[[It's okay, DustyDreamer~

Wow, Steffox, you're busy o.e;; ]]

]Shan looked at the man called Michael, wondering what kind of men he was, and what he was doing here. Was he lost, or not? "It's safe to assume you've met him before then," Shan said, after not speaking for a while.

Yuki listened intently for an answer, but kept to his self-appointed job. This could get more interesting, on a positive or negative note.

Ani licked her lips in thought before speaking, choosing her words carefully. "Yes..I have met him several times before, many years has passed since then." She said looking at Shan. "He is not someone to be safe about..." She thought some more, aiming the question at everyone but looking at Shan, "Has anyone of you ever heard of the Death Angel?" She asked. It was a name the many of his victims called him, if the ever lived to say it. "If you arent as old as we are, then you might now know what Im talking about." Ani said looking back at Micheal, he was much older than her. She stood up from beside him and walked away to the edge of the cave, tossing a glance back, "I suggest no one be near him when he wakes."

"As old as I am, I'm not sure if I've heard. I'm not the type who gets out much unless I truly have to," Shan said as she peeled some of the bloody crusts from her hair. What a nightmare. There was a certain irony to it, cruel and clever. She took Ani's advice to heart. She'd rather not touch him, ever again. She kept a close eye on Yuki and Phineas as well.

Ani sighed and turned, She peeled off a layer of frill from her dress, but it was still left unchanged. She handed it to Shan, "Micheal is a...fallen angel. He is not pure of heart as you are Shan." She said, she knew Micheal would probably mark her as an enemy if he came to know that she was telling these strangers his personal history without his consent. But Shan had saved him, she at least deserved to hear. "He is a death dealer. He kills and goes to war to kill, he looks for a reason to kill and any little fault he does. This is his nightmare. Being around 700 years old, he has dropped emotions. He fears feeling again, feeling the pain that he has caused all those that has fallen at his hands." She said glancing over at the body on the ground. "He is the type of person that would make a great ally, but an even worse enemy. He is very dangerous. I met him at several wars, as well as he has helped with tasks I have been paid to do in the years gone back. And even though you might consider him my friend, I do not. I know that one day our backs will be against each other and it will be a bloody battle to the death." Ani stopped herself from saying anymore. That was Micheal summed up in one word, a death dealer. She closed her eyes for a moment, "What I want to know is what he is doing here.." She said mostly to herself. She distanced herself from the group to watch the blood rain continue to fall. The smell was acidic now.

A fallen angel? Now this was quite interesting. Shan had met only one fallen angel before, but the one she had met was considerably older than herself, closer to the age of the Dreamweaver. This fallen one, though, was considerably younger than herself. However, her business was not to punish or deal with the Fallen; she only met but one. It was her sister, who they called "The Judge" who dealt with angels like this. Shan brought her mind back to the immediate moment. The question Ani had asked was a good one. "Perhaps, he sensed something...."

Ani didnt say anything, she didnt know anything about Micheal to tell his story, and she was regretting that she did. She silently stared at the reddened earth and wished that he would wake up already. It would make everything so much easier if he would awake and the rain would stop. She knew it would once he awoke. He was trapped in a dream, within another dream in his head and until he woke, it wouldnt stop raining.

((baaack. Hope someone's around to play with me now that I'm hereee *needs her fix* ^_- ))

Phineas sucked doggedly at the bloodied rag, ignoring the bitter taste. His eyes kept wandering to Michael as he helped Shan tidy up. Another angel... he couldn't believe it until he saw the guy's wings. Shan was too perfect, she was definitely an angel. The man with the blood rain dreams, though... an angel? He couldn't believe it.
If waking him up was what it would take to make the rain stop, maybe someone should take it on themselves to do the waking.
This blood was bitter, it was caked all over Shan, and it wouldn't stop falling. Phineas tossed these thoughts around in his head until his anger resolved itself into action. He spit out the first rag and dropped the second bloody cloth. He started towards Michael, his head lowered in determination. This would stop now.

