It was a cool Morning as Jake woke up to the sight of the yellow-orange sun peeking through his window. It was a Saturday so he really didn't have anything to do except walk around town. With His Black hair covering his left eye he got up and stretched. His blue eyes looked around. He opened his dresser and got out a white shirt and a pair of blue jeans. He changed and then went downstairs to eat breakfast.

Den woke up on a morning that was much, much cooler than normal. He got dressed quickly and headed out the door. He went to a local restaurant to get breakfast. He saw people staring at him, which he really didn't understand. He walked into the restaurant, there was nobody else eating there at the moment. He sat at the seat by the window and the waitress walked up to him and asked him what he wanted. Den order a large plate of bacon and continued watching outside the window.

Jake was full so he knew it was his time to walk around town like he usually does. He grabbed a jacket and walked outside. Enjoying the nature he went his special way like every day that he does, walks by the abounded house, then the school, then the local restaurant, and then turns around to go home.

Not many people were walking by that day. Den sat at the table eating his bacon, able to label everybody who walked by. "Mr Johnson... Ms. Cathrine... who's that?" Den saw a boy that he had never seen before. He was pretty sure he knew most people who lived in the town... but he may have been wrong.

Jake's shoe was untied when he was walking. He tripped and then quickly got up hoping nobody would notice. Jake decided to go into the restaurant for a cup of coffee.

The guy entered the restaurant. Den returned his attention to his bacon. He looked around and saw that there were no more seats in there.

Jake walked by Den and dropped his pen on Den's table " oh sorry" she picked up his pen and looked at Den and smiled " hey..."

Den smiled back and accidentally dropped the piece of bacon he was holding. "Hey..." he said quietly.

Jake smirked " mind if i sit here?" he flipped his hair out of his eye " I'd hate to have to not talk to anyone..........."

"Uh... sure," Den said, moving his plate so it wouldn't be in the boys way

Jake sat across from Den " I'm Jake" she said holding out his hand as for Den to shake it

Den shook Jake's hand, "I'm Den... nice to meet you."

Jake settled back in his seat "um...i'm 17" Jake stared at him hoping to make somewhat of a conversation

"I'm 16..." Den said in response. "You go to school anywheres?"

" Yea the one just up the street." she grinned

"That's cool... me as well," Den said. "I only go there halftime though..."

" So what are you doing after this?" he said

"I dunno..." Den said. "I'm probably going to go talk a walk in the park. It's what I normally do on slow days. What about you?"

" Oh I don't know, walk with this one guy in the park because that what he does on slow days like this one" Jake smirked

"Who'd that be?" Den said, since he was slow it would take several minutes for him to figure anything out.

" some guy named Den..." Jake tried not to laugh at how slow Den was.

"Den..." he said trying to figure it out. "Wait! That's me!" he said finally figuring it all out. "Why didn't you say so?"

Jake stared at Den for a moment then busted out laughing for like 5 minutes " Woo! I wanted to see how long it would take you to figure out."
