"Well first of all, your ears are adorable and second of all you took me in even though you had no idea what I was," he said, a faint glimmer of a smile.

Yukina felt a blush come across her face."yah well....you were ther first person , who was ever so nice to me befour.And i had a feeling you were difernt but ...its strange i felt and i still do feel ...like i can trust you.",she said smileing up at him.

"Don't trust me," he said after a moment. "It's not exactly safe for you to do that." He'd whipped around after that and started towards the door again. He went had a human speed so that if she really wanted to she could stop him.

Yukina felt a chill a fear come over and she ran infront of him."please damien .... i... i dont know how to act around a vampire but, i promose i'll try not to make it hard on you...",a sad look came in her eyes."but please dont go....",she said looking at the floor.

"Fine," Damien said with a light sigh. He lifted her chin with one of his fingers and looked at her eyes for a moment. He stepped forward after that and pulled her into a hug.

Yukina ,at first didnt know how to react.But she huged him back slightly.Scarde that he might get freaked out a bit.

"I just have to warn you though," he said after a moment. "I have a few enemies that might come knocking and if they do I'll have to leave because I don't want you getting hurt. I'll know if they're near by."

He'd adjusted so that he could hug her more easily and in this awkward state of affairs he wasn't sure if he could do much else. He knew that the afternoon was growing into night time and with night time he would be a bit calmer since the sun would not come out.

Yukina sighed but nodded."a-alright...just as you promise y-you'll come back,if its at all posible",she said trying not to look at him.she knew he whould leave if he had to.And she wouldnt try to stop him if he did.

"I'll try to come back," he said with a smile. "And I'll call you. You know i have a nifty cell phone don't you?" He'd went into the bathroom then and pulled it out of the pants pockets and showed it to her.

Yukina looked at him and smiled."alrigth",she said hapily. Yukina looked outside."hey , later on do you wnat to go walk around town?, she asked."or is that too dagerous for you?",she said with slight concern in her voice.

"Depends," he said with a smirk. "I would have to say that we shouldn't do it while it;'s sunny out. It could result in a few consequences." He wouldn't tell her at the moment since it would be a lot easier to sho her what he meant. He smiled though.

Yukina blinked but smiled. "i dont mean in the day time....i mean at night:,she looked at him."is it true vampires die from sunlight?",she asked with curiosity.

"No," he said with a light laugh. "Thre are a lot of things that aren't true that you'd think are true." He'd gone over to the open window after that and shut it so that the water didn't get in the house.

Yukina blinked and smiled slight."okay what else is there thats not true about vampires?",she asked sitting on the couch looking at him.

"take a guess," he said with a smile.

Yukina looked at him. :crosses?...stakesthrew the heart ?.....garlic?"

"Nope, nope, and nope," he said with a grin. "Silly things actually. One of the first vampires I met wore a cross necklace around his neck." He smoothed his hair slightly, the arrogance he had beginning to show a bit.

Yukina laughed slightly."wow tahst good to knwo ",she said with a smile

"And I definitely do not sleep in coffins," he said with another laugh. "It's foolish of them to think something like that. I don't ven sleep."

Yukina blinked and looked at him."so when i came in you wernt really sleeping?"

"Nope," he said with a grin. "it was mostly to convince you I wasn't a monster. I hate being a vampire." He let out a sighed after a moment and just smiled. It was easy to say that but he could never truly admit what he really hated about being a vampire.

Yukina smiled at him slightly."well you were varry convinceing and even if you are a vampire ,i dont think that your a monster",she truely didnt think he was one.

"If I am a vampire," he questioned. He was wondering why her judgement was so poor. He'd just run up a few flights of stairs and hadn't even broken a sweat or been out of breath at all. He shook his head slightly and laughed to himself. "If I am a vampire."

Yukina blinked. "okay even though you are a vampire i dont think of you as a monsters"

"Oh but what if I made the entire story up?" he asked, though he hadn't, he was just teasing her at the moment and seeing if she would fall into this little trap. He needed to know if she could handle his enemies if they came searching for him. It would not be fun to get in a fight with them at this point and he wasn't sure if he was strong enough to fight them.
