"Hey it's not my fault she got to you first." Saori rolled her eyes. "And don't lump me in with all the rest, I'm here for the same reasons you are whatever the hell those are." She motioned for Alex to move her arm out of the way. "Yes he's fine. I got to him before Lilly did so he's just peachy, I just made it look like I drugged him. would have done you a world of good to just go along, serves you right for not listening to me." After a look at the pain on Alex's face she turned and went to the atatched bathroom, returning shortly with a cold wet cloth.

Alex decided to not reply to her first statement. A snide comment was just waiting to roll off of her tounge. "Yeah, but considering Lilly did get to me first, it was best for me to attack back. I'd rather be in pain without those drugs pumping through my veins, then drugged up to oblivion. It is kinda hard to listen to someone who is not caged up like us. Who is to say that you're just being nice to trick us." She slowly did as requested, moving her arm to her side. She decided that if Saori was going to double cross her, she might as well let her do it. There was nothing else she could do, so if she could help heal her and continue to not be drugged this was her best bet.
With a defeated sigh she looked at Saori, once she returned, "I know you didn't come her just to tell me I told you so. So, what is the plan?" |
"I thought you would never ask." Saori spoke as she kneeled down and put a gentle pressure on Alex's ribs. "They are just bruised nothing broken so they should feel just peachy in a few days. Keep this on your side and I'll come back later to refresh it for you." She stood back up and began to move a few things Alex would probably need closer to the bed as she began to explain. "I'm not going to fill you in on all the details yet, since our course of action depends on a few things and might change on us. First things first, I will be incharge of sedating you each day, obviously unless I know one of the doctors is going to examine you I won't be doing so. Next you need to let your ribs heal, if you had just let Lilly drug you then we could have gotten out of here by tomorrow, but now it will have to wait a few days. The sooner we get out of here the better so don't do anything that will aggravate your ribs. Got it?"

The young girl shudder slightly at the Harvester's touch. Although she knew that Lilly would more than anything enjoy it, she on the other hand, would beg to differ. She nodded as the Harvester had appeared to see that she wasn't as hungry as she was supposed to be, and promised as treat later.
"Thank you, Sir." She curtsied again and dismissed herself from the dining room and walked down the hallway en route to her room, as well as the rooms where the two captured people were kept. The hallway was dark and slightly creepy, similar to the Harvester himself. Fayte leaned around the corner to the hallway of the two rooms. She peered over the edge and saw that there weren't any guards guarding the rooms. The Harvester probably trusted that Saori would be enough to subdue them since their powers were weakened by the drugs. She slowly slipped into the hallway and heard voices coming from the room further away and made out one of the voices to be Saori and the other to be the girl that was captured. "So what is the plan?" Are they plotting something? Aren't we doing the same? The voice in her head snickered at her own smart comment. Fayte pressed her ear to the room that was closest to her and only silence replied her. She turned knob and slipped into the room. Whoever took care of this young man should really learn about locking doors... |
Kyle rose up, hearing the door open. It was the girl from earlier. What was her name? He shook his head, staring at her. He didn't say anything, but wondered about her motive. What did she want? He waited for her to speak, eying her warily.

Fayte swiveled around as she her ruffling from the bed sheets. The young man with the white hair seemed to be very conscious, as opposed from lying on somewhere motionless. She quickly rushed to his side and took his hand.
"Are you alright?" Her eyes were wide with concern as she held his hand. |
Kyle's eyes trailed to Fayte as she held his hand. "Yeah, I'm fine." His eyes softened, seeing her own concerned ones. "I'm fine, just a sore neck is all." He felt guilty that he didn't completely trust her. Then again she could have been just another puppet. He closed his eyes for a moment, supressing those thoughts before opening his eyes again.

With a half grimace, and half grin, Alex nodded at Saori's request. She trusted Saori for now. Either way, she was goint to have to. Saori was the one on the outside, and was able to help them. She nodded again, "Fine, I'll try to not hurt it."
She mutedly watched Saori move items closer to where she was sitting. "She really is pretty nice, under all that gruff demeanor," she mused to herself. "So they are going to keep us sedated, eh? I guess after that last fiasco they wouldn't dare keep us with the ability to use our powers." She looked at Saori, her lips pursed with grim determination,"Is there anything else I could do to help with this? I, also, was wondering, once we do escape, where would we go from there? Even if we do make it, won't he just come back and try to capture us again? With Lilly around, we won't stand a chance." |

