((I picked it up from an old friend years ago Ill admit :3))
"Well, alright then," he agreed. He could understand if she did not wish to sleep again, and hopefully her rest had been enough. Meanwhile he would lie here content, finding her fingers soothing. Her presence, despite being at the center of everything... it was reassuring somehow. How was that possible? Yet he felt right lying here like this. Oh so right. He was glad to be in his wolf form at her words, when she said he smelled good. Otherwise, he was certain, his cheeks would be quite bright red. "No cologne," he replied, then gave a slight wolfish grin. He could never manage a smile in this form, but a wolfish grin would have to do. "It is the scent of the wild," he explained. "A scent of the wolf. Every wolf has one, each slightly unique to them. Even in human form," he added. Oooooh, why did her fingers have to feel so good against his fur? He wouldn't mind rested like this for quite a great deal of time, it had been some time since he had felt so relaxed... |
Smiling, she inclined her head close to Jacob's, and breathed into his fur deeply again.
"Mmmmmm.... Whether it's normal, or not, I love it.." Resting her head on Jacob's neck Aisselene closed her eyes, and brought her right hand to the side of his face; stroking him again. She inhaled deeply again, that smell infecting her lungs and throat. "You know," she whispered. "I wish, that maybe we'd met under a different situation... That things weren't like this. Smoothing her hand out on his face, she sighed. "Maybe then I wouldn't have to worry about being murdered by my ex boyfriend.." |
Her words made both of Jacob's ears twitch, which was nearly a form of blushing. He had never been told anything like THAT before. In fact most girls tended to avoid him altogether. Perhaps because he was horrendous with first meetings. Really, really bad.
Like the last girl had ran as fast as she could go bad. His eyes closed with content as she stroked the soft fur upon his face. He realized shifting to this form was certainly the right move. One of his paws twitched with a slight bit of surprise, but it relaxed quickly afterwards, tail gently swishing again. "I do too," he replied, pondering. "I'll... I'll think of something out there," he said quietly. He thought again, thinking to himself... he would like to make her time here a bit more comfortable. "If there's anything you would like to talk about, or ask... you can," he told her then. He knew he was a man of few words. But he was thinking, perhaps, he might like to talk for a time with her. He was thinking that certainly would not be too bad at all. |
Continuing to stoke his face, Aisselene thought for a moment. She twirled his soft fur around her fingers; a sign of deep thought.
"Well, howabout being a wolf.. What's it like to be in that kind of body?" Pausing for a brief moment, she continued,"I must be making you feel really wimpy huh?" Staring up at the rocks above, she grimaced. Would they ever get out? At this rate, they could be there forever.. But she did not seem to disturbed by that idea, although, they would surely die from lack of food and such. Thinking of another question, she stopped herself. It could be rude to ask that, she thought. |
"Just as long as you don't make a habit of it, it's fine," Jacob replied. His tone held a hint of amusement in it as he said this. "I have to say I just might draw the line if you start giving me bellyrubs though," he added.
"Besides, if I want to feel manly i can always go back to moving rocks in the nude," he added. When asked what it was like to be a wolf he gave a soft sigh of content. "It feels powerful, and free. Like you could run for weeks and not even mind a bit. You can smell things for miles, pick out the faintest hints of a trace. Your ears can hear a pin drop, and with these jaws I could probably bend steel," he explained. "Its a pretty amazing feeling, being in this body." As he was being stroked, his ears twitched again. "And it definitely has its perks," he added. Like this, definitely like this one. He noted her gaze upwards, and gave a slight nod. "It will just take me a few hours straight, do not worry about the rocks," he reassured her. This was the most he had spoken not counting the time he roared in anger he supposed. Not so bad really. |
Nodding, she found herself remotely interested in his words.
The thought's of Jacob crushing a steel beam with his mouth, made her hesitate her hand. But, she would trust him.. And if she lost a hand, she'd simply have to kick his ass. It shouldn't be too hard if she kept treating him like this. "Oh come on, you know you can't feel possibly feel that manly. Would you if I did this?" Sitting up suddenly, she moved her hands toward Jacob's side, and began to rub it roughly. Dogs in general had that same exact weak spot. So maybe he would to. She even chose to use her fingernails this time; going all out in a way. |
"Oh sure I do, how could I not? I'm a huge wolf and... say, just what are you doing over there?" he asked her, twitching an ear. He opened his eyes to glance over and blink.
