Sanoko 03-07-2008 03:06 AM

Tsuki scoffed slightly. "No I cannot. She needs to come back and rule over us. Her parents were second in command there and since the previous rulers and her parents are dead it's her turn, her place to rule! She HAS too!" she said slowly going into yelling. "She may not feel like she belongs, but she does that's what she is! She was born there and there is nothing anyone can do to change that. It is her duty to come back to the village, get married and rule over us all along with her husband. It can't be any other way!"

Sanoko looked at Tsuki when she mentioned getting married. "Get married? An arranged marriage? I'm not getting married to someone I don't know. I do not want to, it's stupid." she said softly. She looked up at Howard for a moment when he put a hand on her shoulder. This whole thing was getting out of hand and she didn't like it. She would hit Tsuki with some fire if she felt like it.

"I'm not undoing what I did to her until she comes back or I could take away her orb and then undo what I did and be on my way." Tsuki said and brought out her staff still keeping the bottle hidden. Though when she moved slightly the bottle glistened slightly from the light since it was pure glass. She knew what taking away Sanoko's orb would do to her, but she tried her best not to show that taking it away was going to something bad in her facial expressions. She just glared at the both like she had been since she arrived.

(( lol. Yeah. ))

"One never HAS to do anything," Howard replied, the very idea sitting wrongly with him. "Her destiny is hers to decide, not you, not birth, nor anything else! Should she choose to live a free life, then that's how it is!" When the deal was offered, he paused. He had... seen soemthing as well he wished to ask Sanoko about. Being a gardener, he had a sharp eye for detail.

"Give us one moment to convene," he told Tsuki, gently pulling Sanoko aside to whisper to her to where Tsuki could not overhear.

"I don't trust her... not one bit. I do not know what that orb of yours does, but it must be important. But... did you notice that glistening under her coat? It wasn't on her person before..." he added, feeling it might be important. Maybe Sanoko might know what it was, and could retrieve it.

Sanoko 03-07-2008 03:42 AM

Tsuki just rolled eyes. "Fine." she said watched them walk away from her. She waited impatiently for them to come back and stop talking about whatever they were talking about. She really hoped that Kiyo didn't come because she would ruin everything.

Sanoko had seen something glisten as well, but had no idea what it was. She walked over to where ever Howard pulled her to. "I don't trust her either. She seems like she's never going to give up. Yes I do believe my orb is important." She paused for a moment to try and regain herself to not talk so weakly. "Yes I did see something glisten, but I have no idea what it is. Though I'm sure it's whatever she did to me.."

Meanwhile Kiyo was watching over the monitors in the village of the house. The orbs helped track down the kitsune, that's how they knew where she was. She saw what Tsuki was doing and just sighed. She didn't go there because she would just make things worse and she had an order to stay there. Though she was going to try and help Sanoko. She sent a message to both Sanoko and Howard's mind. Tsuki has a glass bottle that's what glistened, it has something very important to Sanoko in it. Be careful in trying to retrieve it. She herself had seen the bottle glisten and figured that's what the two where talking about.

Sanoko looked at Howard not sure if he got the message as well. "Did you get that?" she whispered.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-07-2008 04:16 AM

It was clear that Sanoko was shaken by the whole thing, but Howard supposed anyone might be. Just what was in that glistening jar? What had been done exactly? And why did it have such an effect upon Sanoko?

The answer came mere moments later. "I did," he whispered back. "What is her element? I can bind her for a moment with resistant vines... but Ill need you to act quick and grab it," he added, still making sure to keep it to where he could not be heard. They had to be careful...

Shame they were not outside, that would have made this so much easier. He would have had the whole yard to work with then, instead of just what he could produce form his hands. One way or another he knew, however, they had to get that glistening jar. Sanoko needed it.

Sanoko 03-07-2008 04:58 PM

"I'm not sure what it is, but by going by what her staff looks like I say light. I will try my best to get it as fast as I can." Sanoko said. She would try, but she felt so weak though she knew she would be able to get it. She hoped she was right about what Tsuki could control even though that was dangerous. She glanced over at Tsuki to see what she was doing. If Sanoko had known that her parents spirits have been following her around since they died she would know what Tsuki had done.