The child was slightly relieved that he wasn't too hurt. She felt guilty that things had ended up this way. Although it was her mission to go capture him, she found him to be a rather interesting person, hence she felt that he shouldn't have to succumb to the Harvester. Fayte watched as he made a difficult face and open his eyes again at her. She was slightly confused, but she paid no mind to it. "Oh right! I have something to give you..." She trailed off and reached into her sleeve and took out the necklace that she had 'received' from the scientists. The golden orb glowed brightly. "This should allow you to use your powers in places that restrict you from doing so, but I'm not sure if it'll still work if you're sedated. Hopefully it'll help you with your escape, if that is what you plan to do." |
Kyle nodded. He had a slighty smile on his face, knowing that Fayte wasn't completely on "their" side. He looked at the necklace in the girl's hand, admiring the golden orb inside. He took it, clasping it in his hand. "Thank you. I'll try to use it once the drug wears out." It felt weird lying to her since she seemed to be nice, nicer than everyone else.

Linden's eyes fell upon the people moving about. Her mouth curled into a devious looking smile as her eyes glistened in the fading sunlight "umm" she whispered "hello?" she let out feint sigh

With that Saori left the room closing the door behind herself and went to the door of Kyle's room and opened it. "Why hello Fayte." She half smiled. Why is she here?! She could ruin this whole thing if she tells the Harvester, I must think of a plan to remove her quickly, or maybe I can use her trust of me to make this plan move more smoothly. I'd hate to use her like this but I will not let anyone stand in the way of my freedom. Her thoughts raced and she took a slow breath in making it subtle so it would go unnoticed and calmed her mind. "Dear don't you have you dinner that needs to be finished? You'll stay short forever if you don't eat properly." Saori smiled warmly. "I need to administer the rest of medicine to this young man so I need you to leave for a while, you can come see him later okay?"
In the Lab the Harvester confronted the head scientist his anger threating in boil over. "This shall never happen again! I want their abilities removed from them and their useless lives destroyed! Every single one of them! You have two days to put my plan into motion or I will have your head on a platter! Do I make myself clear?! I will have no more set backs or fuck ups or excuses! It will be done in two days or I will remove every last one of you bothersome idiots!" The doctor nodded quickly fear filling his eyes then half ran off to give the orders to the rest of his scientific team. Little did the Harvester know that Lilly was sitting in the medical room just down the hall with the door wide open as the doctor had gone to fetch more bandages for her wounds. ((I hope that was a big enough opening for you Bell, I seriously want to see what happens next. Things are getting really good!!)) |
linden continued to watch the chaotic mess of the happenings before her, her grin seemed to grow as her eyes glinted in the sunlight. Soon enough it seemed that only one cloud hung over her head and soon enough parted to have rain pour all around her "okay either they're evil or just misunderstood" she blinked a few more times and shrugged walking towards the building, her hands began to shake as the rain cleared almost instantaneously

Kyle saw Saori come into the room, hiding the necklace behind his back. What was she doing back here? Did Fayte know that Saori was planning to rescue him and Alex or vice versa? It didn't seem like it which would essentially complicate things more. He kept a straight face, tapping his free hand softly on the bed. He noticed that Saori treated Fayte rather like a younger sister, or maybe a child. Was this an act? Probably considering how she acted towards him and Alex.

Lilly was in shock. She had no idea as to who this man was that looked like Sir. She'd never heard such foul filth come from his sweet lips before. This couldn't possibly be the man she knew and adored. A thousand thoughts raced through her mind, and she really did not understand what was going on. "Kill Kyle and Alex?" She understood they were their captives, but they were going to join their side. .right? She didn't know what to think, currently her mind though of the past days she spent with the man she came to think of as her father. He was always a kind and gentle man, completely devoted to her and her powers. She never saw him raise his voice unless need be, and she always saw his kindness show through even when he disciplined others.
She sat to ponder these thoughts as the doctor walked back in to tend to her wounds. Her pale eyes shone dully, expressing the confusion she felt in her heart. "I. .I don't understand. Sir wouldn't kill anyone. Nor would he even consider tossing away human lives just for their powers. Like useless dolls once they were old and worn." This was almost too much for her to bear. Everything that she saw as reality was shattered by only a few words by the one she loved the most. The doctor before her, quietly tended to her wound as she mused in her thoughts. Lilly suddenly shook her head, surprising the doctor as she stood up. "No, I won't believe it!" she spoke fervently. "I won't believe it at all. It must just be all a mistake." Before the doctor could even reply, or react to her sudden outburst, she quickly teleported out of the infirmary. "I need to be alone, to sort this out." She wasn't really sure where she wanted to go, her room was out of the question, and the entire building just seemed stifling. With blood still seeping into her partial bandages, she found her way to the outer building. What surprised her the most was that there was a person there, with her ear slightly pressed to the wall. With this person breaking her demanded solitude, she practically growled out, "Who are you?" Alex could only nod as Saori spoke of the plan for them to escape. It truly looked like Saori was really wanting to help them escape. She was beginning to trust this woman completely, feeling like a kindred spirits of sorts. They were both stuck into this situation, and the best way to escape the terrible powress of the Harvester was to join forces. Saori was right, though, Lilly was going to be the definite kink in any of their plans. There wasn't any way that any of their powers, let alone combined, could be a match for Lilly's teleportation. She could literally be anywhere at any time. If they were going to completely escape that man's grasp they would have to do something to prevent Lilly's interference, permanently. Alex decided that she was going to do what Saori asked, and would give it her all to help her successfully implement the plan. Once the winged woman left her room, she gratefully grabbed the blanket and wrapped her shivering body around it. Her acrobat outfit really wasn't cutting it. With one hand, she attempted to finger out her hair into a more manageable appearance. She may be a captive, but she was a woman first and foremost. |

