Yukina looked at him."alright then.How about you tell me some of the things you like",she said looking over him."i-f you want to talk about that is"

Now she was worried about him.She knew he wasnt himself at all.Witch worried her.What if a coven came in and tryed to attack him?Well if they did she would keep him safe.Somehow.

He adjusted his position so that he was more comfortable for him, odd positions just made it harder for him to get up. He reached his hands behind his head and rested them there so he could feel a bit better.

"It's nothing really," he said. "I don't share things much anyways."

Yukina looked at him and sighed."right ..."he still dosnt trust me ...she thought to hersef."well for me ...i like to star gaze when i can ... and i love to do art and recently...i like being around you",she said blushing lightly.

"your a good person and a awsome fighter.More so then you seem to relize...a-and ied do anything for you",she said in asheepish voice."i dont know what you go threw as a vampire but i would like to know so i can help you more offten ... even thogh you may not want it"she said and looked down at the floor.

"Star gazing?" He questioned, breezing over the thought that she enjoyed being with him. He expected that almost because a lot of people 'enjoyed being with him.' Trusting them was a different story. He was fickle and only looked to a select few, one of them being Alec.

"I have some business to take care of next week," he said, though it was lie, he needed to get away. "It shouldn't take me that long."

Yukina sighed."right",she said getting up."have a good night",she said trying not to look at him.And went into her room.Shutting the door she wiped away some tears in her eyes.She couldnt do it any more.She coulnt tll him how she felt and get nothing in return.She layed onto the bed curled into a ball an fell asleep.

Damien had already left to go do his business. There was something he needed to get done and he'd left Alec behind again, who was more than willing to stay with her because it meant that there was actually something for him to do. He was adjusting the seatbelt in a car he'd rented from the auto dealer just outside of town since he didn't want to waste the energy on actually traveling there by foot. It was a good three hour drive that he would have to make.

Meanwhile Alec arrived at the apartment. He wasn't sure if Damien told Yukina that he would be coming but he had a feeling there had been some tension between the two before he had left. Alec knew that Damien cared about Yukina but he also knew that Damien was incapable of showing is feelings towards another person in a proper manner. "Yukina," Alec called as he entered. "I don't know if Damien told you I'm coming but I'm here."

Yukina poked her hed out from the kitchen."oh yah ... he told be",she said in a sad voice as she continued on her breakfest.For the last few days she had absolutely no emotion.Her face stayed the same look all the time , she diddnt even crack a smile."just make your self at home ... you can do whatever you like",she said as she plased her omlet on a plate and sat at the kitchen table.She sat there pokeing at it,sighing she tossed it in the fridge with all her other foodshe had set aside.

Yukina went into her room to get her clothse.She felt terible.She was better off not tellig Damien how she felt at all.Or better yet she was better of just dieing the night when the vamire attacked her.Anything at this point was better then feeling so ... so ...empty.

"Stop moping around," Alec said nochalantly. "Besides Damien adores you, he just doesn't know how to tell you."

He sat down on the couch now looking around at the things that now surrounded him. He was hoping that Damien wouldn't be gone to long, but knowing Damien he probably would get there and come straight back. He hated being away from something he loved, and he was like that when he had pets, despite the fact that pets were considered servants at times.

Meanwhile Damien was driving down the highway, going as fast as he could without making a scene. The further he got away from that city the worse he felt. He didn't even want to deal with this business. He didn't want to visit the coven and explain to them what he was doing with a half-demon. He growled slightly as he concentrated on moving forward. If he needed to call her, he had his cell phone.

Yukina came out and looked at him."i want to beleave that with all my heart i really do but ... after theses past few days im not even sure anymore",she said going into the bathroom.

She took her shower and go out."he did tell i had work todayright",she said as she fixed up her uniform."i'll be back a litle after night fall",she said grabing her jacket and unbrella just in case.Then headed out the door.

She walked down the street icnoreing pritty much any coment givven to her.She sighed as she enterd the caffee and began her running around ageain.

Alec just shrugged slightly. He never really got details when he was supposed to watch someone. He was lucky he had brought a book along with him. He was amusing himself at the point with one of the older readings. He was reading Milton at the moment, wanting to get through Paradise Lost to fully understand what it was talking about. Paradise, what a confusing concept.

Meanwhile Damien fumbled with his phone. He glanced at it as he drove and decided against calling her. He knew that she was working and he didn't know how long he would be here. He'd call her on the way back. He needed to tell her how he felt but he wasn't sure how to do that. He had never been felt this before. It was new to him and it scared him.

Yukina spent the intire day working her but off but in no time it was time for her to go home.Sighing she headed out the door.She was exsasted.Her head was spinning.But luckily she didnt have far to go.

She walked down the street icnoreing more of the coments.She stoped at the cross road and leaned agenst the street light.The day had went terible.She idnt get to sit down once.It might have helped if she had eatedn something in the past few days but she didnt soshe deserved it.

As she waited for the light to change a drunk group of propbr walked by.One of them bumed into her and made her stumbel into the street.Lucky she hoped back onto the side wal and evoied the car going by.

