((I know, since it was the bad guys' horse I thought it should have a bad guy's name ^-^)) She smiled and clicked her tounge so the horses trotted along "You look tired...you need to get some sleep." She said, a little concerned, to Vincent.

Vincent nodded slightly in agreement. He needed rest so that he could think more rationally. "I just get this way when people get a concussion and then start yelling at me because they think I'm trying to injure them and then put an arrow in my face that wouldn't even kill me in the first place," he said closing his eyes slightly but clutching onto the horse.

Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped slightly "I-i'm sorry...I...the last thing I remember is running away from a man and going to a forest then pretty much nothing untill about now. When I get like that it also blurrs my cvision and I'm always paranoid about..well about pretty much everything but when I woke up, with a bloody head on an unfarmilliar horse with someone I didn't recignise I freaked. Sorry." She laughed a little as the horses trotted on to the next town.

"Now you know why I almost left," Vincent said shortly not really wanting to say anything else. He was quiet for a moment and then let a small sigh escape his lips.

She sighed "Sorry I'll try not to go crazy anymore..." She looked ahead a little ways to see the town and sighed in relief "Finally, we're here!" She exclaimed, pointing to the town.

Vincent had fallen asleep by then and was beginning to sleep off the horse, his grip having loosened in his sleep. He did not response to her comment and instead fell off the horse and awoke with a start.

She stopped the horses quickly and frightened "OH!" She nearly screamed when he fell. She hopped off Sephiroth And ran back to him "Are you okay? Whats wrong?!" She demanded, trying to wake him up. "WAKE UP!" She yelled in his face, shaking his arm a little.

"I am awake," he snapped grumbling slightly. He shifted finding that he was sore in many places despite the fact he was a vampire. He shook his head feeling rather upset now.
He couldn't stand at the present moment because he felt rather dizzy. Things felt like they were spinning even though he knew they weren't. He gripped onto Shadowfax's leg who had stopped when he had fallen. He blinked twice and once again tried to stand but was overcome by another dizzy spell and was forced to sit down. |
"Uhhh...I think you need to sleep...like now..." With that she picked him up and put him on shadowfax and walked the horses - who eagerly followed - to the hotel in the next town. She put them in the barn and checked in. When she found the room, she pulled Vincent back off the horse and carried him on her back to the bed, lieing him there then turning to the tlevision untill he woke up.

Vincent stirred and found himself awake in a hotel with the tv turned on. He blinked as he sat up slightly confused. How had he gotten here? He looked over at her for a moment and then remembered everything.
"Why the hell did you kick me in the back of the head," he asked feeling the pounding head ache once more. |
She looked back at him and brushed her bangd out of her eyes with her fingers "Good morning sunshine!" She said sarcastically "Don't blame me okay I was just trying to get away from that guy shooting at us! Would you rather have a dead horse or one of us dead? I don't think so." She rolle dher eyes and turned back to the television.

"I'm sorry," Vincent said remembering how she had treated him. "I'm just a surprisingly overly sensitive guy who needs to get a grip on life."
He looked frustrated as he closed his eyes. He could remember being yelled at for crying and he twitched slightly as he could remember what the punishment had been like. Five lashes felt more like twenty to him at the time. He shook his head slightly wishing that he could do something. |
"You have a grip on life, you just need a better one!" She concluded happily, trying to stay on the bright side "You want some ice for that lump?" She asked, looked back at his head where she aparently kicked him. It was swollen now to a pretty big size and she didn't want to admit it but she was proud of herself for making one that big.

"Ice would be nice," he said a bit miserable. "I'm feeling a bit ill right now and don't feel like moving." He was a bit ill and he was worried he had a concussion from that and including the fall he took off the horse, which he barely remembered, it might add to that. His stomach had a cramp in it at the present moment and he felt exhausted.

She smiled and stood up "Okay, I'll be right back." She talked softer than usual, so he wouldn't get a head ache. She went outside and got some ice from the macine and came back. She found a small towel in the bathroom (DERP) and wrapped some ice in that. She walked softly over to the bed and hande dit to him "Here you go." She said quietly then wlaked back into the bathroom "I'm taking a shower, I'm a mess." She called out before closing the door.

