"I thought think so too..."She got up and moved
to stand in front of him, if he would not come to
her she would come to him. She looked as he swang
slowly. She got closer and made his stop carefully
by grabbing the chain on either side of him. Her
eyes where soft even ehough her cheeks where tear
stained. "You really think so...?" She asked her tone
smooth like before sweet and enticing.

He dug his feet into the ground when she made the swing stop. What was with this girl? Did she really need so much attention right now that she was willing to stop what he was doing. He sighed softly. "Yes, I really think so.." He stated looking at her eyes again.

She looked down and smirked her soft tone falling
"I think so too..."was all she said before with
ease she pushed the boy back on to the ground
like Jiro before and pined him there. She didn't
look at his face but she could feel his heart beat
with shock as she did so.

She moved one hand moving his shirt down so his neck
was exposed. She licked her lips and slowly bent down
and bit in. The sweet taste of blood filled her mouth.

Nisa was really early for school the next morning. She'd gotten a lot of sleep in such a short time and had spent nearly an hour in the shower trying to get herself cleaned up. She had noticed when she woke up in the morning and made her way to the bathroom that her neck was still covered in blood and the fact that she went to bed with blood on her neck it spread all over her pillow and onto her face from tossing and turning. She scrubbed herself clean until she could no longer see the blood and made sure she put her perfume on before she left for school in the morning. She was in such a hurry to get to school that she even left her book on the desk.

Once she made it to school she scrambled around the court yard until she made it to her usual bench. She sat down and looked around a little, something she didn't usually do because she was usually buried in a book. She fumbled with her fingers while she wondered why she didn't take longer getting ready. She was at school almost a whole hour early and she couldn't even enter the building yet. While she sat there she worried more about her sister who was supposed to arrive at school within the next couple days. What was she going to do then, with the vampires around her? She let out a heavy sigh.

Cain was already at school surprisingly in the tree she
now sat under, bit something bothered him. That smell
one she wore o much perfume. Two she had his smell on
her. Needless to say he wasn't happy with who he didn't
quite know yet. "Good morning miss Nisa..." Came his
calme voice from with in the tree. If one looked up
they could see he was sitting up there. "How was
your night?" He asked a little irked tone to his
voice now.

Naio walked from her room having already taken a shower
from last night. She had not killed the boy from last
night but merely drank what she needed like Jiro said.
She was not looking forward to seeing him, she knew he
would be here after school. But as she smelt that blood
on Nisa and hen Cain not to far off maybe he wouldn't be
showing his face for some time...

Nisa was startled when she heard Cain's voice and fell backwards off the bench. She threw her arms up and pulled her skirt down while still laying on the ground, looking up at him. "Oh... Hi Cain.." She replied not bothering to get up, her face a little pink from holding her skirt down so nothing could be seen. "..My night?" She paused remembering all that happened last night. "...Um..." She sighed. "It was... interesting... to say the least"

"Hn I can smell that..."He said and jumped down
from the tree knowing no one was watching he bent
over and lifted her up bridle style. He didn't look
pleased but he gently set her down back on the bench.

He sat next to her and looked to the gates "I am not
stupid I know he came near you either this morning or
last night after I left...please tell me that happened"
he asked his voice saddened slightly thinking he had
marked her.

She felt extremely embarrassed after he picked her up off the ground and then felt worse when he asked her what happened. She didn't want to say anything but how did he know something happened last night? She wasn't sure and then it hit her, he must have been able to smell the blood from last night. She sighed and lowered her head, her eyes pointed towards the ground. "..." She paused not sure what to say. "...Naio and... Jiro came.. over" She wanted to look up at him, but she feared the look on his face when he heard Jiro's name. What was she supposed to tell him next? That nothing happened? Like he would ever believe that...

"Nisa... I know the did...what i want to know is..."
He hsatated and bit his lip griping his hands tightly
in to fist's. "Did he bite you Nisa?"He said seeming on'eage. He just wanted to know if he was waisting his
time with her. He cared for her yes, but their had been
others he cared for as well this was nothing new.Was
it?"Nisa... its ok if he did but...let me know at
lest if he did or did not its killing, ever since you
sat down"

Nisa without hesitating she turned towards Cain with her eyes on the verge of tears "He didn't, I swear it!" After saying that she turned her head back towards the ground and wiped her arm past her eyes. "..." She paused for a moment. "...He didn't know what he was doing... He got scared and left a little after Naio did..." She fumbled her fingers around. "You can check me... everywhere... You won't find anything"

Even though I would love to take you up on that..."
He said placing a hand under her chin to tilt it up
"I believe you... the fool doesn't know when to control
himself when he hasn't had any thing to eat..." He said
and moved to gently wipe her tears away with his thumb.
"Please don't cry...I just get..protective over people
I care about..."

He leand in and kissed her fore head and made it so
she leaned her head on his shoulder as they sat there.
"Now will you lead me to class when its time or are you
going to make me run in to another poll?" He asked
trying to joke a little with her. He hated seeing her
upset.

