Zach glanced around and he spotted the other vampire. He ran off in that direction, not waiting for Jack. The younger vampire bolted around the corner and he then started fighting with the other vampire. He was finally able to knock him out and he sighed. A little blood was streaming from his mouth and there was a couple bruises on his face now, but it wasn't anything bad.

He grabbed him and drug him into the other hall and to Jack. "Here ya go." He smiled.

Jack laughed as he looked at the vampire being all knocked out. "He doesn't seem to be dangerous." he said before he chuckled. "Let's leave him here."

Zach smiled and then he went to the little girl and bent down to her height. He stroked her cheek a little bit. "I can't believe he bit her when she was this young," He said to Jack. The younger vampire picked her up and held her in his arms. "It can't be helped though. We'll just have to take her with us." He smiled.

Jack looked over at the younger one before smiling and nodding. "Let's take her." he said before he moved over and kissed zach on the lips.
"Let's go home right away, there is quite some paper work attached to bringing in a new born vampire."

Zach smiled and he held the girl in his arms. He smiled when she latched onto him. Truth was, Zach loved kids. He really loved taking care of them whenever he needed to.
The younger vampire walked out of the orphanage with Jack, walking towards the mansion.

Jack gently held the girls hand. He too had a weak for kids. Especially girls. With a smile he looked at Zach.

Zach smiled and he walked towards the mansion with them. "Can you tell us your name?" He asked the girl, moving a strand of her hair out of her eyes.

The young girl looked up at him and shrugged. It was obvious that she was very shy. " ...Helen..." she whispered softly to him as she clung more and more to his leg.

Zach smiled and he looked at Jack. He could tell that his lover was falling in love with this little girl. Looked like the two of them would become her "parents" for now. The younger vampire sighed softly and opened the door at the mansion and walked inside, ignoring the looks the two of them got when they saw the little girl.

Jack carefully lifted the girl off her feet and kissed her head. "I will fix some things" he said to Zach. "Why don't you go and get some toys for her?" he asked before kissing his lips sweetly.

The girl didn't mind to be picked up by Jack and clung onto him now.

"Alright. I've got a box full in my room still," He said and he kissed Jack's cheek and then went up to his old room. He walked in and went to the closet. The young vampire shifted through the stuff until he found the box. He picked it up and then went up to Jack's room.

Jack had gotten to the elders to introduce the little girl to them and ask the others for her to stay.
"She was bitten by a stray, we couldn't leave her behind."

Zach opened the box and he started setting out the toys on a blanket he had grabbed on the way out of his room. He sighed softly and then he moved and laid down on Jack's bed, closing his eyes as he started to fall asleep. He was tired after everything that had just happened at the orphanage.

Soon it was all settled. He and Zach would take care of the girl as if it were their own child.
Gently Jack took the girl to his room and opened the door. "Why don't you go and play for a while?" he whispered to her as he noticed that Zach was asleep on the huge bed.

Zach shifted a little in his sleep. He was having a bad dream, which was rare for vampires to have. A thin layer of sweat covered his body. He was mumbling some incoherent words as well, still shifting.

The girl nodded and silently played.
Jack moved to his love and kissed his cheek, "zach...wake." he whispered into his ear

Zach shot up and he looked around. He looked at Jack, panting heavily. "Hi," He whispered and smiled a little. He looked over at the little girl and smiled gently. "What'd the Elders say about us keeping her?"

Jack held him lovingly before stroking the others hair. "we can keep her as our daughter. Which means I get to teach two vampires now." he smiled.

Zach smiled and he watched her play. "Did they say anything about the rogue vampire that we encountered?" He asked, looking up into his lover's eyes.

Jack shook his head. "no, he'll die on his own." he said before he hugged the other and stroked his hair gently. The little girl looked up at the men and smiled shyly. "you my papa and daddy now?" she asked.

Zach smiled and he slipped from Jack's arms. He sat down next to her and lightly stroked her hair. "Yup. We're your papa and daddy now," He told her and smiled.

Jack blushed before he too got to the girl and sat beside his lover. "You'd like that?" he asked Helen.

The black haired girl could only smile widely and hugged the both of them. "yes!" she smiled.

Zach smiled and he kissed the top of the little girl's head. He then went to Jack's ear. "This is gonna be interesting for her growing up..." He whispered so that she couldn't hear what he was saying to his lover.

Jack smiled and nodded. "yes." he whispered back before he stroked the little girls hair and kissed her head.

Zach sighed a little bit. "I'm still thirsty. I'll be right back. You want a package of blood or some wine? Also, something to drink for her?" He asked as he stood up and went towards the door.
