Nisa turned past the gated wall of the school grounds entrance and once she was out of sight started to run back to the off campus dorms. She was in a hurry to get the book and then head back. She wasn't really paying attention to the people around her as she was heading back home, there usually weren't very many people out to begin with. Without even noticing she ran into someone and it caused her to fall backwards and land on her butt, catching herself with her hands. She glanced up briefly "..I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going"

The man she bumped into didn't even stumble backwards when she hit him. He stood with his hands in his pockets staring down at her with a glare. His black hair framed his pale face perfectly, his dark eyes piercing. He didn't speak at first he just stared at her. He slowly pulled one hand from his pocket and adjusted his uniform jacket and then extended his hand to her to help her up.

Nisa looked up at him, he looked older than she was which made her feel even more embarrassed to have run into him. She reached up and took his hand and got to her feet. She went to pull her hand back and he didn't let go right away, she pulled a second time and he released her hand. She fixed her skirt and looked up at the man again. "I'm really sorry for running into you..." She bowed her for moment and started to walk past him and head to her dorm.

He grabbed her arm just as she started to walk past and held her there. His eyes shifted to look at her, though he never moved his face. He too was a vampire, but she would never be able to tell. Though, he on the other hand could smell the blood within her. She was definitely going to be a target, her blood would satisfy so many including his partner Suzu. He forced a fake smile "It's alright Miss. May I walk you to where you were heading? Just to make sure you're not hurt?" He asked so politely, such a gentleman, how could anyone say no to him?

Naio walked in to the art class taking her seat in the
back. She and Cain where the only ones in the class.
"Thank you for not saying any thing..."She said looking
at her books not at the male in the room. She didn't
know why but she disliked males, so saying thank you
was hard for her.

Cain just smiled and nodded his head "Please don't
worry about it..."He said this and moved to look out
the window not seeing her there. "Where did she go?"
he knew he needed to let her go but even after these
two days he cared for her.

Nisa looked up at the man when he grabbed her, she didn't think he meant to but he was hurting her arm. She tried to pull away but he wasn't letting go. He was oddly so polite when he spoke, but something about him crept her out. "Um... I guess so" She paused and looked away from him. "Would you let go of my arm? I'm in sort of a hurry... And since you're walking me home, can I have your name?"

He looked at her once more before letting go of her arm "Kano Takeda" He muttered turning around on his heal and standing next to her. "You are?" He would follow behind her once she started walking.

"My name is Nisa Shiomi, nice to meet you Kano" She stated faintly smiling as she started to walk back home. She knew that she would surely be late for her first class but she didn't want to take the chance of hurting herself anymore. Her ankle was sore from her fall and was afraid it would bruise. So she'd be stuck walking home and all the way back to school. She started to near the off campus dorms and checked over her shoulder to see if Kano was still following her. Indeed, he had not left yet and he didn't even have his eyes open while he walked. How strange. Upon arriving at the dorms Nisa stopped right outside the double doors to the stairs that would lead up to the third floor. She turned and looked at Kano "Thank you for walking me here, I think I can make it up to my room on my own"

Kano stood quiet for a few seconds as if he was lost in thought, his hands tucked neatly in his pants pockets. "I should help you up those flights of stairs, Miss Nisa" He stated in the same polite manner as before. "I won't take no for an answer, your ankle is already turning blue" He faked a smile and walked closer to her kneeling down low enough to pick her up. He placed one arm under her knee's and the other at her back. "What floor?"

Nisa looked away as soon as he picked her up, she even blushed lightly. "Um... the third" She stuttered nearly in awe that this man she ran into was willing to carry her all the way up to her door. She didn't move and sat quietly as he entered the building and began to scale the stairs. He was so tall that he was able to take three stairs at a time and they made it to the third floor in no time at all. Nisa glanced down the hall and then looked at Kano "Fourth door on the right... It says Shiomi on the placard" This hall was different than the two below it, this was the expensive hall. Only five rooms across each side of the hall as compared to ten on each side on the lower floors.

