He aw her face turn bright red and smirked looking
around as she dashed off the the bath room. He thought it was cute how rilled up he could get her but did not mind. he enjoyed that reaction. Once she came back out he shook his head no. "Wrong... I was just bad at hiding that this time you see in this town alone there are 18 vampires living amoung other humans...we are not that different then you..." He said and stood up. |
Nisa lifted a hand to her cheek where he had kissed her, she could feel the heat emanating from her skin. She was still red in the face, her hand lingered there a moment longer. "Eighteen huh?" She paused. "There are a lot more humans in this town than there are vampires. Numerically speaking, the likely-hood of running into another vampire seems very slim"

"That is true but you are lucky you have ran in to three" he said looking at the ground smirking to himself "And like isaid before Nisa not all of them are good like myself or the others you know..." Here came the thought of marking her but he would let her think it over. "Your blood if its ever spelt here they will come from all around...seeking after it after you. That is unless you have the sent of a vampire on you already then that shows they are already taken..." |
She lowered her hand once she felt the heat from her cheeks fade, finally the color was gone. She glanced up a little as her hair fell into her face slightly. "Three?" She thought about it for a moment. Have I really run into three already? Of course Cain was one, but who were the other two? They must have appeared human, or close enough to pass off as one. She sighed softly as she listened to the rest of what he had to say. "A lot of people around here get cut all the time, or hurt. They spill blood and I've never seen or heard of them getting attacked for it. It would be all over the news if a body was found and it was drained of blood. So what makes me so special? That they'd only come after me?" She asked just before remembering something else he said. "And what do you mean by 'taken'?"

Cain nodded "Yes and in time thy might show them selfs
to you when they think its the right time..." He said and moved over to her a little closer. "Yes taken or marked by another vampire. A mark is when a vampire simply bits said humans neck, dose not drink her blood but dose mix the vampires blood with yours to keep them away, the best vampire repeent..." He said smirking. |
Nisa brushed her hair out of her face and pushed it behind her ear. She wasn't exactly sure that she understood what he was telling her. Though was didn't get an answer to one of her questions, so she thought she'd just ask again. "What makes me so special?" She was really curious to know what set her apart from all the other people in town, why would the other vampires come after her in-particular? For a moment, thinking back to what he said to her just a minute ago, she was confused. "What are you getting at, with this whole marking thing?"

He got closer now about arms length to her.
"Your blood is sweet it carries a long way why I don't know but their are the rare people that have that sent that vampires just can't help but long for..." He said and sighed" I wanted to make en offer Nisa please don't be upset" He said ggetting closer now a hand on her neck looking deep in to her eyes "Let me protcet you... let me mark you so no other vampire can ever touch you again..." He said his eyes soft his hand gentle to clame her. |
She started to get nervous as soon as he got close enough to her to place his hand on her neck. She had trouble making eye contact with him now and her glance shifted every few seconds from him to some random place or object in her room. She couldn't help thinking what a strange offer that was and how could she possibly answer that. She didn't want to upset him in anyway, but she really wasn't sure about it. She lowered her head towards the ground, staring at the crack in the wooden floor. "I've only just met you Cain, I don't think I can say yes to that..." She paused, taking in a breath quickly. "...At least not yet"

He watched her and smiled knowing her answer even
before she spoke. He leaned in as she answered and kissed her neck lightly then pulled away steping so he was at lest three foot steps away. "I understand please just think about it, I will not harm you nor will you turn in to what I am...if you want to know any thing else please feel free to ask me" He said this not wanting to push her. "I just want to protect you..." He said and looked back in her eyes. "And ifg i am to do that please know that Jiro is not the safist person to cute yourself next to if you understand..." |
She blushed again when he kissed her cheek. She could feel the heat return to her cheeks, she really wished that wasn't involuntary. She tilted her head down causing her hair to fall back into her face, hiding her colored cheeks. "I..I.I'll think.. about it" She stuttered. "I just want to get to know you better... before I make a decision about something like that" She put her back against the wall applying pressure so she wouldn't slide down to the floor. "...What do you mean about Jiro" She paused thinking about him for a moment. "He seems really nice..."

Cain smiled "He is like me ...a vampire yet he isn't as
controlled as I am Nisa so please careful..." He said this and brushed her hair away from her face. "Don't hide that face please..." he pleaded and softly stepped away. "I have to go please just be careful and close your window..." |
Nisa couldn't help but smile softly when he moved her hair out of her face. She couldn't help but try and hide her face when he made her blush like that, it was so embarrassing. No one before him had ever made her cheeks change color like that. The feeling that rushed through her body was something she had never felt before and she couldn't explain it.
She thought about Jiro for a moment after hearing what Cain said. He was a vampire too? That actually made sense, considering Jiro had said he grew up with Cain. Still, she didn't think he was a bad guy. At least he didn't appear to be. "Don't worry Cain. I'll be fine" Nisa moved away from the wall and stepped slowly closer to Cain. Standing mere inches away from him she smiled again and wrapped her arms around him, hugging him for the first time. "I'm sorry you have to leave so soon..." She whispered resting her head to his chest. |
Cain smiled "Hes a good kid just a little...thirsty"
He said and looked at her. As She hugged him his eyes went wide but he hugged her back and held her close. "Come now tomorrow is school you'll see me then..." He said and moved to kiss the top of her head. |
Nisa smiled warmly and let go of him moving over to her bed and sitting down on it. "...I know..." She mumbled. "It's like you just got here and now you're leaving again, kind of like at school when you left after Art" She sighed softly. "But I will see you tomorrow.."

