[[We continued this over AIM for awhile and decided to bring it back to the forum. Here's what would have been missed if you had been reading this before. And I'm sorry there is so much! ]]

"No seeing as you do not understand Japan..." He said and smiled softly moving to kiss her cheek lightly so many things going through his mind yet he wanted to make sure they made it to breakfast and not back in to the bed room. "It’s nothing love why don’t we head to get something to eat?" He said and smiled backing from her and took her hand in his.
She smiled seeing him bend down and placed a hand on his shoulder and moved to kiss his cheek loving the feel of his skin if even just him cheek under her lips. She smiled softly and moved away and looked up at him "I will make sure that I bring something of mine to sleep in this time..." She laughed blushing...
Nisa blushed softly when he kissed her cheek and then wore a small smile. She tilted her head to the side slightly when he said it was nothing. With a smile like that, how could it be nothing? She gave a soft sigh followed by a nod. “If you say so..." She paused. "And where are we going to eat?" She asked quietly as she glanced down at his hand while it held hers.
Jiro shut his eyes lightly and gave a faint smile when Naio kissed his cheek. He really wished that the kiss could've been more but he wasn't willing to test what Suzu had said about the stuff she put in the mark on his face. He opened his eyes again and looked over at her when she moved away. He gave a soft laugh. "What... my clothes aren't good enough for you to sleep in?" He of course was just joking around; it wouldn't bother him if she brought her own clothes.
"Well I was thinking the shop near class, that one on Main Street, and then we could look around at the other shops if you like..." He said and moved to unlock his door and moved to step through it with her right behind him. "By the way... you look really cute when you blush...." He said smirking to himself.
She laughed and shook her head "Your clothing is fine but I mean you have such nice things I don’t want to ruin them." She said and moved to adjust the shirt she had on now. "Just... be careful in what you do alright?" She had a feeling what he was going to do would not be safe...
Nisa lifted her eyes up from their hands when he spoke and nodded slightly. "Okay.. That sounds good." She said lightly. As she followed him she was quiet for a moment, she looked up at him when she heard the last thing that he said and her cheeks only blushed more. She averted her eyes and tilted her head down so that her hair fell past her face. "..."
Jiro just looked at her for a moment before shaking his head lightly, remembering the state of the shirt he wore the other day. He'd even left its tattered mess in Nisa's room. "...I don't exactly take that great care of my own clothes, ya know." He commented quietly before pushing himself up from the back of the couch. He started to walk over towards the door to his bedroom. He still needed to get changed out of his sleep pants. "Don't worry Naio. It's not like I'm going to go looking for trouble."
"Please don't be shy I might just have to take you back to the house..."He said jokingly and moved to lift her hand to his lips softly kissing it. He loved all the little things she did. They moved down in to the street not long after and come to his motor bike that was sitting right there. "Would you mind taking this or would you like to walk?"
"I know that but still..."She said talking about his clothing and watched him walk past her. As he did she looked at the clock knowing visiting hours would be opening soon to go see the girl. She sighed and looked back at him "That may be true but trouble seems to have a crush on you..."She said talking about Suzu...
Nisa lifted her head slightly when she heard what he said though she still tried to partially hide behind her hair. "...Erm.. I.. can't help it..." She said quietly. She stared at him for a moment when he kissed her hand and then started to tilt her head down again to hide when she felt her cheeks burn again, but stopped. "...I think you're making me blush.. on purpose." She said lightly. She glanced over to the motor bike when he asked if she'd mind taking it. She shook her head slightly. "This is fine... Though... I've never been on one...”
Jiro glanced back to Naio and gave a soft laugh. "C'mon Naio, that's no way to talk about yourself." He joked. Although he of course knew who she was referring to. He gave a soft sigh before stepping into his room and heading for his closet. He was only inside for a few minutes before he'd walked back over to the bedroom door. He was now out of his sleep pants and in a pair of black slacks with a dark blue t-shirt that fit him snuggly along with a black vest over top the shirt which he left unbuttoned for the moment. He looked back over at Naio as he leaned against the door frame. "So you're going to check on that girl Sisio?"
He laughed a little “You think?" He asked and turned to her pushing her hair out of her face the same kind smile on his lips as he stood there" It’s okay I will keep you safe you just have to hold on tight..." she said hoping that wouldn’t be a big deal to her.
She blushed and pouted a little when he said that glaring at him a bit; she knew he knew what she was speaking of. Yet she let it slip and sighed moving to the door waiting for the other to come back so she could say her good bye. Her jaw almost dropped as she saw him. Yes he was handsome and she should be used o it by now yet she couldn't look away. "Y-yeah I am going now I just wanted to say good bye..."
Nisa stared at him for a moment and then shook her head. "If I blush anymore right now I'm liable to burst a blood vessel..." She commented quietly. Seeing his smile only made her smile a bit before glancing back to the motor bike. "..I think I can manage that." She paused and then looked down at her wrists. "..They don't hurt that badly today."
