"That might not be ssuch a bad thing." If people thought he was mute then there was no reason for him to speak and no reason for him to get worked up over the way he spoke.
"Oh..." Aya shook her head. "As long as you wear underwear you'll be fine." She said, casting a quick glance over to the dog, before looking back to the dragon. "Growl at him, or something. Scare him away. He won't come near you." She paused. "Or you could always get someone else to look for it for you. I'm sure Kazuki would be perfect for the job." |
"Yes, but you would be pitied so much, and you couldn't say a thing at all, if you wanted everyone to think you were mute." Shoji said, watching Mikio.
"It's hard to when you can't be that scary at all in your transformed form..I'm actually pretty small when I transform.." Tatsuya said quietly, blushing.He didn't want EVERYONE to know he was so cute. |
Those were both good points. Mikio didn't want to be pitied, he just wanted to be left alone most of the time. Ah well. "I ssupposse your right." He sighed softly.
"Most of us are pretty small when we transform, doesn't mean we all have to be cute little fluff balls." Aya said, letting her hands fall onto her lap now. "I bite people when I'm in my sheep form, and chase after them. That seems to scare them." No one wants an angry sheep chasing them. Of course, there was always the easy option of hanging around Takeshi like quite a few of the smaller and younger guys did. |
"You see?I make a good point sometimes, now don't I?I'm not completely useless." Shoji laughed, smirking at Mikio, then over at Takeshi.
"I mean..I'm extremely cute.Shoji saw me before and he tried to cuddle me because I was so damn cute." Tatsuya sighed, blushing a little."There is nothing less threatening dragon-wise than a tiny, cute chinese dragon.I wish I was more like my father..When he transforms, he's actually threatening." |
Mikio gave a soft hiss as a responce. Shoji wasn't useless, he did have his uses. The snake couldn't think of any off the top of his head, but the cat was pleasant to be around.
Feeling eyes on him, Takeshi looked up from his meal once more and to Shoji. "Your not useless. You have your uses." Aya bit back a smile. A cute, tiny dragon Tatsuya? Now she wanted to see! Cute things were always fun to look at. Or cuddle. Or both. "Perhaps your form will grow as you age? I mean.. dragons live for hundreds of years, don't they? They age slowly." |
Shoji purred at Takeshi and chuckled."Why thank you, Takeshi."
"Maybe..I hope I don't live as long as a real dragon..I think I'd get lonely eventually, since all of you would die off before me.I would problably end up taking my own life." Tatsuya said, sighing."Living forever sounds nice and all, but it also sounds very lonely." |
Takeshi gave a smile, a wag of his tail and returned to his food - which he'd soon finished and gave a nice, deep yawn.
"I don't know if you'd live forever. Its just.. animals have different life spans to humans. Both Takeshi and Kioshi were small human children, yet their animal forms grew rapidly." When they were both six, they were able to carry the others around on their backs when in animal form. Now there was a fond memory. "Living forever does sound rather.. dull. Especially when you go from living with this family to living on your own. It'd be awfully quiet." |
Shoji came up rather close to Takeshi and leaned on him cutely."You want to go sunbathing with me now?"
"Yes..You'd be able to see your own family die, then the next generation grow to be old..Except for that poor little dragon." Takeshi sighed, now a bit depressed."Anyway..Everyone seems to be almost done..Would you like to see my work in progress kimono now?" |
The tiger purred contently and looked down to the other feline. "Mm. Of course. Hopefully this time we won't have people interrupting us."
That was rather depressing. Still, Aya gave a small, soft bleet and looked across the table. Most did seem to be finished now. "I'd love to but.. I have to do the dishes first." She sighed. Cooking food was fun, washing up afterwards wasn't. Especially this many plates, it usually took her the best part of an hour to complete on her own. |
Shoji grinned."Yes, hopefully.Kazuki, would you like to join us again?" he said, turning to look at the little rat boy.
"If you want to have fun Aya-chan, I can do the dishes!" Kichirou said happily, standing up and grabbing all of the empty plates. "...That took care of that excuse of yours not to come and see the beautiful work I've done so far." Tatsuya laughed, standing up slowly. Of course, this meant showing the shortness of his kimono completely, making Takeo faint, Haru blush quite a deep red and Shigeo get a small nosebleed again. |
Kazuki, upon hearing the question, looked to the cat and cocked his head. "I-if you want me there.."
