Alec nodded his head, it was really good actually. Though the syrup made it a bit sweeter than the things Alec was used to and he was almost certain he wouldn’t be able to eat it all, but that was okay with him. Alec listened to Lucy and couldn’t help but to smile lightly, though he attempted to cover that smile up by taking another bite of the pancakes.

Lucy smiled at Alec and began to eat his pancakes as well, and then kissed Alec's cheek gently."You like them?"

Alec nodded his head lightly. “They’re good,” he said as he took another bite. So there was one good thing about being down here, he got to try new foods, it seemed odd in a way but he was okay with it.

"Ah, good.Thought you might like something sweet." Nero grinned."Since Kyrie does as well..Sorry for assuming you both like the exact same things, but I just figured, sinc your both angels, you like similar things." He laughed.

“It’s okay,” said Alec with a light shrug. He didn’t mind that Nero assumed that he would like the same things as Kyrie, for the most part he probably would; or at the very least he would take Kyrie’s word for what was good, for most things.

"Just tell me what you do and don't like, so I'm not paranoid when making you meals." Nero laughed."Don't want to feel like I'm forcing you to eat something that you hate, but are too nice to say you don't like."

“I’m not too picky about food, so long as its not meat I’ll probably like it,” said Alec with a light smile.

"Alright, then.No meat, that's the only thing he doesn't like.Got it." Nero laughed.

Lucy kissed Alec's cheek again and smiled."Your so cute.." He whispered lovingly, before going back to his breakfast.

Alec’s ears went red slightly at the kiss to his cheek and Lucy’s words. He shook it off and went back to eating, finishing all but one third of the pancakes he’d been given.

Soon Nero, Kyrie and Lucy finished as well, and the twins stood up and took all fo the plates to the kitchen.

"Alright..Sorry, Alec, but you'll have to be alone with Kyrie today, because I ahve to go to work..Alright?I'll see you later." Lucy said, after getting dressed and such.He kissed Alec's forehead and smiled."I'll see you tonight, babe." He said, smiling as he walked out, along with Nero, who kissed Kyrie's lips softly before leaving.

Alec nodded his head lightly, he understood the need for someone to work so he didn’t mind or complain. He didn’t mind staying alone with Kyrie if anything he was glad for it.

Kyrie yawned and smiled over at Alec."So, we're alone for the whole day..What would out like to do?There's a checkers set, and a chess set, if you want to play a game.."

“I don’t know how to play either of those,” admitted Alec with a weak smile. He had had few friends in heaven and those few friends hardly ever played games with Alec.

"Hmm..I don't know what else we could do, other than talk and such.." Kyrie giggled."What do you usually do all day?Like, if you can't go outside?"

Alec shrugged lightly; there really wasn’t much he did other than doing other people’s work for them. “I pretty much read and write really,” he said, “real boring life.”

"Hmm..I have some books, but reading's a bit boring, not really fun.." Kyrie said, sighing and crossing his arms cutely."We HAVE to find something to do, otherwise we're just bored, sitting around all day."

Alec laughed lightly and shrugged. He really couldn’t think of anything they could do. “What do you usually do?” he asked.

"Well..Not much, really.Reading, playing checkers with myself...And Nero was off all last week, so I got to talk to him and stuff..And did stuff with him you problably don't want to hear.." Kyrie blushed deep red."And I don't either, it's kinda embarrassing.."

“Yeah I probably don’t,” said Alec with a slight giggle that was almost uncharacteristic to how he had been behaving lately. “Well maybe you could teach me how to play checkers? I think I remember somewhat of what it is but I can’t recall ever having actually played.”

"Okay.It's not too hard." Kyrie said, standing up and walking over to where they kept the checkers and the checkerboard, and put them on top of one of the tables Nero had served their breakfast on.

Alec nodded his head, he hadn’t thought the game would be hard but sometimes one could never tell. He remembered vaguely trying to get one of his friends to play a game with him, he thought it had been checkers but he couldn’t remember.

"Alright..Which color do you want to be?Black or white?Well, it's more like dark brown or cream.." Kyrie said, sorting the colors of the pieces, since they had been mixed together in one box.

“Um…I guess I’ll take the cream,” said Alec with a slight shrug. It really wouldn’t have mattered either way to him.

"Alright, then.You just set up your pieces like this.." Kyrie said, lining up his 12 pieces on the dark squares."You have to put both colors of pieces on the same colored squares, or you won't get anywhere in the game." he giggled.

“Oh okay,” said Alec setting up his pieces like Kyrie instructed him to do. It almost seemed silly to put the same colored piece on top of the same colored square, but whatever if that’s how the game was played.
