Zach waited outside while Jack told the Elder everything that had happened. When he saw the Elder leave the room, Zach went back in and walked over to Jack. "What'd you tell him?" He asked and sat down on the bed next to him, taking his hand. "I know that it probably isn't any of my business, but I love you and I don't want us to keep any secrets from each other." Zach leaned down and he kissed Jack.

Jack smiled some and looked at Zach. "the entire truth." he smiled before kissing back. "oh Zach I really hope nothing like that will ever happen to you... "he whispered before stroking his hair back. "I don't want to keep any secrets...To you I'm an open book." he promised.

Zach smiled and he kissed Jack's cheek. "And I will be just as open to you as you are to me," Zach told his lover and then laid down on the bed and arched his back a little bit as he stretched.

The redhead vampire opened his eyes and looked at the young man and smiled. "Right now...I'd like to rest a bit...Okay?" he asked him with a small whisper.
"I love you..."

Zach smiled and nodded. "That's fine with me," He told him and smiled back. "I love you too." The younger vampire, gently pulled Jack down to his chest and held him there, playing with his hair.

Jack smiled and just rested with him gently. It didn't take long before the vampire was soundly asleep.

Zach smiled and he kept playing with Jack's hair. He wasn't really tired at the moment, but he'd lay there with his lover until the other woke up again. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he heard one of the elder's voice come over the speaker system saying that they were closing all of the windows since it was going to be morning soon.

The newer Elder woke and looked around he looked horrible. Slowly he wokred himself out of the bed hoisting himself in a robe. "I gotta help 'em..." he said as he moved to the door and opened it slowly.

Zach got up and he went over and stopped Jack. "Babe, you can miss a night. Go to sleep and I'll go explain to them that you're under a lot of stress right now," He told him and kissed his cheek. "Just go rest...please."

The vampire looked down at the other and smiled. "Guess you're right..." he whispered before kissing his forehead. "Maybe, you be a good boy and help them instead of me?" he asked him with a smile.

Zach smiled and he helped Jack over to the bed and pulled his robe off him and laid him down. "I will," The younger vampire said, smiling gently. He leaned down and kissed him softly before he left the room and started down to the Elder's room. However, he stopped at the top of the stairs when he heard some yelling coming from the front room. He peeked down to see what was going on.

Jack's old Elder had gotten into a fight with the highest elder. He was refusing to leave the mansion and was using Jack as a scapegoat.

Zach narrowed his eyes and he went down there and he hit Jack's old Elder. "How dare you use him as an excuse not to leave! This is his home and it always had been, but you've been manipulating the Elders for years. Convincing them not to let him back into the mansion! You're such an idiot!"

The young vampire closed his eyes and smiled at him. "thank you..." he whispered before stroking his hair a bit before he rested a bit. It wouldn't be a long rest though.

Jack had heard the shouting and worriedly got down, coughing slightly he stepped into the front room. "STOP IT." he managed to shout out. His eyes were tired before he moved over to Zach and pulled his arm. "You have no right to hit him, you know that. But on the other hand...." he said and looked at his 'Elder'. "You get out!" he hissed showing his fangs in anger.
The vampire had to hold onto Zach, otherwise he'd fall over.

Zach kept his eyes narrowed, though he kept a hold on Jack since he still wasn't quite awake. The male then led Jack back upstairs when the other Elder told him to take him up. "Jack, you were supposed to stay up in bed," He told him sternly.

Jack's 'Elder' blinked, but he sighed softly and nodded. "Fine." He then left the mansion, not caring if it was daylight or not.

Jack looked down at him and smiled. "I know...I'm sorry." he whispered before laying back down and almost falling asleep right away. He was exhausted, not to mention very very happy now that his elder was thrown out.

Zach sighed and he laid down with him, wrapping his arm around his stomach. "Tomorrow night, we'll go out and get some real blood, ok?" He told him and kissed his cheek softly. "I have a feeling that you're going to need some by tomorrow night." He nuzzled his nose against Jack's cheek.

Jack smiled before holding hi,. "that sounds very good..." The redhead stroked teh others hair before falling asleep in the others arms.

Zach just laid there. He wasn't really tired, even though it just took all of his strength for him to punch Jack's old Elder. The young vampire sighed and he just laid there. He knew that he'd eventually fall asleep from exhaustion.

Jack wanted him to sleep soon. Softly he began to hum a soft song, a lullaby. His hands moved through his hair carefully.

Zach looked at Jack and rose an eyebrow. He smiled and then closed his eyes, snuggling up against him. "You win," He muttered and started to fall asleep.

SOon enough he rolled over and held the other tightly, falling asleep himself.

The next morning he felt a lot better and slowly slipped from the others arms. He stretched out as he got from the bed and moved to the shower to clean up.
He was looking good and the aura in the mansion was nice and peaceful.

Zach shifted when Jack slipped out of his arms. He moaned a little and one of his arms searched for the other. He opened his eyes when he couldn't find him. When he heard the shower, he smiled and got up. The young vampire walked over to the bathroom and slipped in. He then undressed and got into the shower with Jack.

"Morning," He muttered, wrapping his arms around him from behind.

The older vampire smiled and kissed him gently. "good morning, how did you sleep?" he asked him softly as he looked back at him.

He smiled "I slept well. Better than I have in a long time," He told him. The younger vampire leaned against the shower wall, watching his lover. "So, since we're gonna be going out and getting some real blood tonight, where do you wanna go to get some?" Of course, this would be one of the first times that Zach would actually drink fresh blood.

The young man looked at him and smiled. "that is really good." he said before leaning over to kiss him on the head.
He was readying himself to hunt. When the other asked where he smiled. "At a place where people are about to die." he said before washing the soap off his body. "the hospital and orphanages. " he said.

Zach rose an eyebrow "A hospital or orphanage? You know that some people that are there have diseases right?" The younger vampire explained to the older one. He grabbed the soap and started to wash his body, getting all the dirt and sweat off of it.
