Laughing too, Fynn reached out a hand to accept his book from Leane. "Oh no, not happening!" He wacked the book gently against Leane's butt, grinning cheerfully as he pushed her ahead of him towards the door. "Practice makes perfect - so you had better do it all the time, from now on."

He was pointedly not answering her question on what had been going on with her mind, and Fynn made it his mission to get Leane right in front of the door before she could ask more about it.

Coming late into the classroom was something that made his chest squeeze uncomfortably, even through his current love-driven high, and Fynn wasn't about to enter the classroom first. Still, his hand closed back around Leane's as they were standing there, and he gave Leane a pleading look. "You take the lead?"

Capturing his lips one last time, Leane grinned as she lead him into the classroom and to the open desk, knowing that all eyes were on them. Not caring one whit, Leane gave a small wave before sitting in the chair. A nearby Slytherin, and a friend of Josh's, quickly muttered what page they were on and Leane immediately turned to that page. Professor McGonagal, arms crossed, strode over to the couple and looked down upon them over the brim of her glasses.

"Well?"

"Yes Professor?" Leane said sweetly with a smile.

"Where have you two been for the last fifteen minutes?"

"Forgive us, Professor, but Fynn and I had been studying recently, trying to help each other improve and such. And I couldn't find my book after our last study session so I had Fynn help me look for it."

"You found it, I trust? This isn't a borrowed one?"

"Yes, Professor, after searching everywhere we found it in the room we were studying in last."

"Very well. Five points from each house for tardiness. You have a free period next I trust? You will spend the first half hour with me going over what you missed and working on an extra lesson as punishment. Is that understood?"

"Yes Professor."

Though Fynn hadn't acted quite as relaxed as Leane had, it wasn't exactly like he'd walked into the classroom while hiding behind Leane's back. No waving occured, and his face was completely devoid of emotion - but everything in his demeanor seemed to suggest that coming late into class was the most normal thing in the world to do.

Of course he'd had Leane do the talking - and after nodding in agreement to whatever it was SHE was saying, and later, to whatever the professor was saying.... he let out a sigh of relief and slumped back into his chair a bit, before tapping one of the Gryffindors in front of him on the shoulder with the request to borrow a quill and some parchment.

Once he'd acquired those, the prefect turned lightly to his prefect-partner-in-crime and whispered, "I suck at being bad."

Leane laughed as her hand tenderly caressed his thigh as she leaned in close, "Yes, you really do. But that's why we're so perfect for crime! I can talk us out of it, they'll believe anything you agree to because you're so innocently perfect," Leane added with a wink before turning back to the Professor, who had continued on with her lesson, and pretended to pay attention, her thoughts still preoccupied from thinking about summer and the morning she had just spent with Fynn.

The grin he'd given Leane in reply to her words was rather lopsided, but as class continued, Fynn immediatly started taking notes - figuring he'd have to go over everything with Leane at a later date, anyway - and, for about 10 minutes, was wholly preoccupied with reading about all they had missed, and noting down the Professors new information.

Only then was he relaxed enough to let his eyes roam over the pupils' heads, searching for one particular head that was - quite possibly - planning to jinx him later. The black-haired head paired with the blonde one wasn't too hard to find, and Fynn narrowed his eyes lightly as he looked in Josh & Kalli's general direction - hoping Josh wouldn't blow a gasket after class.

When class was finished, Kalli gave a reassuring smile to Leane and Fynn on her way out with Drew, who simply laughed and shook his head lightly. Josh took his time passing them. Setting his books on their table, Josh looked down into Leane's eyes, "Lee, promise me you didn't.."

"Didn't what?"

"Have sex.."

"I can't promise something that is false.."

"God damn it Leane!" Josh said curiously before hauling off and punching Fynn in the jaw.

"Joshua Phillips!" Leane hissed as she pointed her wand under Josh's chin, "That's enough! McGonagal will be back from her office in a few moments. Now get your ass out of this classroom before you regret it."

"No."

"Josh, I mean it!"

"Leane, he could get you pregnant! Are you not even concerned with the possibility of you being pregnant now at sixteen?"

"Don't you worry about that with Kalli?"

"I have enough common sense to use protection. Did he?"

"I... don't know.." Leane admitted with a deep blush, "Josh, please... Just go.."

"You better start believing that I have the best intentions when it comes to your sister, Josh," Fynn grunted as he glared up at the other boy, rubbing his cheek and forcing himself to not just kick Josh's ass in return. Instead, he put a hand on Leane's wand-arm, slowly putting pressure on it to get her to lower her arm.