She felt a little better hearing him say that he believed her and resting her head on his shoulder almost seemed to make everything better. She let out another sigh and gently placed her hand on his leg. "Don't get upset at Jiro, please" She started closing her eyes with a huff. "Naio would've beat him to me if she had not run away when she did... At least that was the impression I got from everything that happened last night..." She tightened her grip slightly on his leg not intentionally trying to hurt him. "I...I.. think it's dangerous for you all to be around me..." She mumbled. "It just appears that I'm too much temptation for you all... Even you said that you had to leave me last night for the same reason.." She started to get quiet now, taking longer pauses between things she had to say. "...I..I saw... what the marks look like... Naio bit Jiro... pretty hard..." She bit her lip; Nervous reaction. "..I don't... think.. I could handle that pain that Jiro.. hid from the bite..." She was mumbling worse now, making it more difficult to hear what she was saying. "I...i.. wish my blood... wasn't.. special.." She ran her arm past her eyes once more to wipe away the tears that were starting to form again. "You're... the..fir..st.. guy to .... make me... feel... this way.." She placed a hand over her heart and felt it pounding within her chest. "...and... we can't.. really be.. like all the.. other ...." Her voice trailed off, she wanted to finish that sentence, all she needed was to say 'couples' but she couldn't say anything else. She'd already said more than enough and shut her eyes hard not wanting them to open. She just wanted to pretend this was all some bad dream.

Cain smiled he knew what she was saying and placed his
hand on hers now and gentle squeezed it. He could feel
her slight tremble from the worry she felt for Jiro.
"I won't be as long as your not hurt, some times he
just losses sight, but just to make sure he can't come
in so easily next time please lock your window at night.
If I come over I'll try and use the door..." He laughed
but stopped feeling her still sad. He hated seeing her
hurt he didn't like it at all. "Its not dangerous not as
long as every one knows the rules no visiting if you
haven't fed that night, please don't be so sad..."

But
as she went on he knew what this was really about and
sighed slightly and pulled her closer his lips nuzzling
her neck lightly. He kissed it once and moved o her ear.
Marking isn't like that..you saw a spat between vampires
that is much different then marking"He though for a
moment then smiled. "Marking is much like sex to us... but
no cloths come off you see... its showing you care for the other
and want to keep them safe. Just like a girls first time it hurts
but it is just to after that they feel nothing but great things...
do you understand?"

Nisa flinched slightly when he placed his hand on hers; She wasn't expecting him to do that. She let out a soft sigh when he mentioned locking her window at night. She was just now remembering that he had asked her to do that last night and she forgot. She couldn't believe it, she could have easily avoided everything that happened if she had just remembered to close the window. She sighed again "I'll try to remember to lock it..." She mumbled feeling silly about forgetting.

Once he moved close and kissed her neck her cheeks started to turn a light red color. Then her heart beat sped up a little. She smiled faintly until he finished what he had to say, by then she felt a rush of emotions run over her. Her heart felt like it was going to burst forth out of her chest, her cheeks were now bright red and she tilted her head down so that her hair would fall in her face covering up all the color. She felt a little uncomfortable with his comparison. If marking was indeed like sex, then that was a whole different story all together. Sure she already had some feelings for Cain but that type of relationship so soon crept her out a little. She paused and without raising her head responded to him "...I hope you understand that I'm still not sure I'm ready for that... I've only just met you... And by the sounds of it..." She took a deep breath. "...That sounds like a huge commitment..."

"Well only on my part..." He said and kept close to
her ear not knowing who could be around now. "I, in
marking you, will have a lasting contract with you
to keep you safe and out of harms way" He said and
layed his other hand on her wasit to pull her closer.
"You don't have to do any thing but let me be near you
I ask for no blood nor love just to keep you safe..."

He said this feeling her heart racing still, "Nisa I
care for you and will wait for what you want, just
untell then keep yourself safe...ok?" He asked and
gently kissed her neck once more. His lips felt the
fast rush of the others blood pass his lip's. He
pulled his lips away and smiled down at her.

Nisa continued to not look up she felt it was easier to talk about such things without making eye contact with him. She gave a light hearted sigh and shook her head "But Cain... it would still be a commitment on my part as well" She tightened her grip to his leg. "...As long as I would be marked, I couldn't live a normal life" She peeked up briefly through the strands of her red hair and then lowered her face again. "I wouldn't be able to have a normal relationship based off of love for another person. You'd always be there... And since you don't ask for love from me then you'd just be towering over my every thought. It would be nearly impossible for me to... ya' know... have feelings for someone else knowing you'll always be around..."

Her heart rate started to regulate once again, while she relaxed a bit. "I know your not like me... and I don't expect you to understand..."

Cain felt a stab of pain as she talked of other men but
he knew that she was much different then him. She didn't
have a long time here she couldn't play with him as
he wished, givving her one last hug he slipped away from
her fully tiping her head up with one hand. He showed
no sign that he was hurt the same soft smiled on his
lips. "That I understand thats why I do not ask nor
force you now to do so, but at lest allow me to be there
now if you need it..." She was right they could never
be like other people thier love would always be strained
by time.