(this is a double post but someone filled me in! sorry guys!!! i feel really stupid now!)
Linden's eyes fell upon the old stone building, amazement filled them what the heck is this? thoughts raced through her head, her attention was yanked from the building to a passing butterfly, she jumped and leapt after it. Soon enough she ran into the side of the building, screaming in pain she held her nose as blood poured freely from it shouldnt there be guards here? her hollering ceased after three minutes of this |
Fayte jumped slightly as the door opened to reveal Saori. The small child watched a look that appeared on the older girl's face for a split second and dispersed almost immediately after. She could sense that something was up, but she couldn't exactly put a finger on what. She listened to Saori telling her to return to her dinner and that she needed to administer the sedative to the young man.
"I'm not hungry anymore..." The young girl whined like the child she was. She was afraid that the man would get hurt if Saori were to really administer him the drugs. She's lying... The voice in her head murmured thoughtfully. Fayte remembered seeing the young man be sedated in the dining room by Saori herself, so why would she need to do it again after such a short period? Did she have some other ulterior motives ordered by the Harvester? "And Saori...did you forget that you've already given him drugs? I'm pretty we would've gone bye-bye by now if he weren't drugged." The last thing she needed was for someone to complicate the young man's getaway, if it were anytime soon. |
"Fayte dear, don't be difficult." Saori spoke. "I only administered half a dose of the sedative, he's still dangerous my dear but not lethal and you shouldn't be in here." Saori spoke her voice as forced calm as she could make it, it sounded almost natural. "How about I take you down to the kitchen once I'm finished here and I get you a nice big ice cream okay?" Saori walked over to Fayte and put her arm around her, stearing her towards the door with some force. "Now just wait in the hall while I do this and I will be right out okay?" Saori tried to make her smile look as natural as possible. It was proving rather difficult for her to lie through her teeth to Fayte.

Fayte frowned as she knew that Saori was still continuing to lie to her. On the other hand though, she knew that if she protested any more, things would most likely get complicated. The child pouted and reluctantly left the beside from the young man. She walked herself to the door and moved herself to the outside hallway.
Hopefully he'll be alright... The fact that the Saori girl is lying doesn't really help things either. |
Kyle felt reluctant about Fayte leaving and Saori coming back as she already had a plan to get him out. He gripped the necklace tightly, watching as Fayte walked out. This was going to be hard. He wondered to himself how the two plans would cross with each other. The time frames might be different and in the worse case scenario they would end up happening at the same time. He looked at Saori's neutral smile with a blank face, wondering how well she was holding up with lying.

The moment the door closed behind Fayte Saori gave a huge sigh."I think lying to her was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life." She looked up at Kyle and smiled. "Okay so you are going to pretend you are drugged and I shall move you into the next room with your friend okay? And as soon as her ribs are healed out plan shall commence, she will fill you in with what I have already told her once you get there." With that Saori picked Kyle and heaved him over her shoulder before giving him a chance to protest. Soari walked out the door of the room taking a momwnt to stop and speak to Fayte. "If you must visit him I'll come with you later okay? Give it about an hour." Without waiting for her reply she entered Alex's room and after closing the door behind herself set Kyle on his feet. "Well have fun and behave yourselves I'll be back later most likely with Fayte in tow. I'll bring something for you to eat as well. Good bye for now." Saori left the room making sure to lock the door behind herself.

Kyle sighed, nodding. "Alright, alright." He felt himself being lifted, almost spazzing out if it weren't for the fact that she could probably drug him still. "What is it with people and picking me up?" He muttered under his breath. He sighed, feeling a bit of grief for having to lie to both of them. How did he get himself into this? He felt himself being set down on his feet again, brushing himself off. "After that, I think I've lost my appetite."