Ani had her back turned to Micheal, so she was unable to see Phineas moving towards him. She was looking at the rain so intensely that she didnt notice that the blood was becoming lighter in color.

The lighter rain also failed to catch Phineas' attention. He was set on waking this blood bringer and perhaps holding him accountable for Shan's state. He settled near the body and looked through the folds of his toga for the handmade fishbone needle that he had left threaded into the fabric for safekeeping...

((Jaws theme song playing XD))

Ani folded her arms across her chest as she sighed closed her eyes and then reopened them. She looked down at her feet, her hair covering her face. It was short, but long enough to do that. She felt is now, tired and fatigue. Waiting and sitting around was not her stlye, it bored her and made her less alert, less focused.

Micheal felt the presence near him and his breathing went still. Up his arms were sheaths that held ten inch titanium knives, good for close up contact, like now. He remembered nothing and was slightly confused about where he was, and why we was sleeping. But confusion didnt hider his cat like movements. In a mere second Micheal had drawn out the blade and grabbed the boy by him around the neck, placing the cold blade against the nape. He needed no help to stand as he bent backward and used his feet to flip up. He dangled the boy in the air, noticing he had no legs, but caring even less. "One movement from any of you, and Ill slit his throat." His silky voice filled the cave.

((We're a couple of troublemakers, you and I... just when everything was (kinda) calming down...))

And there it was! Phineas found the needle and drew it out of the cloth, looking for a nice little vulnerable spot to poke the newcomer.
Before he could even decide between the webbing of Michael's fingers or just under his jawbone, Phineas found himself in a completely new situation. He gave a choked cry as he was taken hostage.
Thinking quickly, he jabbed the needle behind him, hoping to stab anything fleshy within reach.

((Lolz, we are.. XD One more post and then Im off to bed ^^))

Ani heard the voice and turned around, a dagger found its way in her hand, and she was in a new stance, her feet planted on the ground perfectly. "Micheal let him go. Hes no harm to you.." She said sternly, not even recognizing him under the bloody mask he wore. She spared a glance outside and saw that it was now plain water that fell to the ground, how did she not notice that?

Micheal felt the pin jab into his chest and swatted it away like a fly. He turned to the familiar voice, Ani. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at the others around him. "Where the hell am I Ani. What are you doing." He said his voice never raising an octave, but still sending chills down anyones spine. He had backed to a wall to keep his eyes on everyone. He tightened his grasp on the boys neck, "A little more pressure and Ill snap his neck, my blade will only come second, now answer me." He said.

((oh wow, I hope we don't leave Phineas dangling here all night... I wouldn't be able to sleep O_O))

Well that hadn't worked. Phineas clawed falteringly at the hand around his throat, hating his own clawless hands, so soft and defenseless. He couldn't kick at the man either. How incredibly pointless and silly he must look to everyone, so confident yet obviously so broken. Doubt rode the wave of blackness threatening to crash down on him. He pushed it away and focused on somehow turning the tables back to his favour and against Michael. His fingers probed desperately for a space between his neck and the big hand around it.
"You..." he rasped, breathlessly, "are no angel."

[[LOL You're all going to give Shan a heart attack XD ]]

Shan had stood up at this point. An angel in a bad mood was something to behold. Two was even more of a sight. "You, sir, are in a cave, saved from the bloody rainfall by my grace. And I am beginning to wish I had left you there on the ground." She looked from Michael to Phineas, and back to Michael again. "I would say you owe me a favor. Put him down before I decide to singe your jugular." As she said this, a crackle of lightning could be seen between the fingers of her right hand. She'd hit him at the speed of light if she had to. These two had definitely gotten off on the wrong foot.

((I know... poor Shan! ^_^' Sorry....))

