Hime cocked her head to the side and searched the garden with her eyes. "I'm pretty sure there are some shopping, although I think the shops are gonna close once night fall has fell. Nalin's already closed, he seemed sleepy and a little bit droopy when I saw him. I noticed his flowers weren't going anywhere. I felt so bad I just wanted to buy those pretty hair pieces. I also talked to Li Mei, she had quite the opposite to say with her shop."

Takumi sighed as he came back from his thread in the exchange. "So far nothing, although I got a really good tip from Rainy." He sat next to his sister as she looked around for nothing particular.

Redd nodded,"Yeah. You're right. It's too tempting..." She sighed and said,"Now, where do you want to do?" She looked around.

Puff tapped her chin. She'd already been to most places, while Redd claimed to be fairly new. "You can decide! I'll be like your entourage!" she chirped happily.

Redd wondered and wondered."Nah, you should pick....Somewhere where you go alot, or somewhere you recommend...."She looked around again.

Takumi looked down at his feet. "I really should get my shoes. Walking barefoot all around Menewsha isn't the healthiest thing." He blinked a few times and got up. "Maybe I should check my thread again."

Puff eyed Redd suspiciously. "Why do you keep looking around?" she laughed. "Are you looking for something or someone in particular?" Then she thought of where to go... somewhere she goes a lot, somewhere she'd recommend? She goes to the threads in her siggie a lot... but there's other threads she goes to a lot, too. "Gah," she muttered under her breath. She can't make up her mind. Then, Puff remembered that she had stabbed a guy with a fruit knife. "Maybe we should go back and check to make sure he's not dead."

"No, not really. I'm not looking for someone in particular....well...i don't know...." Redd said,"Oh! Yeah. We should check on whoever he is..." She skipped over to the guy.

"Let's poke him with a stick!"

"Yeah!"Redd said, looking for sticks.

Takumi sneezed and looked around suspiciously. "Someone is talking about me." He raised and eyebrow and looked up and then down, he had just come from his thread and he was a little bit tense. "Any second....someone could stab me....LIKE THEY DID JAKKO!" He began running back and fourth around the garden. "SOMEONE IS GOING TO KILL ME! I CAN JUST SMELL IT!"

Shan kept eating ice-cream, thinking about how she had wasted all her quest gold on an avatar that she had not even planned. Sure, it was quite a nice avatar, but now she didn't have that gown she wanted. She then heard something about poking someone with sticks. She sure hoped she wasn't the victim. She should really pay more attention.

Takumi rolled onto his side placed his hands over his eyes. "So boooored!" he let out a groan. "I wonder where Hime went." He looked up.

Puff prodded Jakko, but then she felt a breeze behind her. Turning around, she witnessed Takumi running back and forth across the garden. "..." Then, he rolled onto his side and started groaning. Puff went back to poking Jakko.

Takumi stared out at Puff and his motionless thread. "I'm pretty sure he's out for a good few hours." He stared at the price guide in the exchange forum. "Takumi is thinking about shoving his quest out the window and saving up to buy wings for his head." He patted his wingless head and frowned.

"What are you questing?" inquired Puff. She figured that if he was questing commons, he could just do it some other time; they're not going anywhere, after all.

Shan sat down with the container of ice cream, confused. Many people were trying to do too many things at once, and here they had an unconscious Jakko who looked convincingly dead. "Um.. Takumi-san," Shan offered meekly. "Maybe it's not good to use your gold impulsively. I made that mistake and I really regret it," she said, looking down at her crossed legs.

Takumi sat up. "Well commons," he motioned with his hands "I'm also questing for a Yumi Pin andand.." Takumi thought to himself, he knew there was something else he was questing for but he couldn't think of it. "Ah! Yes, bee slippers." He smiled.

"Well, the 50% Store thread usually has Yumeh Pins for around 250g, but bee slippers... well, they're really, really expensive, so good luck with that!" stated Puff, who then realized that wasn't exactly the most motivating thing to say to a quester. Puff left Takumi to plop down beside Shan again. "But the gown's still going to be there. You have plenty of time to save up and get it! It'll be there foreever and eeever and ever!" Puff said, trying to pep Shan up.

Shan smiled. "Thank you, miss," she said. "But...what about the oriental fan and the pudao of time? Those only keep getting more expensive." Her smile faltered a bit.

Takumi winced. "Reaaally expensive." He repeated, maybe he would get rid of that dream. He didn't really have any theme for the slippers, he just wanted to have them to have them. "Dove wingss." He moaned and then slapped the side of his arms, the bugs were beginning to bite.

Shan mused. "How much do the dove wings cost right now?" she asked.

Takumi closed his eyes and scratched the side of his face. "Ehehehehh, I don't really know right now. There are so many prices going around I don't know which are right or not. In my head currently the price is a little bit over 2k, maybe."

Puff felt bad for crushing Takumi's dream, but she knew that so many other people were questing bee slippers, too. She hated to be discouraging. She turned to Shan. "Well, there aren't really many sellers, so I'm sure that when there is one, you'd have a biiiiig big reserve ready!" Then, she turned back to Takumi. "Well, I got mine for around 300 gold... maybe you could find some for around 600g? I'm not sure, either...
I guess it mostly depends on the sellers you find. They were in pretty popular demand, though there weren't many in supply even during their month..." she trailed off. Puff groaned and put her head in her hands. She was being discouraging and mean again. |
Shan tugged on Puff's sleeve. "Is something the matter?" she asked when she noticed Puff's groan. "Are you hurting somewhere?"