Kano held onto Nisa tightly as he continued to carry her to her door. He passed by the doors until he came to door number four, Shiomi. "Miss Nisa, go ahead and open the door. I'll set you down on your bed and then leave you" He again, using the same polite tone and fake smile got her to do what he asked her to. Within a few moments she had pulled her key out and reached down opening the door still while in the grasp of his arms. He turned his back to the door and entered walking backwards. As soon as he was inside he turned around and walked her over to the bed and set her down gently. "You should stay off your ankle. We wouldn't want anything bad happening to you now would we?" He stated with an oddly placed grin.

Nisa couldn't help but feel a little strange when she saw him grin and what did he mean by "We" who else was he talking about? She shook her head and brushed the thought from her mind. "Thank you... for carrying me up here, but you can leave now Kano" She was quite nervous and in an odd way, she wasn't sure why though.

Kano looked around her room for a few minutes, just standing there with his hands in his pants pockets. "Alright Miss Nisa" He stated and started to walk to her door. Upon reaching it he opened it, then while she couldn't see him clearly he bit his finger tip and dripped his blood on the top of the door. No one would be able to see it, and it was his way of remembering which places held targets. He only used this method with really special targets. He smeared the blood into the wood and then removed his hand and peeked back towards Nisa "I'll see you again soon, Miss Nisa" He replied with a pleasantly fake smile just before exiting the room and leaving the building.

Nisa watched him leave the room and stumbled to her feet as soon as the door clicked shut. She limped over to the door and turned the lock. She couldn't exactly place it but she was a little uncomfortable around that guy, but he was right she did need to stay off her ankle for the day. It was already swollen and it was starting to turn funny shades of blue and black. "I didn't think I hurt it that badly when I fell..." She mumbled as she limped across the room to her window. She pushed the panes open and peered outside, she saw Kano for a brief second and then he vanished practically in thin air. "My eyes must be playing tricks on me..." She left her window open for some air and limped over to her desk, grabbing her book and then making her way back to her bed. She practically fell onto her bed in pain, but managed to work through it long enough to prop her leg up and get comfortable reading her book. After a few hours she would drop her book and fall asleep.

Cain got out of school he had no other classes with
Nisa so he had not yet to see she had not been in
school, when he saw Naio he asked if she had seen her
and she shook her head no and stood with him looking
around.

Naio was worried knowing Nisa always came to school
she started to head off campuses. Yet as she walked
off the grounds she smelt the air her eyes going wide
and rushed off.

Cain raised a brown and laughed a little until he smelt
the other vamps blood. She growled and ran off right
next to Naio. The ran to her room but Naio stopped and
showed Cain she would go in first then say something if
something was wrong. She knocked on the door lightly...

Nisa had fallen asleep while reading her book. The book was now laying open on the floor as she was fast asleep with her hand hanging over the side of the bed. She was covered by her blanket so you wouldn't be able to tell that her ankle was injured.

She shifted slightly in her sleep when there was a knock on the door but didn't wake up. She would probably sleep through any and all attempts to wake her from the beyond the door. The door was locked earlier before Nisa fell asleep and the only way into her room would be through the window she again, left open.

Cain was starting to get worried now seeing she wasn't
answering to the,. He moved down the stairs once more and out to the street seeing the window was open. He
moved and jumped through the window he didn't know
who or what was waiting inside all that mattred that
she was safe. He moved inside now seeing she was just
sleeping, he growled lightly still wanting to know
where the blood smell was coming from...

Nisa's finger tips grazed the top of the book while she still lay asleep on the bed. She had not heard Cain enter her room through the window, though she tossed and turned with the feeling that someone was in her room. She continued to wrestle around her bed until she woke herself up, she blinked the sleep from her eyes and pushed herself up to a seated position. She jumped slightly when her eyes focused on Cain and she scrambled nervously picking up her blanket and covering herself up. Nervous reaction, that was all. She looked over at him once she calmed down a bit and faintly smiled "Cain... When did you get here?"

