When he finally did, he wrapped his arms tightly around Leane, picked her up, and gave a loud kiss on her lips. "So Cinderella did decide to run!" A cheerful undertone was in his voice, and he held her up a tad longer - keeping her pressed against him - before setting her down again. "And to Arithmancy even; such a strange notion."

"Strange?" Anna tilted her head like a curious kitten, blinking a couple of times, "Do you mean how they were before... or do you mean now?"

The mild commotion outside the classroom door distracted the slender brunette for a moment, and as she turned around in her seat, she caught the sight of black-pink-blue hair. "Ah. Incoming."

Leane laughed as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips, "Mmm, but I knew if I ran to class, Prince Charming was sure to follow eventually."

"The way they were before," Drew cleared up before glancing at Josh and shaking his head slightly.

Josh rolled his eyes and continued to scowl in his seat as he slid farther down.

"It's a wonder that boy manages to unfreeze his face and keep from falling out of that chair," Kalli hissed loudly at Josh before looking away from him with a "Hmph!"

"No way was I going to run again, after earlier," he grinned, burrying his nose in her hair before letting go of her fully.

The imagery Kalli was giving Anna - very much the one of an angry wife shunning her husband - caused the young Gryffindor to snigger lightly underneath her breathe.

Getting an idea, though, she gave a momentary conspiratory wink before getting up from her seat and heading towards the door.

"Hey guys-!"

Fynn was startled by the sudden enthusiastic tone, not to mention the presence of his fellow Gryffie. "Anna? What're you doing here?"

Grinning impishly, the brunette wrapped her arms together on the small of her back, and leaned forward. "I was bored, so I thought I'd come to where the action is. Why don't you sit with me this hour, Fynn? Let Lee spend some time with her sulking brother."

Leane laughed as she ruffled Anna's hair before peaking over her shoulder, "He still being fussy?"

Looking up at Fynn, Leane placed a long tender kisses upon his lips before whispering in his ear, "I'll be fine, don't worry. And if you're tired from all the energy you've used today? I think we're going to have to spend more time studying muggle love-rituals and build up that stamina of yours," Leane added before nibbling his earlobe and flashing him a wink before hurrying off to sit beside her brother.

Giving a warm smile at Kalli and Drew, Leane waved.

The two waved with a smile before looking at each other with faces stating, 'This is not going to go well.'

Turning to her brother, Leane put her books on the table and rested her elbow upon the pile. Putting her cheekbone against her closed fist, Leane looked at Josh with a teasing smirk upon her lips.

"Your face is going to freeze that way. Josrin, couldn't you get him to crack just a tiny smile while I was gone?" Leane asked with a wink to the boy across from her.

"Sorry Lee, I tried everything! Even dancing on the table. Didn't get a chuckle," Josrin laughed with a wink before going back to his conversation.

"Hmm.. Well, if his dancing didn't do the trick, just what are we going to do Mr. Phillips?"

"Did she just ruffle my hair?"

Fynn grinned lightly as he watched Anna's go from emberrassed surprise, to emberrassed joy. "Yes. She did." He patted the suddenly shy Belgian girl on her back lightly, leaving his hand there to push her in. Underneath his breath, his eyes on Josh and Leane as he walked to empty set of tables behind Drew and Kalli, he muttered, "Thanks."

Still lightly blushing, but a dazzling smile on her face, Anna nodded in silence - accepting the gratitude, and dismissing it just as easily.

"I'm not accusing you, because I know you'd have more sense than that, but just assure us once and for all that it was safe?" Drew whispered as he turned to look at Fynn, nothing but concern in his features.

"And we're sorry. We didn't mean to outcast you.. It's just, you're taking Lee away from us and I don't like it," Kalli added with a small blush as she looked at him.

"What's your problem," Josh said solemnly as he glared at his sister.

"I don't have one. I'm perfectly euphoric right now and cannot be any happier, despite the fact that you punched my fiancee and accused us of not being safe," Leane retorted back, the smile never leaving her lips.

"I see you've taken a liking to Anna?"

"Not particularly, but she's growing on me. And right now? I'm too happy to be a bitch."

"Now there's a first."

"And here's another first. You're going to apologize to my fiancee and get your act together. I love you, Joshua Philips, but I will not keep tolerating this."

"I don't approve."

"You don't have to. But it's my life and I love him. Nothing is going to change that so you might as well just accept it."

"Don't marry him Lee..."

"I'm going to. There's nothing that can stop me. Play nice and quit punching him."

"Lee.."

"Don't 'Lee..' me, Josh," Leane said with a smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his cheek and linked their fingers together, "You're still my favorite guy, Josh. But Fynn has a place high up too and he always will."

