A new school, a new start, or so the now seventeen year old Veris Iselsi hoped. He just wanted to forget everything...to just move on. Sighing softly to himself he looked up at the large private boys school, Crimson Lady. Such a odd name for a all male school.
His parents had shipped him off here to get rid of him finally, not that any of his sisters had been sent to private schools away from home, not even his younger brother. But he had. He'd spend the next two years living, sleeping, and studying here. Worst of all the school year had already begun and he was 2 years into the school curriculum. The school had a reputation for raising proper bright boys, but he had also heard it had its fair share of partying.

He shifted his small duffel bag in his hand. He wouldn't admit it but he was scared, what if he couldn't make any friends here? Would have have to spend the two years alone? Maybe that be easier...he'd never seen these people again after he graduated really anyway. Biting his lower lip Veris felt a soft drip of moister on his cheek and looked up.
"Rain?" He asked himself softly as the sky started to pour down on him.

Swearing he ran under the grand stone arch that opened to the school main building. His white shirt was soaked already and he was freezing, the rain had soaked straight down to his bones. "Freak storm." He hissed as he tried to shake some of the water off. Tugging at the sticking white button down he stepped into the building out of the rain hoping to find the main building to check in and find his rooming assignment. Not seeing any particular signs and unsure where to go he saw two students by a water fountain talking.

"Excuse me." He asked softly as he came up behind the tall red headed boy. "Could you point me to the Main office please?"

Seijre turned at the quiet voice behind him, wondering what a new student was doing coming to campus at this time of day, but when he saw the blue haired boy behind him, he lost track of all thoughts entirely. He was mesmerized by the pale skin, the slender frame, the deep blue eyes. He had never seen anyone so beautiful, and he was completely at a loss for words.

Fortunately for Seijre, his companion was not caught so completely off guard. "A new student, eh?" the green haired boy said, leisurely flipping the hair that hung over his face to one side, although it merely flopped right back over his left eye. "We can take you to the office if you like. It's probably easier then trying to give you directions from here, right Sei?"

Seijre finally tore his eyes away from the slender body underneath the soaked white shirt as his friend addressed him. "What? Oh, yeah, of course." He smiled at the boy before him, still somewhat in awe of the boys' good looks. Juno did not seem to have noticed, although he did give Seijre a funny look as he also smiled at the new boy. The two walked over to the door Veris had come in. "Oh...it's raining" Seijre said, noticing the torrential downpour outside.

"Is that all the luggage you have?" Juno asked, ignoring Seijre's comment. He started to push open the door, but the paused. "Oh yeah, you're not a fan of rain are you Sei..." Seijre rolled his eyes at his friend. "By the way, I'm Juno and this is Seijre. This is our first year here too, although we've already figured out the layout of campus." He gave Veris a small smirk. "I think we've found at least ten secret tunnels already." He turned away from the door, letting it swing shut. "We can get to the office from here without going outside, since Sei hates getting rained on."

"That's so flattering Juno..." Seijre complained, then he looked at Veris. "So what is your name?" he asked, feeling small butterflies in his stomach for some reason. This new boy sure did have an odd effect on him!

"Veris." He replied softly, unsure of the two students already. The red head was staring at him like he was a hunk of prime meat. "And yes this is all I have, I don't need much to study since the school supplies us with so much."

He pushed pass Juno and opened the door. "Theres no need for you to bother, I can find it myself. Rain doesn't bother me so please don't trouble yourselves." He stepped out into the down pour, choosing being wet was preferred then to staying with those students. They seemed like trouble makers and that was the last thing he wanted or needed right now.

"Thank you for pointing out the way, excuse me."

Juno followed him out into the rain, and after a moment's hesitation, so did Seijre. "Hey, don't be so cold. You'll never make any friends that way." Juno said. "Anyway, we haven't pointed out the way at all..." He grabbed Veris' arm, adding "In fact, you're going the wrong way."

Seijre winced as the first raindrops hit him, but then seemed to resign himself to his fate of getting wet. "Where are you from?" he asked Veris, curious about this boy and his mysterious power to make him feel so strange. Juno rolled his eyes again.

"Geeze Sei, leave the inquisition till the poor guy had a chance to get settled in." He lightly turned Veris in the right direction and began steering him along a tree lined path. "Don't worry, this place really isn't that bad" he told the blue haired boy. Seijre followed along behind the two feeling somewhat slighted. Oh well, he'd just have to talk to Veris another time...

