Elizabeth Vale, better known as Candy, wasn't really paying attention to her surroundings as she walked down the busy city streeets that night. The air was cool, and it seemed that the hot, stuffy, humidity that most inhabitants of the Southeastern United States had gotten used to over the years was finally taking a break. Looking up overhead, she snapped a picture of the full moon which hung overhead. As she walked, she reviewed the photos from the days events and a small sigh escaped her lips.

Today had been her older sister's wedding. Now Candy adored her successful older sister, however she really hadn't felt like staying for the wedding reception; which had started at nine PM sharp. Now at ten PM, she was walking down the busy streets of downtown Tampa. Not the brightest idea on her part but oh well, there were worse things in life. She had left thr reception a few minutes ago, pleading a stomachache. Her parents thought she was walking to their house which was only a few minutes away from the reception. Wrong! But as long as she was back by one, she'd be fine.

Slipping the blue digital camera into the small white purse she carried with which also held her cell phone and fifty bucks, she frowned as she tried to think of something to do. She didn't want to wander too far, but still, she should have thought this out better. Brushing a strand of red hair from her face she came up with an idea, she'd just go get some coffee then maybe hit a club. There had to be something interesting for a bored eighteen year old to do here.

Looking down at the white heels she wore, she regretted her choice. She knew it would be much easier to call a cab, however she wanted to save her money just in case. She was dressed simply, but nicely for her sister's wedding. She wore white heels with a white Lolita style dress, and a silver necklace with a small sapphre heart. Candy was vain, she knew she was pretty, and knew how to pull that off just right.

She stood about 5,8" with red hair that reached her waist and pale white skin. Her eyes were a cerulean blue that contrasted nicely with her skin and hair. Her figure was slim, and curvy in all the right places, and she dressed to show it. She herself thought she was rather nicely endowed in the chest department particularly.

As she entered a coffee shop, she ordered a coffee and after recieving it and paying, she sat by the window and looked out it, a bored expression upon her face.

Lucaus had been sitting in the back far corner of the shop wondering what to do. He had recently left his partner in crime, Loaki, since he had let their most recent catch get away. He was just about ready to leave when he noticed the girl coming twords the coffee shop.

He was getting ready to leave the coffee shop when a pretty young girl entered. He watched her carefully as she ordered her coffee and sat down. She was beautiful. He quickly noticed that she was alone. She looked as if she was bored and had just come from something important.

Getting up he desided to see if she wanted to do something. "Excuse me." he said as he got closer to her. "Would you like to go to a club with me" He smiled at her, it was a warm, bright smile. He wore faded blue jeans with a red shirt with a rock band logo on it. Over that he had on a black leather jacket. His black hair was cut fairly short, it was just long enough to spike. He had the look of a bad boy and he pulled it off very well.

Candy looked away from the window as she heard footsteps coming towards her. Hearing the male's question she smiled slightly, well it looked like her prayers had been answered after all. "Sure." She said, as she grabbed her coffee and stood up, brushing her red hair behind her shoulders as she looked around and then back at him. Even though her mother had told her never to speak to anybody she didn't know, she never had listened and it had never gotten her into any trouble before. Besides there was no denying that the guy was good-looking.

"I'm Candy." ((And it looks like my creativity is lacking a tad bit...))

Lucaus smiled when she agreed. "I'm Lucaus." he replied softly. He continued to watch her closely though he didn't make it obvious.

Lucaus led her out of the coffee shop asking "Do you know the area well?" as they walked. He had never seen her in the area before.

"Nice to meet you," She said as he led her out of the coffee shop and brushed her bangs out of her her eyes. "And fairly well, I live pretty close by, though I don't spend a lot of time in this part of town." As she walked down the street she looked around, and frowned slightly with a pouty look. Nothing of really interest was going on yet.

Candy loved photography and journalism, and generally had a keen eye wjhen it came to her surroundings, and if something caught her eye, she generally didn't hesitate to snatch of a photo. Though of course, her real passion was modeling, but she didn't see those dreams coming true anytime soon. Unlike her sister. Perfect, precious Raven. Ugh, it always sent a wave of disgust through her when she thought of the family favorite. Though she admired her older sister, she envied her, and hated the fact that so many things had happened for her when Candy's life was so boring in comparison.

Lucaus smiled at her "so what type of things interest you?" he asked leading her down a side road. It was growing darker, he checked his watch it was only 10:30. He smiled the starts were beautiful when you could acctually see them.