"True and its the same thing I can't be around you
for very long with out wanting to take a little bite" He said and looked at her sitting there. "I don't have the strenth to keep myfangs from that unspoiled neck for much longer..." He wanted to take a sip simply to wet his lips with her blood. |
"That's just a little disturbing Cain... Definitely not something you ever tell the girl you end up in love with" She chuckled slightly at the thought. "You'll run her away scared" She looked towards her window. "So are you leaving the same way you came in?"

He laughed and brushed his hair back
"Well you didn't run so I think I am safe..." He said and smiled. "Yeah and to let you know there is no fire escape..."He said and winked at her "Good night miss Nisa..."He said this sitting in the window and fell bac head over heels landing on the ground softly. |
After seeing him fall out of her window she got up from her bed quickly and rushed over to the window herself. Seeing that he'd made it down safe she relaxed a little. At first she freaked out forgetting he wasn't exactly human, she thought he'd get hurt. She looked down at him with her hands resting on the window. She smiled and shook her head a little. It was going to take some getting used to, him not being human that is. Or Jiro for that matter, how many other people did she know that were Vampires. Wait, there was one more person she knew according to what Cain had said. But who?

Cain looked back up at her and blew a soft kiss up
to her. He mouthed the word goodnight and moved in to the shadows. He loved being with that girl and he would love to make her his but that was all up to her... Naio sighed as she sat out side of school her long hair in two braids now. She was so hungrey and she hated it but she had to leave the dorms after smelling her friends blood. She hadn't been able to get a blood donner in a long time and it was starting to get to her. |
Nisa stood at the window until she could no longer see Cain. She walked away from her window accidentally leaving it open and walked over to the desk, picking up the letter from her parents that she had yet to open. She looked at it as she made her way back to her bed, she dropped the envelope on the bed and started to button her shirt the rest of the way. She smiled thinking about how long Cain was watching her before. She was reminded while unbuttoning her shirt. Nisa wandered over to her dresser and pulled out a tank top and a pair of baggy sleep pants then disappeared into the bathroom to change.
She came back out moments later with her uniform in hand and wearing her pajamas. She set her uniform down on her dresser and then walked back to her bed picking up the letter and then sitting down on her bed again. She fought with herself on opening it or not. Jiro had been out most of the night walking around searching for the perfect human to drink from. With little luck, most people appeared to already be inside and he didn't want to break into someones house unless he was dying of thirst. He glanced over as he was walking past the off-campus dorms. He grinned when he saw Naio that little girl from before. Jiro walked up quietly and stood next to her. "My, don't you look cute with your hair done up in twin braids?" |
Naio's eyes went wide hearing the mans voice next to her.She turned and hissed lightly eyes narrowed despite the light pinkness on her cheeks they might have been brighter if she had more blood in her small body. "Why are you here...if its to peek as Nisa you can forget about it..." |
Nisa finally decided to just open the letter, if she didn't she was sure she'd regret it later. She dug her finger nail under the flap of the envelope and ripped it open. Glancing inside it wasn't a very long letter, it was only one page long. She pulled the paper out and tossed the envelope on the floor. She slowly, reluctantly opened the letter and began reading it.
Jiro smirked and put his hand on her head and rubbed back and forth like she was petting an animal. "I was out searching for an easy drink" He stated with a smile. "Though, now that you mention it... Nisa does smell especially nice tonight" He laughed softly. "Maybe I should pay her a visit" He was joking around of course, he did promise Cain he would leave Nisa alone for a little while. He also remembered that Cain told him Naio wouldn't let him near Nisa, so it was fun to act like he wanted a drink from Nisa's neck. |
Niao growled at him as he petted her hair, she didn't
move though. When she heard him talk about Nisa like that her eyes turned bright red with anger. "Don't you even lay one hand on her you loathsome filth..." she had takken his hand and was tightly griping it looking in to his eyes now. She would never let any one hurt her friend her sister never... |
"Aww.. Ain't that cute. Little girl has some bite" He stated with a smirk commenting on her grip on his hand. "You worry too much sweetie. Cain and I have an agreement and I won't touch her... for awhile" He smiled. "You on the other hand, he said nothing about messing with you. So I guess your fair game" He laughed again.

"I will never lt you touch her deal or no deal...I know
little about this Cain or yourself..but I will keep my promise to never let her die" She said and pulled away from him jumping down from the wall now only coming to his mid chest."God look at you a poor exsuse for a vampire...blood lusting after anything with blood.." |