When first grabbed Verises blue eyes fell to the hand that gripped his upper arm. As he started to speak he was quickly cut off by the others students incessant questions. Given in he let the green haired boy street him twords the trees, the foliage blocking some measure of the rain.

It surprised him a little that the other student hadn't let go of him, though maybe he was afraid he'd try to find it on his own again. He walked completely silently, eyes scanning everything around him to commit it to memory for later. He had been so focussed that when a loud crack of loud sounded his body flinched at the sudden sound.

Stopping in his tracks Veris looked up at the nearly black sky. "...does it rain like this here often?" He asked after a moment, face upturned into the rain. "I wasn't expecting it to be so violent up in these mountains like this."

Seijre looked up from picking his way across the driest patches of ground under the trees. "We get a good storm every once in a while, but this is the worst one I've seen since I came to school..." He squinted balefully up at the dark clouds. "And of course it choses to dump buckets on the night a new student arrives." Juno laughed at his friend's unhappy tone of voice.

"Seijre hates rain, in case you hadn't picked up on that yet," he said to Veris. "I really don't quite get it, but I usually respect his wishes and stay out of it. That's why we have found so many secret passages, because he was so unhappy about going out in the rain all the time. I'm actually the one who found them for the most part, since he was too busy freaking out about the storms"

Seijre sighed as Juno spoke. Did his green haired friend have to make him sound like such a loser in front of the new boy? He noted that Juno had yet to let go of Veris' arm, and felt a twinge of jealous resentment. Juno sure was acting odd ever since the new boy showed up.

"A little water never hurt anyone." However this was more then a little rain, Verises clothes were completely soaked through at this point, he'd have to change once he got his room and he was going to leave a massive puddle in the office. "I rather enjoy the rain, too bad its not a bit warmer today." He closed his eyes and basked for a moment in the cool water as it fell around and on him, as though he was letting it wash away all his thoughts. In the distance the thunder rumbled as a storm came ever closer.

Continuing down the path the trio entered a smaller building that made up the main office. Speaking to the secretary Veris was given a packet with his information and a dirty look for all the water they were tracking in.

Looking at his papers Veris held one hand to his chin.
"The terrestrial hall? What a strange naming convention." He muttered aloud to himself as he looked at the two other housing halls of Solar and Lunar. He the founder had a thing for astronomy?

"I don't suppose you could tell me how to get there?" he ask to the soggy couple that he had left by the door. He already seemed inclined to stay with them a bit longer. "I'm on the 3rd floor it seems. Room 311."

Seijre started when he heard where Veris was going to be living. They would be in the same room! He was delighted at the turn of events, as he really wanted to learn more about this pale boy. As an added bonus, he would finally have a good room mate instead of the looming dread that someone horrible might get assigned to his room.

Juno smiled broadly as Veris announced his room number. "Lucky you! You're looking at your new room mates. Guess it was a good thing you met up with us out there, eh?" He pulled the office door open, gesturing for Seijre and Veris to go out ahead of him. "There's one other guy in there too, a little shrimp of a dude named Alethro. He's kind of annoying actually..."

"He's not that bad..." Seijre said. "He has his good points too." Although Seijre agreed that Alethro could be annoying, he thought it was rather impolite of Juno to badmouth him before Veris even had a chance to meet him.

"Trade you..." Juno muttered as he followed the other two out of the office. "Then we'll see if you're still so nice to the shrimp..." He obviously was not very fond of his other room mate.

"Accepted." Veris said simply. At the boys surprised looks he glanced over his should back to them. "To your terms I mean. I'll switch rooms with you and stay with Alethro. It makes little to no difference to me in which room I stay, if it makes the atmosphere easier to switch then I'm fine with it."

Hoisting up his bag again he shook some water off it, glad he had packed it into a water proof bag. So this was his luck...he was stuck with the annoying red head and the mouthy green haired one. Maybe this Alethro would be more tolerable, he most certainly couldn't be worse then staying with..what was his name? Seijre?

His stomach soured for some reason, like that was some strange dread sneaking up on him. He was already starting to wish he had never switched schools.

Juno brightened visibly at Veris' words. "Really? You mean it? Are you sure you don't want to meet him before you decide?" he asked, the paused. What if Veris realized what a horribly annoying roommate Alethro could be? "On second thought...never mind. I'm moving my stuff into Seijre's room as soon as we get upstairs."

