Nisa couldn't believe Naio was doing this, she glanced over at the boys and then looked at Naio. "Ya' know, I stayed away from Cain because of rumours about him. Others said he was a bad guy, and look where that got me. I don't believe that Jiro is a bad guy and there is no proof that he is, just your bad vibe of him" She paused and put a hand on her friends shoulder. "I'm sorry Naio, but I'm not going to take a chance of losing out just because of a bad vibe. I mean I almost lost hanging out with Cain because of that too"
Jiro turned his face away, putting his back to the girls again since they were still talking about such things. "I didn't say you had to kill her Cain..." He paused looking over his shoulder at his friend. "You merely mark her, you don't have to draw her blood. Then everyone else will leave her alone, for awhile. I'm sure there are others out there who have smelt that sweet smelling blood she has" He figured he'd get hit for that comment, but he couldn't help it. Nisa's blood smelt different then the other humans. It was tantalizing to say the least. "There is going to be a day that some unfriendly vampire comes out, smelling her blood and takes her away from you..." He smirked. "Do you really want that you happen because you couldn't keep hold of yourself long enough to mark her? Or are you afraid of getting that close to her sweet blood, and not being able to stop?" |
Naio could say any thing more then that and nodded "I won't stop you but just be careful ok I would miss you to much if something bad happened..." She said this and looked at the ground fiddling with her hands. "I'll mark her as soon as I am damn well ready..." he said sqweezing the others shoulder a little to hard.this was something he had to do in his own time he couldn't rush this not with her he wanted to let her pick if this happened or not. |
Nisa smiled hearing that Naio would drop the subject. She reached out and hugged the small girl tightly. "Don't worry Niao, I'll be okay" She was surprised that she had even hugged Naio, but she did care a lot about her friend. "I'd miss you too, imoto-chan..." Did I really just call her little sister? She couldn't believe she said that and meant it. She had hated her real little sister and here she said the words so easily.
Jiro let out a heavy sigh as he finally turned back around. "Well... if that's the case, don't you think you should tell her the truth about your eyes? How are you going to explain protecting her from other vampires when you claim to be blind?" He looked over at Nisa and Naio. "I'll only keep an eye on her for a little while, I don't want to get into it with another of our kind just because you're taking your time with her." Glancing back at Cain he smirked. "Not to mention I'll go after her myself if you have not marked her.... sooner or later, but maybe I'll keep her alive just to screw with you" He laughed joking around with Cain. |
Naio was more then surprised hearing the words fall from her friends mouth but she was more then thankful and hugged the other back. She smiled and replayed the small words over and over again as if her older sister had said them to her. "Your jokes where never that funny do not worry I will mark her just not now its to early and I do not think its really the time I mean look at them... their so sweet together..."He said and smiled taking in the sean."I will tell her every thing soon...soon..." Night would fall soon and all would unfold... As every one headed home a lone male waited around the conner of the off campus dorm. His black hair waving softly in the wind his red eyes bright. He smirked seeing the girls light flick on in her room. He was lucky that her bed room had a window. He jumped up to the legging and waited for the right time to go in. He could smell her sent from here it was so clen and sweet... |
Nisa after turning on the light in her room walked over to her desk. She lingered there for a few minutes as she set her old, damaged book down. She nearly left her book at school, that would have been understandable considering everything that went on today. She noticed a letter on her desk, mail must have been delivered earlier today. She picked up the envelope eyeing the return address, it was from her adopted parents. She let out a heavy sigh and dropped the envelope on top of her desk, she knew the letter was going to be negative and then talk about her adopted little sister. Every letter was the same, they only sent them because they had to. It was a requirement from the school, just to make sure you didn't forget about your child.
She thought about cutting it up, but decided she should probably look at it just in case; But she would save that for later. She then walked over to the wall length mirror that was attached to the wall next to the door to her own private bathroom. Her parents had splurged and bought her the most expensive room the school had to offer, just because they had no intention of letting her return home. She stood in front of the mirror and kicked her uniform shoes off, then put her hands at her sides and un-clamped the tucks in her uniform's button-up shirt. She let out a sigh of relief, it felt good to undo the tucks, the shirt loosened which made her more comfortable. She reached up and gently unbuttoned two buttons from her shirt, just enough to reveal the skin on top of her breasts. She lifted her arms over her head and stretched just before walking over to her bed and sitting down. She leaned over and slid her socks off of her feet. Again, she let a sigh escape her lips just before she let herself fall back on her bed. |
He watched her move around the room and smiled to himself he had to amit she was astrative. He hadn't
been able to look at her had on due to his blindness. Cain saw her starting to undo her shirt and almost turned his head but saw she did not remove it. He sighed lightly and watched her lay down. As she did it sent a whiff of her sent his way the smell of sweet blood rose's was what she smelt like. He smiled to himself as he leaned in and sat on her winnow seel. "what a lovely photo you make Miss Nisa... "Came the now smooth voice of the real Cain he had been holding back due to his new person he had to be at school. He was in a deep red dress shirt that was undone to show the black under shirt. It hung lossely on him as he sat there. His deep black hair hung covring his eyes. |
Nisa jumped when she heard a voice, it sounded a little familiar but she couldn't exactly place it. She sat up quickly and looked over at the window where she heard the voice come from. She was startled to see someone there and stood up from the bed, slowly backing towards her bedroom door. "...W..wh...who are you?" She asked trying desperately not to stutter and appear so scared. As she finally backed up completely to entrance to her room she put her hand on the door and started patting around until her hand finally met with a solid black steel baseball bat. She wrapped her fingers around it tightly and slowly lifted it up from the corner it rested in. "...W.wh..at do.. you want?"