Lucaus watched Candy a little bit noticeing that she would make a great model. He smiled and pulled out a cammera and took a picture of her when she wasn't expecting it.

The camera had caught her off guard and stopped walking. She blinked as the camera flashed and looked at him quizically. "May I ask what that was about?" She asked, more than a hint of curiosity in her voice. As she waited for his reply, she looked up at the sky and smiled slightly, it was pretty out. Taking her cell phone out of her purse she glanced at the time and slipped it back inside, she still had plenty of time before she needed to get home. She kind of wanted to know exactly where they were going, but at the moment she was curious as to why he had taken a picture of her.

Lucaus blushed a bit "Sorry, it's just I'm really into photography and you've got the perfect look for a model I need to finnish a project, I'm majoring in photography, and the project is due soon....sorry I should have asked but I love gettting photos when people aren't paying attenttion, it's more real then."

He had stopped walking when she did and he was really nervous now, he didn't want to upset her but he haddn't thought he just really wanted the picture cus it was a perfect picture.

"Really? You think so!" Her face brightened instantly, and she started walking once more. "I'm really into photography as well," She told him, "But I've always wanted to go into modeling," She frowned slightly, "But my parents think its too unrealistic of a dream, but then again, my dear older sister is a model....."

She looked at him and smiled slightly, "So....you're in college? I'm still looking for one I'm afraid..."

He smiled "I don't think modeling is unrealistic you just have to find the right photographer and agency." he started walking again as well.

"umm yeah kind of, I only take the photography class though, and I know how hard it is to find a collage." he turned down another street and stopped in front of a large buliding. "hehe here we are. Club Blue."

She looked at the building and then at him. "Hmmm....I don't think I've ever been here before," She said more to herself than him. "Well, lets go ahead and go in." She said, opening one of the doors and entering.

Stepping inside she looked around before turning her attention back to Lucaus.

Luacus floowed her in and smiled. He loved this club. It was fairly small, all the lights were blue and the floor and walls were blue and silver. "Want something to drink?" he asked her as he walked twords the bar.

He looked to see who was working, it was Launa, like usual.


Launa smiled when she saw Lucaus come through the door "Want your usual?" she asked as he neared the bar. She looked at the girl he had come in with. ~hmmm she's pretty~ she thought ~Deffinately Lucaus's type from the looks of it.~

Launa was about five feet tall with long blonde hair. Her figure was small and she had a light tan skin tone.

She nodded and followed him to the bar, looking at the bartendress she ordered a Coke, and glanced at Lucaus.

Lucaus smiled "Yeah I'll have my usual." He turned to Candy "So what do you think of the place?" he asked her.

Candy looked around before looking at him, "I like it." She said, brushing a strand of hair behind her shoulders. "Too bad I hadn't heard of it earlier."

Lucaus laughed "Yeah, not many people know about it." He smiled as Launa brought them their drinks. "Thanks." he said to Launa before turning back to Candy.

"I see." She said as she glanced around once more, "I'm usually stuck in the more crowded clubs so this is nice she told him," Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she took a sip of a drink. "So, I take it you're from around here?" That was a stupid question however she really never had considered herself great at starting conversations.

Lucaus smiled "Yeah, I know the clubs around are usually pretty crowded. And yeah, I am from around here, I live a few blocks away from the club." He laughed a little.

"Oh wowm" She said, with a faint smile. "Say, you wanna dance?" Instead of waiting for a reply she hurried off towards the dance floor.

Lucaus smiled and followed her out onto the dance floor. When he was right behind her he said "Sure I'll dance with you."

Hearing the start of a slow song, Candy kicked herself mentally for choosing now to dance. Well, it could be worse. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she looked at him for a moment.

"So, what made you decide to invite me here?" She asked, "After all, you don't know me.:

Lucaus smiled and placed his hands on her sides. "Well, you are beutifull and you seemed bored. I just thought you might like this place I don't know why." he blushed a bit then asked "Why'd you come with me? You don't know me either." he was truely cirious about why she had agreed to come.

She blushed slightly and looked at him. "Well," She began, "You see, I was terribly bored, and at the time anything seemed fine with me," She paused and looked around, "I don't think I'll regret it either, you seem pretty interesting."

Well, it was an honest answer after all.

Lucaus smiled as the song ended and a faster one started he danced his way across the dance floor back to the bar to get another iced tea, his usual drink. He also ordered another coke for Candy. he was pretty sure she would be thirsty as well.