Seijre sighed. So much for getting to know Veris better. At least they would still share a common area. At least Veris didn't have much stuff. Of course, that meant that Alethro's things would soon proceed to encompass even more of the room. Their fourth room mate had a habit of tinkering with things, and his various experiments or items of interest were often left all over the place. Yesterday Seijre had gone into the bathroom and found a broken mechanical dog sitting in the bathtub, soaking in some kind of oil. Well, at least he and Juno got along fine. Juno wouldn't be a bad room mate, and not having to share a room with Alethro would probably put his friend in a much better mood.

Juno took the lead again,a slight spring to his step as he led Seijre and Veris upstairs and through a sky walk connecting their current building with the Terrestrial Hall. "The campus has all kind of walkways connecting the buildings. Apparently whoever built this place disliked the rains as much as Seijre" he commented. "Of course, you still have to go outside most of the time to get from class to class." He led them toward the third floor, humming happily to himself.

Seijre couldn't help but smile at how happy Juno already seemed to be at the prospect of switching rooms. Maybe they should have just done this earlier, although that would have confused any new student assigned to the room...Veris did not seem all that pleased to be here though. Maybe he was having second thoughts about saying he would switch now that he saw how delighted Juno was with the arrangement.

Entering the apartment key a swipe key the were greeting into a small living room that connected into a kitchen with a hall way leading down to the two bed rooms and a shared bathroom between the two. The first thing to greet them was what seemed to smell like burning rubber.

Verises nose twitched as he stepped in, a younger boy laying on his stomach on the livin room watching a small toy car spin its wheels at incredible speeds, the walls were also covered in tire marks.
"I presume your Alethro."

At being spoken to the boys head snapped up. "Oh hi! Wow...you guys are soaked! why go do something silly like that." The sandy haired boy sat up and turned the tiny car off. He had to be a freshman with how small he was, in fact the boy almost looked like a small furry animal like a hamster in a few ways, he was most certainly as twitchy as one. "Are you Seis new roommate?"

"Incorrect. I'm yours. Juno and I will be switching rooms." Veris folded his arms over his chest now understanding what Juno had meant.

"What awww Juno why you moving out? Don't you like me anymore?" The boy whined as he fiddled with his car between his hands.

Juno gave Alethro a small look of disgust, not even deigning to answer as he went into one of the two small back bedrooms. He reappeared a moment latter with his arms laden. "Sei can you open our door?" he asked, as his hand were too full to manage the knob.

"Alright" Seijre said, stepping around Alethro, who was still fiddling with his toy car on the floor. Pulling the door open, Seijre stepped aside to allow Juno inside and looked back at Veris, who was noting the tire tracks all over the walls. "Alethro, you will be cleaning up those tire tracks, right?" Seijre asked, a small hint of annoyance in his voice.

"You're darn right he will" Juno said reappearing with another load of things from his old room on the way to Seijre's room. "I sure as blood am not!"

Alethro sulked on the floor since he had just driven off his roommate it seems. "I was gonna clean it when I was done..." He started softly. He toyed with the worn tires of the car not looking up sheepishly.

"You used hyper coiling." Veris said suddenly as he looked at the tread marks. "Thats how you got such even pressure to the way...and this residue looks like some kind of glue.." Veris looked down at the boy. "Your working on something that holds firmly but when applied with a certain heat of friction releases? Hence the car can climb the walls?"

Alethros eyes went wide as he looked up. "Thats right! Your the first person to have gotten it so far! But the only problem I'm having is that the friction is still to much on the mortar and makes that burning smell...not to mention how obvious the residue is! I'm not even sure if it will come off the walls." Delighted with the prospect of having someone to really talk to in the house Alethro stood. "Nice to meet you roomie." He offered out a sticky black hand that veris hesitantly took.

"I'm Veris. And I suggest you try vinegar when you clean, it should break down the proteans enough to clean it off."

"Hm..I'll have to open a window then, but its worth a try! Y'know you guys are soaked you should take a shower before you catch a cold!"

And it was true there was healthy water trail of Juno and veris was standing in a puddle himself.
"I suppose I should shower before I unpack, that will give Juno more time to transfer his things as well...does the bathroom have only one shower?" With Alethros nod Veris looked to Seijre. "Do you mind if I shower?"

Seijre was surprised that Veris was asking him for permission, but he smiled. "Go ahead" he said, walking into his room to grab some dry clothes. At the very least he was going to change out of his wet clothing before Veris grabbed the shower. Actually...he'd probably rinse off really fast. He would be done by the time Veris walked in...probably...

