He sighed "Perhaps you're right... i really havent done anything to make you believe this isnt some kind of trick" He picked up the sword and swung it slowly, seperating the two elements before tossing hers on the bed. "I was actually thinking about changing sides... i'm tired of working for the dark ones, they pay relatively poorly and they are far too rough on the help." He scattered his sword to the wind as he eliminated the furniture as well. "Besides, with that girl they've just about won it all, and if thats the case we're all damned anyway..."

"I'm not sure how your side feels about mercenaries... but to be honest i'm alittle too worried about staring with marilith and her goons. That girl i brought in is not going to make things easier for any of us..." He looked truly concerned as his demonic image faded away, he still looked the same for the most part but his eyes were softer and the wings on his head and the tail faded away as well. "you're good, i know that... but i dont know if you'll be enough to help me fix this mess i've made..."

"My father was right... i am a damn reckless fool..." He chuckled abit and sighed sadly "If you could, contact whoever it is you work for... tell them we're all in grave danger" He walked towards the waterfall and looked back to her "If you decide to speak with me i'll be waiting in the old church on deacon street" He stepped into the water and vanished before her eyes, leaving her in peace.

I watched with curiosity as he made my sword back to normal and threw it aside.
"Changing sides? A demon cant change sides.." I watched the particles of his sword disintegrate and the furniture disappear with the breeze. I... couldnt take my eyes from him as he spoke; he seemed so much more diffrent than yesterday, and I almost fell over when he made the wings and tail vanish.
"You... arent a demon, are you...?" I asked, walking up to him.
"What mess are you talking about? What was it about that girl? Why are you so worried?" I rubbed my eyes as he walked out.
"Yeah..."

I used my powers to summon my Master, within minutes, a glow and the parting of the falls he entered my cave.
"Hello my dear.." he said, bowing to me.
"Sir, I failed on my mission, the demon I fought was just too strong, but I found out-" He pressed his index finger to my lips and leaned in close to me.
"Ari... you look so beautiful this day... but I must ask, what is with the aura in this cave?"

"Sir, thats what Ive been trying to tell you, a guy disguised as a demon faught me yesterday and now he tells me the girl i was supposed to sleigh will cause toruble. He... wants to join our side..."

He quirked an eyebrow in disbelief.
"Youre kidding right? He worked for the dark ones, he shall never be on the angelic side...ever."
I pleaded.
"But sir, he knows where Marilith's lair is! And thats probably where the damned one is being kept!"

"You talk too much.." he said, leaning in and kissing me deeply.
My legs...felt like jell-o as his lips pressed to mine, I closed my eyes.

He needed to think... This was the only place he knew how. He stepped into the church on deacon street, it had been abandoned for some time but it still held all the radiance of a grand house of worship. The decor was primarily christian but the children of halaron could see it for what it was, with its subtle tapestries and symbols all around the area. It was a clever disguise and the followers who occupied it had long since given up the faith. He was stronger here and felt more focused "I'm in deep trouble..." He sighed as he sat on the large chair at the head of the church which was reserved for priests "...we're all in deep trouble. I just hope she shows..."

In mariliths lair things were very quiet, the girl had been initiated into the dark army and her power became abit more clear as she killed half the demons in the bar and absorbed their power into herself. Marilith grinned, who needed the little god... she had a full fledged force of reality on her side.

He pulled away softly and looked deep into my eyes.
"My dear, i think you are looking too much into this demon.."
"Sir, he had a look in his eyes, like he wouldnt lie to me! Why do you think he betrayed his side to come tell me about the damned one, and wants to join our side to fight her?"
He raised his voice.
"Because Ariana, you are naiieve and would believe anything he would say because youre heart is too kind! That, my dear, will the cause of your death some day." He turned away from me swiftly.
"I hope not to hear about this demon again. Dont talk to him, or I will come down myself and send him back where he belongs. Ill send your next mission in a few days. relax for a while, and think about what just happened.." He parted the falls and vanished and I fell to my knees.
"Dammit.." I muttered, looking around.
"I have to talk to him again.." I jumped up and pulled on the armor I had left and arm gauntlets and flew out the fall quickly and headed towards the church in a heated flight.