Damien was stuck with his business deal at the moment and it was making him incredibly ansty. He couldn't leave at the moment and there was really nothing he could do. He waited though, waited and wondered if he would get a call from Alec producing bad news.

Alec had sensed something was wrong when she didn't return. He tensed slightly and then called Teresa. She was free so she came by, stopping by Yukina's work place on the way back.

Teresa had managed to catch up to Yukina before she when she had been knocked over slightly. She could see her lack of energy and rushed to her. "When's last time you ate?" Teresa scolded. "You know if Damien knew about this he'd be worried sick."

Yukina looked at her."uh ... probely a few night ago..",she said softly and blinked seeing the light change.She sighed and walked across the street."i'll warm up some food whn i get home",she said and continued onward.

She looked at her."so did you here anything from Damien yet?",she asked looking at her.

"There's been no news from Damien that I know of but we should get you back. He should probably be calling anytime soon if I know his character right," Teresa said. "And then I need to disappear because if Damien knows I was here he would get concerned and then... ugh you don't even want to know how annoying he can get."

Meanwhile Damien's business was done. It had taken too long and now he was stressed and wanted to get back and vent to Alec. He always vented to him, but most of all he missed her. It was like he physically hurt because she wasn't with him. If he had realized this would have happened he would have dragged her along whether she wanted to come or not. He looked at his phone wondering if he should call her or not, maybe she was sleeping... but then maybe she wasn't.

Yukina smiled at her coment she couldnt help it."well its just right there",she said waling up the steps and into her building.It didnt take her long to get to her room."anyone call?"<she asked heading into the kitchen.She had abunch of food to choose from so she pickedthe rice and putting it on a small plate she stuck it in the microwave.

She then leaved agenst the counter as she waited.

Once Damien had reached his car he let the phone begin dialing the number for Yukina's apartment. He'd forced her to put a phone in every room before he had left and made sure there was a phone number for it.

"Not yet..." Alec responded. He had barely spoken when the phone rang. He picked it up.

"It's for you Yukina," Alec responded dryly, still reading his book. "It's Damien."

Yukina felt her heart skip a beat as she went and took the phone."h-hey Damien",she said in what ever enthusiastic voice she had left after the long day at work.She took the phone into the kitchen.She was blushing lightly.It was good to here his voice ageain."how was the drive?",she asked trying to think of something to say to him.

"It was tedious," he admitted. He was pulling out onto the highway again but he didn't feel like spending in silence this time. Someone to talk to felt like the best way to pass the time.

"I miss you..." he said sheepishly. "Are you safe? Is Alec there? Did work go okay? Were there any strangers? Did anyone hurt you?"

He didn't realize what he was doing at the moment. He just wanted to get her talking and he wanted to know how she was doing. He hadn't seen her take a bite of any of the food she'd eaten and that had concerned him a lot. Humans needed food and she wasn't eating hers.

Yukina had blushed darkly.But smiled."i miss you to ... yes im safe and Alec is sitting on the couch reading.Work was tiering i think i sat down for about 10 seconds then i was running around ageain.And there were some turest there but other then that it was the usual customers.And noe one hert me.Although a grop of drunk people bumed into me..thats pritty much it",she said and sat at the table.

"so ... how are you?",she asked watching the clok on the microwave.

Damien flinched slightly in the car when he heard about the group of drunk people. He wanted to hunt them down and he had to remind himself that she was all right before he started questioning her again. Her question stopped him though and he tried to think of a decent answer. Maybe it was about time he started telling the truth, but it was hard.

"I am... not to great," he admitted. "I'm sick of having to deal with this business but I know I wouldn't be able to pay for things if I didn't do this. Next time I swear I'm bringing you along..."

He didn't add on what he wanted to say. He didn't want to bring her along just for the companionship. He wanted to be sure she was safe and the only way to do that was to be with her. Wasn't he dangerous to her though? It was beginning to get too confusing for him to handle now.

Yukina blinked but smiled slightly."im sorry ... and why would you want to bring me with you?",she asked getting up to get the rice out of the micro wave."wouldnt that cause you more problems the i already have?",she asked settin the food on the table.

She was happy talking to him like this ageain.His voice was conferting and she liked hearinf it."im sorry i didnt see you off thismorning",she said a bit sadly."and for the way ive been acting ... i probably put more stress on you "

He didn't answer his question but let out a slight sigh. He couldn't tell her now. What if she just got up and left? After all he was a vampire and he killed things, he'd killed more things than he could count. He shifted in his seat again, pressing the gas pedal down harder and now going faster than he did on the way to the buisness proposal.

"It's fine," he said quietly. "I should be home in about two hours though and I don't want to listen to silence."

Yukina smiled."ill gladly stayon and talk wit you.",she said smileing."concidering i like talking to you.....",she smiled slightly hereing the car exselerate."you are driveing ......somewhat carfully right?",she asked and took a bite of rice."and it sounded like there was more....if there is i would like to here it....it would keep up a converstaion and you wouldnt have to drive in silence"
