Nisa smiled faintly when Naio put her hand on her shoulder. "That little brat will be gone tomorrow night. As long as I make sure she gets in the taxi that is set to pick her up..." She sighed, knowing that thought shouldve made her feel better but it didn't. Her sister Miyo had already ruined her mood.
Jiro smiled and moved his head closer to her neck, he kissed lightly from her shoulder until he reached the nape of her neck. He pulled away for a second, licking his lips slightly. He hesitated to bite her whereas ordinarily he'd have done that already. He whispered in her ear again as he ran his fingers gently down the other side of her face, to her shoulder and pressed her against the wall again. "You smell absolutely wonderful..." |
"Well maybe then Cain will come near you again
I swear hes such a baby about the blood thing..." She said speeking of this week when Cain had found it to hard to be around both of them at the same time yet alone that girls attitude. She stood there and revled in the feel of his lips on her neck she felt like she was on could nine. As he pressed her harder on the wall she blushed harder. She heard about guys like him but she didn't mind. "Thank you...Jiro-kun..."She said and smield urning her head to gently kiss what little expsoed neck he had. |
Nisa's smile faded quickly when Naio brought up Cain and the fact he'd been avoiding her. Her gaze lowered to table and she sighed softly. "I wish there was a way for him to get over that... I hate not being able to see him, his eyes and smile..." She mumbled not realizing she was announcing loud and clear that her feelings for him had grown a little more.
He didn't react when Miyo kissed his neck, he knew that feeling all too well to show anything. He started to kiss her again, moving the same as he had before from her shoulder to her neck. He stopped and licked her neck for a mere second, her blood teasing him so badly that his eyes started to get bright red like the night when he nearly got Nisa. He tightened his grip on her shoulder just before opening his mouth, baring his pearly white fangs and pressed them slowly into her skin. His eyes only shone brighter when her blood flooded into his mouth. |
Naio smirked hearing that and raised a brow
"His eyes hmm?" She asked and flicked some of her hair behind her ear. She knew her feelings she couldn't hide it when she sighed most of the time any more. Miyo Felt the other lick her neck it sending termmers up her spine from the feeling yet what she did not see coming was his fangs perching her skin. Her eyes grew wide and she tried to yelled yet nothing came. She was scared at first but then she started to relax the feeling of blood flow seeming to cut off any remaining blood that was going to her brain... |
Nisa looked up from the table and stared at Niao, her cheeks now bright red. "...Did I say that out loud?" She mumbled hoping that Naio didn't hear that. "Can you read minds or something?" She was feeling completely embarrassed.
Jiro would have been smiling from ear to ear if you could see his face, the blood was pure ecstasy. He moved his other hand from her shoulder to brace her neck on the opposite side then he was biting, he didn't want to miss a drop. By this point all of the sensuality was missing and replaced with nothing but pure vampire instinct, he clearly wasn't himself and didn't plan on stopping until there was nothing left of the girl. |
Naio laughed a little seeing her face turn bright red. She turned to the window. "Yes you did and no I can't" She sighed and shook her head. "Sweet heart the only real difference between you and me is that i drink a different kind of coffee. The younge girl was scared beyound all reason she didn't like the way this was feeling any more. He was starting to hurt her now. "Jiro....It...it ... it hurts JIro..."Came the small cries. Her trough was filling with blood now not letting her speak. With in a few moments Jiro was yanked off the small girl cousing her to fall to the grond grasping her wound. She looked at the two men seeing Cain now holding Jiro up by his throat. She passed out just as Cains eyes turned bright red. "You Idiot... what the hell where you thinking, or wher you even thinking!" Cain yelled seeing the blood stained lips of his friend. |
Nisa felt exposed and had no where to hide. Her cheeks were still blushing and there was nothing she could do about it. She moved her hands and grabbed the coffee cup trying to keep herself from fidgeting. "I'm sorry Naio, I didn't mean to say that in front of you..." She looked at Naio feeling quite ashamed of her feelings.
