As the house came into view, Verona smiled, the wind whipping her in the face. Ezekiel came to a halt suddenly though, causing Verona to practically fly off of his body.
But it ended up to be more of a stumble.
"Whats wrong?" She asked.

The wound on his foot had gotten so it wasn't feeling to good. He got his balance back but he was limping now. He continued towards the house with a huge level of determination because he did not want her ego deflated.

He whimpered slightly though under his breath when he put all his weight on the paw. He growled at himself though, seeming to have an internal fight at the moment.

Cocking her head to the side, Verona watched Ezekiel limping around, and now, noticed the blood.
Instead of freaking out however, she stayed quiet, and walked up to him.
"What happened?" She asked calmly.

Ezekiel ignored what she said and she nosed her hand slightly. They weren't that far from the house now, actually it would be pretty close now and he could walk that far.

He whimpered again when he put his ful weight on the wound and it seemed to tear slightly. There was more blood on the ground again and continued to concentrate on just getting to the house since his ego would most likely be brusied if he did anything.

"Ezekiel please!" Verona shouted at him running back to him, walking with him now.
"Stop!"
Jumping down in front of him, she knelt down.
The blood just seemed to ooze from him now.
"Please stop.. You're just making it worse."

Ezekiel stopped when he saw Verona in front of him. He had a twisted expression at the present moment from the slight pain in his paw. When he stopped he sat down and lifted his front paw up to look at it. He could barely see it and ended up leaning forward against her on accident.

Sebastian had come out again and when he saw the two he looked confused. "Did something happen?" he asked.

Standing up suddenly, Verona pointed down on Ezekiel like he was a kid with his hand in the cookie jar.
"He is hurt! And he doesn't want to stop walking."

Sebastian shrugged slightly at first and approached him. He could easily drag Ezekiel in or carry him, with maybe a bit of help from verona.

"Do you want to help me carry him in so he doesn't injure himself further?" sebastian asked.

Verona nodded, looking down on Ezekiel. He always seemed to be getting into something.. Not really. But to Verona he was.

Bending down to Ezekiel's level, she smiled lightly.
"Please let us..?"

Ezekiel snorted slightly. He attempted to begin to walk away but Sebastian had already approached him. He looked wide eyed for a moment but then relaxed.

"All right," Sebastian said. "I need you to make sure his front side is supported well enough."

Sebastian bent down and tucked one arm under Ezekiel's back legs and the other in front of his fore legs.

Verona tried her hardest, making sure that nothing was left to sag.
It was a bit difficult though, since Verona was shorter than most everybody.

Sebastian struggled slightly as he began to walk towards the building. It didn't help with the fact that Ezekiel was purposefully trying to make himself seem heavier due to the fact that his ego was being severely bruised at the moment.

"Apparently you boyfriend has a bit of a ego problem," Sebastian said as he passed the garden.

"I noticed.." She replied, trying to make sure that Sebastian didn't drop Ezekiel.
"And it isn't helping!"

She knew Ezekiel was just trying to be difficult.
And it was making her angry, because it was hard enough to carry him at a normal weight.. But like this..?

"I heard something about the curse once," Sebastian said as he focused on the house. "That after its broken there are some occasion where they still change. I heard you have to convince them that they would be better off as a human so once we get him inside we need to try that."

He was having trouble again since Ezekiel squirmed slightly since his paw was beginning to ache a lot. The rain seemed to be picking up too and it was annoying him greatly.

Still sort of tagging along, Verona smiled.
"Leave him alone with me for a few minutes, and I think I can do that."

Verona had a game plan for this one at least!
She was already concocting what to say, and do. Oh she was certainly very sneaky today. Or maybe sneaky wasn't the word.

"All right," Sebastian said. "I'll bring him upstairs so he's more comfortable." When Sebastian had managed to get inside, with Verona's help. He went towards the stairs. It would be harder to go up the stairs due to the fact that Ezekiel seemed as though he didn't want to.

It took a few minutes to get Ezekiel up the stairs but he managed. When he had the chance he set Ezekiel down on the bed. "Have fun," Sebastian teased Verona on the way back down the stairs.

Rolling her eyes, Verona closed the door, and then walked back over to Ezekiel.
She managed to get him under the covers somehow, and then lay down next to him.
"Ezekiel, do you love me..?" She asked.

Ezekiel turned slightly to look at her with a confused expression. He had no idea where she was going with that one.

He made a slight growling sound that could be easily interpreted as 'of course I do you silly little girl' if the person knew how to read his expression well.

"I don't know what that means.." She said. "Was that a yes?" Judging by the look on his face, she assumed it was now.
"I guess so..."
After a brief silence, she began again.
"Then why are you doing this to me..?"

Ezekiel maid a strange expression and shook his head in confusion. He was starting to despise his inability to talk in this form but it was more comfortable.

He placed a paw on her shoulder gently and licked her cheek. He didn't want her to be upset and the way she was talking made it sound like she was going to be upset.

Her plan was falling into place now- somewhat.
"Then kiss me."
She knew this would burn him up.. It was only another thing he couldn't do.

Ezekiel let out a low whine that sounded a bit like a growl. He couldn't choose right at that moment and most definitely couldn't kiss her. He seemed utterly confused as he turned onto his back and snapped at the air slightly.

He turned his paw over so he could look at the wound and whimpered slightly. It hurt a little and it seemed there was a rock that had dug it's way into the wound.

Looking down on his paw, Verona frowned.
"It's going to get infected," she said.
Taking it into her hand, she examined it a bit. And indeed, if she didn't get the rock out of his paw, it would only make things worse.
"Do you want things to stay like this?" She asked him, her eyes holding some sort of pain to them. "Is this what you want?"

Ezekiel groaned again and pulled his paw away. It was working on him since the fur seemed to be disappearing. He desperately wanted to kiss her and he didn't want to be a nuisance with a infected paw.

When he'd changed back he looked surprised but immediately turned to Verona had kissed her. It was passionate since it had been a desire for a good four minutes that had been eating away at his mind.

Victory!
Verona smiled amongst the kiss, and brushed some of the hair from Ezekiel's face.
Even though there was a good bit of hair on the bed, he was himself again.. and that was what she wanted.

Moving her lips against Ezekiel's, she gave him everything she had, as if rewarding him.