"Do you honestly think that I'd want anything holding her back? Seriously?" The laugh Fynn uttered was humourless, and even someone with the emotional range of a teaspoon could feel the underlying hurt in it. "You must think I'm some kind of pig."

"I know the hurt you put my sister through time and time again. So yes, to put it bluntly, I think thinks is some scheme of yours to put her in a horrible situation and play with her emotions, only to leave her stranded and alone. I've been with her through all of the bullshit you put her through, so don't you dare lecture me on what I should and shouldn't believe, Fynn MacMillan," Josh spat at Fynn bitterly before grabbing his books and stalking off to retrieve the books for his next class.

Leane sighed as she put her wand back where she kept it and turned towards Fynn, reaching out to caress his jaw where Josh had punched it. "Fynn.. I'm so sorry.. Is your jaw alright?"

"I'll live," was the boys' simple reply, his eyes still narrowed as he looked at Leane. Though this time, it was narrowed with concern for her. "Are you okay?"

Offering a small smile, Leane nodded as she wrapped her arms around his waist, hiding her face into his arm as she spoke, "I'm alright dearest, don't worry about me."

A soft smile came on his lips, and Fynn was just about to hug her back, his mouth open to say something- when Professor McGonagal returned into her classroom. "So you two were studying, hm?" She questioned the couple sourly - prompting Fynn to immediatly create an inch more distance between him and Leane - though his hand remained lightly on her upper arm.

"The school rules don't say anything about students fraternizing," he offered with a blank face, hoping the professor wouldn't make an issue out of it.

For a moment, Professor McGonogal eyed the two, before saying tartly, "True, Mr. MacMillan, but refraining from such actions in my classroom IS a requirement." With a light flick of her wand, Fynn was pushed back a two feet, while Leane, too, was pushed back two-three feet. "Now focus - and you had better not be late for my class again!"

"Forgive us, Professor, it was my fault," Leane said softly as she looked down at her book, "It will not happen again, I assure you."

"Be sure that it doesn't, Ms. Supton," was Professor McGonagal's final word on the matter before reviewing that they had missed in class.

When the lesson was finished, Leane picked up her things and began walking down the hall aimlessly, no real direction to her footsteps. Sighing, Leane leaned back against the stone wall of a side hallway, trying to collect her thoughts and calm her emotions.

In truth she was indeed alright; Leane was simply overwhelmed and her thoughts were all a muck from all that had happened that morning.

Slender arms wrapped tenderly around her waist, and Fynn nuzzled into her neck before softly asking, "Knut for your thoughts?" His book was resting lightly against Lee's thigh, as he simply held it in his hand.

His cheek was slowly starting to swell - Fynn could feel it tingling underneath his upper skin - but he wasn't intending on saying anything about it. Josh's hitting him had certainly made his blood boil... but acting on it would be a seriously BAD thing to do.

Leane smiled as she leaned into Fynn, wrapping her arms around his waist as she buried her face into his chest. "It's nothing, Fynn, honest. I'm just worn out from everything that's happened this morning. I want to kill that bloody brother of mine for punching you as he did. He had no right to.. I know the punch was meant for me, but he cannot hit me - he never could and he never would. Therefore, he punched you in my stead. And I'm so sorry he said what he did Fynn," Leane added softly, "Please do not be too angry with him..."

"Josh, what's wrong?" Drew asked as he cornered him in the hallway, Kalli already gone off to class.

Josh simply tried to push past him as he made his way to the free period in the Great Hall.

Putting his arm out and shoving him back into the wall, Drew held him there and stared down into his eyes, "What did you do."

"I punched him. They slept together. Without protection."

"Do you know this for a fact? They're not stupid, Josh. I'm sure they use-"

"NO! They didn't. Leane had no clue, and I honestly think she doesn't know. She's never had sex before, she doesn't know the difference. He knows the difference. It's his job to know. He didn't have an answer that he would give. It confirms it."

"Josh..."

"Drew, please... Not right now.. I know I need to apologize for punching him and apologize to Leane.. I just.. Right now my mind's a wreck and I just can't do it..."

With that, Josh pushed past Drew with a sigh and hurried off to join Kalli in the Great Hall.

Drew, on the other hand, made sure he had his cellphone in his pocket. After confirming that he did, Drew too headed to the Great Hall, deciding to call Saiyuri the moment his homework was done to talk to her about this.

"The only thing I'm mad at," Fynn said after a while, hugging Lee more tightly and trying to caress the stress out of her body by letting his hands roam her back, "is that he has the nerve to think I wouldn't have taken care of you. That he even considered the fact that I wouldn't use protection."