" 'course we want you there." Takeshi said, smiling softly at the small male. Madoka stood up too and started to gather dishes like his brother. "I want to help out too." Aya smiled at the two bunnys and bowed her head to them in thanks. "I'd love to see your work in progress kimono then, Tatsuya-San." Kioshi, upon noticing just how short the kimono was, looked away quickly so as not to get too embarassed and change in the house. Mikio looked at the kimono and tilted his head, unable to believe the dragon was actually wearing something like that. Satoru, on the other hand, was quite blunt. "Why are you wearing a skirt?" |
Shoji stood up and walked towards Takeshi's usual spot."Well, come on you two.Or we'll end up moonbathing." He laughed, walking off."I'll be there in a second..I'm going to change out of my pajamas."
"Alright, follow me then..And Satoru-kun, I always wear skirts..Usually longer ones, though." Tatsuya giggled a bit, walking off to his room. Soon, when the Rooster boy woke up and saw Tatsuya walking off, revealing the cute bow sort of resting on his backside, and how he femininely walked, there was not a boy beside Kioshi..but a dark orangish brown, fierce-looking rooster, resting in Takeo's clothing. |
"Moonbathing? No.. that doesn't sound as much fun." Takeshi stood and along with Kazuki, the two started to head out to the pond and the tigers usual basking spot. Laying down on the rock, the two waited for the return of Shoji.
Aya followed behind Tatsuya and she couldn't help but smile as the others found it difficult to look at the dragon. Taeko had even transformed into his rooster form. Kioshi finally looked around once he was sure the dragon had gone. Seeing Takeo in rooster form, the horse smirked. "Yeah, I kinda feel like that. Lucky I looked away though, hm?" |
Shoji soon returned, this time in a outfit similar to Tatsuya's..A very short kimono that only was long enough to rest gently on his hips, in dark slate blue with white embroidery that resembled flames.It had sort of an odd Obi..Just a giant white ribbon, tied into a huge bow on the back. underneath he wore dark grey short shorts, that were sort of loose on his legs though, unlike Tatsuya's, which hugged his legs quite tightly."I'm back." He smiled, removing his house slippers and his socks and hopping over to a rock very close to Takeshi.
Tatsuya walked into his room and sat down on a crimson cushion he had set in front of a tv, and a short table and he pulled a box of sewing supplies and such out from under it, along with his current project, a kimono resembling the one he was currently wearing, but in black, with half-done embroidery of flames on the sleeves, and a chinese dragon, half done as well, in s ort of a spiral shape on the back."Do you like it?" Takeo soon transformed back, making the remaining girl at the table turn into her form, a cute little tiny female boar, and he sighed, struggling to put his underwear on without having to stand up."Yeah, It's lucky you did, you would have broken that door behind you.." |
Takeshi was soon sprawled out on his back, white kimono on the rock beside him, leaving him in nothing other than a pair of white, loose fitting pants. A toned, pale abdomen was now on show, along with the tiger markings. Hearing the cats voice, the tiger opened his eyes and looked over to the male. Another very short kimono, though it seemed to suit him well. "What is it with guys and short kimono's?" Not that he was complaining.
Aya slowly and a little nervously entered the dragons room. She'd only been in here once or twice, mainly to bring the head of the family fresh tea or a snack. Seeing the kimono though, she approached him and crouched herself down. "I like it. It will look beautiful when its finished. You've done a great job on it." Kishio simply sat there, watching the boar with an amused expression. "Aww, your sooo cute, Hanako." This he said to embarass her even more. "The door and the table." The male smirked, looking back to the now human, naked Takeo. "Y'know, your kinda cute naked. Perhaps you should walk around in your birthday suit more often." "Birthday suit?" Satoru asked, hopping over the table to look at the collection of clothing, trying to find this 'birthday suit'. Not finding it, though, he instead took the males top and bounced off down the table. |
"Not all of the family wears short kimonos, Just me and Tatsuya..We have similar tastes, what can I say?" Shoji giggled."You look wonderful, Takeshi..I don't know why you don't think you look nice..You'd definately make Tatsuya blush up a storm, me and him aren't too different.."
