((i still want to do all the collecting and body essence sucking but use different means for it, byut if you want me to be evil and deviously cruel i can do that))
|
((but if your character is all nice then why would he hold people captive? Plus if he suddenly turns all nicey nice then the point and drive of my character is completely lost. I can't exactly change her now...))
|
((ok ok, shifting to evil devious and cold blooded killer of fuzzy kitten mode ;) beware some of you not sleep well at night after reading these post))
|
(( D: I really don't want to be mean. But, I would really prefer you chose another character.
It is just that I envisioned the Harvester in a certain way, and the entire change just kinda . .>.< I would really like you to continue this with us, but just to create a character of your own <3 )) |
((well i can switch the Harvester to the type of character you wish, we'll just say he's been messing with those twos minds is all))
|
(( Okay, let's give it another shot. xD
I was overreacting a bit. I'm kinda writing a story with this plot, too. O: xD So, I envisioned things playing out in my head. >.< )) |
((lol i understand, just for future reference, something you can always do is give people profiles to fill if you want specific characters a certain way. I've done that sometimes and its worked well.))
|
(( Ack! *smacks forehead* I knew I forgot something! xD
Let's continue where we left off >:3)) |
((righto,))
The Harvester grinned as he continued up the stairs. It didn't matter how well they heard. They were freaked out enough to not try anything. That was all that matters, keep them off balance and brain washing worked so much easier. |
"I think that if it is for your safety, Sir will definitely help you out, Fayte." Lilly mused. "I'll always be here to help you, too. As long as we have Sir on our side, nothing will ever go wrong. Sir really is wonderful."Her eyes shone bright, as she spoke the ignorant words.
Before she was to say another word, a sound of footsteps cascaded off the stone floor. She quickly turned to see who was coming down the hallway, only to find Sir. Lilly quickly bowed, showing her sign of respect for the man, her hair falling in front of her eyes. "Sir!" She exclaimed, "It is a pleasure to see you." Alex really didn't know if this man was speaking the truth or not. She didn't care though, once she left this room she was going to try to use her powers. Carefully she rose from the ground, her hair tickling her back. She adjusted her skirt, and followed the two that left the room. Once she left the room, she felt as if a weight was removed from her chest. Like the proverbial shackles were finally released. The familiar sense she had when around others came rushing to her mind. She slightly winced at the force of it, as if her powers missed her. She attempted to control her powers, and read the mind of the man leading her and Kyle to their new prison, but sadly was unable to. She kept her eyes open for anything she could grab, and bring with her for escape. |
The Harvester leaned in close to Lilly and whispered 'get those power blockers set up in these rooms before an hour is out. Those sedetives will be wearing out soon.'
|
Kyle looked at the girl who captured her, visibly cringing at the sight of her. Oh how we wanted to liquefy her bones and maybe everything else if this place permitted. He could feel the sedative wearing off, seeing that Alex was suddenly rising off the ground. It surprised him, but in a good way. He wasn't sure whether or not to test out his won powers, lest they inject more sedative into his body. On the other hand it could mean possible escape. He weighed these issues carefully, turning to the Harvester and the capturer who were whispering.

Slowly Saori traced her fingers through the delicate frost her mind turning over every idea that passed through it. "I must figure out a way to get out of here... but I think it's going to take more than I've got to work with..." Her bracelet still sat on the floor glowing fiercly as if trying to command her to obey it. Her eyes shone with determination to come up with even a hint of a plan, her heart was racing with all her ideas. "I must calm down for now, I need to do as He says for the time being, and I shall construct my escape in secret. She whiped around and walked briskly across the room slowing only to snatch up her bracelet before she half ran out of the room. Saori slipped on her bracelet and spread her wings to fly effortlessly down the halls as she turned a corner she managed to run smack in to Lilly and sucessfully mangaed to bowl her over. "Ouch!!!"
|
Fayte smiled at Lilly's words. If she could successfully have the Harvester let the young man be her bodyguard, she'd probably be able to get him out. She turned as abrutly as Lilly did when she heard footsteps. The Harvester came into sight with two people behind him. She recognized one to be the one that she had unknowingly lend a hand in capturing. The small girl did a little curtsey in the presense of the Harvester, and bowed her head slightly.