Jiro smiled softly seeing how she was staring at him. "Is there something wrong?" He paused. "Do I need to change?" He asked softly while giving a small laugh. He pulled himself away from the door frame and walked closer to her before wrapping his arms around her to hug her lightly. "I'm heading out now myself, so I can walk with you. At least until we get out of the building." He said lightly before pulling back from the hug and walking towards the front door to open it.
"Maybe I want that..."He smirked remembering the way her blood tasted last night. Yet he just laughed and got on his bike waiting for her to get on with him as well. "I am glad to hear that, we will get them looked at today I don't want anything infecting them..."He said taking one of her hands in his and sighed looking at them. "Come on... put this on..."He said handing her a helmet and then started the bike.
She turned from him and to the door "No your fine..."She said and crossed and smiled when she felt his arms around her and leaned back in in to him "That sounds like a good thing..."She said and moved alongside him and walked out the door as he opened it and moved out along with him. She kept her hand in his down the path that they took to the elevators...
Nisa took the helmet he handed her and slipped it on. "...Where are you planning to take me to have them looked at?" She asked while moving to get onto the bike too. Once she was on she slipped her arms around him and held on. She was a little worried about going anywhere to have her wrists looked at. Going to a hospital or anything like that would only mean she'd have to come up with some excuse as to what happened to them and she wasn't so sure she could think of anything to explain it, other than the truth.
Jiro held the door long enough for both of them to pass through and then made sure to lock it before they started for the elevators. He came to a stop when they reached them and pressed the down button and watched it light up. He glanced back down to Naio and smiled a little. "...I shouldn't be gone for too long, but if I'm not home when you come back..." He paused and took his free hand and slipped it into his pocket removing a copy of his key and handed it to her. "Take this." His attention shifted when he heard the ding of the elevator and then the doors slid open. He stepped inside and tugged on her hand lightly pulling her inside with him before the doors shut again and the elevator started down.
"The same hospital... the girl is at... my Mother is a doctor there..." He said and looked back at her and moved the bike to take off as soon as she was on. They only cursed so they could still talk. He knew he would have to tell her sooner or later and now might be a good time...
She sighed when he handed her the key and placed it in her pocket. "If you’re not home by three tonight I will come looking for you..."She said knowing he wouldn't like that but she had to make sure she did not get himself killed. She saw the door open and held the door open for them to go through and moved inside waiting for him.
Nisa gave a sigh hearing that he was going to take her to a hospital. Although she was somewhat relieved to hear that his mother was a doctor there. At least then, maybe she wouldn't have to try and come up with some silly reasoning for the cuts in her wrists. Once he got the bike moving she tightened her grip around him a little more.
Jiro glanced down at Naio after hearing that she'd come looking for him if he wasn't home by three. He shook his head lightly. "I already told you not to worry. It's not like I'm going anywhere dangerous." He said with a sigh. Once out of the elevator he made his way towards the doors to exit the apartment complex. "...I'm just going to check into a few things, that's it. I'm not sure how long I'll be, but I should be home later tonight.. At the latest."
He smiled feeling her so close to him He went a little faster just to have her closer to him. He drove all the way to Sisio's work. It was really only about ten minutes from his home and the school. He made sure to be careful when parking,. Once He shut off the gas he turned back to her and smiled "We are here..."
She sighed and nodded "Fine but I swear if I smell you dead I won’t cry...'She said standing right outside of the elevators. She wanted to trust him something just felt off. Yet she moved over to him and took his hand kissing it lightly not wanting to have him bend down again. "I will see you tonight...."she said and then moved out the doors...
Nisa held onto him a little tighter once he sped up and continued to do so until he brought the bike to a stop and parked it. She loosened her grip on him and then let go all together before looking up when he said they were there. She smiled a little seeing where they were and then moved carefully to climb off of the bike. She adjusted her dress for a moment and then reached up to remove the helmet, then held it out to him. "..That sure beats walking." She commented quietly.
Jiro looked over at Naio and smirked lightly. "Naio, I'm already dead... There won't be much of a difference in smells." He joked. He smiled lightly when she kissed his hand and then watched her leave before he started out the doors himself. He headed off in the opposite direction. He was headed for this small hole in the wall of a place that not too many people knew of, well, if you were a vampire then you'd probably know. It was a well hidden place that wasn't visible to the naked eye. It took him close to ten minutes just to walk to the place. When he finally reached it, hidden in a rarely used alley way he came to a stop at a certain part of the wall and pressed his hand against it. There was a small sensor built into the wall that would read your DNA before it opened the door. So long as you were a vampire it would open. The door slid open much the same way as his bedroom door and he slipped inside before the door shut behind him and the wall went back to normal.
