She thought for a moment "You're just too serious all the time. You need to learn to laugh." She said quietly, "Vivere per ridere e ridere per vivere..." She added with a smile "Live to laugh and laugh to live, that's what I always say." She said with a grin.
"Well then I'll try to laugh more," he said. "It's hard when there isn't anything to laugh at though." He had been laughing before but that's because he was being tackle by a swarm of animals.
She laughed "You just have to look for them." She said, smiling for a moment and bouncing away to finish reading the mysterious book she had grown so attached to.
He seemed perplexed when she told him that. The animals had crawled back to him and were curled up on the bed. He was not confused but rather amused.
She yawned and got up. She first went to her bag and got her tooth brush, then she shuffled into the bathroom and began getting ready for bed. When she was finished, she went to Vincent's room and stuck her head in a bit. With a little, meaningless smile, she said "Night, Vincent," Then she turned around and headed back to the small couch she had to fight to sleep on with a tired smile.
Vincent curled up after she left, a few animals curled up next to him. He wasn't interested in preparing for bed but rather just wanted to deal with what was going on in an easy manner.
She snuggled into her warm, wool blanket and closed her eyes. She felt herself drifting off into the land of her mind soon after, and was thankful for the escape.
Vincent awoke earlier the next morning and now he was out feeding the horses some stuff that they would prefer over plain grass. He'd have to be watching them today because there was the danger of wolves in the area. Since he had more animal senses now it may be an increased danger.
Risa woke up mid-morning and shuffled sleepily into the kitchen, looking for something to eat. She settled for a fruit bar of some sort but was too tired to figure out exactly what it was. She eventually made her way outside to find Vincent and smiled sleepily at him "Hey..." She mumbled when she got closer to him "What 'cha up to?" She continued, trying to wake up.
"Taking care of the horses," he said a bit shocked that she actually had to ask the question. He'd given her a short glance before refocusing on what he was doing.
She smiled a little "Oh...I'm gonna go look for Bennyjamen then..." She said sleepily, walking back inside. When she got in she caleld for Benjamen but she didn't hear an answer, so she went back outside and called his name again. He came around from the back of the house and she smiled "There he is..." She said looking at a bird and pointing to Benjamen "I found you" She said with a grin.
"She's tired," Vincent said bluntly. "Maybe someone should slap her and see what happens. Maybe she'll actually look at the right things."
She glared at Vincent. "Maybe someone should slap you." She shot back angrily, and then walked hastily into the forest, ignoring the traps that were pulling her mentally to follow them. She ran into a few werewolves on her way to no where and growled at them with a horrid look on her face, showing her teeth, which usually scared them away.
"It was a joke," he said helplessly. He went after her quickly to catch up so that she wouldn't get taken for the trap. He was scared that she would get hurt.
She heard Vincent talking and go into the woods but she ignored him. Soon she came out of the woods and found a little road. She grinned a little, but turned back in spite of her want to stay away, she didn't want Benjamen to worry. When she had left, Benjamen grunted and went inside, picking up the book she had been reading and started reading it himself, not worrying about her at all, and ignoring Vincent's answer.
"I'm sorry," Vincent said with an apologetic expression. "You were really tired and I was I'm sorry." He looked desperate to get her to understand what he meant.
She saw Vincent talking to her but ignored him. She continued to walk until she got closer to him, then glared, stuck her tongue out, and ran away laughing. Now that she wasn't angry anymore, she could feel the traps pulling on her, mentally speaking, harder and tried to ignore them, but the harder she tried, the harder they pulled.
Vincent bolted after her and a few wolves followed in pursuit. "Be careful Risa," he yelled. He was watching the traps as they passed by him, sweeping in Risa's direction. A wolf bore down on one and there was a strange like noise that resembled a howl though it was full of so much pain that Vincent nearly stopped when he heard it.
She looked back with emotionless eyes at the wolf, and tilted her head slightly, as she usually did when things amused or puzzled her. "So that's what happens..." She said quietly to herself, the laughed a little and stopped for Vincent.
"Oh no that wolf was attacking the trap," Vincent explained when he caught up. A few other wolves and come also and were snarling at the traps, creating a circle around the two. It was exactly how Vincent was feeling at the present moment but he had no weapons on him at the present moment.
She turned back to the way she was headed and quietly said "Lets go." Completely ignoring the wolves in pain, trying to ignore the lure of the traps as well.
The only wolf that was in pain at the moment was the one that had attacked the trap. He began to hum something his mother had taught him when she was alive. It calmed him down and made it so he concentrate more easily.
She looked at him in shock, she had never heard him hum or sing or make any kind of music. "Oh Vincent, your singing voice is so beautiful! Why don't you sing or hum or whatever more often?" She was shaken out of her emotionless daze by his song but still ignored the traps.
He was shocked by her comment and it had distracted him for a moment. "I get embarrassed easily and it was banned where I was before," he said after a moment. He went back to humming after that.
She frowned a little when he told her it was banned. "Oh, I'm sorry..." She said quietly "Would you like to hurry home? It's getting hot..." She said, pushing back her hair out of her face.