Of course, a moment later he discovered just what she was up to. Oh no! How did she know! Unable to stop himself, one of his back legs started to kick out as he started to roll over. "Okay, maybe I don't feel so manly right about this moment," he agreed, his tail wagging as his leg started to kick the air. He closed his eyes, his muzzle pointing towards the air as he laid back. Oh man, what if someone SAW this? How embarrassing! She better not have a camera on her! And yet as she used her nails even he could not right himself, couldn't help but lie there, tail going almost as quick as his leg was. "Oh you're a devious one indeed," he said in teasing tone, worried now for his belly as well. Oh have mercy upon him, now his tongue was lolling out in content. Yep, manly was the LAST word he would have used to describe himself about now. The first one, much to his chagrin, was cute. (*Giggles* So adorable! :3 )) |
( I thought you would enjoy something fun! X3 )
Giggling as Jacob's leg wildly flailed in the air, Aissel couldn't help but to continue to scratch him in his weak spot. "Oh you know you love it," she stated as she continued her new form of torture. This was probably the most she had laughed in at least a good year. Since she'd broken up with you-know-who, she'd never dated anyone else, and never really smiled.. I guess you could say she was in a sort of depression. But now, she was laughing, smiling, and having fun..? This was fun. Jacob, was fun so it seemed. She enjoyed her time spent here, and she liked this. Having someone who wasn't so cruel. Someone who wanted to help her, rather than harm her, as Joe surely would. But she didn't have to worry about that right now, because she was safe, and happy. As she giggled and scratched, she heard that sound that she absolutely could not stand; she snorted. "No," she said amongst uncontrollable laughter. Letting Jacob go free, she covered her mouth as she laughed and snorted. "See what you did," she said still laughing. |
(Sorry for the lateness of this, Ive been out sick today and konked out at my computer last night > >; x-x And yesh, yesh I do enjoy it :3))
"Nooo! No I don't!" he insisted, but it came off as a bit weak of course since, well, it was hard to protest when one was... on their belly. And it was true, much as he wished he could say otherwise. He was a massive force of nature to be reckoned with dammit! Not a... not a... ooooh that felt so good! As was evidenced by is tail, and the fact his leg was still kicking. How did she know just which spots to hit? It was terrible! Oh so wonderfully terrible! When she snorted he laughed again, tail going harder. "I think it's cute," he observed. His eyes were closed, his tongue lolled out. He was the very picture of a canine in content. Who knew wolves could behave as such? He hadn't until this very moment! "If anything, you deserve it for this indignity!" he teased, turning to look towards her. "I am so not a puppy!" Of course, deep down, he was thinking to himself he really wanted her to keep going. This was... it was really nice. Despite how silly it made him look, it was really nice. |
(Oh, it's okay.. I was wondering what happened. But when I get sick, I feel wayyy to shitty to do anything. So, I am proud of you. X3)
Finally surrendering to her snorting, Aissel fell over onto Jacob's body, still curled into a laughing frenzy. "It's not cute," she tried to argue. But it didn't help her any. Once she started, she couldn't stop unless someone told her to do so, in a very cruel manner.. But considering he thought it was cute, it did not seem as though that were a possibility. Clutching at her stomach, her giggling began to wind down a bit as she lay over his body, tears of laughter wet to her eyes. ( Oh no, it's a short one. D: ) |
((Oh noes! The short! :3 Haha, well, I felt bad for putting it off o.O I should be up to par after a good sleep tonight though hopefully. *laughs*))
"It is," he insisted, ears twitching. He laughed as she continued to as well, although at last the 'torture' ended and she lied against him. He looked over towards her, regarding her a moment with those eyes of his, and found his tail was still lightly swishing. "You know," he said. "There is only one way that I can retaliate after such an attack," he informed her. What was it about her that put him in such a good mood? He then turned his head, and proceeded to start licking her face. Using his tongue to lightly tickle her, knowing the texture of it usually raised such a feeling. He wondered, with amusement, just how she would react as he lightly licked her cheek. Depending on how she reacted, such an attack might continue onto TRULY ticklish areas! |
(Oh noes!! It was less than a paragraph!!!??? Noooooo.. I feel bad. I'll pick up the slacks. Even though it was late, it was more than a paragraph. D;)
"No," she squealed as Jacob roughly licked her face. Instead squeal of dread, it was one of laughter. Instead of swatting at him, she took her punishment as she tried to merely block his massive tongue with her tiny hands. When he stopped, and lightly licked her cheek, she found herself turn cherry red, the pang of the redness, burning into her cheeks. Now she sat still, dead still, with a look of surprise on her face, equating what he'd done into a kiss. If he was normal, she probably would have kissed him, maybe.. Since dogs had no way to really kiss people, she'd always thought of licking people, as "giving them kissies" as she had told someone once before. (it's getting better! I'll build them up.) |
((Hey, no worries about length, I was just kidding silly! Geeez, Ive had times where Ive done a paragraph or less myself > >; Haha, its inevitable :3))
"Oh yes!" he replied, licking her face harder. Hey, allw as fair in this game right? When she tried to block with her hands, he would lick those too. Might as well get the canine spit a bit of everywhere hmm? Only fair for the indignation of it all! Haha! He blinked when she looked at him in surprise after being licked. "Heheh... sorry," he replied, and both of his ears twitched. Of course, his cheeks could not blush, but the thought was there nonetheless. His ears twitched again, before he glanced over at the rocks. "I uhm... better get back to work I suppose," he told her, that embarassed tone clinging to even his mental tone. He glanced towards the floor of the cave then, thinking to himself instincts should be kicked in the rear sometimes. |
(Haha, okies. OMG I'M READY FOR THEM TO KISSSS! Hehe, sorry. I just don't him to be nakie when it happens.)