"Yeah I think so..."He said and smiled and looked at her then moved off the bike as well waiting till she was ready then held out a arm for her to take. He then moved inside the restaurant and took their seat seeing one of the girls working showing them just to sit since it was so slow there today. He grabbed two menus even though he wasn't going to eat and moved them to the corner booth and sat down across from her.
Nisa took his arm when he offered it and smiled a little. Once inside she sat down in the booth and rested her hands in her lap for a moment. She glanced over at him, noticing that he'd grabbed two menus instead of just one. "...You know you didn't have to grab a second one." She said lightly.
Jiro looked around for a moment once he was inside. The inside was actually rather large and consisted of a small bar off to one side and then through a door was an extensive library which he intended to make good use of. He looked over at the keep behind the bar and waved before heading back to the door to the library. He'd come here every so often so the keep at the bar knew him pretty well. Once he got through the door he started off to a couple shelves looking at the spines of the old books, as he walked around occasionally pulling a few down and holding onto them.
He nodded his head "I know but it’s a habit I guess...” He said and handed her hers. "Even thought I can't fill myself with it, I like to do it just for the taste sometimes..." He said and smiled softly at her.
Nisa took the menu when he handed it to her and set it down on the table in front of her before opening it and returning her hands to her lap. "I guess that makes sense.." She paused and dropped her eyes down to the menu briefly while she skimmed over it. She'd been here a lot but never actually got herself moving early enough on the weekends to make it here for breakfast.
Jiro finally settled on an arm full of books before he actually made it back over to a table off in the corner of the library. He set the books down on the table and gave a heavy sigh as he sat himself down in one of the chairs and reached for the first book in the stack. He leaned back and opened it up skimming through it looking for anything that could help explain this curse thing that Suzu put on him. The last thing he wanted to do was end up going to her asking questions about it.
He looked at it for a moment and then settled on hot tea and toast. He never ate much yet he enjoyed his tea's. He looked around and sighed knowing he would not see the young Sisio here and wondered if her friend had noticed she wasn't here.
Nisa glanced back down at the menu long enough to decide on something to eat. She wasn't too hungry right now so she'd decided she only wanted some scrambled eggs and a couple pieces of bacon, along with a small glass of milk. She looked up and over at Cain while she shut the menu and then glanced around the restaurant for a moment before looking back at him. "...What is it?" She asked having not even been paying attention to the people working at the time. The fact that Sisio wasn't here today had completely slipped her mind.
Jiro wound up setting the first book down on the table and then reached for another one. He wasn't exactly sure that he'd find anything about it since Suzu had said that it was some concoction that her and her sister had come up with. If it was something new then there likely wasn't any documentation of it or anything like it. He gave a heavy sigh as he continued to skim through the book. Maybe he should ask Cain if he knew anything. After all he was supposed to talk to him about the mark on his face from Suzu, and they hadn't gotten the chance to talk yet. Though he wasn't so sure he'd be able to steal Cain away from Nisa long enough to have a serious conversation with him.
"Hmm Oh its nothing... it’s just Your friend... she works here in the mornings before class so it’s just odd not to see her here..."He said turning back to her a small smile on her face. "It might just be her day off... so it’s nothing really it’s just she’s the only one here who makes me the tea I like..."
Nisa looked at him for a moment before turning her head to look around again. She really hadn't noticed that Sisio wasn't here today and after taking another look it was true. Sisio wasn't here today, or wasn't working rather. She glanced back to Cain and gave a soft smile. "It is kind of weird not having Sisio here." She commented. "I'm sure we'll see her back here on Monday." She paused. "...Can't someone else make the tea?"
He laughed and nodded his head "yes they can but I have to pay full price for two teas..."He said and smiled "You see I like to mix my teas and here if you order it like that they make you pay for two hole cups" He said and looked to the waitress that was coming over.
Nisa chuckled softly. "So you're just using Sisio to save yourself a little money. That's not very nice you know." She said lightly. She glanced up when she saw him look away and then noticed the waitress. She gave a small smile and then placed her hands back down in her lap.
The waitress came up and asked how they where Cain smiled and bowed his head "Doing just fine thank you..."He then placed his order of a raspberry tea mixed with earl grey blend. She nodded and smiled then turned to Nisa waiting for her. Once she had placed her order the girl smiled "I'll be right back with them..."And with that she left.
Cain looked back at Nisa and shook his head "No she is the one that offered me it, I leave her a little bigger tips, like you did the other night and so she saves me cash on my tea..."He said knowing how hard it must be for her it live. He had the same thoughts as his love and just wanted to help.