He tilted his head up only one eye visible she laughed
a little thinking she looked cute scared but stood up. "Would you clam down?" He asked and stood up so she could fully see him now. "Is me..." He said and moved over to the bed but not getting to close to her with that bat at her side. "Will you put that down?"He laughed a little bit as he placed his hands in his pockets his eyes covered once more. |
She didn't bother letting go of the bat, not until she was sure she was safe. She moved slowly across the room and stood near her desk. She could see a little more clearly from there. She still didn't quite understand who it was when he said 'It's me' She didn't know anyone who could make it up to a third story window, and climb into the room. She still held onto the bat tightly, as if it was the only thing that could protect her. Her heart started to pound uncontrollably inside her chest. "..I..if you want... me to.. put this bat down... you'd.. have to take.. it from me" She stated trying to appear like she harm him if he came too close.

Cain laughed "For God sakes woman put the bat down its me Cain... I climbed up the fire exscape..." He said this smiling lightly he didn't want to sho her his eyes seeing as it might frighten her more the she already was. "You know its me so please clame down ok?"

She dropped the heavy bat on the floor when she heard him say his name, completely ignoring the fact that the bat made a loud thud when it smacked against the floor. A wave of relief shot over her and her legs gave out under her, causing her to fall to the floor. She sat for a minute just breathing heavily before she actually looked over at him. "Why'd you have to go and scare me like that? You couldn't be like everyone else and use the door?" She sighed softly as she thought about it for a second. "Wait... How did you get up here, let alone find my room if you're blind? And I don't want the excuse that you could smell me"

He sighed and went over to her and kelt down next to
her. "Becouse since you won't belive I am blind I will have to tell you the truth..." He said and brushed the hair from his face showing his bright red eyes now. "I did smell you just in a very different way..." He took her arm so she could not move away"Don't freak out I won't hurt you..." |
She jumped again seeing his eyes, her heart started to beat uncontrollably again. She tried to move herself away from him but she couldn't go anywhere because he had taken hold of her arm, so no matter how hard she pulled she wasn't going anywhere. Not to mention she couldn't have stood up to get away, her legs hurt too much right now. She did the only thing she could, and looked away. She turned her head and looked off towards the window. She was speechless and not sure what to make of everything. Though, at least she was right. He wasn't blind. But what was he?

"Please...Nisa look at me..." He said and gently
placed a hand around her chin moving her head slowly to look at him again. He would not force her but she had to really look at him. "The roomers about me being a monster are true...but I wouldn't hurt any one Nisa I am some thing no one should ever become" He sighed and bit his lip. "This isn't easy for me to say but I am a vampire... a undead...thats why I took off after class your blood smelt to sweet..." |
Nisa had shut her eyes when he started to move her face to look at him. She didn't open them just yet, she sat through what he had to say and shook a little when he said he was a vampire. She didn't think they existed, she thought it was all myth. Unfortunately his excuse for leaving class sorta made sense, if he was really what he said he was. Unvoluntarily every now and again she'd shake and then try to pull herself away from him. She still had yet to open her eyes, she was thinking. Her blood smelt sweet? He could smell blood? If that was true why did he even go to school, there must have been others who smelt... good? Why was she even thinking about this, it was so strange. She finally, reluctantly opened her eyes. Slowly they adjusted from being shut so hard and she looked at him. His eyes, they were such a beautiful shade of red. She was taken by complete surprise, his eyes didn't scare her. They seemed so sincere, and kind regardless of the strange color. "Your eyes..." She paused. "...They're beautiful..." She whispered, not even realising she said that aloud.