He continued to wait, Looking to the walls and ceiling as he ran his fingers through his hair. "I dont know if we can actually put an end to this threat that i let slip through my fingers... I know i cant let it go... this whole place used to be just a vacation spot but its grown on me" He was talking to no one in particular, but he knew his family could always hear him in this place. they were all able to hear each other through these temples placed throughout various worlds.

Tyler thought about that angel again and he sighed, she was magnificent... he shook his head quickly before he wound up stuck in a steamy day dream. he didnt have time for that... there was a world to save

I landed on the roof of the beaten down church, it creaked heavily with every step. Finding an opening in the roof, I peeked in and jumped down and landed on the ground and looked around for any sign of life.
The aura in this church was flooded with darkness; I didnt like the chills it sent up my spine.
"H-helo?" I said, withdrawing my sword from my body, just in case it were a trap like Michael had said. My voice cracked and echoed in the large room; images of Jesus and his deciples[sp?] on stained-glass windows were an eerie reminder that He, along with other archs, were watching all my actions...
I was sweating bullets... I hoped my intuition on the demon was right, and that he did want to help the good side.I hated being wrong, especially in Michaels eyes.

He got off of his throne and stepped out of the darkness into her sight "I'm glad you decided to come... and i can already see you're uncomfortable" He smiled abit "You have nothing to fear here... this is a temple of joint ownership, Your lord and master and my father... who art not here right now, wish he was though..." He sighed and looked her over again "...or even my mother, she was human. I'm sorry you couldnt meet her"

He sighed abit, realizing he was about to start rambling he stopped and went back to his throne, the candles all lit up and the inside of the church could be seen. it was beautiful despite the age and disrepair of the place "I need your help... you're stronger than they let you realize and honestly i've been on the other side so long your bosses would never listen to me" He sat back down on the ornate chair and offered her the chair next to him "...i'm willing to give you that power, i just need you to back me up... I'm so desperate i even called my cousin Solan... He's like you and he hates me like you do... But unlike the angels you work for he realizes that hell is about to come to town"

My eyes seemed to dance over his figure that came into my view as he stepped out into the light. My muscles tensed as he smiled that...warm smile. My eyes widened at what he had said, his soft words of his parents was incredible... most demons would have sleighed their own parents or spited them by now in their life, especially at his age.
"Y-Your mother was human??" I said softly, barely audible. That explained his human-like features, and why they were so dominant in his looks.

I watched him closely as he took his seat again in the large chair that seemed out of place in this run-down church. He most likely created it with his magic for himself.

"Me? Strong? Youre funny... Im not as strong as the others... Michael either sent me down here to train me to be stronger by fighting demons, or just get killed by them so the burden of me as his apprentice is off his hands..." I kept my sword drawn and walked up beside him and sat down beside him in my own chair. I looked at his delicate features... his eyes were so alluring and hair like silk. Almost angelic-like.

"yeah... my mom was human. Father was a fire god from one of the ancient realms...theres more than one god in this world, despite what the individual books tell us. some of them sleep, some of them still have followers so they still exist here. My family only comes here for recreation because the management here is so stiff" He relaxed in the chair "For example, did you know hercules and most of the olympian gods of ancient greece still reside in this world?"

He then looked to the hole in the ceiling "But there are other things in this world... ancient forces of chaos that go from world to world feeding and destroying to make themselves stronger. Thats where this girl came from, she had me fooled until you showed up... we both know its not possible for one person to show up as both pure and profane to such extreme degrees at the same time. Thats when i figured her out..." He reached over and touched her hand "...if i had turned her over to you all of your friends in the land of milk and honey would be dead... as it stands now marilith and all her goons are wiped out"

As he continued to speak a shadow swooped into the hole and landed silently in the center aisle. it rose somehow almost completly invisible. A set of huge feathered wings spread out from the body as he stood watching them like a ghost in the back of the church

I nodded as he spoke of other worlds. They were rumored in heaven to have existed, but noone really knew for sure. I shook my head when asked about the Olympians.