Nisa watched when the waitress left and then looked back over to Cain. She gave a slight nod. "You know.. If you're leaving her bigger tips then it's almost the same thing as paying the full price for your tea." She commented. "...I do try to leave a nice tip when I have the extra money. Either that or I give her one of the books that I've bought, that I've finished reading. It saves her from having to go out and buy it later." She paused and glanced down at her wrists briefly. "..I couldn't begin to imagine how hard it must be for her to have to live out here on her own."
"I know that’s why she lets me off for tea..."He laughed but then smiled and looked at one of her hands taking it in his. "It’s hard... for the both of you... but you do the best to help her because you know what it’s like..." He said and smiled softly kissing her wrist. He looked back up sitting back up and smiled. "You’re very kind that’s one of the many reasons why I love you..."
Nisa looked at him for a moment and shook her head. "I don't know what it's like." She paused. "Even though my foster parents don't like me, they still cover everything." She said quietly. She glanced back over to him when she felt him kiss her wrist and blushed terribly after the words that followed.
"That may be true... but you know what it’s like to be alone... the fact that they really don't come see you...' He said and sighed "But you’re a better person then them and have become a fine lady..." He said and smiled.
Nisa gave a sigh. Sometimes it bothered her that her foster parents didn't really care about her. She had those days when she was envious of Miyo, just because she got all the attention. She was quiet for a few moments before glancing back over to Cain. "I guess I'm not really alone anymore." She paused. "I've got you... and Naio."
"That’s true, you have us..."He said and looked in to her eyes and smiled softly at her. He could tell she was hurting but she was strong, he just hoped he could keep seeing her grow like this. He turned and saw the waitress come up and handed him his tea then her, her eggs and such. He smiled and raised his glass. "Bon appetite..."
Nisa looked back over at Cain and smiled a little. She glanced over to the waitress when she came back over and watched as she set down the plate of food in front of her. She uttered her thanks and then glanced back over to Cain when he spoke. She smiled a bit more warmly and gave a slight nod of her head while she started unwrapping her silverware from the napkin. She set the napkin in her lap and then proceeded to eat the scrambled eggs on her plate.
Cain went to his tea he put in far too much sugar and a little bit of milk and honey. He wasn't to found of bitter tea so that’s why he always ordered the sweeter tea to balance out the other. as he stirred his tea his mind wondered a little. He sat there in a small shop in Tokyo his suit jacket undone one leg crossed over the other. His then Long black hair tied to his neck falling over his shoulder. He looked out the small window looking doer the over cast sky, it had been raining for some time and he was stuck here at this small coffee shop. It was a nice little place yet he hated coffee. He sighed and folded his book up having read the same line over three times now and gotten nowhere with it. He heard someone coming over a small glass tinkling on their tray. "He narrowed his eyes turning "I don't want....it..."He said his eyes softening seeing a young girl there her eyes scared for a moment. On her tray was a small cup of tea and a tea pot. "I...thought you.. might like this..."She said setting down the sweet smelling liquid...
Nisa sat there quietly eating her breakfast. She was rather hungry so she was eating relatively quickly even though she was having a little bit of trouble holding the fork in her hand because of her wrist. She'd been so focused on trying not to drop the fork that she barely even noticed how quiet that Cain was being. Once she finished off her eggs she set down the fork then reached over to scoot her glass of milk closer to her. She only now glanced over to Cain. "...Are you okay?"
Cain snapped out of his thoughts his red eyes meeting her own. " Hmm... oh yeah sorry I just zoned out there..." He said and smiled and looked at her hands "Are you sure your ok... I mean...we could get this to go..."He said not liking the way they where looking. He hated seeing her in any kind of pain.
Nisa lifted up the small glass and took a sip of it before setting it back down on the table, then reached for the napkin in her lap immediately to wipe the milk mustache away that she knew was there. She always ended up with one no matter how careful she was when she drank milk so it'd just become a habit to wipe her mouth right away. She looked back to him and then down at her wrists. "I'm okay.. I told you they don't hurt that badly today." She paused. "...And besides, I don't have much left to eat. It'd be pointless to get the rest to go." Her wrists really didn't hurt that badly unless she was trying to move them or use her hands to grip anything like silverware. She was already dreading Monday, having to go back to school. Her hand writing was going to be an eyesore for awhile.
He sighed and took a sip of his tea, he laughed a slightly when he saw the milk on her lip. He couldn’t help it; it was too cute not to notice. He didn't say anything just sipped his drink. He watched her and nodded "Alright but we’re going right to Keria after brunch..."He said and smiled softly, he didn’t want to see her like this and wanted to at least try and make it better.
Nisa glanced away briefly when she heard him laugh, she was a little embarrassed. She knew why he'd laughed. She shook her head lightly and then looked back over to him. "Keria?" She paused. "...Is that your mother?" She asked quietly while she eyed the rest of the food on her plate. She wasn't sure if she wanted to finish it. She caved and reached for a piece of bacon and broke it in half before taking a few small bites of it until it was gone.
