Kyle stifled a snicker at Fayte and Saori. He tended to eat everything on his plate unless it was possibly poisoned or disgusting. In this case it was the former as he didn't dare pick up the fork. Alex seemed to be stubborn, not taking a bite either. He was hesitant, glancing at both sides before looking at Fayte, Saori, and Lily. They all ate and seemed fine, but would there we a profound effect on them later? He leaned back in his chair, observing what might happen next.

Once done fussing Saori began to enjoy her meal herself. She thought it was best to eat since wearing herself down and stressing herself out would get her absolutely no where in her plans for escape. She also knew it was better not to displease Him for his wrath was best when avoided. As the girl spoke she kept her eyes on her own plate she knew his temper was growing short though he showed no signs of it, she had seen this side of him far too many times. Cautiously she sipped her wine as if she were afraid the glass would break if she sipped too hard.

Fayte secretly let out a breath as the Harvester hadn't exactly responded in an explosive manner. She assumed that this was a sign of him being in a good mood...or something. The child could only nod obediently when the Harvester had told her to listen to Saori. She knew better than trying to be difficult at the table.
"Yes, Sir." She looked curiously over at the two that had been captured, and noticed that they didn't seem to have touched their plates yet. Fayte turned slightly to observe Saori who seemed to be handling her glass of wine a little too delicately. She also felt a sligh change in the atmosphere around the older girl. Bad sign? Like I would know? The girl slipped from the twirly straw that sat in her cup of orange juice and quietly listened to their small chatter. |
The Harvester calmly set down his fork beside his plate. He waited a moment then without making eye contact he spoke in a slightly forced composure. "Lilly and Saori will you please escourt yourselves and Fayte to the hall for just a moment, I will send someone to fetch you in just a few moments, I have a rather private matter that must be dicussed with our two guests." He waited for the three ladies to leave the chambers before he would continue. Once they had left he waited as several armed guards locked the large doors behind themselves after leaving the room. He let the silence hang in the room as he took another sip of his wine and savored it.

Unsure as to why Sir wanted her to leave, she quickly rose and did as he requested. "As you wish Sir." With a bow, she turned on her heels and left the room. Not understanding why she was removed from the room, she stood outside in hopes of being able to understand what was going to happen. The silence was almost defeaning to Alex. She knew she pushed it a little too far, but she couldn't handle the wait any longer. She just wanted for whatever was going to happen, to happen. She just hoped that she wouldn't die during the process. With a demure attitude, she questioningly looked at the Harvester. |

Kyle tapped his fingers on the table, trying to keep himself busy from the obvious silence. He wasn't sure what direction Alex was going to take things in, but hopefully she knew what she was doing. He sighed inwardly, looking between the Harvester, Alex, and himself, wondering what sort of thing he himself would do. Would he have a plan too? Hopefully he could always use his powers in case a fight breaks out. |

Saori said nothing as she rose from her chair, took Fayte's hand and escourted her from the hall, following Lilly. Once in the hall way a very uncomfortable silence fell, in hopes of lightening the mood a little Saori began to fuss over Fayte, cleaning her face of the bits of food that stuck to it. "I hope he's done before you're food grows cold... maybe the cooks can make you somehting else if it has, how bothersome..." The Harvester spoke to the two remaing guards within the dinning hall. "Fetch The Doctor, now." Instantly the smaller of the two ran out of the room as fast as his legs would carry him. He took another slow sip of his wine and waited his mind playing out how the comming situation would progress. After a few long minuted the guard returned with a man in his 50's dressed in a white labcoat. The Harvester spoke. "They will not eat what is placed before them. Please administer their medicine in a less voluntary means." "Of course." The Doctor smiled as two more people dressed in white labcoats entered the room along with six more guards. "Please don't make a fuss, it won't hurt a bit only a little shot." The Doctor smiled lightly as the other two people in labcoats catiuosly approached Alex and Kyle with their supplies. |

Kyle twitched, knitting his eyebrows together. "Oh gee, if I knew that you could bring white coats in, I might have eaten, but it doesn't matter now does it?" He was pissed since he was damned if he didn't and damned if he did. The only difference was that if he didn't it would hurt more. He ground his teeth as they came over, wondering idly if he would be able to melt the syringes once they came out. |