Tsuki had crossed her arms. She was getting bored just standing there and growing rather impatient. She glared at the two of them. "Are you two done talking?! I don't know what you two are talking about that's taking so long, but you need to hurry up." she said coldly. She knew it didn't take that long to talk about what she had offered, but nonetheless she didn't catch on to that they were planning something or that Kiyo had told them any thing.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-07-2008 05:33 PM

Light resistant... well THAT was easy enough to counter he suppose. After all, plants thrived off of light. It seemed ironic in a way that way allianced with light would go through this measures, but at the same time he supposed. Tsuki thought she was in the right.

"Ah yes," Howard replied with a flush, knowing Sanoko knew what to do. He blushed a slight. "Such decisions are not really made easily anyways, you know," he replied with a soft sigh. He walked over a bit closer to Tsuki, so as not be rude of course, making sure Sanoko followed as well. Folding his arms he shook his head.

"You really know how to put folks in a tight place. I mean, we really don't have much of a choice in the matter, do we? Sanoko," He added, starting an innocent hand gesture that would have looked much like someone who gestured in the air as they spoke, "You have the orb ready right?" However, when his hands were crossed he had managed to take a few seeds out of his shirt. And with that flick of his hand waxy cactus vines shot forth from his hand, reaching forward to wrap around and bind Tsuki's arms and top half, which should leave the bottle reachable...

He hoped this would work...

Sanoko 03-07-2008 06:19 PM

Sanoko walked over to Tsuki with him. Sanoko watched and waited for her turn in the plan. She hoped that it worked because she was really tired of feeling this way. She was also tired of the way Tsuki was acting. She obvisouly didn't care about other people's feelings, she only seemed to care about herself.

Tsuki looked at them when they returned. She just listened to what Howard had to say. She didn't really care for what he had to say. She didn't even see what was coming she didn't expect it. When she was binded she struggled to try and get away. "Let me go!" She ended up dropping her staff so she couldn't use her powers or she would.

When Howard had Tsuki binded she quickly went and grbbed the bottle Tsuki had. She backed away from her and looked at it. Wondering what it was, what was in it. She looked closely at it.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-07-2008 06:48 PM

Howard smiled a slight despite himself, glad his distraction had worked. He hadn't really felt much like talking but he knew it would throw Tsuki off to his real plans. His eyes kept upon Tuski, the vines retaining their tight hold. He hated to place anyone in this situation... but this situation called for it.

"Mam, you tell us how to undo what you did and I shall gladly," he replied. "It is that simple. I should mention that it is in a vine's very nature to wish to curl tighter. I am holding this back, so as not to harm you. But I cannot hold it back forever. The quicker you tell us, the better off you will be. Understood?" He really, REALLY hated th threaten anyone. But he had learned long ago in certain situations it could not really be helped. This was one of those times.

Sanoko 03-07-2008 07:03 PM

"There isn't much to do to undo. You two can figure it out yourself, it's very easy." Tsuki stated. All they really had to do was break the bottle, but she wasn't telling anyone that. She would just stay there like she was. She didn't obtain the rank she was at for no reason. She somewhat had to be the way she was. She just stared at them and didn't say another word.

Sanoko looked away from the bottle to Tsuki. She didn't seem to be talking. She sighed softly. She looked back to the bottle to see if she could figure it out. She noticed it was a special kind of pure glass and would probably be easy to break no matter what it hit, but wasn't sure if that would undo anything. Though she couldn't help it when another wave of extreame saddness came over her, she dropped it and it hit the floor shattering into many pieces.

She looked down at what she had done and felt bad and was worried that whatever Tsuki had done would now be irreverisable. Though soon she started to feel better. She felt a sense of warmth and wholeness. It was like a piece of her had been taking away and now it was back. She walked a little closer to Tsuki avoiding the glass and glared at her. "Just leave me alone, when he lets you go go home and never come back!" she yelled at her. She then turned away from her.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-08-2008 04:47 AM

Howard frowned a slight at this response, looking towards Sanoko. He himself had to concentrate on keeping the vines from squeezing too hard! Not only that, but he certainly knew nothing about magic bottles to say the least.