"Yes Keria is my mother..."He said and smiled at her setting the empty tea cup down before looking back out the window. He thought back to that small coffee shop and sighed turning back to Nisa and smiled softly NO memory could beat what he had right here.
Nisa finally just pushed her nearly empty plate away from her a little before looking over at her glass of milk. She gave a soft sigh and reached for it. She already had the napkin ready. She took a drink of the milk and quickly set the glass down and then wiped her mouth. She then folded up the napkin a little and set it down on the table beside the glass. "...I think I'm done. So, I guess we can go when you're ready." She said quietly as she looked over at him with a slight smile.
He looked back at her and took her hand in his and kissed it lightly. "I wish this meeting could have been under better circumstance’s..."He said yet took her hand as he go up having already laid the cash for their food down. He was still hungry but that would wait till they got to the hospital. "Come on we can walk it’s not that far from here..."
Nisa smiled a bit more warmly when he took her hand and kissed it though the smile faded a little after what he said. She gave a soft sigh and then started to stand up once he had. "...It can't really be helped, I suppose." She said quietly. She was already a little nervous about meeting his mother. So the fact that she would be meeting her to get help with her wrists wasn't really helping. She gave a soft sigh followed by a nod. She didn't mind walking and with the hospital so close it would be a waste to take his bike.
"Trust me you have nothing to worry about its me that needs to be running for the hills..."He said and smiled at her as they left the restaurant. He knew his mother would be upset that he let her get hurt even more so by their blood enemy. "Trust me she will swoon over you...." He said laughing a bit as they walked down the street.
Nisa glanced up at him once they'd left and tilted her head to the side slightly. "...Why should you be running for the hills?" She asked curiously. She turned her eyes back in front of her and watched where they were walking for a moment. "...And regardless of what you say, it's still a little unnerving that I'm going to met your mother." She commented quietly.
"Ah yes the fearful meeting of the parents..."He said and smiled to himself a little but sighed "You will see soon enough Nisa trust me..."He said and moved along trying to think of some way to get away from getting smacked by Keria for letting this happen.
Nisa sighed softly. "I think I'm just glad you never have to meet my foster parents." She said quietly. Hearing him say that she'd see soon enough made her wonder if she should be worried. She couldn't imagine what he should be worried about, but that was only because she wasn't really thinking it had anything to do with her.
Cain nodded "If I never did I might have a good dinner..."He said smirking to himself not caring for any one that miss treated or hurt NIsa in any way. He walked with her along the side walk until they came up on the gates of the hospital. He moved so they were on the other side now walking to the doors. He hated the smell of this place but knew they ad to come here. Once they entered he stopped sniffing the air. "Nisa...does... Sisio have any friends here?"
Nisa looked to Cain after hearing what he said. "...Even if I don't like them, I hate them even, that's not exactly a nice thing to say..." She said quietly. She did really despise them and she hated how they treated her but even so, she couldn't wish anything bad on them. She gave a sigh when they came upon the gates to the hospital. She really hated the idea of even walking into that place with her wrists the way they were. It was so obvious that they were hurt. Once inside she looked over to Cain when he asked his question. She glanced around a little and then shook her head lightly. "...I don't think so. I don't think Sisio has very many friends.." She paused. "Why do you ask?"
He shook his head "I am sorry I said something so rude..."He said looking down the halls having swore he smelt the girl here "Its nothing really... let’s just go find Keria ok?" He asked and smiled down at her lightly taking her hand in his and moving down the white halls of the hospital.
Nisa gave a slight nod when he apologized and then started to follow after him when he took her hand and started walking. She was still a little curious as to why he asked that question. She thought it was a little random and the fact that he said it was nothing only made her more curious. She shook her head slightly just forgetting about it for now. "...So, do you even know where she is?" She paused. "...This is a pretty big hospital after all...”
"I can smell great remember?" He asked and smiled softly down at the younger girl his eyes holding a slight playful look. He walked down the hall soon stopping at one of the rooms with the name Mara Degreen on the door. "Here we are..."
Nisa smiled slightly and then shook her head. "It must have slipped my mind." She commented. "And what’s that look in your eyes for?" She questioned curiously as they walked. She glanced to the door briefly when they came to a stop and then looked back to him. "...I thought you said her name was Keria..."
"It was when she was first turned...just like my true name isn’t Cain... I mean don't you think it would be a bit odd if the same person kept on living with the same name for over a 120 years?" He asked looking down at her. "And it’s nothing really just keeping a bit....frisky..."
Nisa gave a slight nod. "I guess so... But at the same time I don't see where it matters if you change your name or not. Everyone who knew you who was human would eventually die and then you'd be around new people." She said lightly with a shrug. She looked back to him hearing the last thing he said and then averted her eyes. "...Frisky huh?..." She paused. "...We're in public, I hope you've noticed."