"Oh! Uhh..." Looking down suddenly, she could feel her face turn an even darker shade. She felt more embarrassed now than anything else. Had he really meant it that way? But regardless, he couldn't read minds, so she would never know. Although, what would it have meant if he did? They wouldn't have been able to be together, would they? Wait, wait! Was she just admitting to herself, that she would in fact, be with him that way? But she would, wouldn't she? She liked him enough, and he was sweet. And maybe, he thought of her that way too? But as shy as she was, she knew nothing would happen at this rate, so it was at this point, hopeless to dream. |
((ME TOO! :3 But uhm yeah, clothing first or else it would just be weeeird! So we have a bit to trek through first. When they get out of the cave and traverse a bit of land I have an interesting adventure scene planned :3 ))
"It's alright," he told her, sighing to himself. Man... wow. Wait to stick ones paw into the thick of it. Way to go Jacob, yet again. This was why he didn't take to interacting with folks too much. Gently, he got to his feet and picked up his jacket in his maw. That thing had taken a beating by now hadn't it? But ah well, as such was to be expected given the circumstances. Why had he licked her that way? No... he knew why, he just hadn't been able to stop himself in time. Instead, he made himself look like an ass. Way to go. As he changed back and tied the jacket back around the waist, he sighed. Figured he would be the one to make the good time uncomfortable. It was a shame... Shaking his head a slight, he went back to the rocks then. "Right then, give me a few hours and I'll have us out of here. I'll get us soemthing good to eat too when we get out, promise," he told her, giving a slight smile before looking back towards the rocks and setting to work. He didn't allow his expression to show, because in this form, his human form, everything showed much more clearly. He was bright red, wearing a look of pained embarrassment he knew. Why... why did he have to be such an ass sometimes? He wore a slight look of regret too. Not for what he had done of course, but rather for ruining the moment. He wondered, where had things been going? He supposed it didn't matter but still... but still... |
(Yeah, the nakedness would be weird to think about. O.o
yay, adventures!) Now, she just felt bad. Like she was sick, but in the personality sense, as in cruel. He seemed bland now, as if she'd torn something from him. But now wasn't the time to bring it up as he was, one working, and two, quite nude say for the jacket. From his job, he didn't seem to look at her at all as she sat silently watching him, was he avoiding her? That's what it looked like. But again, this was not the right time to call him out on the instance. Staring at his well sculpted back, Aissel found herself smiling at him. He had a good body. Of course, why wouldn't he, he was always running and obviously snapping steel beams in two pieces. |
((Indeed, yay! :3 Haha, it will be funy. Challenging too! and haha, breaking steel, that amuses me :3 And man, I always end up with stubborn charries! *laughs* Jake needs a hug :P Id say that, cept hes still mostly naked > >))
It was... it was suffocating he found. This silence really. He was used to silence, in fact. A great deal of his life was spent in silence. It usually provided neither comfort nor discomfort, it was simply there. But right now it felt... It felt damning. He sighed again to himself, his expression troubled. Why did he have to go and do that anyways? He continued to work, unsure of what he should or could even say. This was unlike him as well really. But it certainly made the work go by quicker. After all, he tried to distract himself by moving boulders instead. An hour ticked by. Two. He was about two thirds of the way through really, and not really a word had been spoken by him. Damn well suffocating. He would apologize again, but he wasn't sorry he had licked her. That would be lying, and he wasn;t a liar. So he kept at it,trying to think of way to break the quiet but none were coming to mind. If one were to get a look into his face, they would see everything he was thinking. That he wasn't mad at her or anything, but rather at himself. They would see that the quiet choked him somehow. But the thing was, he wasn't about to turn his face around either... |