"Sir." It was all Fayte wanted to say to him. She never did have much to say to him, nor did she like the man to the extent of Lilly. As she recovered from her curtsey, she looked at the young man with the red eyes. Her gaze was slightly intense but with a blank look, trying to convey the message of having him keep calm, and wanting to tell him that she'd try her best to get him out. It wasn't possibly for her to show any other sort of emotion, since it was too risky to do so in front of the Harvester. Her gaze was broken off when she felt a gust of wind that belonged to Saori come at them. "Saori!" |
Lilly was taken aback, slighty, by the glare the boy with white hair gave her. We were helping them right? With a quick nod to Sir's request, Lilly quickly turned to do what he asked. She then found herself flat on her back, with someone on top of her. She heard the person exclaim, her own cry of shock soon to follow. She tried to bring herself to her senses, and question who ran into her. "Would you mind getting off of me? And why where you running down the hallway?" she growled angrily.
Alex saw the woman who had kidnapped her, and she couldn't decide if she wanted to hurt her, or hide from her. If she was in a different situation, she would most assuredly try to attack her, but in her weakened state she would be vulnerable to any kind of attack. A saviour came in the way of a scream, Saori had ran into Lilly, causing a huge commotion. Alex took this time to see if anything around was viable for her to take, and saw a distracted guard's dagger on his belt. She quickly concentrated all her thoughts on the blade, willing it to come to her. It slowly released itself from the sheath and fell slowly to the floor, only to stop an inch from the ground. It then quickly shot over to where Alex was standing. She grabbed it and placed it in the top part of her knee-high boots. If anything, she had a weapon to help protect herself. |
Kyle's focus turned to Fayte who had just walked into the hallway. He had an unsure look on his face, as if he wanted to trust her, but couldn't. His eyes expression softened a bit though, as he received a look from her. He sighed, nodding slightly. He was even more surprised though, when Saori had crashed into the room, on top of the capturer. He had to suppress a laugh and was able to do so, seeing Alex try to get a dagger. He waited silently, seeing that she retrieved it successfully.
|
Saori scrambled to her feet and helped Lilly to her feet. "I'm sorry ma'am! I was careless, I'm sorry please forgive me." Bending low at the waist she bowed wincing at the pain shooting through her bruises and scrapes from the fall. "Sir I am sorry for this embarassment on my part I will be more carefull next time." Saori kept her eyes on the floor too scared to look either of them in the eyes. Oh great just great at this rate I'll be chopped up into little bits and placed in test tubes before I even get the slightest chance to get ymself out of here. "Please allow me to make up for my mistakes in anyway that you deem fit." Saori wished her lips would just glue themselves shut any moment now at least then they would stop digging her a deeper hole to crawl out of.
|
The Harvester was slightly suprised at Alex's quick thinking but bending down gave it all away. She is smart and when aimed in the right direction would do well. He wouldn't mention it yet. There was plently of time for that later.
'It seems as though things are not running as smoothly as they should be...but enough of this!' He said with a slight shout in his voice. 'We have not treated our guest as they should be treated. I assume dinner has been set for us?' He looked at a nearby guard, who nodded dolefully. 'Then let us eat.' He lead them all into the first room where a table set with a fine steak dinner was set. Sitting at the head of the table he looked pointedly at the others and at the several places set for them. 'Come! Food then tales.' He said with a grin, gesturing broadly.' ((The food has been prepared with an agent that neutralizes powers but has no effect on regular humans.)) |
Fayte followed obediently. Not actually interacting with the Harvester had it's downsides, since she had no knowing of what he was actually capable of. Hopefully the things Lilly had told her about the Harvester were close to at least half way accurate.
Food. If it was something she liked about this place, it was the good food that was served every meal. She took her seat as usual, one seat away from the Harvester, leaving that seat for either Lilly or Saori. She waited patiently for everyone to be settled in before she would start her meal. |
Saori took of the rear while walking to the dinning hall and took her place at the table between Him and Fayte. Almost imedeately she began to fuss over Fayte making sure she had everything she needed and then some. "Now eat your vegitables this time or you're going to stay short forever and make sure you drink all your milk, no feeding it to the cat this time. I don't care how disgusting you think they are you need to eat a healthy meal." One she saw that the girl was taken care of Saori waited for everyone else to be seated and served before helping herself.
|
As soon as Sir commanded the tomfoolery to stop, Lilly quickly forgave Saori. As everyone went to the table, she quickly went to the rooms to prepare the anti chamber blocks. It was a fairly simple process, it required her's or Sir's DNA to activate or deactivate. She placed her thumb on an imprint in the wall, it slightly punctured her skin to draw blood. She slightly winced at the pinprick. The system began to boot up and queried for a password. She quickly input the password and activated the chambers. This only took a few moments, and with a slight bounce in her step, she quickly followed the others to the room they were eating at. She took her usual seat on the right side of Sir, straight across from Saori. With a contented grin she smiled happily at Sir. "This looks really delicious, Sir."