"Well you see some people are smarter then we give them credit for and go looking in to our past’s finding we never died nor got old..."He said in a whispered tone "But enough about that right now..."He said and laughed a bit “Yes I have noticed that’s why I haven’t done anything..."He said but as he went to kiss her something smacked him on the head "Cain... behave yourself..."Came a firm female voice from behind him. There was a woman with long red hair and bright green eyes.
Nisa gave another nod after he explained a little. She couldn't help but smile a little when he said that he had noticed, and that was why he hadn't done anything. She did however startle terribly and she felt like she nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the voice from behind Cain. She hadn't even heard anyone else around them which was partly why it startled her so badly. She placed her hand to her chest for a moment while she tried to catch her breath. Only now did she think to glance over at the woman who'd smacked Cain on the head.
The woman looked back at Nisa with the same knowing smirk Cain had. She walked from round Cain who was now holding his head. Keria placed out her hand "Nice to meet you finally NIsa..."She said her voice more soft now. "Nisa... this is Mara...or Keria... my Mother..." He said sighing lightly still rubbing his head. Keria was as short as Nisa if not the same height as her.
Nisa watched as she moved around Cain and then held out her hand to her. She just stared at her hand for a moment before reaching out with her own briefly. She brought her eyes up and smiled a little. "It's nice to meet you too." She said quietly. "..Um... Which name would you prefer?" She paused. "I doubt you want me calling you 'Mara or Keria' every time I see you." She said with a soft chuckle.
Keria chuckled little and shook her hand "I like her..."She said tuning back to Cain but as they shook hands she could smell her blood from under her bandages and her smiled faded slightly. "Call me Keria when we are alone and Mara out here..."She said and turned to Cain hitting him again "What was that for!?” He asked looked down at her. "What for you dolt, just look at her wrist's you should have come here sooner!” She said her voice once more harsh. Cain just growled "I did it only happened last night..."He said and looked at Nisa "I... wanted to make sure she was settled before bringing her here..." He said his voice clam now. Keria only sighed looking at his eyes then at hers. "Fine... come on no time to waste..."She said and moved then in to her office...
Nisa just stood there quietly as she watched them go back and forth for a moment and then glanced away. She really didn't see what the big deal was. Sure her wrists hurt and they still bled a little depending on how she moved them, but she thought they'd heal just fine after a week or two. She was still rather quiet once moved into his mother’s office. She didn't care too much for hospitals as it was. She'd spent more than enough time in one when she used to visit Miyo in the hospital. But that was years ago. She gave a light sigh and glanced down at her wrists.
"Please Nisa sit down this shouldn't take long..."Keria said and smiled kindly at her and moved around the room gathering small bits and bobs to put on the cuts. They were sure to seal the wounds and take away most of the pain. It was the closest thing to healing as a vampire that she had. "Now this might sting a little ....is that ok?"
Nisa continued to stand there quietly at least until she was told to sit down. She moved over to a chair and sat down. Then she watched as Keria moved around the room picking things up. She looked back to Keria when she said that it might sting a little and absently bit her lip lightly at the thought. She let out a sigh and then gave a small nod. She'd felt more then enough pain in her wrists the past day so she really wasn't looking forward to them stinging because of something Keria put on them. But she did want them to start feeling better.
"Cain, sit down your making me nervous..."She said seeing as Cain was pacing the room back and forth. Cain blushed lightly but did as was old and took a seat in the visitors chair next to the wall. Keria then move to take off the bandages and mix a paste together. She wanted to let the wounds breath before putting this one. She knew it would sting only for a moment but she wanted to at least let the girl know. Once the paste was done she moved and stared to apply it to the cuts. It stuck pretty well and soon dried over the cuts like knew skin but not quite. She would still need to cover them.
Nisa sat there with her eyes rested on her wrists, though she looked up briefly when she heard Keria tell Cain to sit. Her eyes fell right back down to her wrists though when Keria went to start removing the bandages. That at least didn't bother her that much as the last time the bandages had to be removed; Then it required scissors because they couldn't just be peeled off. She lifted her right wrist up and looked at the cut a little more closely since she hadn't really ever looked at them. They certainly weren't very nice looking but she didn't expect them to look any different, after all it was a wire rope that had been digging into her wrists. She winced immediately when Keria started to apply the paste to the cuts. The pressure that had to be applied hurt more at first, then the sting hit and her eyes watered. When the paste had dried she looked back down at her wrists curiously. "..."
Cain saw the water in her eyes and wanted to tell Keria to stop not liking to see her like that. Yet he knew it was for her own good that Keria was putting the paste on there. He sat back down instead of having on his seat. Keria heard him and sighed knowing that he needed to learn to handle himself. She was done with the first one then finished up the last one and smiled "There... now once it dries we can place the bandages back on and they should feel fine till you want to change them again..." Keria said and moved to get the wraps...