When she dropped the glass and it shattered, he nearly broke that concentration in alarm. Would... would she be alright? What would happen now that the bottle was broken? But he found out a moment later, as Sanoko looked back to normal. Well, ticked off but that was normal he would suppose!

After she spoke to Tsuki he looked over at the captive kitsune. "You heard her," he replied, and keeping his eyes sharp he withdrew the vines. He wondered if she would leave that easily... he knew despite the words that a girl like Tsuki would return. But, hopefully, this stunt would buy Sanoko a bit more safe time. Poor girl.

Sanoko 03-08-2008 06:07 PM

Kiyo came through a portal and picked up Tsuki's staff and pulled Tsuki back through the portal to keep her from doing anything else at the moment when she was let go. She knew she would so she felt she had to get her away from there, for now. She sighed and continued to pull her to the room with the monitors. She didn't say anything, she just put her in a chair and tied her down. She was getting tired of her. She would be in trouble when she got loose though. Tsuki just glared at Kiyo.

When they were gone Sanoko went to picking up the glass. "I'm sorry." she said. She was sorry that she dropped the bottle and now glass was in his floor. She was also sorry for the trouble the Tsuki was causing. She didn't say anything else, she stayed quiet as she continued to pick up the glass. There were a lot of shards. She sighed slightly. She hoped Tsuki never came back and would respect her wishes, but knew that she wasn't going to.

(( How good of a role player am I to you? ))

Leona of the Zodiac 03-08-2008 10:07 PM

"Don't be sorry, some things cannot be helped," Howard replied, as he shook his head. Walking into the laundry room, he came back with a broom and dustpan. He started to help with the glass, sighing a slight.

"It is not your fault that she continues to be so stubborn," he added. "Eventually, perhaps, with time she will understand. If not, I'm always here to help. Its no imposition," he added. Once he got up the shards he could, he went to the trashcan.

"I do wonder just what sort of jar that was though. Strange technique... but I suppose tehre are many things I do not understand," he added, smiling a slight. That was what kept life interesting he supposed, coming across new things. he just wished they weren't encountered in such dramatic ways!

((*Blinks* Well you've always been pretty good to me, you keep up quite well. The only thing I might add is a bit more interaction at times, but you're doing well. ;) Why? *Blinkus* ))

Sanoko 03-08-2008 10:34 PM

"I can't help but to be sorry though. I really hope she does understand now, though I'm sure she doesn't. She seems to be the type that it takes a long to understand what another person wants." she said and then put the shards she had picked up on the dustpan. She stood up and then sat down on the couch.

Sanoko shrugged. "No clue. I guess it was something to take a piece of me away and keep it from escaping. That's what it felt like, that a piece of me was taken away." She then picked up her sketchbook and began to flip through it. She came across the picture she drew of her parents, she looked at the drawing for a few minutes before closing her sketchbook.

"Tell me about that book you were reading before all of that happened." She did want to know more about it. She did know that it had something to do with WWII dogfights. "Also if you have the money can we go buy me a few more clothes?" she asked. She did need some more so she wouldn't have to have what clothes she had washed every two outfits she wore.

(( Ok, I'll try. Just wondering. ))

Leona of the Zodiac 03-09-2008 12:01 AM

"No... but perhaps she will in time," Howard commented, shaking his head. "She's doing what she thinks is right, she just hasn't looked to the other options yet," he added. What a trying situation it must be, to be at odds with your own clan. But, he knew, Sanoko had every reason for not wishing to reconnect. Sound reasons.

"I see... still. That's a terrible way to go about things. At least now that part of you is returned right? I wonder what part it was..." he added, quite puzzled. What a terrible thing to do though to a person, he was certainly grateful for Kiyo's intervention to say the least. Otherwise... well he would not try to ponder the otherwise.

"OH! This one?" Howard asked, picking up the book from the table with a grin. "Its called Air Attack: Great Clashes of the Past. He flipped it over to where she could see the pages, showing off illustrations of planes, airfights, and even pilots as well. "I always wondered what it must have been like to pilot a fighter plane. This book basically shows some of the major battles, different types of planes used, and a few pilot histories and stories. Haha, I know, I must sound like a total geek right now," he lamented with a sigh. "It's just always been a weakness of mine. I actually construct WWII model airplanes during my free time some days... I'll have to show you them!" When asked about money he smiled softly and nodded.