Alex didn't really have a choice in the matter. She slowly followed everyone to the table. She took a seat the farthest away from Lilly, and the Harvester. She didn't want to be near them at all. She slumped resolutely in her chair, refusing to eat. She didn't trust them at all, and wasn't going to eat any of the food. Her stomach argued against her, but her will was too strong to give in. With a slight growl in her voice, "How about we just skip this pleasant meal and go straight to the point. The point being when you are going to release us." |
Kyle followed the Harvester to the table, taking a seat next to Alex. He hesitated to eat the food, a power struggle with between his stomach and his pride developing. On one hand, it felt almost like being pitied and at the same time, a bribe. Then again, his necessity needs were almost as strong, clawing at his stomach. He was about to take a bite, when Alex had spoke.
|
Fayte pouted as Saori pestered her about eating her meals properly. It was true that the small child was a rather picky eater. She didn't mind too much if she were to stay they same height for the rest of her life, as long as she didn't start shrinking when she got wrinkly, all would be fine.
"Yes, yes..." The girl sometimes could see the Saori becoming a good parent. At least she believed a good parent to act like the way she did. It would've been nice if her parents acted in a way such as Saori, but they didn't exist in this world anymore, so it didn't matter. Fayte reluctantly stuck a broccoli into her mouth and chewed. She was about to stick another one into her mouth, only to be stopped by the voice of the female that had been captured. The small girl winced. This could either turn out really bad...or not... You should've payed more attention to the Harvester's personality... Hush. |
((Just to let everyone know I will be playing The Harvester till FantasyWarrior is finished moving back to campus. So wish me luck! :squee: ))
(( Note: The Harvester shall be written in Pink. Because I like pink. :stare: )) The Harvester did not reply to Alex's comment, he merely lifted a delicate forkfull to his lips and enjoyed. He closed his eyes and savored the moment of silence before he spoke. "You shouldn't let such culinary genious go to waste. It would be an insult to the cooks." He let another delicate forkfull slip past his lips and followed it with a sip of red wine. He let his eyes drift for a moment to Fayte. "My dear do as Saori tells you, she knows what's best for you. I will have no arguments tonight." After another morsel he turned to Lilly. "How is the research going? Everything is going accordingly I assume?" |
Lilly grinned at the words Sir spoke, he always was the gentleman. She followed suit, taking a small bite of the food on her plate. Her tounge rolled around the flavours, an assortment of spices and herbs well placed on the decadent meat. She slowly lifted the wine glass placed to the right of her plate, it was from the Bordeaux region. Those always produced a very rich and full bodied wine. She slowly swirled the red liquid in the glass, watching the sugar residue cling to the sides of the cup. With a satisfied look, she slowly brought the glass to her nose to smell the bouquet. The spices foretold a good wine, she smiled slightly and sipped on the wine. An assortment of spices playfully entangled her tounge, including the flavour of spicy peppers, and a hint of vanilla from the aged oak barrels. She smiled at Sir, "A Cabernet Sauvignon, I presume. This is a really good compliment with the steak for this meal. You've out done yourself Sir."
With a nod, she replied to his query, "Yes, I had spoken with the scientists in the lab this morning. They said that the preparations are complete for the transfer. If you don't mind my insubordination, mighten I ask what is the transfer? Are we leaving the castle Sir? I've never lived anywhere else but here, it would be definitely something new." Her eyes were open and questioning, completely enthralled with her master. Alex practically shot daggers at the nonchalant attitude the Harvester presented. If anything, she expected for him to at least dignify her comment with any sort of usable answer. Her resolve would not be broken. She pushed the plate away from herself, and crossed her arms. She was disgusted with the manner her own capturer was acting with the very despicable man who caused this entire fiasco. Lilly was what the others called her, so she could only deduce that that was her name. Lilly seemed to be completely devoted to the bastard, and would be a very formidable foe in battle, if fought against. She could only guess the dedication was from a twisted manipulation from the Harvester, no human would have any sort of affection towards him otherwise. She said in a near quiet whisper, "I'd rather die. It is an insult to use for you to keep up this facade, just let us go and be done with it." The end of her sentence was almost screamed, her desperation showed through every syllable she forced from her lips. |