Nisa was too busy staring at the wrist that Keria had already finished with to even notice that she'd started on the other one. Although she did notice as soon as the sting set in because her eyes watered again. She glanced up from her wrists for a moment and blinked her eyes a few times to make the water go away. "...Thank you." She said quietly before looking back down to her wrists. "...What did you put on them?"
"I am sorry I know they hurt..."She said and sighed lightly unwrapping the bandages to place on Nisa wrists when she was ready. "It’s ok... Your welcome... oh... it’s a little medicine I made up... its instant skin..."She said and smiled lightly "Cain doesn’t heal as fast so I needed to make this for him..."She laughed but Cain just blushed and looked down.” Always used to get in to fights he couldn't win..."
Nisa shook her head. "No need to apologize. You didn't hurt me on purpose." She said quietly. She listened to what the stuff was and then looked back down to her wrists, eying them a little more closely. "...Any speed of healing must be better then the rate that I heal.." She commented quietly before lifting her eyes from her wrists. She looked over at the bandages that Keria had unwrapped. She was ready to have her wrists wrapped back up but she wasn't so sure that she could do that herself and didn't want to ask if she was going to do them for her. She'd already helped more than enough.
"Give me your hands..."She said and smirked seeming to know what she was thinking. "I can read your thoughts..."She said and smiled a little and held out her hand for the other girl to give her, her wrist.
Nisa looked up Keria a little shocked and then held her wrist out to her. "...No offense but that is a violation of my privacy and I'd appreciate it if you'd refrain from digging around in my thoughts." She said quietly while averting her eyes.
Keria laughed bit "She can't help it Nisa, she just hears peoples thoughts... like a radio..."Cain said looking up knowing that Keria wasn't trying to be rude. "I don't mean to... honest a lot of the time I try to tune people out yet yours seem to just pop out at me..."She said at this moment seeming to act younger then even Cain.
Nisa gave a soft sigh. "..Then I guess if I don't want to say it myself I'll just have to stop thinking." She paused. "Or at least make an attempt not to think." She said lightly. Not thinking was going to be next to impossible, just because how could a person really not be thinking about something at any given point in time. She sighed again and looked back to her wrists to see if Keria was finished.
Keria sighed and tied off the last wrist "I... am sorry but just because I hear all you think doesn’t mean I will tell... trust me I have become very good at keeping secrets..."She said and stood up "alright you two get on out of here you have more important things to be doing..."
Nisa looked up to Keria and nodded slightly. “Even so, it’s still weird knowing you know what I’m thinking… Especially if they are private thoughts.” She said quietly then averted her eyes. She glanced back briefly when she noticed Keria had stood up. She gave a light sigh and then got to her feet as well then adjusted the dress she had on a little before quirking a brow slightly. “…More important things to be doing?” She questioned glancing back to Cain.
"Yes isn't there a friend of yours here?” She asked looking back at Cain thinking he already knew. Cain looked at her with a question "The girl... the one you talk about... Sisio I think...she always smells of coffee?" Cain’s eyes went wide. "Nisa...."
Nisa looked back towards Keria when she asked about a friend being here. She quirked a brow again and then started to look back at Cain, but turned her eyes back to Keria when she said Sisio's name. She was quiet for a moment before she finally looked back over at Cain. Though she looked a little annoyed more then anything. "You told me it was nothing... You thought you smelt her, didn't you?" She huffed and then shook her head before looking back to Keria. "... Do you know where she is?"
Keria sighed knowing Cain was in for it worse then she could give. "Yes she came in last night with severe wounds... she’s in the intensive care unit..." Keria said and then looked at Cain "You will tell me why she smelt like us later..." She said and moved to the door "Come on I will show you... Naio is already here..."
Nisa didn't bother looking at Cain and followed after Keria as she moved towards the door. She was obviously more then a little upset because he said it was nothing. Then hearing also, that Naio was here didn't make it any better. She was sure that Cain could probably smell Naio too, so why hadn't that set off a red flag or something. She took a deep breath and then opened her mouth. "..How long has Naio been here?"
"She’s most likely still at the info desk... don't blame Cain his smell has a large range he could have thought his smell was way off..." She said not wanting Cain to not be blamed "For all he knew she could be off where she works or her home..." She said walking them to the Info Desk Where Naio span around smelling the new Vampire narrowing her eyes at Keria "Cain introduce us before she tears my arms off..."she said laughing. Cain walked passed Nisa and to Naio seeming to calm her down.
Nisa gave a heavy sigh after listening to Keria and then glanced over at her. "That whole you can hear my thoughts thing... It's really annoying." She said quietly. When they reached the information desk she smiled a little seeing Naio but turned her attention back to Keria. "...Not to be rude, but before you guys get into introductions can you point me towards the intensive care?" She paused and gave another sigh. "I'd rather check on Sisio then stand here while you guys get acquainted."