"I do," he replied with a facepalm. "I didn't even think of that! Of course, we should go out and get you a wardrobe! I need to update my own for that matter..." he added, pondering. "It's just so hard to find eastern style shirts these days, much less ones with only one sleeve..." He shook his head then. "But I ramble! Don't worry, once you're all set I'll take you out shopping, okay?" I have to get ready myself," he added, realizing he was still in what counted as his pajamas.

((See, like that's perfect :3 Gives me plenty to build a reply off of. Nah, you're a great roleplayer really, so ya needn't worry ;)

Sanoko 03-09-2008 12:38 AM

Sanoko nodded. "Yes it is returned or it at least feels like it." she said with a small smile and then shrugged. "No clue. Maybe a part of me that helps me control my sadness?" She really had no clue, but wondered what it was. She just decided to try not to think about it any more. She had gotten lucky that breaking the bottle undid what Tsuki had did.

Sanoko listened to him explain the book. She looked at the illustrations in it when he showed her. She smiled slightly. "No you don't really sound like a geek and that's cool that you do that and I would like to see them some time." She was still smiling slightly.

"Ok thanks." She looked down at her closed sketchbook. "Yeah I can imagine that it is hard to find shirts like that...I'm already ready, so..." she said and stood up a few seconds later. She walked back to her room to put her sketchbook and pencils up. She came back and sat on the couch and waited on him to get ready. She then remembered she still had her clothes in the washer. She went to the laundry room and put the clothes in the dryer for now.

(( Thanks. ))

Leona of the Zodiac 03-09-2008 04:31 AM

"Good... and judging from how you reacted probably so. Sadly, the technicalities of magic always elude me," he added, shaking his head. till, he was just glad it had worked out in the way it had. He wasn't sure what would have happened otherwise.

"I'll show them off after we get back from shopping then," Howard promised, giving a slight grin. He was rather proud of his collection. Almost as much as of his gardens really. But then, he supposed that was because putting together models one could use no magic, just ones bare hands. There was a certain pleasure in that.

"Right then, I'll be back shortly," he added, as he headed back to get ready. Taking his shower, getting dressed. He came back in brown and green version of his regular shirt, with matching gloves and shoes, and tan pants. His hair was retied back in its long braid, and he had on his small spectacles again as well.

"We'll have to walk again, alright? This one is a slight distance more than the last walk, but it cant ge helped," he added with a slight sigh, shaking his head as he put a messenger back over his shoulder.

Sanoko 03-09-2008 04:20 PM

"Alright." Sanoko said with a smile. She had never seen a model airplane before so she did really want to see them. "Ok." she said and waited on him to get back so they could go shopping. She wondered what kind of clothes she would get. She never really took the time to stop in a clothing store to see what they had.

She stood up when he got back. "That's fine. I don't mind walking." she said with a small smile. She really didn't, walking was totally fine with her.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-09-2008 06:54 PM

Howard led the way, locking up his place behind them. His outfit really was a slight strange compared to what most wore. It was like a mix of eastern and western really. His braid settled over one shoulder, even if he turned his head to glance at anything. They had just gotten out of the place when Leona popped up, giving a mew.

"You can't follow us to the mall silly," Howard told the cat, kneeling down a moment to pet the cat. The small feline then walked over towards Sanoko, rubbing against her leg.

Silly cat indeed. Shaking his head, Howard continued to lead the way to the local mall. "Well, here we are," he said, giving a slight smile. Inwards however, he was bracing himself. Secretly, the mild mannered elemental did NOT do well in crowds. And this mall was always busy. But certain things needed to be done right?

"Any idea what you are looking for?" Howard asked, to distract himself from the crowds. So many people... so many! Must... not... think about it! "We have stores like Aeropostle and the Gap for casual wear, Hot Topic for a bit more of a gothic flair, stores for general wear like Sears and JC Penny's, places just for shoes... just pick a place and we'll start form there!" By now, their steps would have taken them to the center of the mall. Howard was visibly more tense, even as he took a deep breath.