"Thank you..Could you help me find my thimble?I'm thinking it might be hidden under one of my cabinets or something..I'd rather not have to prick my finger again and again." Tatsuya laughed, opening up his sewing kit to see if he had somehow lost his thimble in here.Sure enough, there it is.Little silver thimble, hidden under some scraps of fabric."Oh, nevermind, here it is..I think I might need glasses, that was quite an obvious place." "Hey!Satoru!Give that back!" Takeo said, pulling on his underwear and his shorts and running after Satoru. "Another 'exciting' night.." Haru said, looking over at Mikio and sighing."Why must we always end up like this, I always end up with a headache.." "Noone look!" Hanako said quite frantically as she transformed back, covering her privates with her arms and a book as she rushed to get her and her bra and panties back on."How embarrasing..Right here in fron of half of the men, too.." She mumbled, blushing deep red as she slipped her bubblegum pink kimono back on. |
"Of all the guys in the house, I'd never thought I'd see Tatsuya with similar tastes as you. He usually wears so many layers of baggy clothing. But to see him in a kimono similar to those you wear.. its strange. But not in a bad way." As he spoke he seemed to absently scratch his stomach. "I'm not nice to look at. You and Tatsuya are nice to look at." They took care of their appearance and even went as far as to shave their legs. The tiger simply walked around looking exactly as he did when he woke up.
"Of course." Aya placed her hands on her knee's and looked to the nearest cabinets, hoping to catch a glimpse of silver. But no luck. Tatsuya had more luck, it seemed. He'd found it in his sewing kit. "Thats always the way. You try so hard to look for something that it turns up right under your nose. Perfect hiding place, ne?" "Nu-uh!" The monkey giggled and jumped from the table and managed to grasp hold of the curtain railing. Pulling himself up, he waved the shirt through the air. "Come get it!" Mikio looked over to Haru, the only other one sat at the table acting 'normal'. "Would you rather they act like a normal family?" Sit around talking about their day, the weather and other boring subjects. Then they'd go sit in front of the tv and watch dull programmes. With their family like this, there was never a dull moment. "Itss not too bad.. could be worsse." Kioshi sat and watched the boar change back into Hanako in amusement. "Girls are weird and unlucky." Unlucky as they had two parts to cover up, unlike the males one. ".. though I suppose your lucky too. Shigeo doesn't perve over you, though he has such a glorious oppertunity to do so." |
"He must have gotten tired of being so hot in those clothes..I think he wears short shorts underneath all that, anyway.I caught him once.Or he might just get jealous of how much Shigeo looks at me, but not at him.." Shoji laughed."And you look attractive to me..Your sort of rugged, I like that."
"Yes, It's quite embarrassing, though.I thought I had searched my sewing kit already.." Tatsuya laughed a bit, setting the thimble down on the table."I'm actually surprised I didn't see it in Madoka's clutches.." Takeo grabbed Satoru and gently pulled him down, trying not to pull the curtain rod out of the wall.He pinned the monkey into a corner and glared at the little boy."Give it back.Now." Haru sighed."And now, we will see Takeo on the news..I can see it now, 'Teenage boy from noble family beats his cousin half to death using martial arts to get his shirt back'.How embarrassing." Hanako blushed."I'm glad he doesn't, I transform so often!" She said, quickly getting back to her homework."Err..Mikio, help.You would know this..I'm doing my history homework, and I think I've seen you read a book about this before.." |
"I guess so. He'd have to wear shorts with Shigeo on the prowl." Takeshi rolled onto his side somwhat, laying like any basking tiger would. His tail lay lazily behind him, a hole had been made specially in the back of his pants for it. "I hope it isn't that.. actually wanting attention from a pervert isn't a good idea." The tigers left ear gave a lazy flick. "Rugged? No, lazy." A single teal eye opened and came to rest on the feline, a playful smile now on his lips. "You like it? Well.. whatever floats your boat, I suppose."