I watched him intently, getting lost in his illusion of words that seemed to spin around the thoughts in my mind... my focus was interrupted when his warm hand touched mine. I blushed, looking down at out joined hands then back up at him; I tensed, and pulled my hand from his and to my breast. My eyes widened.
"M..Marilith's lair is destroyed?" I said, on unsteady words.
I felt the odd presence behind me and jumped out of my seat and made my fighting stance. My feathers ruffled, I set my bitter stare on the wings appearing in the back of the church. I clutched my heavenly sword in sweaty hands; heart racing, I spread my feet apart and readied for a fight.

The new form was beautiful... a young man with flowing golden hair, a spectacular suit of white and gold armor. his skin was like porcelain and his eyes were but golden orbs in his head, he radiated a divine presence that was even greater than the highest archangels. "Did you summon me here to have your woman try to take my life cousin?"

Tyler shook his head and stood next to amber "Relax... this is my cousin solan, long ago our god of war stole an angel from the heavens and forced her to bear him a son... This is what that child became"

Solan raised his fist and a blade of light emerged from his wrist, sticking out several inches from his hand. the blade itself had no substance, it was the energy of heaven itself "Yes little one... i am not your enemy..."

My eyes almost fell out of my head looking over this spectacular form. His looks practically surpassed Lord Michaels himself... it was simply amazing. I couldnt help but stare.
"H-Hits woman?" I stuttered and stomped forward Angrily.
"I AM NOT HIS WOMAN!" I screamed at him, sending a glare to Tylers way.

I heard his story of how he came to be and I shook my head.
"So in other words, his father raped an angel..? Pathetic demons..." I groaned, withdrawing my sword back into my body. I saw his sword and knew I had no chance.

"'Little one?' I am 21 Heaven years old! im not a little one, you bastard." I whipped, folding my arms over my breast, I relaxed my ruffled feathers and looked away.
"So now what, whats the plan?"

"Demons..? Are you insane? We're no demons, theres so many things in this world beyond angels and demons and your one true god and his big red horn headed adversary... We're gods..." Tyler looked very serious about this point "...its getting alittle tiresome being called a demon all the time"

Solan nodded "I'm no happier with my past than you are dear angel but we're not here to debate all the many reasons i shouldn't exist" The angelic one was firm in his tone of voice but it was so comforting, it was like talking to god himself. "I am here because my fool-hearty cousin has unleashed a great evil in this world and we three are apparently the only ones who can stop it"

Meanwhile in what used to be mariliths lair the balance of power has fallen over and been turned to rubble. The humble building that served as the hub of demon activity for this city was in ruins and all that was left was a girl who barely looked human. Her skin had turned to scales and she was more serpentine than anything else. mariliths corpse was among the ruins as well as most of the heavy hitting demons of the city. She laughed into the empty night sky and the clouds rolled in. Deep black clouds that made the sky black as pitch... a hard blood red rain began and winds as hot as hell raced over the city.

"It has began i fear..." Tyler said in a whisper as he looked to the angel "...i can make you stronger but you'll have to take it willingly... this thing is getting stronger by absorbing the evil from the demons... if you two angels can blast her back to a human form with good then i'll be able to take her out once and for all..."

I sighed.
"Fine, whatever you two are... youre definitely not Gods, I can tell you that" I said, folding my arms and leaning my weight on one foot.

I looked to the angel and sighed.[Id love to see a pic of this one he sounds hot!] "How in the world can I stop it? Im only a messenger, im not an angelic warrior! I only have some skill, im no match for anything as powerful as her, if she destroyed Marilith so easily."

I looked to Tyler as he whispered something.
"Hm?" I said, leaning closer to him.
"How can I trust you guys? How do I know this isnt all a trick for you two to kill me, or take me hostage, or rape me.. or..." I thought of all the visions he had flashed though my mind the day before... to me, they were his desires... and my heart raced.
"No, I wont do it. I'm already defying my Master, I shouldnt be here..." I turned away from them, looking to the floor.
"Theres nothing I can do. If the angelic one would like to come with me to Heaven, I may be able to calm Michael down enough for him to speak with you about the matter, maybe he can help gather an Angelic Squadron of Warriors to earth to help in this battle."

Tyler sighed and sat back down "I just dont know if we've got time for that..." Solan nodded and sighed as well...

"Very well little one... we will go and speak to your masters, Although if he denies our plea for assistance i will be returning here to destroy the beast myself... cousin, you will go and find more of our kind so we will have more reinforcments to fall back on" Tyler nodded and opened a portal, it went someplace other than earth and as soon as he walked through his power spiked. He became a great phoenix and flew into the air as the portal closed, leaving arianna and solan together in the church.

