Damian sat on his suitcase, waiting for his parents and siblings to hurry up. He ran a hand through his hair, blinking his eyes as he watched people pass by and board the Titantic. It was an engineering feat by his standards, with such a big capacity and able to hold so many passengers.

He stood up, brushing himself off as he saw his family finally come through with all of their luggage in hand. Finally they could go on the ship. He sniffed the air, liking the salty scent. Hopefully it was going to be a great trip.

Soquira Valisari frowned as she boarded the ship with her family. It was hard to believe that they were actually here. Looking at her mother, she told her she wanted to have a look around, after all it was a shock that the ship was built the way it was. Apparently it was unsinkable. Well, she certainly hoped that was true.

Her mother told her to stay and she grimaced slightly, as she looked over the railing. Well that would be quite a drop. Looking around she brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes, she wondered what it would be like in America. The seventeen year old had been born and raised in Italy all her life, and her family was more than a tad bit wealthy, however when they heard about the ship, her parents couldn't pass up the opporutinity to sail on its maiden voyage and visit their relatives living in New England.

Damian boarded the ship, his family following behind him. As soon as he was on the ship he had to take in the surroundings as it was the first time he had been on such a big ship. Normally he was on land and it was pretty surprising that his dad had even decided to have them go on the Titanic, but they did need to go to New England for his new job there.

He was ready to run and explore the rest of the ship when his father grabbed his shoulder, causing him to sigh. Well it's not like it wasn't justified. He had always wanted to see places other than where he was born and his hometown. Despite being in the upper middle class he never went too far out of his town in Italy. Well seeing America would be all the more worth it.

After the ship actually set sail she practically begged her parents to let her go and see the ship. When her parents actually agreed she hurried off and not paying attention to where she was going she managed to run into a boy who could have been around her age.

Damian almost lost his balance, luckily falling forward a bit as he saw a girl around his age. He raised an eyebrow, wondering what she was doing. He held a hand out to help her up.

Soquira took his hand and pulled herself back up, smiling weakly. "Sorry..." She said quietly as she brushed her hair behind her shoulders. "I wasn't really paying attention to where I was going. I was too worried about looking around..."

"Don't worry it's fine." Damian helped pull her up, smiling. "I guess that makes two of us. I've been itching to explore this ship." He looked at her features, tilting his head a bit.