(Haha, oh my! X3 )
Indeed, the silence was stifling. It was suffocating, and very uncomfortable... She was finding it just as painful as he was. "Are you mad at me," she suddenly blurted out. She didn't intend to do so, but it sort of, just slipped. But as much as the silence bothered her, him not looking at her, was worse. Standing up to her feet now, Aisselene felt her hands quivering softly. The silence had to stop, and she could only guess, that any argument would be better than that. (HOMG short..) |
((Oh my indeed :P we so need to find this boy some clothes like, asap :P))
He had been moving a rock when she asked the question. he had been startled by it. In two ways really. The first but the sudden break in the silence, the second by the question itself. Startled so much the rock he had been working on moving slipped from his grasp. He caught it before it could hurt anything, and blinked. "Mad... at you?" he repeated, in the form of a question. He blinked a moment. "Why would I be mad at you?" he asked, thrown off as he started to work again. "I have no reason to be mad at you Aissel," he said truthfully. "So I'm not. Don't... don't get an idea like that in your head okay?" he asked, shaking his own once more. 'Oh great, you made her think you was mad at her? Ass!' he chided himself. He closed his eyes for a moment as he did this, frustration written upon his features. He really didn't know how to interact with people anymore. 'I'm not mad at you..." he repeated quietly, exhaling a sigh. His shoulders sagged a slight, before he started to work upon the rocks again. The rocks were dwindling in number at least, and light could be seen from a tiny crack or two... |
(Oh yes!)
Exhaling suddenly, Aissel sunk back into the dirt. She was relieved. He wasn't mad, and that was good. But he still didn't seem as though her were all quite there either; had she hurt him? Maybe he was hoping for a different reaction than just being stared at. But Aissel couldn't exactly say she'd expected him to do what he did. Seeing the small glimmer upon the dark rock wall, she found herself smiling. They were free. But, would he just tell her to leave him now? Or would her dreaded nightmare come true? She hoped it wouldn't ever come to that, but it was still a possibility. Getting to her feet again, Aissel stepped up to the rocks, and began to shovel as many as she possibly could out of the way; she avoided looking at him. |
((In another few posts, you get to see the dun dun dun! :3 For now, Im off to bed since I work early again. If ya leave a reply Ill respond before leaving for work though okay? :3 ))
Truth was, Jacob was his own harshest critic. But how could he tell her that exactly? He noted she had fallen into silence herself, and wondered why. Was his silence just that... damning? What could be done now? It didn't seem to matter now did it? 'Ass...' he thought to himself again. The glints started to crack, growing wider and wider until at last... the path was clear. The outside air felt good somehow, and he inhaled it deeply. "Told you I would get us out of here," he told her, giving a light smile. He tried to brush off the funk, as much as it tried to cling to him. "Now then, the safest way for us to travel is for you to hang onto my other form, okay?" he asked. Stepping away from the entrance, he shifted into his wolf form once more. Really, there was one other reason he was reacting much differently. He really... he really just wanted to take her far away from all of this. She should not have to deal with his Alpha's problems. But... that was just what was happening. He didn't... he didn't want her to be killed. That was the problem. But in order to save her... Realizing his lupine ears were down a moment he perked them back up, nodding towards his shoulder. He leaned down then, allowing her access to be able to slide on. "I know it won't be the most comfortable..." he admitted, when a stray breeze hit his nose. A breeze that carried a scent. He blinked, before shaking his head. No... he must have smelled wrong certainly. |
(Have sweet dreams. X3 Oh my gah! I'm already seeing the dun dun dun!)