Cain moved seeing her wake and sighed crossing his
arms in front of him. "Well when I didn't see you at
school and smelt vampire blood from you room...Naio
came too but your door was locked" He said sounding
slightly perturbed at the thought of her not saying
an thing to the teachers.

She gave a small sigh at the tone he was using. "I meant to go back to school Cain... I came back to get my book, that's all" She shifted and grabbed the blanket that was covering her ankle and moved it away. Even if you weren't up close you could see just how baldy she had hurt herself. The whole ankle was nearly twice the size it should be from the swelling not to mention it was black and blue. Without even looking down to see her ankle she looked up at Cain, "I couldn't possibly walk back to school like this. Now could I?"

He looked at her then at her foot and sighed
"I am not upset with you we where worried there
is the smell of a vampire in here that is not
one of us..." He said She sat at the end of the
bed. "How did you end up like this Nisa?"

She quirked a brow when she heard there was the smell of another unknown vampire in her room. But how could that be? She didn't know any other vampires then the ones that were her friends. Not to mention she didn't usually have a lot of people in her room. She sighed. "Oh! My ankle? I was running home to get my book and then before I knew it I had run into someone. I fell backwards and got hurt somewhere along the way..." She glanced down at her ankle suddenly remembering everything that happened. How did I forget about him? The man who walked her home and carried her to her room. But he couldn't be a vampire could he?

Cain thought about it for a moment then sighed and
looked her anckle over. "You seem to do that allot"
He said thinking about Jiro and how they had met.
"He must be the one we smelt... did he do any thing
to you, did you feel any thing off about him Nisa?"
He asked hearing some one else come through the window.


"Thanks for leaving me out there Cain..." He almost hissed as she came in fixing her hair up. She then walked over to Nisa and sat right next to her.
"You ok sweetie?"

Nisa smiled when she saw Naio come into her room "I'm alright, just really sore. That's all" She looked over to Cain reluctant to say anything more about the guy from earlier. She didn't like how Cain reacted sometimes, at least when it came to stuff like this. She sighed lightly. "He was a complete gentleman, very polite. He wore a unique uniform that I've never seen before, dark hair, pale skin. He was nice enough to carry me up the three flights of stairs and to my door" She did think he was being really nice, but she wasn't completely sure about him. There was something about Kano that crept her out but she wasn't sure what it was. And when he left her room saying he would see her again soon, that just made her shiver as she remembered it. But why?

Naio shook a little hearing her talk about the
man and bit her lip slightly. "Nisa what was the
boys name did he tell you?"She asked this hoping
that the boy she met was not the boy she smelt on
her door post. Yet no matter how much she wished
she knew every thing was pointing to him.

Cain nodded his head "If you say so..."He said and
stood up and moved to the window just looking out
the window. He could feel her tremble but he didn't
say any thing knowing this wasn't his place.

Nisa watched Cain walk over to the window, if she had not felt so much pain in her leg when she tried to walk on it she would have gotten up and walked over to him. Right now she was angry at herself for the pain she was feeling.

Looking over at Naio she smiled softly, "Of course I got his name. He was being a gentleman like I said before. Though, he didn't speak a lot. Which I thought was a little strange" She paused and tried to remember his last name, but she couldn't. "I can't seem to remember his last name right now, but he did say his name was Kano"

Thats all she needed she knew just from that, that this
blood this boy was from her clan. She knew him all to
well she grew up with him even before she was turned.
More then once was she tricked by his charm. "Please
Nisa if he ever comes back act the same yet please
come find me or Cain he is not safe at all...if he
comes back for you it won't be a good thing..."

As she said this Cain tensed up he hated kn owing that
some one that dangrouse could have gotten to her with
out him or Naio knowing. He stayed slient now thinking
over what might be to come.

"What do you mean won't be a good thing?" She questioned glancing over at Cain for a second seeing the way he reacted briefly when Naio said what she did. "Why do I need to find one of you? Kano was really nice... Are you sure you guys aren't just freaking out? I mean you told me to stay away from Jiro and nothing bad has happened yet.." She stated fighting with herself in her thoughts. Half of her wanted to believe what Naio said and just stay away from him, but the other half didn't want to believe it because of how nice Kano had been to her.

