

"Why not? He's bothered me since the day I met me," he said in protest.

Her hand dropped "You have no idea...how much he means to me...he was the only one there for me my entire life...when I turned around he had my back...he's aways been there and I want to keep it that way..." With that she spun on her heels to face her room and dashed inside, slamming the door almost hard enough to break it, behind her. She jumped on her bed and cried, then screamed out "HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO WILL EVER BE THERE FOR ME!" As if to insult Vincent, like that would stop him.

"Fine! Why don't you go take him in your arms if he's the only one," Vincent snapped back. He was mad now and once the sun was low enough he left the building. He got onto Shadowfax and left. If she cared about him then she would find him in the mountains, if she could remember that far back. He was deep in the forest before glanced back at the house to see if anyone was following him.

She was angry as well that Vincent would threaten to kill L. "I WILL" She growled back. When L heard the door slam and Shadowfax trotting off he looked out to see who was leaving. When he saw it was Vincent he grinned and followed on his horse, Beauty. He had some plans for Vincent and didn't intend to let them be ruined by him running off, but if he didn't go too far, it would be better. Once he saw him he came out of his hiding. He had a sword out and his teeth were easily visible by his evil grin. "Hello, Vincent," He said with intentions other than to greet him. (kill, in case your a pervert)

Vincent turned to see L there and a burning anger revived in himself. He was still angry at Risa for what she had said and knew that he wouldn't forgive her for a while. "Well well well," he remarked snidely. "Isn't it the little pompous brat from earlier?" He moved slightly then realized he had no weapons. He was smart though and using his powers he seemed to change his form slightly. He reached forward and grabbed L by the neck lifting him up slightly.

((You can kill him if you want)) He laughed a deep menacing laugh, as if to challenge Vincent to kill him the slashed Vincent's arm with his sword.

Vincent narrowed his eyes slightly when he slashed at his arm. It was nothing though and he healed it fairly easily. "You think you can injure me with a petty weapon," he hissed. He had a wild grin on his face as he leaned forward and sunk his teeth into the man's neck.

She shoved Vincent away with one hand laughing like a maniac. "You think you can hurt me with you petty teeth?!HA!" Then he pulled out a silver tipped arrow. Risa had heard this whole fight and she had finally had enough. She raced down the trail and tackled L, biting him with silver tipped teeth. She picked herself up after L's screaming stopped. He was dead and not faking. She started sobbing on her dead friend.

Vincent looked frightened for a moment and then he saw him fall to the ground. He growled slightly and then turned the horse. "If you're so upset then why didn't you just let him kill me. Wasn't that the purpose of you telling him that I was susceptible to the sun and silver?" He didn't wait for an answer but instead urged the horse forward at a galloping speed.

She looked up and watched him run off. After a minuet she ran after him, still sobbing.

Vincent had gone into a deep brush where it would be nearly impossible to find him. The horse made its way slowly up the hillside and when he reached the familiar small hut he climbed down and brought the horse behind the hut to a small stable and then knocked on the door. A stout woman came to the door and greeted him with a warm hug. She brought him in and immediately forced him to sit down on a chair. "Now Vincent," she said. "You need to be careful, you could have been injured out there!"

Once she lost all sight of him and fell back on hjer knees "COWARD!" She yelled in the direction he dissapeared "I KNEW YOU'D WALK OUT ON ME! YOU'RE WORSE THAN THE GROUND YOU WALK ON! MAKING ME KILL HIM LIKE THAT! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE! I WISH I'D OF KILLED YOU YOU WORM!" She screamed furiously to the tree's. "I HOPE YOU DIE SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY!"