The small girl worried a little as she was asked to leave the room with the two older girls by her side. Hopefully nothing too bad would happen to those two. It would completely defeat the purpose of her trying to save that young man. Fayte was reluctantly pulled out of the room by Saori, with the same older girl trying to tidy the mess she had made on her face. For a girl her age, she still didn't quite care if food got stuck on her face. You know how obediently that Lilly girl acts?...Well it's kind of annoying... I'm sure you're not the only one feeling that... The child listened to Saori rambling on about getting food for her but she decided to stop the girl's frustration. The girl pat the older girl's arm and smiled. "Don't worry...I'm not that hungry, Saori." Fayte idly wondered when they'd be let back into the room. Hopefully without corpses sitting at the dining table, that is. |
The silence was truly killing her. Alex glanced over at Kyle, his face showing slight trepidation and anger. She was trying to valiantly think of any kind of escape plan that could get them both out safely. With a cringe at the tone of voice the Harvester spoke in, she looked in fear as the two men in white coats came into the room. Her eyes flitted back and forth between the two. She didn't know what was in those syringes, but anything from this man would not be good for her. She began to slowly beckon the blade that was hiding in her shoe. If she had to, she would give it her all. As an acrobat, she knew she had the advantage in movement against these two old men. She quickly looked up, and for once found something in her favor. There were high beams, running all along the ceiling. She knew she could easily jump up there herself, but the question was could she handle bringing Kyle along with her. She looked at the two men coming towards them, and then back at Kyle, weighing the decision in her mind.
With another quick glance, she made her move. She quickly summoned the dagger to her hand, and jumped to a defensive stance, on top of the dining table. She hoped that with her mind's powers, and Kyle's ability to melt anything they could form some type of escape. With a quick turn she pivoted her body so she now faced Kyle, her hair flying freely behind her. "I'm sorry for what I am about to do, but please trust me," She rushed out, her eyes pleading for Kyle to understand her. She jumped as if she was going to attack Kyle, but before she actually touched him, she grabbed his arms and with help from her powers, leaped to the top of his chair dragging him along. Despite her small stature, she was fairly strong, she had to swing on bars, and ropes in the air almost all of her life, so this wasn't any different. With a quick movement, she released the dagger, it now floating on it's own beside her, and jumped from the top of the chair to the dangling chandelier in front of her. The hard part though, was bringing Kyle with her. As her body swung back she locked her legs around the boy's waist, his added weight giving them more momentum to move. She concentrated fully on trying to move him, to give her less strain upon her body. With that, she swung Kyle and herself forward up towards one of the beams. She was gratefull for the use of her powers. She quickly held to the beam her arms straining against the weight pulling her down. With a slight force of breath she spoke, "Now, climb up Kyle, I don't think I can hold you much longer." |
The calm demenor that claimed The Harvester's face like a king claims his thrown was shattered the moment Alex made her move. A look of pure rage crossed his dark eyes as he nearly screamed Lilly's and Saori's names. "GET THEM UNDER CONTROL NOW!!!! I WANT THEM DETAINED AND SEDATED NOW!" The Harvester yelled at the guards to go fetch more guards to help control the situation, he then yelled at the older doctor to go retrieve mroe sedative and more doctors from the labs.
Saori ran into the room the moment she heard the Harvester speak her name. Immedeately her wings began to push themselves out of her back once unfurled she took to the air. Saori snatched one of the syringes out of the Doctor's hands as she flew past them and readied herself for the inevitable struggle as she closed in on Alex and dived for her. Kyle felt himself being dragged as Alex carried him up towards the beam and away from the two people in coats. He nodded to her, pulling himself upwards as he climbed away from the people on the ground. He saw Saori grab a syringe, closing in on ALex. He felt alarmed, but not yet hysterical, as he concentrated on that syringe, watching the glass melt and the liquid inside inevitably, fall out. He sighed in relief as he watched Alex.

Fayte winced as she heard the Harvester screech for Saori and Lilly. She watched as Saori quickly manuvered into the room and retrieved a syringe from the doctor. Her efforts had seem to fail as the syringe was liquified almost immediately. Aren't people always in a rush nowadays.. I don't think that you'd want a needle stuck on you either... The child just stood there, wondering if the Harvester would require her assistance. Making a move on her own would no doubt bring about some trouble. She could only stand down and await for instructions. |