I looked to Solan and nodded and looked out the dark windows; it was now night time and I hoped not toolate to burst in on Michael.
"Come, follow me." I said, blushing, looking over my shoulder at him. For being a 'fake' angel, he sure had the looks.
I flew upwards with a jump off the ground up to the hole I had come though and out into the night sky; it shimmered with the lights of the heavens as I said my chant to open the portal to Heaven as I continued to fly upward.
"Noga tagatu nefi SHIMI!" I said, making hand motions and the portal opened in a flash of light. I looked back to the angel following me.
"C;mon, it only stays open for 15 seconds!!" I yelled back to him, and flew up into the portal.

He flew after her quickly, his wings creating a massive rush of air as he hurried through the portal. He looked around the place where they wound up and he let out a sigh "Its very beautiful here..."

I looked over at him and smiled, landing on the misty floor in front of the gates of Heaven.
"I know... too bad Im not here enough to enjoy it..." I chuckled, summoning a flute from the inside of my body.
"Look your best, Im summoning him."
I closed my eyes and brought the gold flute to my lips and blew a chiming note.

A flurry of feathers appeared and swirled about 6 feet away form me. I stepped in front of the demon, and spread my wings, to hide his from, so Michael didnt get the wrong idea of him following me here, or something.

He finally formed, a flurry of feathers floted around him and he seemed to glow.
"Hello my sweet." He said, walking up to me. His towering form was intimidating, and I started to sweat. I would have bowed, but I wanted to keep Solan behind me, for his safety.
"I feel an odd presence here... what are you hiding, Ari?" I smiled at him meekly.

As soon as he asked the question a large golden sword gently brushed her wing aside, not hurting her just making sure it didnt block his view. He stared into the archangels eyes and slid the massive and obviously powerful sword onto his back were it seemed to hang due to some kind of magic. "She is attempting to introduce me discreetly... I am Solan, Son of lillith, one of the highest angels of her world. I have come on behalf of my cousin who has been quite improperly labeled as a demon... We seek the aid of this heaven to destroy a being of chaos that is fast becoming too evil and powerful to control..."

I moved my wings aside, then finally myself and I looked to the both of them worried; I had a harsh feeling in the air; a feeling they would start quarreling at any moment.
Michael towered over Solan about 6 inches as he looked down at him, quirking an eyebrow, walking up to him to be about 12 inches from him.
"You are a half blood." He said simply.
"You are not welcome here. I, nor will any other angels in heaven will fall into your trap, I will not allow it. Now please, leave, before you are forced to leave."
I took a grip of his arm and looked up into his eyes.
"Lord, please, he and his sibling wish to help us! A massive evil is erupting on Earth and---" before I could even finish, I was slapped hard across the mouth, stunned, I stepped back, some blood trickling from the corner of my mouth. My eyes teared up and I instantly fell to my knees.
"Forgive me my Lord." I cracked out though my low voice.
He glared down at me.
"I cannot believe you have been deceived by such pathetic being, Ariana. You should know better not to side with half breeds or any other kind than Angels."
I sniffed.

Solans anger flared and in a sudden rush of unexpected power he slashed out and removed the offending hand from the larger angel. His voice grew deeper and more intimidating as he stepped forward, power was surging out of him now as he started to glow like the sun an aura of power that strong could belong to either side, but there was nothing in it but purity and virtue... it was like being in the presence of god herself "Insolent old fool, how DARE you raise a hand against a woman... especially a woman you know you overpower, For that arrogance i claim that hand as my own... we will win this battle without you, sniveling wretch..." He was beginning to draw alot of attention and before much more could be done he scooped up the severed hand and walked out through a portal of his own making "Its your choice little one, stay here with this pathetic wretch or return to do the work that needs be done..." Solan stepped through the portal, still glowing brightly and seemingly vibrating with power. If she had doubted his godhood it would be hard to continue that behavior.

Tyler meanwhile had in fact convinced some of his cousins to join them, while hardly virtuous they would definately serve as a fitting distraction until the two angels could make their bid at bringing down the chaos child.

