den nodded though he wasn't sure what to say. He didn't like communicating with people.

" Ok time to say grace!" Jake said. Jake's Granny looked around " Jake you can say grace this time." she said. Jake looked bug-eyed at his granny " me?" His granny glared at him " Oh right yes me ok!" Jake closed his eyes " Dear God thank you for this food we're about to receive. Also if can you do this kinda of brain washing thing can you convince Den to go on that sexy candle-light date with me I mean i dont know why he wont say yes! But anyway i would also like a pink pony and that belt that that one girl was wearing at the diner. Ok thank you! Amen!" Jake smiled

Den stared at Jake, some of the things he heard he could not understand. "Um... okay..." Den said.

Jake passed around the food and his granny looked at Den " So Den, i've heard you've lived here for your whole life. How is it here?"

"It's queit... but ocassionally there is a lot of ruckus and mishap," Den said. "But I avoid it all when possible."

Jake's Grandpa said " Well thats good son!" Jake put some food on his plate and passed the dish to Den. Jake began to eat the food on his plate. "So how did you two meet?" His granny asked Jake. " Well I was walking as usual and I got bored so I went into a diner and in there I met Den. Right Den?"

Den was staring at the food, "Yeah... that's right," he said, smiliing.

Jake smiled back at Den and continued eating his food. "We're going to go shopping ok Jake? bye!" His granny and grandpa walked out to the car.

"They didn't stay long," Den pointed out. "I wonder why that is???"

Jake stared at his food "I'm sorry." Jake sat there without eating looking down

Den stared, "Are you alright?"

Jake looked up "hm? Oh yeah i'm fine." He tired to smile without sadness on his face. " Do you wanna hang out some once your done eating or go home?"

Den nodded, he hadn't hung out with anybody for a very long time. "Sure. that'd be great!"

Jake smiled " ok." He began to eat his food quietly
