“You mean there is someone trying to kill off everyone?” she asked worriedly, she started to bite her lip again; she set her purse down on the table next to the door. There was a knock on the door and Aoi looked as he jumped out of his skin.
“Hello, Todd.” she said to him, she pulled three cups down, she poured some alcohol in them before she set them out in front of Todd, Aoi and her self. It wasn’t often that she drank but she did when she felt like she need to, even if there was a detective in their place. “What about that envelope that R-K gave you? Was that the evidence that was taken?” Jenn asked them softly, she nursed her drink as she looked at the table, and this person who was killing her friends off, well it must be why Aoi was worried about her earlier. She reached a hand out and tucked it into his, holding onto it tightly, worried about him and everyone else. |
A second after he had started a conversation with the girls his phone began to ring. It was one of the songs his band played. He put up one finger to the girls very politely. "Could you excuse me please?" After that he clicked the recieve button and got up to walk outside. "Yes?"
Hey bud, sorry for taking off like that. Aoi's voice was on the other end. "Its ok. Is Jenn okay?" Yeah, Jenn's okay. Anyways, would you mind stopping over? "Yeah sure, Whats up?" We need to... well, someone stole our evidence. He sighed. "Oh no, hun, Thats not good." He said suprised Could you bring the girls too? Maybe we can use them as undercover spies? "Sure ill bring them. You know this might not go over with Princess though. I cant stay for long or else ill be the one thats killed next. Ill talk to you when we get there. Goodbye hun" With that he hung up the phone and walked back inside to the table where the girls were. "Hey darlings. Aoi would like it if you joined me in coming to his house. He needs our help with something." |
"Yeah sure. Don't call me 'darling' again, though." Megan ordered, flicking his ear lightly. "Shay, come on. Aoi's house is in walking distance, so it shouldn't be too bad a walk."
Shay followed her cousin out of the restaraunt. "You sure this is okay, letting some random girl know where his house is?" She asked jokingly. ((Urgh, sorry. Not really sure what to do.)) |
Air looked at the girl with a finger pointing at himself. It was alittle strange to be told not to call them darlings. They were really cute and he couldnt help but call people darling. He just followed them out of the restuarant as casually as usual. He didnt want to say another word to them for fear that they might order him around again. Then the girl named Shay asked him a question that almost seemed jokingly. "Well he did invite you sweetheart so i guess its ok right?"

Kat opened her mouth to speak when Aoi suddenly ran out and Air came into the restaurant. Kat had met Air a few times, and aparently he had been the one to tell Aoi about her. She sighed and looked over her shoulder, seeing her manager walking up to her with a bit of an angry look on his face. "Kathrine, your other customers are waiting. And HE wants to see you and request a song from you." He said meaningfully. Kat's eyes widened as she looked over at Air and the other two girls as they got up and began to exit the restaurant.
"But-" "You know you can't refuse, Kathrine!" Interupted her manager, grabbing onto her upper arm. She winced as he gripped her a bit hard, and looked back over at Air and the girls. Kat sighed. "I'll be at the try-outs. I'm sorry. I have to stay..." Looking extremely disappointed, Kat walked over to a large table by the stage, her manager letting go of her arm, and stood between the table and the stage. The live string band had already set up and was playing slow and relaxing music. At the table, there was a large middle-age man in an expensive suit, surrounded by four shadey-looking guys with dark sunglasses. "Kathrin. You know I love it when you're working here. Much more classy than the fighting ring job you got as a referee. Why don't you sing me and my boys a little song? Something classy and upbeat!" Said the man, smirking at Kat, his beady black eyes looking her up and down as the goons near him chuckled and eyed her over their sunglasses. Kat looked down and nodded, forcing a smile. This man was obviously dangerous. Even random people who didn't know him could tell he was either gang or mafia related. So Kat had no choice. She stepped onto the small stage, and the band stopped their playing as she told them what song. A couple of them switched their instruments to horns to match the song choice. It wasn't her usual style of music, though she did enjoy it occasionally, but she knew that it would please the mafia man. the Day After the Murder About 12:54 PM ------------- Aoi smiled, welcoming the girls and Air graciously into his house. "Welcome, welcome. Make yourself at home. Oh, Air. Ummm, I think you'll be safe here. I had a friend tell me that Princess and your gang avoid this part of town. I guess this is... Angel's territory." A smiled came to his now reddening face. "You could say she has a crush on me and watches my every move. You're safe here." Todd's brow raised. "Safe?" He snorted. "Unlikely. You'd only be safe if you had an assassin on your side." "Angel is an assassin." "Oh." "Yeah, I think Jenn's the only one who's in danger. But Angel doesn't seem to want to win me in that manner. I guess she wants to win me the... fair game style. Weird, eh?" "Well, this Angel does seem respectable. Do you think she might be able to..." Todd paused when he saw Jenn's face. "Nevermind." Aoi cocked his head. He was slightly confused, but he knew better than to question a cop's motives and reasons. "So...." "You three, where were you the night of R-K's murder?" Todd flipped out a pad and pen as he turned to Shay, Electrica, and Air. "Wh-what are you asking them for? Why would they kill R-K?" "The one is trying for her part. Killing her is motive for the place in the band. Air is Princess' step-brother. Princess hates R-K. This other chick... maybe she was decided to back-stab her friend to get her friend here the part." The black-haired male burst out laughing. "That is the most absurd story I've ever heard! Go on girls and Air, tell 'm that you were not her killer." |
Shay grabbed her cousin's wrist, seeing the 'I'm going to punch this mother f*cker's lights out' look on her cousin's face- and having her go in for assaulting a cop was NOT going to help. "I got into town two days ago. I was sleeping off about twenty hours of jet lag." Shay told the detective. "And for the record? I'm trying out for drummer, not vocals, and I'm not THAT desperate for a job."
"I was busy helping Shay move in." Megan said through clenched teeth. "I didn't even know about the murder until Aoi called me and I saw the news report." She glared at Todd. "And if you imply that I killed my best friend again, I swear to god I'll hire Angel myself." |

