Rude simply shook his head good naturedly.
"You must be sick or something, I'll make sure to mark this down as a red-letter day." He leaned against the doorframe and crossed his arms.
"Now, you just scream if youi need anything, I guarantee that at least one of us will come running, especially after that last bout we had scrambling all over creation to find you."

(Yeah, I woke up, and was like, "...SHIT!?" I woke up an hour later. XD)


Snuggling into the covers, she propped herself up on her arms, an nodded.
"Most definitely. I promise.. I don't think I want to get shot again."

Boy how she didn't. It was the worst thing she'd ever experienced, physically anyway. Reno seemed to be filling in the emotional section.
And as of a while ago, he also seemed to be handling the pain part a bit too well.
He certainly had that part down.

"So Rude, I think you need a girl friend," Danae stated, motioning for Rude to take the place beside her on the bed.

"That's nice to know, at least we know that you wern't trying to get hit." He smirked.

Rude cocked an eyebrow and moved over, opting instead to grabbing the chair beside the bed and turning it around to sit.
"And what in the world makes you say that?" He asked with a chuckle.
"I thought you had a case of it for Reno."

Giggling, Danae nodded, and poked Rude in the stomach.
"I do. But I think that you should go out, and find yourself a woman who doesn't mind ba- I mean shaved heads. I personally, am more of a hair type person. So therefor, things would never work for us Rude."

Hiding her face, she giggled more. Rude was at least double her age right? Well, no.
But mentally he was.

((I can't help it!! It's cute, in an odd sort of way, My dad does the exact same thing....only at like 12-1 o'clock in the afternoon XDDD He just needs a nap is all XDD))

He sighed and shook his head.
"You know as well as I do kid, that it takes a special kind of woman to look past what we are....there are those who still remember what Shin-ra did a long time ago...even before Meteor was a threat....and they don't look back on it kindly." He smiled at her.
"So you're going to have to promise me something, after all, I am his wing-man. Stick with him? That red-headed numbskull is going to need someone to take care of him, and it can't be me all the time. He may act like an idiot.....a lot, but he's got his good points too."

( I don't even know how it happened! I was waiting for your reply, and then I said, "Okay, well, I'll just rest my eyes. " -one our later- "NOOOO!?")


It was true what Rude was saying. But if she was able to look past everything, then why couldn't someone else?
"Well, there must be another nut like me out there. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone just right Rude."

Smiling up at him, she winked.

"Yeah, he's just...you know... Reno."

Closing her eyes, she leaned against Rude.
"I love him unfortunately."

He chuckled.
"Yeah, but knowing my luck it'll be at my funeral." He looked at the door.
"What with all this mess with the avatars......we still don't know what they're after.....or why they keep coming after you!" He ground his teeth together, then shook his head, now was not the time to dwell.
He smiled, and patted her head.
"Good to know.....good to know." He stood and set her upright.
"But you shouldn't be up, your side still needs a bit of healing before you're going out on any round trips. Just try to take it easy for a little while, bullet holes are nasty in and of themselves, but get really bad if you don't take care of them."

Pushing herself up slightly, Danae crawled under the covers, and frowned at Rude.
"Where is Renoooo?" She whined.
She didn't care about being up, she just wanted Reno to hurry up, and get done with Teseng.
She was afraid that if he moved around too much, he'd end up hurting himself more, and then have to spend a day back with Teseng again.

"I refuse to do anything without Reno being here."

Crossing her arms, she puffed out her bottom lip.
HURRY UPPPPP!

He could barely restrain the laugh that came out like a choke.
"Awfully fussy aren't we?" He observed.
"More sign of fatigue, if I were you I'd at least try to sleep, else you're going to start to get black rings under your eyes....Hmmm..." He seemed to consider this a moment and then nodded.
"A Danae raccoon....nice."
Reno hobbled up from the left, all but wheezing.
"WHEW!...forgot how far the garage was from here...." He peered in where Rude stood chuckling and Danae sat fuming.
"What'd I miss?"

Squealing, Danae tried her best to sit still, but failed as she began bouncing.
"RENNOOOOO!"

Giggling some, she pointed at Rude, and then threw what appeared to be a shoe at him.
"Rude is being mean!"
Hurling another shoe at him, she pointed still.
"He said I am going to turn into a raccoon!"

Crossing her arms yet again, she pouted more.
Rude had his good points, and then these points..
Danae wasn't quite so sure what to do with him.

Looking back to Reno, she smiled, and gave him the grabby hands.
She was groping mid air, trying to get him to join her back at the bed.
Raccoon, bleh!

Rude laughed and ducked.
"Reno--" Another duck.
"Tell your girlfriend that if she doesn't get some sleep she's going to look like you after that barfight!" He chuckled, shaking his head.
"What am I supposed to do with her?" Reno asked.
"She's more stubborn than I am." He hobbled over, and smiled.
"But you gotta love her." He sat on the edge and Rude sighed. Time for him to make his exit.
"Alright, alright, I know when I'm supposed to leave, just don't....don't do anything Teseng wouldn't do."

Smiling, Danae immediately wrapped her body around Reno's. She was like a cat or something, just curling up around him.
More or less, her arms were around his waist, holding him gently.
"Is this on a good day, or bad day?" Danae asked, mocking Rude in a way.
"Because today, he seemed quite nice actually."