"I don't want to share."

"You sound like you're two."

"Well, you're my sister."

"And you're my brother. Do you see me acting like this towards Kalli?"

A bit startled by this sudden interest - even before he'd properly sat down - Fynn didn't really know what to say at first... but as he sat down, putting his messenger bag next to his seat, he gave a warm, reassuring smile to both of them.

"Look, you guys," he whispered in return, "I don't blame you. The only thing I might be a bit bugged about is that you don't seem to realize that, as much as I hurt Leane in the past... is just as much as she hurt me." Fynn's eyes drifted to the empty space in between Kalli and Drew, just in time to see Lee and Drew hold hands - and the smile on his face turned from being reassuring, to being relieved.

"Lee and I... we're pretty bad at not loving eachother." He grinned, keeping his voice low but sitting a tad more relaxed in his seat then he'd done before. "But we were just as bad at showing our love. I'm ready to get you guys to accept me; I know it won't be easy, but," this with his usual calm, serious expression directed at Kalli, "I wouldn't dream of taking Lee away from you. I'm not saying we should be friends... that'll probably be too much to ask for. Just minor acceptance would be nice, in the end."

He sighed lightly as he now adressed Drew, hating to talk about such a private matter, but knowing that it was essential for them to know. "I know we're rushing into things... first getting engaged, then this morning..." He had the decency to blush lightly, but it didn't really defuse the seriousness of his expression. "But we aren't rushing into THAT. I can swear that we were safe."

"Well, you're not exempt from our initiation, or whatever you would like to call it," Kalli said with a laugh, ignoring the talk of Leane's sex-life, "We'll all meet up at midnight tomorrow night after Hogsmeade, alright?" With that, she turned back around and waited for class to start.

"Thank you, for telling me. I just need to know for sure before I start trying to calm Josh down without a right to. I mean, if you think Josh's temper is terrible? If her Father found out she was engaged and pregnant all in the same year... You wouldn't live, Fynn," Drew said bluntly with a sigh before turning back and taking out parchment for notes.

"That's not the same."

"Is so."

"Is not."

"Is so."

"Is not."

"Josh!"

"Leane!"

Kissing his cheek, Leane whispered in his ear, "Stop it. I'm right so deal. Your baby sister is growing up, so you're just going to have to deal with it."

Placing a tender kiss by her ear, Josh whispered back, "Just because I deal with it, doesn't mean I'm going to like it.. Lee, you've always been mine. I'm not ready to give you up just yet. He's going to have to prove he's worthy of you."

"Don't give him too hard of a time, alright?" Leane said as she pulled him to her for a hug, "I love you."

"I love you too Lee," Josh said with a sigh, warmth in his tone despite his glare at Fynn.

"Wouldn't blame him," muttered Fynn underneath his breath, taking out his own things... and putting them in the center of the joined tables so that Anna had something to look at, too.

The younger member of the Gryffindor house, though, was far too eager in trying to hear what was going on between the siblings that she really didn't even notice.

Noticing this - and luckily, not noticing the glare - Fynn gave a helpless smile, shook his head, and got ready to focus on class.

"Now, can we stop fighting and be civil?" Leane asked with a grin as she wrapped her arm around his waist and snuggled close to his frame.

Wrapping his arm around her, almost protectively, Josh nodded, "Alright. But I'm not going easy on him. And he has to pass a test in order to be accepted by the group, just like Anna did. Deal?"

"Very well, if that's the only way to get you to be civil, I'll talk to him about it and let you know during Astronomy tonight."

And with that, the professor entered the room and class had begun.

"...and as homework, 10 inch of parchment on the Agrippan method and Agrippa himself. Class dismissed."

Anna stared blankly at the space in front of her, mouth slightly slack as she rested her chin in her hand. Only when Professor Vector had walked out of the door near his teaching platform, did she exclaim loudly, "I AM NEVER TAKING THIS CLASS."

With a light chuckle, Fynn noted down some ideas on his approach to his paper on Agrippa, before rolling up his parchment and starting to fill up his messenger bag again. "Found it boring, did you?" The brunette next to him groaned loudly, before stretching her arms out while resting her face on the desk. It caused her voice to be muffled, but her tone was loud enough to hear what she was saying. "I'd rather listen to Liam read to me from the telephone book. I could spazz out about his accent AND steal glances at him - it's double win, compared to this class!"

Drew laughed as he and Kalli picked up their things and Kalli agreed, "I know how you feel Anna! I've always hated this class. At least you're still free of it for awhile longer yet!"

Leane smiled as she kissed Josh's cheek before packing up their things.