I gasped as my masters hand was severed form his body. It bled profusely, but he showed no emotion as it bled and throbbed, staining the clouds below his feet.
I looked though my dangling hair as Solan left; I heard what he had said, but wasn't sure if I should defy heaven or not. The silence was broken.
"Go to him. I feel the passion in your heart, Ari."
I whipped my head up at him as he waved his left hand, recreating and forming his right, and he flexed his fingers. He looked down at me.
"You want to defy me so much, so go. Be the hero you can never be. Ill take this until you return." He took a tight grip of my forehead and withdrew my halo and absorbed it into his body. My wings turned charcoal gray without my angelic powers and I looked to him.
"Sir..."
He turned around.
"Go. The only power you have left is your barrier and your weapon. Return when youve gained some sense."
My eyes were filled with tears as my fellow angels stared me down. They were disgusted that I would bring such a creature to holy grounds, and not even defend my master as he sliced off one of his limbs.
I walked out of the portal slowly, tears running down my soft cheeks. These charcoal feathers meant I was shunned from returning to heaven, unless Michael met with me and returned my halo.

I parachuted towards earth; I didn't know where to go, or what to do. I simply headed for my cave.
I didn't even bother to evade the water as if fell from above as I walked into my now permanent home. My head and eyes were low; I was overcome with overwhelming despair, I could barely breathe with the lump in my throat. The blood stained my cheek and chin from my Lords hard slap; it was a good reminder of how I had defied him. I only stared at my reflection n the caves water. I was at a loss of words.

As she sat watching the pool the water turned orange and then began to burn. As the flames rose a man stepped out of them, he looked very much like tyler but older and more seasoned. "Good day miss... I'm sorry to burst in on you like this. I saw what happened up there... My name is david. I'm tylers father and the god of all in the realm of halaron... I came here to speak with you and apologize for my son and what he's done. I promise you i will clear things up with your angelic brethren... micheal may be the biggest hard ass in the universe but even he takes orders" The man smiled at her and sighed "i'm sorry, rambling on like an old fool at a family reunion... Is there anything you'd like to ask me?"

My eyes widened as the water turned orange and I looked up into the brown eyes of an older Tyler look-alike. I couldn't help but blush.
"Uhm, hello.. I said in a raspy voice.
My eyes met with his.
"Tylers father? That explains why you look so much like him..and please, dont bother about talking to Michael, is as stubborn as a mule, and he wont ever change... you visiting him will only make it worse..." I sighed, lifting myself out of the water and I looked up at him and put my hand in his and shook it lightly.
"Forgive my rudeness, I'm Ari. Iva had alot on my mind lately since my first encounter with your son... he beat the hell outta me in our first meeting and the images he ran though my mind are still haunting me... I'm finding it hard to trust him and the others like him because of the images he made me see... images f him doing lustful acts and haneous crimes... it makes my heart burn with the rage of the Heavens... and I dont even want to become a part of what he has done, or what he plans to do. Your only as good as the company you keep..." I scratched my arm and looked to the floor, my gray feathers twitching a bit.
"Your kind... are very handsome... even more so than most angels Ive seen..." I said, still looking at the ground, blushing.

He chuckled softly in the way only a father could when speaking to a child that just said something remarkably cute "I'd never bother speaking with michael sweet girl, I never go through the middle management level... I'll speak to the one in charge."

He sighed alittle "my son... his heart is good, he just has alot of growing up to do. Him being a young boy of only five thousand years, in my youth i was very much like him. A young god who got very used to having everything in the world he wanted, women, war, power... I trust that he will come out of it. This battle to come will be very hard on you all but i know you'll manage. This may be the point of tylers life where it all turns around, but he will need your help and since your very stubborn friend decided to rob you of your power i will have to fix the situation" He reached out and put a hand over her heart, suddenly she was filled with energy. He used his own power to restore her and more, making her as strong as michael himself "you can keep that light arianna... it belonged to solans mother, a seraphim angel of the highest choir. She'd want you to keep it for her." He looked to her as her wings turned a silvery color that almost made them look to be made of pure light. He kissed her on the cheek and gave her a tight hug "Thank you for your kind words young one... if you do decide to aid my family in this struggle you'll find them back at the old church..."