Nisa moved her head away from him, not wanting to look him in the eyes. She stood up and moved away from the bench and gave a heavy sigh. "You may not be like me, but your definitely a boy..." She muttered staring down at the cracks in the cement below her feet. She couldn't believe that male vampires and male humans had something in common, they both thought like men. Apparently that was universal regardless of species. She crossed one arm over the other and looked towards the doors to enter the school. Why was it taking so long for classes to start? This on the spot talking like this was boiling her emotions, any more and they'd probably shatter. She gave another small sigh. 'When is Naio going to get here... she could give me something else to think about' She thought to herself looking up for a second then dropping her gaze back to the ground below her.

"Well I know one thing for sure thats when to leave
miss Nisa I will see you in class..." He said and stood
up he could see how tence she was and would not ask for
a answer from her just then. He slowly walked in to the school brushing off how she acted. He had lived a long
time and knew that love was fleeting mostly with human
girls even more so with lady vampires...

Naio walked in to the school yard a few moments after
Cain had left. She looked brighter today her face had
color in it. Something her friend might not have seen
in some time. Even when she fed she never had her fill
it was always small animals and never a human but last
night it had all changed...

Nisa looked up just in time to see Cain enter the school. She gave a heavy sigh then noticed Naio had arrived, finally. She remembered what went on last night just as she saw her friend but tried to keep that behind her. She approached Naio and forced a smile onto her face. "Hey... about last night..." She paused and fidgeted with her hands. How she wished she had not forgotten her book. "...I didn't mean to hurt your feelings"

Naio looked up at her friend her blood not so inviting
now.She smelt the boys blood her cheeks red now she
didn't know what to say to her " Nisa I am a big girl
despite what I may look like... I just left because of
that boy I can't stand him..." She said and sighed light
heartedly she didn't want Nisa worrying over her she was
fine and would leave her anger for the boy that she now
smelt of.

"Nisa I...didn't tell you about what I was becouse I
was selfish I wanted the big sister I lost a while
ago...unlike Jiro I wasn't born like this I was
turned when I was only 14...but thats for another day.
But tell me if you knew would you think of me the same,
the little Naio the shy girl that you knew?" She said
looking up at her a grown woman seeming to shine though.

She couldn't help but smile, she was relieved that Naio wasn't angry with her. Seeing her run off like that last night really made her think she was. Though at the same time it did make sense that Naio was more angry at Jiro then anyone else last night. Nisa smiled again and walked closer to Naio she wrapped her arms around her and gave her a hug. "Naio, your still my friend even if you're different then I am. You'll always be little Naio, no matter how old you are on the inside" She released the hug and backed up a few steps. "Ya' know... friendships are a lot easier to maintain then...relationships" She paused and shook her head. "..No... Never mind, forget I said that.." Why in the world was I thinking that. She sighed heavily and turned away from her friend and walked over to the bench she was sitting on before and plopped herself down on it.

She rested her elbows on her knees then rested her head in her hands. She shut her eyes and lost herself in thought. He doesn't want that type of relationship... but why is that bothering me? I don't even know him that well. Maybe it's better if I don't get to know him, considering we're from two different worlds. She sighed again. I would hate for my feelings to grow and then receive nothing from him. Why did the first guy I run into, that seems to like me have to be a vampire.... Someone who couldn't return the feelings? She opened her eyes after thinking for awhile and looked down at the cracks in cement. "...why can't things like this be simple..."

Naio blushed lightly when her friend came closer to her.
She wanted nothing more then to tell her every thing but
something seemed off today and she kept it to herself
for now. She moved and looked up at her friend knowingly
"Thank you Nisa...I feel you mean that..." She said
raising a brow as she spoke of relationships.

She sighed and smiled knowing what, or more who, she was talking about. She moved over and sat with her "You are
a confusing girl Nisa...some times i think not even you
get you" She said and laughed a little bit. She looked
up at the sky and closed her eyes the sun just that much to bright today for her liking."Just let things unfold
fate always give us the right path we just have to make
the right choice's in this life.

Nisa looked over at Naio trying to sort through everything she was thinking about. Things just didn't make a lot of sense to her once she started over analyzing everything. Perhaps she was worrying about this too much. She sighed softly "I guess you're right Naio... It can't hurt to see how it works out.." On the other hand, she was thinking it could turn out good or bad though she always prepared for the worst.

She stood up from the bench and smiled down at Naio. "I'm going to run home really fast and grab my book, I doubt I could make it through the rest of the day without it" After that she started to walk towards the exit of the school grounds. "I'll see you later okay"

Naio looked back to her friend and stood up as
well and nodded her head. "This is true just trust
what your hear and heart agree on ok?" She asked and
stood up watching her friend take off to her home.
"Just be safe, see you in there..."She called out and
moved to head in to the school.