Juno nearly slipped in his water trail as he carried another load. Perhaps he ought to at least wring himself out a bit...Veris had just gone into his old room to set his one duffel bag down, so Juno settled for wringing his shirt out on Alethro instead of Alethro's bed.

"Gahhh juno >o<!"

Setting his duffel bag down on the empty dresser he looked down at the stare of his clothes, he'd just leave them to hang in the bathroom rather then in here. Looking around half the room was a mess of wires and other metal bits. Veris shook his head a little, he should keep his laptop hidden from Alethro.
Stepping into the bathroom Veris was surprised to find how warm it was already in there. Had Althero showered not long ago? There was a dull sound of water dripping from the closed shower curtain but Veris paid it no mind.
Unbuttoning the buttons of his shirt with numb hands veris sighed as he turned to wring the shirt out into the sink. Setting it over his towle bar he pulled his hair free from the water heavy twisted braid he had it in. It fell well past his back once free and nearly to the floor. Sighing a little he tried to wring it out a little thought with such length it was difficult. Starting to undo his pants he headed towards the shower to pull back the curtain and turn it on to heat up the water.

Seijre stared at Veris as the other boy opened the curtain, a flush spreading across his cheeks. His long red hair was plastered along his body, and he had to peer at Veris through the dripping length of his unruly bangs. Apparently he hadn't been fast enough at rinsing off...the warm water had felt so good that he had forgotten that he was supposed to hurry. "Ah, you got ready faster then I thought you would..." he said, unable to keep his eyes from roaming downward to check out Veris' lithe body. "Sorry, the water just felt so good..." he trailed off, noticing the expression on Veris' face.

Juno saw Veris go into the bathroom and smirked. He went over and rigged the door so that it wouldn't open. Thank you Alethro for breaking the door so it could only be locked from the outside...He had locked the shrimp in there more than once, and even Alethro had not figure out a way out yet. That would keep the new boy in there for a minute while he took the chance to talk to Seijre. "Sei?" he asked, looking into the bedroom for his new room mate. He didn't realize Seijre had gone into the bathroom ahead of Veris. He frowned in confusion as he looked around the room. Had Sei stepped out for something?

Veris had just shown more emotion then he had all day. At first when he had pulled the curtain back it was a startled gasp, he hadn't expected anyone to be there. Then his face flushed as he suddenly turned around, he was both embarrassed and angry.
"You said I could go ahead and shower damn it!"

With his pants clingy wetly to his hips he stormed over to the door to leave. This guy was the worst! He was like some kind of stalker already! Grabbing the door Veris pulled to open it since he hadn't bothered to lock it. When the door didn't give he looked down at it surprised and tried again, jiggling the handle.
"T-the hell?"
It was LOCKED?! But how? The lock tab wasn't pushed in. Trying harder Veris swore. It was locked from the outside. Which only meant that either Alethro or Juno did it and Veris would bet his bottom dollar it was Juno. Know realizing he was trapped he held up his pants with one hand and watched carefully over his shoulder at Seijre.
"Juno!" He yelled through the door. "Juno, Let me out!"

Seijre began wringing out his hair, calling over to Veris. "I'm sorry, I meant to be done by the time you came in! I didn't realize you would be ready to shower so
fast..." He stepped out of the tub, steam rising around him from the heat of the water he had been standing in. The shower was still running as Seijre wrapped a towel around his waist, steam billowing out over the top of the curtain. "I really didn't mean to take so long..." he said, his voice trailing off as he realized how idiotic he must sound. "Way to make a first impression Sei" he chided himself. He suddenly realized what Veris had said. "Wait...we're locked in? But Juno wouldn't...Juno wouldn't lock us in here. He only does that to Alethro." Seijre felt a nagging suspicion growing in the corner of his mind that Juno wasn't very fond of Veris for some reason. But what was not to like? The guy was absolutely gorgeous...

Hearing Veris call his name, Juno grabbed Alethro and pulled him out into the hall, ignoring the smaller boy's protests. "Come on kid, we're going to get something to eat in commemoration of me switching rooms." he said, dragging the hapless boy with him. Maybe he would spot Seijre out here...he'd just dump Alethro off somewhere if he did find Sei. That new boy could just hang out in the bathroom for a bit. He did say he wanted a shower after all.