Anything Sir commanded, was like a mission to Lilly. She didn't even bother to run into the room, but merely teleported right next to Sir. This was to assess the situation, and to make sure her master was safe. Her eyes narrowed, almost afire, with uncontrolled rage as she watched the two newcomers defy her master's wishes. With a quick bow of respect to Sir, she quickly teleported to the rafters not even bothering to grab a syringe. Once Kyle climbed atop the beam, Alex quickly pulled herself up. She was slightly short of breath, she hadn't had to ever extend the usage of her powers with such a weight. Usually it was only to help herself, not herself and another. The Harvester's scream echoed loudly withing the room. A buzz of commotion was seen below as guards and doctors came out of the woodworks to attempt to capture Kyle and Alex. Alex grabbed the dagger she had stolen, ready to attack Saori once she made it up here. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. She realized, though, that Saori had a syringe in her hands almost too late. With an overwhelming sense of relief, she watched the dreaded liquid within the syringe fall harmlessly to the floor, as Kyle melted the syringe. She turned and started to jump to the next beam. "Let's go Kyle." She forced out, the beams weren't too far away for him to be able to jump. What she didn't expect though, was for Lilly to be waiting on the beam she was jumping too. In hopes of injuring the woman, she raised her arms up with the dagger in hand, and attempted to pierce her heart. Lilly was unable to react in any way except ducking slightly. With a satisfied smirk, Alex grinned at Lilly, after retrieving her dagger from the woman's shoulder. With a quick step, she slide off of the beam, her arms grasping it, and swung her way to a far off beam, thinking Lilly would not be able to come after her. At first, Lilly didn't know how to react. She had never had such an attack on her before. She could only just stare as the blood from her shoulder stained her shirt, and dripped endlessly down her arm and chest. Lilly grew enraged at the thought that she was attacked. She ignored the red liquid that was steadily flowing from the deep wound, and the terrible throbbing in her shoulder. Within a blink of an eye, she teleported in front of Alex, yet again. This time not giving the girl a chance to do anything. Lilly looked at the surprised girl, as she punched her hard in the stomach. Alex fell from the beams, knocked unconscious. Lilly then teleported in midair to where the girl was, and wrapped her arms around her, then before they fell any further she teleported directly in front of Sir. She dropped the unconscious Alex unceremoniously on the floor, giving her a kick for good measures. Lilly then stood tall, her eyes still shone with anger. "Sir's wish is my command." She stood and waited for his next command, not even bothering to tend to the lethal wound on her shoulder. |
"Alex!" Kyle cursed himself for not being able to prevent what just happened, only being able to climb higher. He looked at the Harvester and then at the floor under them, debating whether or not to melt the floor under them. He didn't though, knowing that it would be too thick and would take too long. He jumped, catching himself on one of the rafters. He looked back at Lilly, focusing on her hand and starting to melt the skin on the back of her hand in order to get her distracted.

Saori roared with furry as the syringe melted and slipped through her fingers. She kept flying right at the two, and when they moved she used the beem to her advantage to change directions and hurled herself down towards Kyle, how was nearly in her reach. As Kyle appeared distracted she made her move and tackled him off the beem from behind. She let her lips rest beside his ear for a moment as they fell to the floor. "Please, just trust me." Saori pulled out of the dive and circled quickly towards the ground, catching a syringe that was tossed up for her use. She slipped the sharp end of the needle beneath his clothes but let it sit parallel to his body and did not let it pierce his skin. "Now faint." She whispered into his ear as she pulled the needle out of his clothing and set down on the ground.

Kyle felt a bit of whiplash as his neck bent back from being tackled. He twitched at Saori's instructions, being dragged for the second time, but decided to at least follow them. He watched the syringe be caught by Soari, almost fully injected into his body. He closed his eyes, expecting a pinprick that never came. He mentally sighed, pretending to faint as he waited for the needle to be taken out of his clothes.

As suddenly as the ticking by of another second on the clock The Harvester's expression changed to a slight upturning of he corner of his lips in a smirk of satisfaction. "You have done well ladies. I'm happy with both of your performances. You shall both be rewarded for your loyalty." He stepped towards Lilly and let his fingertips touch her shoulder and slide her sleeve jsut far enough so he could see the depth of the wound. "Doctor have your best surgeon tend to her wounds, if there is any mistake in the practitioning upon her wound I will have them removed." He caressed her cheek then turned to Saori. "You did well, but if you had worked with Lilly as a team there would have been no injuries. For that you shall be punished. You will tend to these two pests night and day. You're lucky the outcome had not been worse." He reached out and struck her across the face, a look of shock and pain crossed it for a split second then her face became blank once again. A moment of silence passed then The Harvester reached out and caressed her red cheek. He then turned towards the doors of the dinning hall. "Come her my dear." He spoke more softly to Fayte and held out a welcoming hand for her. "Gaurds take these two to their rooms." He nodded his head towards the two he belived to be uncontious.
"Sir, allow me to begin my attonement by assisting in taking these two to their rooms." She got the reply she wanted and with that grabbed Kyle around the waist and heaved him up under her arms like a giant rag doll, letting his weight rest on her hip and walked out of the room after the guard carrying Alex. Saori prayed that Kyle wouldn't give away the fact that she had not drugged him as seh walked as fast as she could to the room where he would be staying that she had prepared earlier. Thankfully she had been able to get him to the room and locked the door before unceramoniously dropping him on the floor. "You're really heavy you know." She looked down her nose at him with a slight smirk on her lips. |
Kyle waited with his eyes closed, listening to the conversation. The Harvester must have been smirking considering his "victory". He wanted to melt the man, then and there, but that would give away his acting. So he forced himself to lay there, though knowing that he could trust Saori now. Soon after, he felt himself being dropped. He winced, rubbing the back of his head before starting to sit up. "Well sadly being on the run makes you develop muscles."