"Don't worry I can see she rather do the same so just fallow her she has alredy been told where to go... and please take care and let Cain change your wrist's..."She said smiling and turned to leave. Cain and Naio waited for her before moved to go. "I see you came to get your wrist's looked at..."Naio said knowing she hadn't told them about Sisio yet..."
Nisa bowed her head slightly when Keria started to leave and then gave a sigh as she turned to walk over to Naio and Cain. She looked down at Naio when she spoke and smiled weakly. "..Yes.. well, it wasn't by choice." She commented quietly. "...I'm pretty sure even if I had protested I'd have been dragged here to get them looked at..."
"There your right... I couldn't let you go on like this..."He said and looked down at her saying the first thing he had in some time. "Well next time let her come in if she wants... you might lose her if you drag her place's..." Naio joked....
"I told you they didn't hurt that badly, Cain." She paused. "If you wanted to be technical... What your mother did hurt worse than just leaving my wrists alone." She glanced back over to Naio having heard what she said, she chuckled lightly. "If given the choice of coming here Naio, I'd have run the other direction."
Cain winced at that, why was she so horrible all of the sudden? He sighed and just followed the girls looking around knowing they were close smelling Sisio close by. “Well that may be true but I can't even smell the blood anymore..."
Nisa lifted her wrists up slightly and looked down at them. "...I guess that's a good thing." She said quietly. She couldn't smell the blood to begin with so as it stood there wasn't too much different between before and now expect the pain had subsided. "...So, does anyone know specifically why Sisio is in the hospital?" She paused. "I mean... does it have anything to do with what happened the other night?" She asked quietly, not sure she really wanted to hear an answer to that question.
Cain could tell Naio knew but couldn't say a word till she did. Naio sighed and nodded stopping outside of the door. “I do... but I am not sure she does still..." She said ad looked to the ground. "Kano had found her... I am not sure what happened but he knocked her out. But I guess he did more to her then I first thought... I would have told you if I had seen you sooner..."
Nisa came to a stop when Naio did, outside the door. She gave a heavy sigh after listening to her. She couldn't believe it took this long for her to find out. Hearing now that it was Sisio who Kano attacked the other night only made her second guess going on that date last night with Cain. Had the girl Kano attacked been a complete stranger then she probably wouldn't feel that badly about it. She was quiet for a moment and then looked at Naio. "...So, you don't think she has any memory of what happened?" She paused. "It's probably better that way..." She mumbled.
"This is true but if she does we need to tell her it was just a burglar that did that...” She said not knowing fully what happened to the young girl in the room. She turned to the door and sighed "Shall we go in?" She asked and turned her sight back to the others.
Nisa nodded lightly. She didn’t exactly know what had happened to Sisio because she had her own problems at the time, but she hoped that Sisio had no memory of what happened. Though at the same time she didn’t really want to have to go lying to Sisio about how she got hurt. Especially since she knew who did it. She gave a soft sigh. It certainly would be nicer not remembering what happened. She finally looked back to Naio when she mentioned going inside. Again, she nodded her head lightly.
Cain stood by the door and crosed his arms over chest "You two go in I am going to wait out here..."He said smiling softly at them. The smell of antiseptic and medication was almost too much for him even from outside the room.
Naio watched her friend but nodded in understanding as he said and opening the door to let Nisa though. "Come on it’s alright...it might be better if he waited out here if she does remember..." She said and smiled trying to reassure her younger friend.
Nisa glanced over to Cain when she heard him say that he wasn’t going to be going inside. That surprised her a little, all things considered. She had Naio with her though, so she guessed she didn’t mind all that much. If Naio wasn’t with her she wondered if he’d still have left her to go inside without him. She sighed softly and looked to Naio when she opened the door and tried to say something reassuring. “If you say so…” She uttered quietly before giving one last glance to Cain before she started to step through the door, into the room.
Cain smiled lightly, it was fine that these two went in but if she remembered anything she would remember him there about to help her. Yet a lot of the time vampires where not the good guys.
Naio moved in to the room seeing Sisio was starting to stir as the vampire closed the door behind her friend.
Her light eyes looked up and saw Nisa and smiled lightly "Hi..."She said cracking her throat due to lack of water.
Nisa hadn’t lifted her eyes right away to look around the room, at least not until she’d heard Sisio’s voice. After that her golden eyes lifted and she eyed the bed for a moment before inching closer. She stepped right up to the side of the bed and looked down at Sisio and smiled weakly. “Hey.” She started. “How… how are you feeling?” She asked quietly. She was pretty sure that she didn’t want to stay too long, especially if Sisio wasn’t really feeling up for company. All she really wanted was to make sure that Sisio was alright and try and see what she knew of the night she’d been hurt, if she could even remember anything.