"Sorry," he explained, shaking his head. "Crowds and I have never got along well I am afraid."

Sanoko 03-10-2008 12:17 AM

Sanoko smiled slightly when Leona came up to her and rubbed against her leg. She bent down to pet her for a few seconds. She stood up and followed Howard to the mall. She looked around as they made their way to the center of the mall almost missing what he said. "Well... I don't think I will like Hot Topic, so we can start in Aeropostle." she said with a small smile. She really didn't think she would like the gothic theme for her so anywhere else would be fine.

"Oh that's fine." she said. She wondered what it was that made people not do so good in crowds, but he didn't ask any questions. "Well..." she said wanting to say something else, but wasn't sure on what. She just waited on him to lead the way to the store.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-10-2008 04:30 AM

Howard gave a nod to this. "Alright then, I'm told a lot of the younger crowd shops there so you might just have some luck," he added. He almost wished he did drive during trips such as this. After all, a few dozen miles away tehre was a clothing outlet mall. But such was far too much of a distance to walk.

He noted her questioning look when he mentioned about crowds, and flushed a slight brighter. "It's... a long story. I can tell you about it on the way home," he replied. He just had to remind himself that this certainly was not the same situation as back then. Not nearly. Things would be fine. Deep breaths...

He led the way into the store, smiling a slight. Less people made him relax quite a bit once more. "Just pick out anything you like," he replied. "I'll uhm, wait here by the check out counter alright?" Glancing around, he had always wondered how it would feel to dress in casual t-shirt and jeans, or even shorts. But, he knew with his scars, such was an impossibility. Perhaps h could try a long-sleeved shirt on...? Well, for now he would wait and see what sort of attire Sanoko would come up with. He knew nothing about female attire after all.

Sanoko 03-10-2008 12:15 PM

"Ok maybe I will. Though..." Sanoko said. She wasn't entirely sure if she would or not. Though she hoped she would even if it was some jeans. She hasn't really seen what they had. She hasn't seen anyone with any of there things on or she would know if she would like any of it. Well she would just have to see.

Sanoko looked at him when he said he would tell her about why he didn't do so good in crowds. She nodded. "Ok." Was all she said, she wasn't expecting him to tell her. Though if he wanted to she would listen and besides she could learn more about him.

She followed him to the store. She nodded, "Ok." she said with a small smile. She then walked on to look at what they had. She picked up a pair of pants that were the same size as the ones she had on. She took them with her as she looked for a shirt. She just picked one out and picked another pair of pants and shirt out for them. She then walked over to the check out counter.

Leona of the Zodiac 03-10-2008 03:25 PM

Howard paid for the items with an old fashioned check. He knew they had debit cards out there, but he simply wasn't sure how to use those. But a check, of course, did the trick just as well. He braced himself mentally for another trip out into the main area of the mall.

"Where would you like to try next?" he asked. "Are you good on shoes and socks, that sort of thing?" he asked. He was trying not to look towards the growing crowds really. Once they were outside, he had visibly tensed again.

He glanced towards the food court, making a mental note to brave it after they were done shopping for lunch. Certainly he could do so, he didn't wish for his phobias to affect anyone else. Mind over matter as they say.

"Also, sometime today, do you mind if we make a quick detour to the bookstore? They have a wonderful chai tea and I wish to see if they have a few books I've been hunting for," he explained.

Sanoko 03-10-2008 05:23 PM

"Well...I do need some more of those things. I do need another pair of shoes, these seem to be getting to little. They feel to tight and some more socks." Sanoko said. She thought about it and yes she did need more of that sort of thing. She really did need some more socks, that she did need if not shoes.

"I'm not sure where. I guess JC Penny's. I think I might find something in there. Then we can look for some shoes." She kind of wanted something pink, but didn't find anything in Aeropostle of that color that she liked. She hoped she found a few other things that she liked in this store.

She shook her head. "No I don't mind. I would like to go to the bookstore too, just to look though." she said with a smile. She had been in a bookstore before to look around and read a few books to pass the time when she was bored and had nothing else to do. She did like reading sometimes.