Cain felt her shaking and sighed to himself, he had never shown himself you any one like this he didn't want the rejection. This wasn't helping much he was about to let her go but Nsia's eyes slowly opened showing her lovely ones now. he smiled at her saying nothing and just looked deep in to her eyes. He lossned his hold on her ti'll the hand on her chin fell off all together.His eye's went wide now a small ting floating on his cheeks. No one had ever seen his real eyes. Well no one that didn't have te same.Needless to say he had never heard that. They had always been his way to scare his pray, but now thay where beutifule. "Thank you Nsia..." |
Nisa leaned back and rested her back against the wall, she wasn't really as frightened by his appearance as she thought she would. For everything she had read, he didn't look all that different from before. She relaxed a little more and she stopped shaking all together. "Now that you're not blind anymore, don't think this means I'm going to be your nurse" She wasn't really sure why she said that, but she laughed softly expecting it to lighten the mood.

"Oh but there is where you are worng you see
getting up here I scratched my arm you see?" He said and showed her the small cut on her lower arm."So there you have it i still need that nurse..." He said and smiled slyly as he watched her sit back. |
She smirked then braced herself against the wall to help her stand to her feet. Her legs were still pretty sore and having them give out on her just a little while ago didn't help. She fumbled getting to her feet, then stepped around Cain as she made her way to her bathroom door. She wrapped her fingers around the door knob and twisted it open, the disappeared inside for a minutes as she looked for some things. Moments later she returned from the bathroom and sat down on her bed, placing a band-aid and some antibacterial ointment next to her. She smiled slightly as she looked over at him. "You don't need a nurse for such a small cut, I brought some stuff to clean it up. Though I'm pretty sure you're capable of doing that yourself" She said laughing softly.

Cain watched her move up the wall a little frightened that she might fall again. Seeing she had it under control he left her walk in to the bathroom. He stood up as well and waited until she came back. He smiled brightly and walked with her to the bed. He knelt down on both knees. "Still I would love if you would do it..." He asked and smiled up at her and grinned. |
Nisa glanced at Cain and then looked at the stuff she brought out for his cut. She shook her head in disbelief, she couldn't believe he wasn't going to do this himself. But perhaps she asked for it by bringing up the whole nurse thing. "Fine... I'll do it" She stated as she reached over and picked up the tube of ointment. Thinking about it at least the nurse outfit had not been brought up. She smiled slightly as she looked at him. "I just need your arm, where your cut"

Cain laughed lightly and held out his arm for her to
see. It was starting to heal already and he smiled still wanting her to fix it, just to feel her soft hands on his skin once more would feel nice. He loved the way she acted with him "So you happy now that you know the truth?" |
She took his arm and set it on her lap while she unscrewed the top of the ointment. She squeezed the tube putting the ointment on her finger, she rubbed it gently into the cut. She was ignoring the fact that it was already healing itself, thinking nothing of it. She reached for the band-aid and opened it. "It's nice to know the truth, but I don't like the fact you lied to me about it" She stated as she placed the band-aid over the cut, pushing down on it lightly. "...I knew you weren't blind" She finished putting the band-aid on and picked up her trash, and put the top back on the ointment. "All Done"

"Well after living for so long you ger tired of acting
the same way, so you find ways to make your self laugh even if others do not belive you..." He said and watched her work on his cut ever y time her skin brushed his he could feel her uneven heart beat. He laughed to himself so she could not hear. As she was done he smiled and leaned up kissing her cheek. "Thank you thats much better..." He sighed for a moment and didn't know how to ask her this but he just sat back on the bed..." You know other vampires are not so easy to keep away as I am..." |
Nisa blushed terribly when he kissed her cheek. She stood up quickly one hand with trash in it and the other with the tube of ointment. She rushed over to the bathroom and stepped inside for a minute. She tossed the trash into the trash can and put the ointment away. She was about to walk back out, but caught herself in the mirror and saw how red her cheeks were. She couldn't believe they were so red, just from that little peck on her cheek. She wasn't sure how she could hide that, but she looked towards the ground when she finally stepped back out of the bathroom. She stood near the door and braced herself against the wall. "Other vampires?" She paused thinking about it for a moment. Could there really be others? She still didn't look up, she was embarrassed about the color on her face. "There can't be too many, I've lived here for about three years now and you're the first I've ever run into..."