"What was that for?"

"For being my brother."

"You're so weird."

"Yes, but you adore me enough to give Fynn a chance, and that deserves a kiss."

"You're a loony, you know that right?"

Leane only laughed before grabbing her things and heading over to Fynn's desk. Hopping up on it, Leane grinned up at Fynn with a teasing smirk, "Are you happy now that we sat through Arithmancy?"

Josh simply shook his head before holding his hand out for Kalli's hand heading out of the classroom.

"Elated," Fynn smiled up at Leane, and waited until Josh had passed fully before resting his head in Leane's lap, nuzzling her thighs gently as his arms rested around her waist. "Though I'm considereably more happy about the fact that you and your brother are doing okay."

"How come you both are so close, by the way?" Anna lifted her head up from the desk, and turned it lightly so that she could make eye-contact with Leane. "I know there's such a thing as a sibling bond, but he's about as protective of you as he is of Kalli. It's endearing at one end, but creepy on the other. So what gives?"

Running her fingers tenderly through Fynn's hair with one hand, Leane looked at Anna with curious expression, "What do you mean? We've always been like this.. It's not so uncommon, is it?" Propping her feet upon on Fynn's thighs, Leane's fingertips lightly twirled some of Fynn's hair, "I mean, is it really that strange? No one's ever said anything.."

"I think it's strange," Anna smiled lightly as she lifted her shoulder. "I'm not saying that I don't get why Josh opposes Fynn, because I do get it. It's just..."

The young Belgian girl tilted her head lightly as she thought over her words, weighing the pro's and cons of telling what she thought, and attempting to rationalize the things that she considered odd about the siblings' bond.
As she did so, Fynn turned his head lightly to look at Anna, curious about what she was going to say, and relishing Leane's touch in his hair.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, BUT. Most siblings don't kiss eachother on the cheek all that often, most siblings aren't overly protective of eachother - they are somewhat, but not to such an extent - and don't have as much trouble in letting eachother go. I'm sure it's enhanced due to Fynn being the spawn of the devil and whatnot, but I also think that its' enhanced because you guys got so serious so soon. I'm guessing Josh wasn't so bend out of shape when you were dating Liam?"
During the entire explanation, Anna had refrained from breathing; and it was clear by her slightly fearful expression that she was worried about getting on Leane's bad side again. Now that she was done, she inhaled sharply, and held her breath as she looked from Fynn, to Leane, to Drew - awaiting reactions.

Drew shook his head slightly, as if to say 'Anna, you've really done it now...'

Picking up his things, Drew simply sighed as he headed out of the classroom, not daring to get into the middle of this discussion. He knew the depth of Leane and Josh's bond, he didn't need to be in the middle of Anna's curiosity with it.

Leane scowled at Anna as she spat, "Just what are you suggesting! That Josh and I are romantically inclined! You're really messed up, you know that? Josh and I aren't like that. You know nothing about us. Just because it seems weird to you, doesn't mean it's weird to us. If you want a better understanding of us, think of us like twins. There's a lot more that went on between us than you know, Anastasia Van Orsenhoven, and you don't need to know any of it. It's not your business to understand us. If you don't like how we are, then too bad," Leane finished before slipping out of Fynn's embrace and hopping down from the desk. Taking her books, Leane stalked off out of the classroom, knowing Fynn would catch up at some point.

It was Anna who caught up with her first - and Leane was made to notice her presence by getting a book thrown against her back. "I'm NOT the one saying you guys are romantically inclined, YOU ARE. So stop being such a bitch already! Why the hell are you attacking me at EVERY thing I say?! "

Though the brunette CLEARLY wanted to say more, a hand was clamped over her mouth, and as Anna tried to struggle against it, Fynn just held unto her head more tightly and silenced her completely. "Anna, Lee's right - it's none of your business. Healthy curiosity is a good quality, but don't push it." His tone was stern and chiding, but not petulant, and Fynn kept his eyes on Leane to anticipate what she would do now... if it came to a magic duel, he had no choice but to protect one of the younger members in his house, but he wasn't looking forward to doing so.

Anna, in the meantime, continued to glare at Leane, but tears had formed in her eyes and were now beginning to streak down her cheeks as she kept her heated glare on Leane's face.

It wasn't long until Leane turned a wand on Anna. Shoving it under her chin, Leane calmly looked down into Anna's face, "You know damn well what you implied, Anastasia, don't you dare try and state otherwise. And I will silence you if I have to, Anna.

"Your curiosity is a bother. You're far too nosy for your own good. Ever since you came here all you've been is a nuisance to each and every one of us. The only two people in this school who can stand you and your ways are Liam and Saiyuri, and Lord only know how the hell they put up with you.