"Nisa he will kill you this i know for sure, maybe not
himself but he will take you back to the coven we where
in and then others will feed off you... its a hell..."
She said looking down biting her lip hard. "Nisa please
I may have been wrong about JIro I know but this boy
I know I know him verry well..."

She looked away for a moment thinking to herself. How could any of that be true? She couldn't imagine it, he was so nice to her before and pleasant so it made no sense at all. She glanced over at Naio. "But if he is so bad, then why didn't he take me when he had a perfect chance? I mean I was injured, I clearly couldn't get away and I was in his arms... So why didn't he take me away?" She shook her head. "I just don't see it Naio..."

"They do not take their pray at first... they knew
me for three years before doing any thing. I just
don't want to see you hurt. Not just from the bites
but the heart as well, to trust some one so much then
have them hurt you...you know what thats like Nisa
do you want that again if you can stop it? She asked this and wanted her friend to just understand and not
fight. She wasn't going to talk about her past if
she did not have have to.

"I still don't see it Naio..." She was trying not to argue with her friend, at least not intentionally. She let out a sigh and glanced over at Cain. He was awfully quiet through all this. "I still think he would've taken me when he had a clear chance to if he was really as bad as you're saying he is..." She mumbled almost in a defeated tone.

"Nisa you don't understand how our world works, we have
time to kill. People like them like to hunt pay with
thier food if you will. If you wish to die see him again
we are only trying to help you..."Cain said his eyes
still locked out side. He was tired of trying to get her
to understand what this boy ment.

Naio nodded "even though the last part was wrong about
seeing him he is right Nisa we are hunters by law we
knew nothing else they will kill you inside and out so
when they have you nothing matters any more and you just
do as they say...we can not pick who you see or what you
do but please take what we say to heart..."

Nisa glared at Cain when he finally spoke up, how in the world could he speak like that. Say something so mean and then try to make it better by saying he was only trying to help. Hearing that from him and then being angry about it made her completely ignore what Naio said afterwards. It was like she couldn't hear anything but Cain had said, like it was ringing over and over again in her ears. 'If you wish to die see him again'. She was frustrated now, she threw her hands down on either side of her body and pushed herself up from her bed. She didn't say a word and limped as quickly as she could to her bedroom door, unlocked it and left the room slamming the door shut behind her. She angrily stumbled down the hall towards the stairs. "...He wants me to understand how their world works? Why should I even try when he doesn't understand me?" She spat in a fit of anger as she braced herself against the railing of the staircase.

"Thats it..." He said lowly to himself as he
climbed out the window and made his way to meet
her half way down the stairs. "I have had it...
all we are doing is trying to help Nisa...we are
not being mean to you we are not taking away your
freedom...we are trying to stop you from dying is
that so bad?" He asked seeming more hurt and
fustrated then any thing. He wanted to help her
but if she would not heed one worning she would
die. "Please Nisa ...."He said in a lower tone a
pleeding one."If not for me for your best friend
Naio... at lest hear her out. She knows the boy
best dose she not?"

Nisa stopped trying to brace herself on the step looking down at Cain "...You've had it?" She muttered. "I've had it, you keep treating me like I'm this subspecies compared to you. Okay so I can't completely protect myself from your kind but that doesn't make me any less better than you are" She looked away. "And excuse me for double checking too much, I didn't know it was a crime to make sure what you said about a person didn't change. I mean I don't exactly have complete trust in either of you. You both didn't tell me what you were right away, and you were wrong about Jiro" She moved around Cain and walked down a few more stairs before stopping again. "And I have heard what Naio has said, I believe her, I think. I just don't want to believe her because I met the guy. Is that really all that hard to understand?" She turned and looked back up at Cain. "I heard plenty of nasty rumors about you, and I'm still here getting to know you because when I first met you, I liked you. Now I'm not so sure..." She mumbled not intending to lean forward like she did putting too much pressure on her bad ankle, and she slipped causing her to fall down a few steps only to hurt her ankle more.