Jiro glared at Cain his eyes still red while being held up by his throat. He brought his hands up and pried himself free from Cain's grasp and dropped to the ground on one knee. He didn't look up right away nor did he say anything, he was starting to come back to his senses. He looked up at Cain, his hair falling back over his shoulders, his dark eyes now back to normal. He knew what he had done, he felt bad but wasn't going to apologise for it. Jiro looked away from Cain and glanced at Miyo who had passed out. "I couldn't help it..." He muttered under his breath. |
Naio smiled "Its ok Cain is a good man he cares allot
for you..." She said seeing a true liking between the two people. "And as for the mind reading this thats fine people have allot of misconceptions of us" She said laughing lightly. Cain's eyes went bright red now "You didn't have a a choise you mean a 16 year old girl forced you to bite her?!"He said anger rising higher and higher now. He didn't know what to think of this. He saw Miyo laying there. "Now I have to help make her forget great..." |
Nisa looked down in the coffee cup at what little of the liquid remained and spun it around the bottom of the cup. "Sometimes I feel like the feelings aren't mutual... It's like he focuses too much on the fact that we're from different.." She paused "..Well you know" Nisa looked back up at her friend and shook her head slightly "I didn't mean it like that Naio, I would've asked you even if you were just like me. Only because I didn't think I said that out loud" She smiled softly.
Jiro lowered his head and stared at the ground below his feet. "Shut up Cain!" He spat finally standing up and looking at his friend. He held back and kept his eyes from changing color, he didn't need to get into it badly with Cain right now. "You wouldn't understand how this happened anyway! You always avoid people like Nisa and their blood so that you don't get caught in these situations!" He glared at Cain. "I was born this way and I will not run from someone just because I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself" He crossed one are over the other. "Not to mention I wasn't human at all, so I don't have any remains of a human conscious keeping me from losing control or did you forget that little detail?" |
She smiled "He is a baby yes and why he stays away
I do not know...myself fully but this will be over soon I just know it" She said andsmiled lightly at her friend "Why don't we go and wait for your sister at home and rest?" He asked and smiled lightly. Cain growled and moved down griping the others caller once more his eyes flashing a bright red. He didn't care if the other was born this way or was made. "You have no clue why I run from Nisa... and I don't care if you lost control or not next time you do that the promise I made your mother gose out the window..." He said and shoved him away glaring.. |
She reached into her pocket and pulled out some cash, flipping though it she pulled out a twenty and set it down under the edge of her coffee cup before placing the rest of her money back in her pocket. She knew Sisio needed the money because she didn't live in the dorms so she wanted to make sure she left enough for a nice tip. She smiled over at Naio just before standing up and stretching "I've rested enough here, so I think I'm prepared for that walk home" She turned, waving briefly to Sisio and headed for the door. She opened it and waited for Naio.
Jiro glared at Cain his eyes starting to flash red, he was starting to have trouble keeping himself calm. He lifted his hand and shoved his friend back. He growled slightly "You're right I have no idea why you run from her, but I do know it isn't because you have deep feelings for her!" He spat. "If that was the case you'd never leave her side!" By now his eyes had completely changed over to bright red. "Last time I checked that so called promise was a mutual agreement and if you ever came after me with intent to kill you'd better come prepared" He muttered holding back wanting to hit Cain. "I will not go easy on you! So do not underestimate me!" |
sisio was them leaving hand smiled waving back at
her. She always enjoyed seeing Nisa here she was always so kind to her. She wnet to go clean off the table and was surprised seeing the tip. She smiled silently thanking her as she cleaned up. Cain growled "You haven't seen me for how long, how the hell do you know how I act around wemon?" He asked and stood up looking down at the other and griped his hands tightly. "If it saves some one from being turned then I will gladly do that..." He said and moved to leavwe he was done with Jiro. He went and picked the younger girl up to go help her... |
Nisa continued out of the coffee shop with Naio and began walking back to their dorm. Nisa, having known her way around the majority of the town took a few short cuts and arrived at the off campus dorms in no time at all. "I wonder where Miyo talked Jiro into taking her? I've practically walked her around this whole town, in and out of every single store" She was curious though at the same time wasn't looking forward to her sisters return just yet. While she was talking she'd continued on entering the building and headed to her room. She smiled softly as she put the key into her door and unlocked it. She held the door open for Naio "Well, here we are. Sorry it's a bit of a mess... and don't mind my make shift bed on the floor" She laughed softly realizing just how messy her room was since her sister had been here.