Vincent took the ice and placed it behind his head. It was cold and sent a shiver up his spine. He nodded to her statement and then crawled under the covers so that he could sleep better. He was only taking up half the bed at the present moment and didn't intend on moving at all. He closed his eyes hoping that he could sleep but his mind was racing. He was worried that he'd look like an idiot with a lump on his head. He felt it for a moment and then moved his hand. the ice would at least make the swelling go down, which was to his advantage.

When she came out ehr hair was dripping because she didn't even try to dry her hair with the cut on it, she didn't want the stinging to come back. She sat on the couch and turned off the television, which she had left running. She took a spare pillow from the closet and laid down on the couch, softly humming an old lulliby that she used to hum to herself to get to sleep as a child. Soon she felt ehrself sliping away to the wondourous of horific dreamland then she was asleep for the night.

An anxiety ridden mind is no mind to sleep on. It was what his mother had told him once and he had tried to to be anxious from that point forward. It didn't work though, life wasn't that simple. At the present moment Vincent felt a bit useless but the swelling had decreased some, which pleased him for the most part. He looked over at his companion and noticed that she was sleeping. A fit of jealousy over came him and he wished that he could sleep that easily.
He closed his eyes in attempt again but did not find sleep. Rather he found a waking nightmare presented before his eyes in the form of a ceiling. |
Like always, she dreampt of running, through a beautiful forest this time, and she was laughing. She didn't understand why it had changed so aburptly from horrific to wonderful but she didn't really care. She didn't want it to ever end. Like always, she rolled off the couch, but this time she woke up, and moaned at the loos of her first happy dream. She lat up, rubbing her head, and saw Vincent staring at the ceiling "Why is it you can't sleep at night but in the day your so tired you fall off your horse?" She asked softly over to him, laughing a little.

"You didn't notice how careful I was in the light and how I always stayed to the shade?" he asked sitting up and averting his eyes from the ceiling.
He couldn't believe her not knowing what he was. He wondered for a moment why she even trusted him now. He wasn't thirsty at the moment though which meant he was also not hungry. "I used to sleep during the day and now you're throwing off my schedule," he snapped shortly after and laid back down. |
She turned her nose up away from him like a rich snob "HMP!" She said loudly. "Well fine then let's travel at night!" She nearly yelled this, angry he snapped at her because she was just asking a simple question. She gathered up her things and stomped out, slamming the door violently behiind her she checked out and got the horses. Then she went back to the room and started yelling again "I checked out GET UP AND GO!" She yelled right in his ear, just to make him mad.

Vincent arched an eyebrow at how she was reacting to what he had said. He couldn't help snapping since he had a headache still and the ice was beginning to melt so that it sent chills down his back.
When she came back though he had closed his eyes again though he was not sleeping. He was a bit taken by surprise when she nearly yelled in his ear. He winced slightly as his head ache increased. He held his head for a brief moment and then got up. If she wanted to travel by night just because he snapped at her, then so be it. He was readjusting himself now so that he would be able to see clearly. He had become accustomed to the light in recent days and the idea of darkness was pleasant. He said nothing as he walked out in front of her and found shadowfax. |
She threw an ice cure at his head and hit him. Then she giggled out of his hearing range. She trotted back to Cloud and Sephiroth, who were eagerly awaiting her. She got on Sephiroth and clicked her tounge twice to make them run, but not quite gallop. Cloud was leading them all so she let og of Sephiroth and closed her eyes, softly humming the song once again to herself and concentrating on the breeze dancing across her face and through her hair.

Vincent was slightly taken by surprise when he heard her giggle. He frowned slightly though he had felt something and his head ache seemed to dissipate. He was watching cloud lead them for the present moment with the utmost curiosity. He had his eyes on her though, making sure that she wouldn't do anything rash, such as shoot him.

(HAHAHA!Better sleep with one eye open today!) When she opened her eyes she was surprised at how far they'd gone, even though she knew they were running. She watched the moon, following them the whole way, friend or foe, it was there. She smiled to the stars and they returned the favor, in their own odd way. She was humming the luluby a little louder now, too into the night sky to rember to keep it down.She hummed on, starring at the wondourous stars and moon "Hmm hmm hmhmhm..."