Phineas felt like a complete useless fool now, having to be rescued (again. what a way to thank her for the first time... times?) Although he trusted Shan with all his soul, his experience with lightning was that it wasn't very selective about who it was supposed to be striking. He wasn't sure if this still held true with angel lightning. In any case, now he was certain that being between two angry angels was worse than being between a rock and a hard place.
He could feel the cold murderous presence of the blade hovering around his throat, and decided to focus on neutralizing that threat first. He called forth everything, every last ounce of power that he could generate, using the memory of the night's comfortable sleep and his feelings of being wanted, his love of Shan, to force the power to work.
His pupils became slits, the golden irises burning with internal fire, and the skin from under his chin all the way down to his collar bone turned brown.
He couldn't make the scales manifest themselves entirely, but their strength, as hard as (if not diamonds) quartz, would surely serve as enough protection should the angel decide to made good on his threat of cutting him.
As for neck snapping, he'd have to hope for the best on that one.

As her foul mood increased, so did the lightning between her fingers. It elongated into what almost looked like a blade. Shan would not miss. Thousands of years of experience ensured that. She avoided looking at Phineas now, fearing that he would mistake her anger as being directed at him. She was cross, and would probably remain so for a while. She longed to go out in the rain, but present danger stopped her.

My god, what kind of people did I get myself tangled up with?!?

As Ani recounted Michael's story, Ari tried to stop himself from looking so shocked. He, for one, was completely human and for all of his eighteen years, have never heard anything so wild. Remember, he thought to himself weakly, this is the Dream world. Anything is possible here. For a moment he looked at Michael's face intently - indeed, this blood-covered face held none of the serenity or grace that Shan's did. He was completely at ease, even with Ani's warnings that Michael was a dangerous being, and thus, he was completely ticked off with himself when the man leapt up and grabbed Phineas as his hostage.

I'm turning soft... why was I so cautious when Phineas had showed up?! His thoughts churned furiously as his eyes probed the man's face. The atmosphere of the camp had changed so suddenly; in the blink of an eye, the tension in the air had become as tight as a cord. Ari contemplated to befuddle the man with an illusion, considering that he now beheld the knowledge of the man's weakness, but it was risky... He watched with interest the change that came over Phineas and grinned inwardly at the thought that the child was a dragon, after all.

"You're in the Dream world," he said as he finally decided to speak up and give the man some idea of the kind of situation that he was in. "And I would suggest putting the child down - I can tell you right now that the best, no, the only chance of getting out of here would be to travel with this lady here you see with the lightning... Surely even you can tell that your threats aren't going over too well." He was still sitting on the ground at this point - or at least, so it would appear to Michael. Being an illusionist was pretty handy during moments such as this.

Ani held Micheals gaze, "Let him go..."She said her voice neutral. She was angry at herself for not being more cautious. She would kick herself later when this mess was sorted out it was a big misunderstanding, an worse it was between two angels. She had no idea what Micheal was capable of. Shed only seen him use his arrows and knives as weapons, by god the man never even showed his true self to her.

Micheal cracked his neck as the the night before came flooding back and cursed profusely and not hiding it. "I know where I am boy." He said to Ari. "My logic is not twisted and neither am I warped by the pathetic Dreamweavers incapable releases." He said. He turned steely gray eyes to the other only angel in the cave. "I know that I was out there. Why the hell do you think I was? There was a forest that could of shelter me. I knew what was happening. And the only way to defeat it was to lay down and be soaked in it. I welcome nightmares and I know my way around them." He said angrily, each word pronounced with much force. He knew what he was doing, and more over did not in the least appreciate her kind of help. "But I guess being an angel like yourself you of course MUST be right, so I must only oblige." He said tossing Phineas across at her, his tone mimicking that of a stupid person. He grounded his teeth from saying any more. He knew who she was. He knew who her sister was, and if it wasnt a crowd before him he would of killed her in revenge of what she forced him to become. She might be old, and she might have that power of a true angel behind her, but his was all pure hatred. As a torment of pain in his eyes flashed he blinked, a second and it was completely gone. Micheal turned to Ani, his blade still out. "I ask again Ani, what the hell are you doing out here." He said.