Jiro merely growled at Cain, he was quite tired of the arguing himself. He blinked a couple times and his eyes reverted back to their normal color, the red faded until it was dark enough to be mistaken for a dark brown. He scoffed at Cain turning his back to him "...So much for catching up.." He muttered just before bending his knees and jumping up to the roof of the lower building and walking off. He decided to just head back to his apartment for awhile to cool off the rest of the way. 00--- Meanwhile on the other side of town ---00 Kano had recently arrived at a small house on the outer most edge of town, it bordered between the town they hunted in and it's neighboring city. It was were he and Suzu had set up their base of operations. The house was out in the center of a large field, it was very old and rundown so it was easily over looked. So it was perfect for them. There were three tree's that bordered the little brick house giving perfect shade from the sun and other worries, again making it difficult to even tell there was a house in the middle of the field. Kano appeared almost out of no where, he liked to stealthily move about using his speed frequently regardless of who could be watching. He would rather flaunt his ability than let it go to waste. He was by far the fastest Vampire from his coven, part of the reason why he was ordered to protect Suzu at all costs. He stood on the porch with his hands in pants pockets surveying the surrounding area. Seeing that no one was around he removed one hand from his pocket and opened the door entering the small house. Once inside he shut the door quietly behind him and looked around for Suzu. Suzu heard him enter the house and started to walk towards him, from the back master bed room where she was resting. She was a petite girl who appeared to be no older than sixteen. She had porcelain white skin with bright blue eyes and long golden blonde hair that was pulled tightly into a bun on the back of her head, a few lose strands popped out here and there. She looked like a life size child's baby doll. Once she made it to the living room where Kano was she stopped and stood with her hand on her waist. "You've been gone for a long time Kano, you better have a good reason" Just from her tone you could tell she was the authority, and that she wasn't at all happy. Kano didn't budge he stood still right by the door with his hands still neatly placed in his pockets, a habit of his. Part of the reason why Kano didn't speak a lot was because he knew when speaking to Miss Suzu he had to keep it short and sweet or else she would have him backed up to the wall with her clawed hand to his throat. She had a very bad tempter and all too often he would say something that upset her. Considering she was the younger sister of the coven leader he had to respect her and he wasn't allowed to fight back when Suzu took her anger out on him. "Miss Suzu, my deepest apologises" He bowed his head for a second before standing up straight again. "I've found and marked several places that hold superb targets" Suzu walked up to Kano and stood directly in front of him, staring up at his face. He didn't look down, not once. She smiled and stepped away from him happy to see that all the time away from her had not changed how he was taught to act around her. "Oh really?" She stated as she made her way over to a small metal chair and sat down. "You do realise my sister is sending her lackeys for the pickup next week? We don't have anything for them to pickup yet!" She growled, clearly angry that they had nothing to show for this month yet. "We have to step it up Kano! Why didn't you bring a human with you when you returned?!" She spat angrily. Extremely displeased. Kano still stood up straight, not flinching and no expressions ever appeared on his face. "I know Miss Suzu, we will have some soon" He stated trying to reassure her that she need not worry about the delivery. "I was going to come back with this one girl. She had the special blood." He was referring to Nisa, her blood was what their coven called special because it was very hard to come by. "She smelt of another Vampire, It wasn't too strong a scent so I assume that she isn't marked yet" Suzu rose from her seat and glared at Kano "Why didn't you bring her here?! That type of blood is hard to come by! You know I'll take anyone regardless of if they're marked Kano..." She hissed stomping her foot in disapproval. "The next time you go out you'd better bring her here!" She paused and thought for a second. "That is, unless she is marked by someone from our coven. You know my rule on touching a human marked by our coven" |