"Don't stick your nose into other people's business, especially not mine. Is that clear? If you keep trying to imply things such as this, and if you keep causing torment and fighting amongst my friends and my family, you will surely regret it. Is that understood Anastasia?" Leane inquired, emphasizing it as she dug the wand into her neck below her chin.

There was much Anna wanted to say - amongst which was the question of why people could stand LEANE at all - but with tearfilled eyes, she just lightly put her hand against Leane's wand, and pushed it out of the way, before turning around so she could escape Fynns grip.

"Do not assume that you know me in any way, Leane." Her voice was almost dangerously soft, and she just calmly looked at Leane without making even an attempt to draw her own wand - or even do anything, really, then just standing there. "So do not assume that you knew what I was implying. I was simply curious about how you and Josh had gotten to be so close - showing interest, since that is what people usually do when they wish to know someone. I see that with you I do not have to bother, though."

Without bothering to look at either Fynn - who was just standing silently, not unsurprised by Leane's reaction, but a bit stunned at her coldness - or Leane, Anna moved to walk past Leane, simply passing her by on her way out of this suddenly suffocating hallway.

Putting her wand away, Leane turned her gaze to Fynn as her voice softened along with her expression, "Chide me if you wish, tell me I should apologize, I don't care anymore. This was the final straw. I'm tired of being accused of wrong doing - whether it's being called a pathological liar, or now being called incestuous and a cheater.

"My relationship with Josh is not unordinary. I cannot see it as such. She has no right at all to call it such and she has no right inquiring into my business like that. If she calls that getting to know someone and showing interest, then she is surely mistaken. It is being nosy and prying into our past, and she has no right to," Leane finished as a tear rolled down her cheek. Turning on her heel, Leane headed down a nearby side passage and simply continued to walk, Vanora scurrying along beside her before jumping up onto her shoulder and licking at her cheek, removing the tears.

"Leane-!" Fynn hurried after her, not bothering about Anna, and came just in time to see Vanora on Lee's shoulder.

"Lee..." His arms came around her in a tight hold, and as he rested his chin on her other shoulder, he softly whispered in her ear that it was alright. "Lee, c'mon, don't walk away from me. I didn't even say anything yet - and I wasn't going to say that."

Stopping, Leane leaned back into Fynn, her nose gently nuzzling his cheek as she whispered, "I'm sorry.. I don't know why I was so cruel to her.. I just.. I wanted to hurt her.. I wanted to make her suffer... I didn't mean half of it, I really didn't.. I just.. I.. I'm sorry Fynn..." Leane finished in a whisper as she rested her forehead against his temple, "Please don't be angry with me.."

"I'm not angry," he whispered gently, giving Vanora a light pet in gratitude as his eyes locked firmly with Leane's. "I just think you read more into it then she meant. Like you, I think she's overbearing, and a lot of what she asks isn't any of her business alright... "

Fynn's hand came up to softly brush against Leane's cheek, erasing the remaining tears there, and he gently kissed her on the lips before returning to their previous pose. "Why did you want to hurt her in the first place...?" The question was non-judging, and the tone of Fynn's whisper, along with his gently smiling face and concerned eyes, all supported the fact that Fynn was in no way angry with Leane, or judged her behaviour.

"Because she has hurt me so much - accused me of so many things.. Everyone always sticks up for her, makes me apologize, never tells her to shove off and stop interfering with our past. I wanted to get through to her and have her see how it feels to be hurt. I didn't mean to say everything so cruelly.. It just.. It came out that way.. But the worst part is? I don't regret it. I don't regret saying it because nothing I said was wrong, other than nobody liking her. That was just my opinion, but you know what I mean..

Vanora, while Leane spoke, hopped across Fynn's arm to his opposite shoulder and started nibbling on his ear a couple of times before hissing and pointing to Leane with her nose as if to say, 'Make her stop crying already!'.

It was fairly hard to ignore Vanora as she was hissing in his ear, but rather then pay active attention to her, Fynn automatically tried to do what Vanora desired of him. Making gentle shushing noises, Fynn's hands came up to cup her face as he kissed her forehead softly. "Lee... It's alright that you don't regret it."

"She needs to learn that her curiosity is a hassle; that it's annoying. If it helps, you probably hurt her as much and as often as she hurt you." His voice was soft and serious as he held unto Leane's gaze, not breaking eye-contact for even an instant. "You did a bad thing by lashing out and jumping to conclusions, but you didn't do the wrong thing. I do know what you mean - and not regretting it is just proof that you said what you felt. So why are you so sad now, love?"