Phineas was shocked and having been thrown, but swiftly caught himself on his hands and somersaulted safely onto the ground, where he sat heavily, wincing. His reflexes were still good... the brown proto-scales on his throat disappeared like a rubber band snapping off a finger. He caught his breath.
He glared at Michael, dusting himself off and standing on his hands again, shakily. He wanted to ask how the angel would get away with hurting people who had done nothing to him, but remembered the fishbone needle and realized he wasn't completely innocent of malice. He stayed silent, mentally kicking himself for being so hot-headed.

Shan made sure that Phineas was alright, then stood up, lightning still in her right hand. "Well, excuse me for being fooled by your fine acting. Those screams of terror were truly convincing." With that, she threw the lightning into the ground, vaporizing a rock, and leaving behind a steaming hole. The area where she had striked was completely black. She turned on her heel and walked out into the rain. Furious did not cover what Shan was feeling as she stood in the rain. She had lost her temper, and it shamed her.

Inside, Yuki sat next to Phineas, bothered by the tension. His mother had left, the tension still lingered like an oppressive gas poison.

Ani had sheathed her dagger, despite herself wanting to keep it out. If she had realized it was Micheal, she would of kept Shan in, instead of letting her go out to rescue him.

Micheal threw a dangerous look at Shan, "I wasnt screaming for help. You rescue someone when they call for help. Inviting yourself into someplace, especially someones nightmare is very very stupid, and your not even human." He said looking at Ani before looking at the hole she had created in the ground. "Control that temper of yours. An angel your stature should be more careful with their emotions." He said simple walking away and to the end of the cave where Ani stood.

Ani sighed. "Micheal, I should ask you the same. Im here sought out by Shan to help in setting the world as it once was." Ani looked at him, his face was cleaner than before, he was somehow absorbing the blood. Everytime she looked at his face it was cleaner and she could see a little more of him.

"You mean awaking that DreamWeaver." He spat out. "How can someone so irresponsible be in charge of the worlds dreams and nightmares." He said looking at the rain that was still falling.

Yuki looked up at Michael, not appreciating his attitude, but saying nothing on the subject. "Dreamweavers are not granted their powers, they are born with them. One cannot choose who is 'responsible' for the dreams of the world. Many who covet the Dreamweaver's powers have no way of taking it, and the Dreamweaver herself cannot rid herself of it. If she could, she would have done it many years ago." Yuki kept quiet for a moment, then resumed, this time stating his opinion, rather than facts. "Personally, I think she was more responsible than anyone else ever could have been. And for such a long time, too. In a world like this, where people have so much to worry about, and so many chances to focus on the negative aspects of life, the Dreamweaver is forced to see all those things. Dreams are constantly flowing through her mind, never giving her a moment of peace. More often that not, she can't even hear herself think. "

[[Summary: Michael's nightmare was the source of the blood rain, and now that he has woken up, the rain still continues, but it's just water. Right before he woke up, Phineas got a little to close with a needle, and Michael took him by the neck as his hostage. Shan threatened to kill Michael on the spot, but Ani managed to convince Michael to let Phineas go. Once Shan was sure Phineas was safe, she stepped out in a foul mood. That's as short as I can get it XD;; ]]

((deep down, Yuki must be kinda happy to have someone be shorter than him for once, huh? XD I need to figure out how tall Phineas is, without and with appendages))

"Dreamweavers see all our dreams..." Phineas mumbled, as if trying to find a way to digest this information himself. He looked at Michael, and thought of all the awful dreams that radiated from the fallen angel, and how many more must radiate from every mortal being on earth. How awful. He had an insight:
"We did not enter your nightmare." He said, slowly picking his way through his words like a man afraid of finding a snake hidden in tall grass. "It... found us. We did not ask to be put into it."