Naio walked in and smiled lightly" Its ok... I see you have been more then wellcoming to her, to bad she dosn't
like it..."She said and sighed moving to the bed to sit on it. "I'v missed our late night talks..."She joked and smiked as the other walked around the room. Cain held the younger girl in his hands the blood on her neck almost to much for him to handle. He hated the fact that once more he had gotten in to a fight with one of his oldest friends. Every day it seemed light it was a battle, not just with blood but friends, love every thing just seemed to hard. Yet he knew that this was his life and he would live it the best he could. He entered a empty where house and set the young girl down and looked her over. The pale skin brought back bad memories of a young girl about his age not looking much different then Miyo. His thoughs went back to a girl with long black hair tied in to a braided bun it sat to the side of her head. Her eyes where kind her body small and frail. She surved him that night yet her blood called to her more then the food she brought. It smelt maybe even sweeter then Nisa's. She was slightly clumsy and smelt allot of what she tried to bring him. But he didn't mind and came there almost every night and asked for her to serve him. He broke out of his thoughts as the younger girl was coming to.He bent over her his hands to her head and hummed sylently before she fell back asleep. When she would awake all her memories of he day would be changed in to only plsent ones. He worked fasted to wipe off the blood and picked her up and brought her back to Nisa's home a little while latter... |
Nisa had spent quite some time wandering around her room trying to clean it up, while she'd been talking with her friend Naio. She managed to get the room pretty much back to normal, all the dirty clothes were picked up, all of Miyo's stuff was neatly tucked away in her luggage bags and everything seemed to tidy again. She the bed, including the one on the floor that she had been using since Thursday. She couldn't wait for her little sister to finally go home, she wanted her bed back so badly. She was tired of the soreness she was feeling all over her body from sleeping on a stiff uncomfortable floor. She let out a big sigh of relief as she finally finished straightening up her room, she set her book down on the desk with a smile. "I'm so glad to have this room back to normal" She opened the drawer to her desk and pulled out a small white cloth and used it to wipe the sweat from her face than tossed it into the laundry basket just before making her way over to the window and pushing the panes open to get some air flowing through the room.
She stood at the window admiring the view just before being startled by a knock at her door. She turned around and glanced at Naio with a curious look on her face "It isn't quite night fall yet... Is Miyo back already?" She walked over to the door and placed her hand on the knob, turning it and then opening the door surprised to see Cain carrying his little sister. She was speechless, and trying to figure out what was going on inside of her own head. "Umm..." She paused and held the door open wide so Cain could enter. "...What's going on?" |
Cain smiled as Nisa opned the door and smiled softly "Jiro wore the poor thing out she passed out in the jazz club near here..." He said and moved to enter. Naio glared at the older male knowing that wasn't the case smelling that boys sent all over her, along with her blood all over her and over Cain. She said nothing though knowing it would only worry Nisa. Cain saw Naios looked and smiled "I see you two where to talk since her sister wasn't bugging you two hmm?" he asked her and laid her on the bed lightly as not to 'wake' her. Naio sighed "Yeah we did we will have to thank Jiro later" She said and moved so the small girl could have the bed all to herself once more. She shot a glare to Cain in a way letting them know they would talk later that night. "That you will..."he said and turned to Nisa and smiled charmingly at her. "The poor guy had to go feed after hanging around her all night, he sends her his best wish's when she wakes up to leave..." He said this and came up to her taking her hand "Would you come with me tomarrow night...to that Jazz club I want to tell you something..." |
Nisa smiled very relieved to know nothing bad happened to her little sister. Regardless of how annoying Miyo was and how much she disliked her; Miyo was still family even if she was adopted. "Thank you Cain, for bringing her here. I really appreciate it" She smiled warmly.