After breaking through into the sun, Aissel found herself with closed eyes, soaking up every bit she could, just in case... "Now then, the safest way for us to travel is for you to hang onto my other form, okay?" he asked. "Huh?" And then there was no use for fighting it. He had already changed from himself, to his other self; the one she'd spent the most time with. Climbing onto his massive back, she found even balancing hard. He was huge! Certainly bigger than a horse. Falling onto his neck, she wrapped her arms tightly around him, like before. "Sorry," she whispered in his ear. She hadn't meant to just slam into him like that, but she was sure he could take it. His body suddenly quivered with movement as he shook his head from side to side, jostling Aisselene about. What was wrong? |
((Teeheeee :3))
He was carefully patient until she was ready, before rising to his feet. His load was light to her, which he supposed was another benefit to this form now wasn't it? He had only flinched a slight at the sudden slamming, but quickly regained his composure. "It's alright," he replied. "Now hold on tight. Are you hungry?" he asked, as he started off into a run. It wasn't as fast as he would normally run, but that was for her sake really. The outside sun felt good though he thought to himself. Really nice. He wondered... was there a reason he hadn't wished to travel in his human form? Was he... was he trying to keep some sort of a distance that way? He told himself it was for travel's sake but... hmph. He supposed it didn't matter. And that was when he smelled it again and his eyes widened. "Oh crap..." he said, as moments later an all too familiar face came into view. A few of them actually. A group who had seemed to appear from nowhere, causing Jacob to have to stop in place a short distance away. "Aaaah, there you are," he said, brushing a hand through his hair and giving a slight smile. The Alpha. Joseph, standing before them in the flesh. "What are y-" "Well, when you took your time getting back, we figured you must have run into some complications. But... such as to be expected from one as low as you in this pack hmm? No matter, you have her here as I knew you would." The Alpha looked towards Aissel then, wearing that smooth smile from the days he knew her. "Hello again, long time no see," he told her, giving a light wink before looking towards Jacob. "Right then, well, hand her over and we'll all go about our merry ways shall we?" he asked. "Bet you two had some fun! Haha, well, anyways, reality check sets in about now I suppose. Time to show a few ground rules here.. that is... I make the rules." His grin turned a slight feral, and cruel then as he took a step forward. "HANG ON!" Jacob yelled to Aissel then, as he suddenly bolted in another direction. "JACOB YOU LITTLE MUTT! GET BACK HERE!" The Alpha's voice snarled. "AFTER THEM!" Jacob now WAS running at full speed, and at the Alpha's command his whole body had shuddered. But somehow... he had kept running anyways. "Aissel... just hang on. I'll get you out of this. Trust me, alright?" But one, being close to him, could probably hear his heart racing as he ran. |
(Haha, oh my gah! X3 I'm excited.)
"I'm not particularly hungry," she stated during the almost slow seeming pace. It was a calm run, but it was comfortable pace that she enjoyed as the warm feeling breeze ruffled her hair around her face. She enjoyed the feeling. Then she heard him say something short, and very subtle. She didn't quite hear him, but she'd seen what he said when she saw him... She sat up slowly, her nostrils flaring with anger, and hurt. When he acknowledged her being there, she looked down, holding to Jacob's neck. Joe was just as cruel as usual, calling Jacob, "-one as low as you in this pack.." Joe was always one for putting people down, although he had never really done so much to Aissel in that way. He had always talked highly of her to his friends, or whomever.. She couldn't lie; he treated her well. But that would never even cover the fact of him doing what he did, even if had never said another cruel thing in his life. Suddenly, they had taken off completely. Jacob told her to trust him.. That he would get her out of this mess. She trusted him now. He would help her, and she knew it. |
((Yay! I was hoping it didn't come off as too corny :3 And this one... mwahahaa! Im evil to leave a cliffhanger like this > >))
Jacob was running at a fast speed now, and from behind one could see wolves following him as well. one of those wolves was brown and white, with fierce green eyes... that one led the pack. And it was that one who looked particularly fearsome, teeth showing and all. The entire way, Joseph flung words of hate and insult towards Jacob, but none of these of course the werewolf translated. He heard every one of them, but he was focused upon another goal entirely. He was running faster than he could ever remember, his legs pumping. Close... close... oh his Alpha was so blind with rage he did not even realize whose territory they were coming up upon. A little further... and Jacob's grin widened as he passed a strange looking stone. As the scent of anotehr Alpha crossed his nose. He ran further, his pack crossing over the lines of territory as well... and then Joseph was on him. The Alpha gave a harsh blow to Jacob's shoulder, sending Jacob to his side. "AISSEL!" he shouted. "Get to safety! It's okay, I have it covered!" Meanwhile, Joseph gave a feral grin, as he hovered above Jacob. "First things first..." he said. "We take care of matters within the pack..." Just a bit longer, Jacb thought to himself. Just a bit longer... |