"Is being less of s whimp a bad thing?" She laughed for a moment then became serious. "Let me make this very simple, you cannot use your powers in this room, and everyday I will be resposible for giving you the sedative, So you are going to have to act like you've been drugged or else they'll catch onto us and we will never get out of here. Not to mention now I have to find a way to get your friend to play along..." She stood there thinking for a moment, after a bit che spoke again. "I need to check on your friend and then I must return to Him. I will come see you as soon as possible so just hold tight and think of something, and remember don't let anyone catch you awake understand?"

Lilly cringed as her hand began to burn uncontrollably. She had no idea how, or why that was happening. She grimaced in pain, too distracted to do anything except bear the pain. As quickly as the pain came, it receded just as fast. She was able to calm herself, and take over the pain shooting through her body. She blinked away a few tears, as the Harvester spoke to her. His voice a calm, soothing baritone. She tried to smile happily for him, she always felt better when he was pleased. She tried not to wince as he gently tended to her wounded shoulder. The soft caress on her cheek was like a healing balm to her, she slightly leaned into it, her eyes fluttering closed. Once his warm hand left her face and went to talk with Saori, her knees slightly wobbled. She sunk down to the floor, the surprise from actually receiving a wound coming to realization. One of the doctors took hold of her arm gently, and led her to the medical ward.
((Ahhh, I made Lilly into a crazy person. xD )) Alex wasn't completely unconscious, but the pain in her stomach and ribs told her to not move. She heard lots of background dribble, but was unable to fully understand what was going on around her. Her powers, though, helped her feel the emotions fluttering across the room. She felt no immediate intent to kill her, so she remained completely still. She felt two powerful arms wrap around her waist, as she was pulled up from the floor. Her body swayed carelessly two and fro as the guard carried her to her room. Unbeknowst at the time, it was directly beside Kyle's own. A soft swoosh pronounced the opening of the door, to her new cage. With a few more steps, she was tossed cruelly onto her bed and left alone. A slight groan of pain escaped her mouth. Alex slowly opened her eyes, the florescent lights glaring down at her. She tried to move, tenderly attempting to get into a comfortable position, without hurting herself more. Lilly's kick did worse that she thought. Moving her arm over top her eyes, she sighed, "What am I to do now?" |
Fayte winced as she watched the young man get subdued. She hoped it hadn't been too painful for him. The child knew that it wasn't a smart move to try to escape, since they were so greatly outnumbered. Even given their powers, they'd eventually lose in stamina to the men under the Harvester. As she watched Saori bring forth the young man she had recaptured, the girl winced a second time as she was struck across the face.
"Saori..." She whispered the older girl's name, afraid to say it too loudly and have the Harvester punish her for pitying the girl. She wanted to comfort her, but she knew that now was definitely not the time, given his rather raging behavior. "Come here my dear." Fayte took the Harvester's outstretched hand obediently, not wanting to defy him in any way. She needed to keep her life to rescue the young man's. |
"I'm sorry you had to see that my child." He spoke softly puching a stray lock out of Fayte's eyes. "Those two were very dangerous people and they had to be controlled before they killed someone, you understand don't you my sweet?" His tone was soft but his eyes were sharp and hinted at malicious intent, though not directed at Fayte. "Now, run along. I know you weren't hungry anyway so I'll have a treat brought to you later." With that the harvester left the room followed by the scientists, leaving the guards and the maids to clean up the mess. He went down to the laboritory intent on having a rather heat discussion with the lead doctor.
Saori left Kyle's room, makign sure to lock the door behind herself and opened the door to Alex's room. "Well you took quite a beating now didn't you? Serves you right for not just going along with it. Would have been a lot less painfull if you had." Saori's face held no epression as she crossed the room to Alex's bedside after locking the door. "Your friend is far better off than you, just a sore neck." |
Kyle shrugged, rubbing his neck. He watched Saori leave the room. He didn't want to keep "playing along", though it seemed to be the only way so far. He stood up sighing and running a hand through his white hair. Red eyes blinked as he thought of where the younger girl might be. She didn't seem like someone who would work for the Harvester, but he could never judge a book by its cover. He shook his head, walking over to his bed and lying down.

Alex wasn't expecting anyone to bother her for awhile. She figured they would give her time to lick her wounds, so to speak. When she heard her door open, she felt like a caged animal ready to be taken to the slaughter. Her first thought was that they remembered that they didn't administer the drug and had come to do so. The woman, Saori, was the one to come in though. She didn't trust her completely, but preferred her over Lilly, or the Harvester himself.
She scoffed at Saori's comment. "Tch, yeah, like me letting Lilly knock me out and let you people do whatever you want to me is on the top of my list of things to do." She slightly covered her ribs, wincing at the pain coursing through her body. She looked at Saori questioningly, "So Kyle is really alright?" |