She blushed lightly when Cain took her hand. She had not seen him in awhile so just the slightest touch was enough to set her cheeks on fire. Her cheeks only got brighter when he asked her to join him at the Jazz club; This was the first time Cain had ever asked her to go anywhere with him. She stood quietly for a moment wondering if he really just asked her that all the while thinking to herself 'Pinch me, someone please pinch me' She couldn't resist smiling when she realized it wasn't a dream. "Of course" Was all she could manage to mumble. |
"Please its nothing, I just wanted to make sure she was alright..."He said a slightly sad look over his face. Naio couldn't help but see the mix of hutrrt and sadness in his eyes as he said and knew that it wasn't his fault Cain smiled and kissed her hand lightly"I can't wait but for now I will take my leave" He said and leand down and kissed her cheek. He had missed the wormth and the small gitter he got when ever he touched her. |
Nisa still had a faint color to her cheeks that only grew more visible when Cain kissed her cheek. She really wished she could control the blushing; Sometimes it was kind of embarrassing. She looked down at the floor, saddened by Cain saying he was leaving. "Do you really have to go so soon?"

Cain smiled wanting to stay but didn't know what to do with Naio being there. Yet she saw what was going on. "Nisa I have to go get my home work for art done, I'll see you tomorrow" She said and smiled waving lightly then moving her way out the door. She didn't want Nisa in trouble but she wanted them to be happy. Cain smiled lightly watching her leave. "No I do not but I do not wish to wake your sister..."He said but knew she would not wake up to soon. Being close to her felt so nice he loved having her near to him... |
Nisa stood there dumbfounded after watching Naio leave, next she would be watching Cain leave too. She let out a disgruntled sigh "What is this? Everyone leave Nisa at the same time-day?" She moved away from Cain now standing close to the window with her back to him. "Are Miyo and I being in the same room some type of problem for you guys? Or is this all coincidental?" She paused, letting out another sigh. "We're adopted, so we don't have the same blood..."

Cain watched her leave the soft feeling of her
warmth leaving his side. He watched her and shook his head "No I won't leave Nisa..."He said and came up behind her and placed his hands on her waist. "Thats why I wanted to talk to you tomarow please understand I have a good reason besides your blood.." He said but stopped surprised. "You do not have the same blood?" He asked surprised. |
She looked over her shoulder at him when he put his hands on her waist, surprised to see he had not left yet. She smiled slightly and leaned back onto him "You've avoided me for nearly the past week...I'm just afraid you're going to go away again and not come around for awhile..." She stated in a saddened tone. She couldn't help but feel like it was her fault that he didn't come around that much. She pushed the thought from her mind momentarily and quirked a brow "Why sound so surprised Cain? You should be able to tell that Miyo and I aren't related. Well, except on paper that is... Unless her parents have written me off as a lost cause like I assume they have" Nisa really did despise her parents and the feeling was mutual. Her parents used her to make Miyo better, without telling her and now they no longer have a need for Nisa. They only have one more year to put up with Nisa, once she's eighteen she's no longer their responsibility and they'll have their only child, Miyo like they wanted to begin with.

Cain smiled letting her fall on to his chest sighed
happily to was nice to have her back. "No I will still be here I won't leave you..." He said and moved to brush his lips over her neck lightly. "I... didn't know I am sorry"He said and kissed her cheek now. This was to strange if they where not blood related then how could this be. |
She smiled as she began to blush all over again, practically every time they touched her cheeks lit up. She put her hand up to his face and rested it on the side of his lightly, a few moments later she slowly slid her hand and fingers down his face until they were back in front of her. She shut her eyes gently not wanting to forget this specific moment in time. The sun was finally starting to set over the small town and the view was lovely from her third story window, the crisp breeze poured in through the open window releasing a clean scent all around. It was a shame that this moment would end soon, either by Cain leaving or the sun's complete set for the night. Nisa opened her golden eyes and looked back up at Cain once more. "How could you not know? Can't you smell the difference, or is your nose not what it used to be?"
