Five years he spent in jail, before he got out. Devon spent the next year spending time with his great uncle, and now he's in charge of handling precious items.

Bio: She's been in foster care for as long as she could remember. She never really knew what had happened to her parents. She had been through several foster homes where she had been beaten or worse. She was glad to finnaly be out of foster care.

As the bright sun arose across the mountains, the young male slurred in his sleep. The curtains were defiantly not doing there jobs. He arose in his bed, spinning in a small circle. He was dizzy, and annoyed.

Devon climbed out of his bed, hitting his noggin a few times. Thursday mornings were not his best. He changed his clothes, and ate his breakfast in a slow manner. He didn't need to be at work for some time, so why rush it?

When the time was at the top, and ready to go, Devon left his home and walked down to the elevator. Was having a rich uncle bad? No, no it wasn't. Devon made his way to his car and climbed in with his coffee. Not a bad morning, but that was just the beginning.

Sasha yawned a little bit. She was already at work. She didn't really like the place but it worked for now, she was working at an antiuqe shop in the down town area. She sipped on a cup of coffee and waited for customers to come in.

She knew it wasn't much use, they hardly ever got any customers at the shop. The shop was small and dusty besides it was out of the way for most people. The only time the ever go customers was when they were looking for something spacific.

Devon walked into the large building, after parking his car. Today was going to suck, he just knew it. The office wasn't filled, like a normal one, but had very few people working in it. The was normal.

Devon swiched and turned past many people, on his way to his own private office. Paperwork wouldn't have been nice in this office. When he finally arrived his office, his uncle was waiting for him.

"Good morning, uncle."

"Devon. " His voice was deep, a rich man like himself was supposed to have one.

"Is there something I can help you with?"

"Yes, yes there is something you can help me with..."

It had been nearly two hours since Sasha had started work and still not one customer had come in. She yawned again and desided to look around the store, see if Maggie had gotten any new items in over the weekend.

"What is it?" Devon asked in a confused tone.

"I need you to run an errand for me. These people owe me some money, and I told them I'd be stopping by to pick the cash up, but...sadly...they don't have the cash, and I cannot go at the moment." He explained, slurring his pauses. "I need you to pick someone up for me..."

Devon raised an eyebrow before letting a nod move his head. "Give me the address, and I'll pick it up.."

After a few minutes, Devon made his way out to the car. His boss had given him a picture of the person, though she looked nothing like he expected. He had this person up? He sighed softly and shook his head. "Oh well..."

Sasha smiled Maggie had gotten some new things. A few of them interested her, one was a small golden box that had a few dimonds and rubies placed around the box. She was very interested in the box and so didn't notice whe a customer entered. Though she didn't have to worry the person quickly left and she wass alone again.

The car halted to a spot along the side of the road, stopping in front of the antique shop. This was the place, right? Devon climbed out of his car, and onto the sidewalk. He glanced at the picture and looked back at the shop. She was inside, he knew it. Devon waited a few minutes, before entering the shop.

Sasha set the box down and smiled at the guy who entered the store "Hello how can I help you?" she saked walking back twords the counter straightening a few things along the way.

Devon nodded softly, as he glanced at the female. "Hello..." He muttered, glancing at the picture once more. That was defiantly her. He smiled softly, and walked towards her. "I'm looking for something special. I was wondering if you had something like it..."

Sasha smiled "Well what are you looking for?" she asked him. She couldn't help but stare at him a little but, he was hot. She moved around the counter to the computer getting ready to look up anything he was looking for, to see if they had it.

Devon smiled softly and nodded. "I'm looking for this...." He glanced at the box that she'd been near, though he didn't turn his head. "...box. Looks kind of like a jewelry box..."

Sasha smiled a little. "Ah that, not it's not a jewlery." she said walking over to him "It's a prayer box, and this one is from a special Buddah temple in China." she smiled a bit "I reallylike the things that the temple sends us." She showed him a few of the other peices they had sent. Several were also prayer boxes and the others were small statues.

He nodded as he looked at the boxes, smiling softly at the girl. "I see.." He touched one of the better looking ones. "I'll take this one then. How much...?"

Sasha looked at it a moment then took it back to the register, it was a bit larger then the one she liked it also had more jewls in it. She scaned it to check the price. "hmm wierd...." she said to herself, there was no price that came up, "Hold on a sec, I've got to go ask the owner a question." She said going back around the counter and heading twords the back room.

Devon nodded and watched her with a pleasant smile. He began strolling around the store, examine the random little trinkets around the shelfs and up high. "Cute store..." He muttered softly, glancing off in the direction the female disappeared to. Whatever his uncle wanted with this girl, was a mystery to him. But, defying his uncle would result with some broken bones. Devon sighed softly and glance at the trinkets once more. How was he supposed to get this girl anyway? Tricking her would seem wrong. Devon sighed softly, and then smiled softly. He had an idea. A good one too.

Sasha came back out a few moments later with a big book, she quickly found the price "Sir?" she said trying to get his attenttion. "Sir, this box is twenty-five dollars." she said softly. "Is there anything else you want?" she asked noticeing he had been looking at some of the other things.

The male turned and nodded softly. "Alright I'll take it.." He approached the counter and pulled out his wallet. He put the correct amount on the counter, and then leaned on it slightly. "There was one thing else I wanted..." He glanced around and then back at her, though now, he was officially staring into her eyes with a soft glance. "I remember now... it was you..."

Sasha lughed a bit, nervously "I'm sorry?" she said a bit confused, why would a hotty like him want a girl-next-door type like her? She looked around a bit, she had no clue what to do or say to that.

He smiled softly at her, as he continued to lean closer. "I want to take you out on a date. You seem kind of sad, and so I think I could cheer you up.." A good lie.

Sasha smiled a little "Me? Oh-no I'm not sad, and besides, I don't even know you."
She was very much so nervous now. She had no clue if he was just trying to toy with her or not. She put the box into a small bag for him and then put the money in the cash register takeing her time with it all.

He grinned softly. Damn his uncle for perfect teeth. "So? Some people are complete mysteries to each other at first. So, won't you?"