Still holding to Reno, Danae rested her head gently against him. She wanted to soak up every bit of him that she could, just in case.
Hopefully everything, if you had the same dirty mind that she did.
No. But she was hoping to share stronger senses of affection with him one day.. But most likely, not tonight.
"So am I officially your girlfriend now..?" She asked Reno, looking up to him.

Reno smiled letting his arm fall over her back.
"You probably caught him on a good day, this is the most I've seen him smile in a month or more." Reno stretched out wincing as his side pulled just a little.
"Hmmm....I don't know, do you want to be?"

Smiling, Danae nodded.
"Of course I do silly.. Well, only if you want me.."
HEY! Who knows, right? Knowing Reno, he could have already changed his mind three or four times about the situation.
By now, he could be in love with Rude. Who knew?
Not Danae.

"I mean, if you don't, that's fine.."

Reno smiled and leaned down kissing her cheek gently.
"That's good......" He lay back sideways on the bed and gripped his side.
"Remind me to kill whoever cracked ribs three and four will you?" He asked with a grimace.

Cringing slightly, Danae took the place next to Reno.
"Was that a yes or no?" She asked him.
Because in her eyes, 'thats good', didn't count. Running a hand over Reno's hair, she seemed somewhat distracted by it.

"Is i really that bad..?" She was hoping it hadn't been. But judging by the way he was cringing, it was.

"That was a 'yes'." He smiled.
"Unless you'd rather take Rude, then by all means--"

He looked down his abdomen and sighed.
"No....not as bad as it was....just...hurts to breathe occasionally." He really wondered how she walked around for so long...surely hers were just as brusied if not more so than his.

Smiling slightly, she was glad that he did indeed, desire her for his own keeping.
But still, it was all her fault that he was in the state he was in..
"Do you want me to kiss it and make it better?" She asked.
"Cause I can."
Smiling a bit softer, she rested herself against Reno, a bit more so than before.

Pffh! Rude. He was okay.. But no. Danae had already found what she needed, and she was happy with it.
And if anything ever happened to Reno then.. Danae probably wouldn't have anyone. It was one of those times, where once you had the right one, nothing could replace that person. Rude would just have to suffer..

"Rude isn't good enough for me." Giggling slightly, she shook her head. "No.. But Rude doesn't compare to you..."

He smiled.
"Ah, but just having you here makes it all worth while." He ran his hand through her hair and began tieing bits of it into knots, only to shake them out again gently.

"Well, that's certainly good to know, I'd hate to have to play catch-up with him as my opposition, he's almost as bad a perfectionist as Teseng."

Closing her eyes, Danae allowed Reno to tangle her hair. She didn't mind it. It was probably already destroyed anyway.
"Mmm-hmm," she sort of mumbled against him. She was obviously a little, or a lot tired rather. It had been a long, long day. Her side still practically throbbed too. It was horrible..
"I love you," she said, holding onto one of his arms. She snuggled against it, making herself comfortable. She was so juvenile. But it worked out for the best..

He moved just enough to be able to look into her face and Reno smiled.
"You too love, go on you, you look like your about ready to pass out, why not go ahead and sleep. I'm right here and will be here when you wake up....promise. With these ribs won't be going anywhere anytime soon anyway."

(I understand that you go to school.. But why can you only get on Tuesday, and Thursday nights? :O)


"Oh, that's comforting," she sneered slightly, crawling up, and into the covers.
She was still holding one of Reno's hands though, ever so gently, as if it was just as bruised as the rest of his body.
"Seriously, so kind."

She was kidding with him in a way. She knew he'd be there, bruised or not.. And where had Rude gone? He wasn't going to sleep in the same room now..?

((I started doing that since I have to go to school those days, I can stay up and sleep in on my days off. That way I get up on time for school and stay on long enough to get in some Rping))

He smiled and kind of cocked his head in a haughty way.
"I know, aren't I just the gentleman?" He pressed his forhead to hers as if sensing her worry.
"It's early yet...at least for us. He's a big boy and knows to be in by curfew." Reno chuckled and pressed her head onto his shoulder.
"Just relax, rest is most important right now alright? I'll try not to molest you or anything." He grinned that stupid grin of his, and curled his other hand behind his head closing his eyes.
"Ahhhh...yes, the back of my eyelids are looking so invinting right now."

Curling against Reno a tad bit more, Danae had begun to settle into the darkness as well. t felt nice to be able to relax slightly, for once.
The man who'd wanted to interview her for that job, had probably long forgotten about her, though it'd only been a day. Where was her phone..? It wasn't in her pants pocket, was it? And even if it had been, she didn't have it now. Her pants were... somewhere. She'd been stripped of all regular clothing, because of the blood she'd leaked on everything, and everyone.
"Night.." She managed to get out, in almost a whisper.
Yeah, she'd be in trouble once she went back to the surface world. Once she woke up from this dream. It'd be terrible.. She'd be in such a financial hole..

He smiled, and was about to say the same..but no sound wanted to rise from his throat, his mouth moved in a silent 'goodnight' and Reno was out like a light....between the fighting, and the state his psyche was in....it was a wonder he'd lasted this long.