So he was right it was Juno. And it seems his earlier suspicions of the other was right, he was a trouble maker. A trouble maker that seemed to have it out for him. Of course being locked in here with Seijre seemed like such a set up, had the two planned it? Was Seijre really that creepy or was Juno pranking them both?
Hearing a door shut outside the bathroom Veris sighed and gave up, crossing the bathroom around and away from Seijre to sit on the sink counter, head in hands.

"Great..just great." He muttered. "My first day here and my roommates are already locking me in a bathroom." He laughed bitterly as he kept his head down. It almost looked like he was going to cry...

"Hey, he's not that bad...usually..." Seijre said, taking a tentative step closer to Veris. "I'm sure it's all a misunderstanding or something." He tightened the towel around his waist nervously. Why the heck had Juno locked the two of them in here? He really wasn't sure how to act around Veris. Even the new boy's voice made his stomach butterflies jittery.

Although Seijre was quite popular with the girls, he had never returned their interest, nor had he been interested in anyone at all. However, this pale boy before him sent all kind of confusing signals to his mind. At the moment Veris looked as though he might start crying. Seijre was sorely tempted to offer him a shoulder to cry on, but how would the blue-haired boy react? "I know it's tough moving to a new school" he said finally. "And I'm sure this is not helping your opinion of the place" he added with a nervous laugh. He really had no idea what to say.

The temperature in the room was rising quickly with the scalding water pouring out of the shower head. Steam had already clouded the room between the two boys and Veris sat there quietly a moment.

"...I know your not trying to upset me." He started softly. "But to be honest with you I'm not really looking for a relationship." He had already determined that Seijre had to be 'that' way and he had his questions about Juno as well.
"I'm new here and all I wanted was to settle in, do my studies and get out of here." He laughed softly again. "Looks like I won't even to just be able to do that."

His pale skin was starting to flush from the humid heat. "...I never thought this place was going to be worse then my last school.."

"R...r..relationship?" Seijre stammered, a flush spreading across his face. "I didn't mean...why did you..." He really hadn't thought about that sort of thing at all, and he was completely unsure how to react. Was that what the butterflies meant? Did he like Veris that way? He slid down against the door to sit on the floor, slightly stunned by the revelation. Juno had always teased him for being dense about his feelings and the feelings of those around him. After all, he never spotted a crush until they confessed to him, which happened about once a week. The confessors always left him alone afterwards though. It was almost like someone was frightening them away.

"I'm sorry" he said finally. "I didn't mean to...to make you think that" he blushed again. He peered up at Veris through the fringe of his bangs sheepishly. "I hope we can all get along actually...I know Juno isn't the easiest person to like, but he has his good points too." He didn't notice the flush creeping across Veris' skin from the heat, nor did the heat faze him. In fact, it felt quite good to him. Maybe he should try this sauna effect more often.

So Seijre was just the dense type, he hadn't even realized how he was acting around him.
"He locked us in the bathroom." But thats when Veris realized something. "...well not We. He locked me in here. He probably didn't know you were in here, I hadn't after all."

Sighing Veris pushed some of his long hair back over his shoulder, face flushed. "It's hot in here isn't it?" His eyes were starting to glaze over a bit from the growing heat aand his breath was starting to become labored.

"Oh...you don't think it was an accident?" Seijre asked, although he knew there was no way it could be. Why did Juno dislike Veris so much, even though they just met? "Juno...has been acting very strange today" he admitted. "I really don't know why he would lock you in the bathroom though, that doesn't make any sense. He only locks Alethro in here when he wants the room to himself, and you two are not sharing a room..."

He noticed the flush on Veris' pale face then. "Oh, is it too hot? The shower is still running..." he stood, walking over and opening the curtain to flip the water off. A wall of steam came surging out toward the two boys. As Seijre stopped the water, he glanced at Veris who was on the sink right behind him. "Veris?" he asked, alarm in his voice. "Are you alright?" He grabbed the smaller boy's shoulders as Veris started to slump forward, eyes slightly glazed over. "Veris?"

He was breathing too quickly from the temperature, his body overheating.
"I-its too hot.." His words were starting to slur together. He gripped Seijre's arm to push him away not wanting the others body heat but he only slumped forward against him more in a sudden dizzy spell. Panting against the other boys chest Veris held on to him in fear of the spinning room lurching out from under him suddenly. His body shuddered again as his vision threatend to go black.
"I-i.."
