Zach opened the gate and then walked in. He led Edward up to the door, petting the guard dogs as he walked up to it. When they got to the door, Zach opened it and walked in with Ed. He ignored the looks they got as he took him to the Elder's room and knocked.

All the elders were in there, discussing about this Edward.

Ed had followed his lover asif it was nothing serious and just acted like that as well.

When they were let in the Elder's room he stood and stepped out.

"I have a request for all of you, I know you won't be happy with it, but still I ask: May I become an Elder and teach Zach about humans and how to interact with them?" he asked them with a steady and firm voice.

Zach had to wait outside, since he was still just a student. He stood there, waiting for Ed to come back out.

Ed's ex-Elder looked at him, an eyebrow raised. "And why, may I ask, would you want to become an Elder? You disobeyed me, so why should we trust that you won't betray the Elder title?" He questioned, keeping his eyes on Ed the entire time.

"Because I think you lag on tutoring him. Elders don't teach youngsters how to cope with the overtaking humans. That's why I want to become an elder, to fill up the gaps you are leaving behind." he said as he tilted his head slightly

Ed's ex-Elder crossed his arms. "Oh really? And you honestly think that he want to learn from you? Or are you doing this just so that you can sleep with him every night?" The older vampire asked.

Mutters from the other Elders echoed around the room a little bit at what he had said.

Zach sighed a little bit as he waited. He hated having to wait for people. The young vampire was getting impatient.

He nodded and smriked. "he told me that he wants to learn, the sex is just for fun." he grinned. "So, that's all I have to ask really."

The elders deliberated in a circle for a little bit before they looked at Ed.

Ed's ex-Elder sighed and walked over to him, holding a box and a book. He handed both of them to him and nodded. "Granted," He said. "Read the book and open the box. Your pendant is in the box. And the book is the rules. Follow them please."

Zach started to look at his nails like some bored teenager. He really was getting impatient.

When he got the book and box he bowed politely. "This time, I will." he said before backing away and opening the door again.

He smiled at Zach and nodded. "I'm in, just let me get to my old room, m'kay?" he asked the other as he held the book under one arm and the box in his hand.

Zach smiled when Ed said that he was an elder now. Though, he tilted his head a little bit at what he said.

"Why do you need to get into your old room?" He asked. "Aren't you going to be sleeping with me?"

"Not right away." he said poking his nose. "I need to study this book and get used to being an elder." he said stroking his hair. "come...I think you'll like my room best." he chuckled.

Zach crossed his arms, but he nodded. He followed Ed up to the attic. "Why do you think I'll like your room the best?" He asked, tilting his head to the side once again.

"It's as big as the mansion's width and length. so it's the biggest room with the biggest bed." he smiled and opened the door. He opened it and smiled some at Zach.

"I love the anti dust spell." he said as he put the book on the desk and opened the box, taking the pendant out and hung it around his neck.

Zach looked around the room and his bottom jaw dropped slightly. "W--Woah," He said. Then his eyes went straight to the bed and he smirked. He ran over and jumped on it, landing on his back. "Oh yeah...this is nice."

Laughing he looked at him. "Told you." he smirked before he got over there, sitting down. "Hey, would you mind it if I study the rules first, before I make my move?"

Zach shrugged a little bit. "That's fine with me," The younger vampire smiled and closed his eyes. He snuggled into the bed and sighed. It was so nice. He just wanted to fall asleep right then and there.

He smiled got the book before starting to read on the bed. "Hmn..." he smiled before pulling the other closely.

Zach snuggled up against him, staying close. Mm, he liked being next to his lover. After a bit, he finally fell asleep, one of his arms over Ed's legs.

After a while he was through half the book, he had been stroking his loves hair all the time. Ed looked down at him and smiled. Staying still as he read.

Zach shifted a little bit, turning so that his back was to Ed. A soft sigh escaped the younger vampire's lips. He stretched in his sleep, his shirt moving up a little bit.

When he noticed that the shirt came up he pulled it down. "There." he whispered. "sleep well, baby..." he whispered as he studied until he too fell asleep.

The next evening, Zach woke up and he looked around the room. His eyes moved to the body next to him. A soft smile appeared on his face as he saw him there. The younger vampire leaned down and kissed the other softly.

He stirred but didn't wake just yet. He cuddled closer, wanting to rest more.

Zach smiled and he quietly slipped out of bed and walked over to the desk. He sat down at it and ran his fingers along the top of it.

By then he woke and rubbed his sore eyes. "nnngg...Z-zach? he asked."

Zach looked at him and he smiled softly. "Good morning," He teased a little bit. The male stood up and walked over and got back in bed. He leaned over the other and started to kiss him passionately.
