(this story takes place in motern time)There once was a girl named Maxine, she lived alone, because her parents died in a car crash, she lives in a small town with a mall, school and other people who live there.

(okay, let me start the RP:)
Maxine was walking down the path in the park on a friday night, she saw a bench and sat down and looked up at the stars. Its nice out tonight... Maxine thinks.

JJ came running around the corner and dove behind a tree. "I get back after four years in Japan, and their just the same as ever," he muttered.

Maxine starts to closs her eyes. "oh..." Maxine yawns. "So tired..." She starts to fall asleep, half falling off the bench.

(so whats going on so i know where to start)

JJ saw the girl on the bench. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, walking over.

selen runs through the town unable to see throught the tears in her eyes... she bumps into jj and falls over the bench that the gril is sitting on...

"woah!!!"

she comes to a stop on the ground and doesn't move

JJ rolled his eyes. "I stand corrected. Are you okay?"

selen looks up at him but doesn't look him in the eyes... she has bruses all over her face and body... her green eyes are filled with tears...

"umm... uh yeah i'm i'm ok"

Moki was sitting outside a store looking around. After about ten minutes he decided to take a short walk in the town. He sees a few people and he pauses to stare.
He slowly walks towards the people, trying to remain unnoticed. Moki was that good with people. His cat Riku was walking next to him. When he thought the people could see him he ducked behind a bench. Riku continued to walk. "Riku, stop!" Moki hissed quietly. Riku continued to walk and Moki looked around to see if there was a bush nearby that he could hide in. The closest one he could find was right behind the group of people. He tried to quietly crawl towards the bush, but once he came up to it his hand landed on twig and it snapped loudly.

"You sure? Hey," JJ saw her bruises. "That didn't happen when you fell over the bench. What happened?"

Selene looks around nervously. She sees no one near by that she recognizes. well that made sense because she had been on the road for a couple of days now. Her bruises were the deep purple of the semi healed. However she was still afraid that her father would come after her.

"Yes I'm fine really. It's nothing really I'm fine."

JJ raised an eyebrow. "You're a terible liar." He leaned against a tree. "It's not like I'll call the police or anything."

Moki stood up and looked over at the people. He wondered whether they had seen him. Riku jumped onto the bench where they were and meowed, Moki froze.

A horrified look crosses over Selene's face and her eyes filled with tears.

"Oh no please don't. I'm fine really. I'm just a bit clumsy is all."

Selene wasn't sure what she should do. Should she continue running? She really just wanted to find someplace to rest for a while. She pushed herself up but remained sitting, staring at her feet.

Moki decided to no longer hide. He walked over to the three and picked up his cat. "I'm sorry! My cat doesn't know any better!"

Selene looked up at the new boy but looked away before she met his eyes. She tugged at the edges of her clothing trying to cover some of her bruises.

"Oh it's o.k."

Selene focuses her attention on the cat.

"Oh how sweet. Can i pet him?"

Moki noticed the girl tugging at her clothing and wondered what was up. He held the cat out. "S-sure, you can pet him! H-his name is Riku."

Selene takes the cat and hugs it gently before scratching him behind the ears.

"Oh isn't he just the cutest thing? Oh my Dianna i forgot her. Oh where did she go?"

She whistles and her own puppy runs out from where she was hiding behind a tree after seeing the people that she didn't know.

Moki nodded. "Uh, yeah... I got her a month ago." Moki saw the puppy running out from behind the tree. Riku hissed. "Riku, its okay." Moki began staring at the ground. He wasn't all that comfortable around people. It was probably because he was alone a lot.

Selene hands the cat back to him so she doesn't get scratched and pats Dianna so she wont be jealous that she was petting another animal.

Moki took Riku back from the girl. Riku purred while watching the dog. Riku jumped out of his arms and sniffed the dog. "Riku, watch yourself." Moki looked at the girl. "Um, my name is Moki."

Selene watches the animals closely trying not to look at the man in front of her really knew what to do around men, not getting a good example from her father. She never Dianna crouches and then jumps back before running in a circle trying to get Riku to play with her.

"I'm Selene."