Aya smiled softly and shook her head. "Perhaps you did or perhaps you thought it would be a too obvious place to look." Hearing what was said next, she couldn't help but laugh softly. "Your lucky, Madoka doesn't come into your room, Takeshi's told him many times that dragons love eating rabbits." Satoru whined softly as he was caught and started to wriggle right up until he was pinned in the corner. Seeing no way out, the monkey whined again and dropped the t-shirt. "Your no fun!" He shouted and pointed a finger accusingly at him. "Rooster beats up monkey." Kioshi said, snickering at the thought. "Tiger eatss Roosster and ssendss horsse to glue factory." Mikio said, giving a quiet hiss of a laugh at the expression on the horses face. "Ss?" Looking to Hanako, he looked to the book in her hand and he nodded. "Yess, I have read it. What do you need to know?" |
"I like how you look..I know it's just because you don't brush your hair much or anything, but I think you look handsome like that..I don't know why..Ugh, so wrong, I like one of my cousins..Oh well..I heard a rumor from one of the non-zodiac members of the family a long time ago that most of us are barely related, some are, but we're just a bunch of familys that all somehow developed into being one name, even though only few are blood related..And the cat is separate from everyone, due to us not being in the zodiac.Damn rat..In the old folk tale, that is, not our little Kazuki, no, he would never push me into a river in the middle of a race, then cheat to the first place by riding on Haru's back.." Shoji siad, sighing as he let his kimono go down on his shoulders a bit, so his shoulders could warm in the sun.
"Even though I don't.I don't eat anything extremely strange like rabbit." Tatsuya said, raising an eyebrow."Takeshi really needs to stop spreading such odd rumors.." Takeo rolled his eyes and slipped his shirt back on, letting the little monkey go. "I'm lost..I've skimmed the book for the answer to this question, but I just can't find it..I can't remember the exact date that this event happened at, it's driving my little brain insane.." Hanako said, holding her head and looking down at the page cutely. |
With his head rolled to the side, Takeshi watched Shoji and listened to his words carefully. Handsome like he was? He hardly thought so, but he wasn't going to argue with the cat, no, he'd come here to bask not argue. "I guess we each have different preferences." Then he paused and nodded. "We're all really distant cousins, except Kichirou and Madoka, obviously." His tail gave a lazy sway before he spoke again. "Kazuki doesn't have a mean bone in his body.. nor does he have the body strength to push you that hard." The tiger yawnned softly and brought his chin to rest on the back of his left hand. "Shouldn't say things like that, your as much of a member of this family as Tatsuya is."
Aya giggled and shook her head. "He says things like that to keep the others from your room and pestering you. Or would you rather have Madoka and Satoru rummaging through your things?" Mikio was quiet for a moment and just seemed to look at the cover of the book from where he was sat. From the looks of it, he was trying to remember just where she would find that information. "Ss, try the first few pages." |
"I wonder if it would be completely wrong to love you..I mean, we can't have kids anyway, and plus, we ARE quite distant.." Shoji blushed, running his fingers through his own hair, now purring.
"I'd actually rather not be known for doing such cruel things.I don't want everyone to be scared of me for things I don't even do." Tatsuya said, beginning to start on the other half of the embroidery on his new kimono. "Alright, thank you, Mikio-san." Hanako smiled and turned back to her homework. |
Takeshi's ears perked up as he heard what the cat had to say. Completely wrong to love him? It was true though, two males couldn't have kids and they were quite distantantly related. "It wouldn't be completely wrong, I guess." The tiger purred, petting the empty space on the rock beside him, wanting Shoji to come lie with him.
"Everyone knows Takeshi's threats are empty. They usually just take the hint and leave things alone. Its worked well with Satoru and Madoka. Satoru's learnt not to steal food whilst I'm cooking and Madoka's learnt not to rummage through other people's belongings." Aya said, watching the dragon work on his kimono. Mikio gave a slight bow of his head and looked back around the room. It was quiet now. Everyone appeared to be busy with one thing or another. "Ss." |
Shoji crawled across the rock to lay by Takeshi and he blushed, sort of clinging to the tiger.
"Should we really be doing things like this with Kazuki around?Maybe he should go to another pond..there's the one on the other side of the house.." Tatsuya laughed."At least they work, empty or not.." Haru sighed."Alright, I don't like it when everyone fights, but this is just boring." |
Takeshi let his arm fall over the cat before he settled himself down once more, just enjoying the warmth from both the sun and Shoji. "Your the one that asked him to come out with us." He purred, eyes slowly falling shut.
Kazuki appeared to be more interested in the fish than what the two feline's were doing. Aya had to nodd in agreement. "So, how much longer do you think it will take to complete?" Mikio looked to Haru and had to smirk. "Ss. Told you sso." Standing himself up, the snake smoothed out the front of his robe. "What would you like to do?" |