His black hair swayed lightly from side to side as he shook his head. "I'll get him for the punch some other time - but, compared to his words, that was nothing."

"This is Josh, dearest, he assumes the worst just as much as I do.. We cannot help it, our minds simply drift that way.. He didn't truly stop and think.. I'm sure once he's calmed down and Kalli's hand a chance to reel him in, he'll be just fine and apologize for what happened," Leane said softly as she melted into his arms and held him tight, "I think.. I think deep down he knows the truth.. Just.. Given our history.. He.. He doesn't want to realize that you've changed, you know?"

Leane's boyfriend sighed lightly as he hid his face in her hair for a moment, wincing as he accidentally rubbed his jaw too hard against her head. "But that's just the thing," Fynn tried to explain, tilting his head away from hers again and just holding her tightly, "I haven't changed. I was never that horribly bad guy - we just didn't understand eachother. I was a jealous asshole; not some kind of demon out to hurt you."

Smiling, Leane tenderly caressed his cheek as she looked up into his eyes, "Fynn, I didn't mean you changed as a person. I meant you changed your views and temper towards me, as I have with you, because we both finally realize each others' feelings towards one another.

"Josh doesn't understand that what we've done to each other over the years, wasn't acted out of spite, but out of rejected anger and out of pure jealousy. He can't understand that that was how we tried to express our seemingly unrequited love.

"This is all just hard for him to take in and he's having a hard time adjusting. He's loathed you for so long.. He cannot accept and love you in just a moment's time. He's going to lash out as he has today and every other time you two are together, and he's going to continue to assume the worst and mistake our words for quite some time, I'm afraid," Leane concluded with a sigh before placing a long, slow, tender kiss upon Fynn's lips.

With his hand lightly placed in her neck, Fynn kept Leane's lips on his for a while longer, returning the tender kiss with just as much genuine affection as she was giving him. As they broke away, he brushed her cheek lightly, before creating some more physical distance between them. "Trust me, I know, Lee," Fynn gave a crooked smiled, the right side of his mouth rising up in a light display of humour. "A Bat-Bogey hex is so tempting when he's acting that way."

"I know I'm just going to have to take it as it happens, and show patience, but..." The boys' fingers weaved through Leane's, caressing her palm with his thumb. "...it doesn't make sitting with you guys during lunch any more inviting. Actually, it isn't inviting at all."

Fynn grinned lightly as he took Leane's book out of her hand and held it underneath his arm with his own book, getting ready to head off to the Hall for half-a-study-period. "The only really good thing about it is that I can spend time with you - luckily, you're highly persuasive."

Leane smiled as she leaned in and placed light, fluttery kisses upon his swelling jaw, being careful not to hurt him before making her way down to his neck. "Don't forget breakfast and dinner, too," Leane whispered between tender kisses upon his neck, her tongue caressing his shaven skin with each kiss, "I'm glad you think I'm persuasive, my love. I would hate very much if you stopped spending so much time with me on account of Josh."

A pleasurable shudder travelled down Fynn's spine, and he let out a content sigh as he pulled her closer to him again, allowing his hands to roam over her back and slide down her hips as she kissed him. "Who said anything about spending less time with you...?"

The young mans' eyelids closed as he fully relaxed underneath Leane's fluttery caresses. "I'd just kidnap you and take you with me."

"Promise?" One hand upon Fynn's shoulder, the other clutching his black hair, Leane smiled as she continued to kiss his neck. "I think I like that idea very much, my dearest Fynn." His name came out with a sweet caress to it's tone, causing Leane to only smile more as she rested against him. Her fingertips digging into his skin, Leane continued between kisses, "It's umm, too bad, that you hate kidnapping me. I'm feeling quite willing to be held prisoner and kept from class for just a bit longer.

Helpfully, Fynn arched his neck back, allowing Leane easier access, but also letting his head rest more in her hand. As he spoke, his tone was light-hearted and dreamy, simply enjoying the moment. "I promise."

His fingertipes slipped underneath the hem of her blouse, sliding up and intimately tracing her spine with his fingers - caressing the gentle inward curve of her back, and pushing their chests closer together. "Saturday. Saturday, you're all mine."

"I'm definitely looking more forward to tomorrow, then," Leane said with a warm smile as she lingered and let her kisses become a tad longer and more teasing. After a few kisses, however, Leane stopped kissing his neck. Leaning back for just a moment, Leane had a small frown set upon her lips as she inquired, "Will I have to study as punishment to make up for us missing class so much this week?"

In reply, his eyes opened and he gave a small, meaningful grin. "My hostage, my rules."