Air sighed at the mans request. He loved the warm welcome from Aoi but they both knew it wasnt true. Princess had her resources that could get into Angel's territory. Even Aoi would know that. He put his hand on his forehead with the other in his pocket and just shook it. "Im sorry my good sir but if you think i would kill a friend i would have to ask you take a little bit of a deeper investigation towards me. I do not harm people. I help." With that he walked to the couch and sat down with his legs crossed. He also put one arm on the back of the couch and the other in his lap. "So what is your plan Aoi?"

Aoi shrugged as he looked over at Todd. "Are they good now?" "I never doubted them, nor did I deserve their lip. I can detain you all for insulting me. But I'm not that rude. I'm sorry if you don't like my questioning and methods, but it's how I am. Besides, I have rules I have to follow." "Please forgive them," Aoi said bowing slightly at Todd. "I think we're all just stressed with R-K's death." "Nonetheless, I recommend you all shape up some. Respect your elders. Especially those that are trying to uncover the truth. Or would you rather K-R's killer never be found?" A sad face overcame Aoi. "I would rather you not leave this case. If we have anyone else take it over...." "Nothing would happen. I know. It's because Kitty's a whore and Candi's lover." He rolled his eyes and joined Air on the couch. "Anyways, I was thinking about finger printing the place again. Kitty did it the first time, and I'm guessing she didn't check everyone. The issue is... getting into the place without her noticing. So, I was hoping you three," he pointed to Jenn, Shay, and Air, "could assist me. I need a big scene. Maybe... shoving Candi or something. If you could lure Candi out," Todd was talking to Air, "maybe Jenn and Shay could... insult her." "Or punch the bitch." "I'm not allowed to say that, but if it happens... well, we all know where I stand." Todd flashed them his charming smile. "Are you three up for the challenge?" "Electrica, you and Aoi would be with me. And get that Kat girl too. I'll teach you how to use the dust and whatnot. I'll then send the files to my brother-in-law. He's out of state and coming to visit. He'll be able to run the stuff we find and report back to me. He's in Jersey. So he's only about 30 minutes away." "Wow, I always wanted to be a cop. It sounds too complicated. I'm glad I picked up singing and playing." "Heh, I'm a cop and a CSI. Ever since our team was jailed for whatever story the news is broadcasting now, I had to pick up where they were. You could say I'm working two jobs and yeah... it sucks." "Which do you like more?" “A fight is going to break out, if we three have to mess with Candi, Kitty won‘t sit by while we do that.” Jenn said as she moved about the kitchen, she was pulling cups down and getting drinks for everyone. Soon there was a cup in front of everyone. She walked back into the kitchen and poured some vodka in her cup and drank some of it. She had been listening to everything quietly, she leaned against the table and watched them carefully, she hoped that they could catch R-K’s killer. She sighed heavily and took another sip of her mixed drink, she wasn’t liking the fact that others may be killed in their group of friends.

Air was a little stunned when the man had said he had been rude. He was barely ever rude to anybody. Not even his sister. It was the few occasional people who would provoke him so much he would burst into rudeness. He sighed as the man looked at him telling him his plan of attack on the house. There it was again. They were trying to get him involved when it would only get him in trouble with his sister. "I am truly sorry but i must decline on this plan." He stood up from the couch. "R-K is my friend and all but she wouldnt want me to get killed by my own sister. Aoi, hun, you know Princess will come after me. Especially if im part of making a scene. I would love to help in any way. I just cant do anything that would put me in danger. I do hope you understand."

Shay put a hand on Megan's shoulder. "Easy, cuz. Go with the detective, I know how to fingerprint already. And detective, if you manage to pin down who murdered R-K, I will come crawling into your office and beg for that internship." Megan took a couple of deep breaths. "I'm sorry about that, detective. I have a bad temper, and it's been running away with me lately. I'll be happy to help any way I can." She looked over at Air, who was excusing himself. "Air, it's okay, we understand. We all know what Princess's bad side looks like here." |
Todd shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. I should cut you all more slack. Anyways, can you two tell me more about yourselves?" Todd looked from Shay to Electrica. "I'll need to clear you both, and if I can find out some more about you, I'm sure I can clear you both." He gave them a sweet grin. Meanwhile, Aoi had disappeared and was back at the French restaurant speaking with that manager. "So sir, if you don't mind, we need to borrow Kat. I guess that detective that was here easier needs to speak with her. Would it be okay? It is all for a good cause. Please sir, please?" |
Shay looked a little surprisd. "Um, sure, I guess." She paused to think. "Well, I'm from out of state- California actually. My dad's in the LAPD there, which is why I know more about investigation tactics and crime scenes than any twenty year old blonde girl should. I got replaced in my first and last band kicked me out for our lead singer's latest boytoy. I'm here because Me- sorry, don't hit me- Electrica invited me down to audition for e-MERGEncy's new drummer."
Megan lowered her raised fist- she wasn't ACTUALLY gonna hit Shaylie for slipping up on her name in front of people. "Not much to say about me. I'm from here, R-K was my best friend. I've got a job down at the mall and an apartment a few miles from here." "And her real name is Megan and she'll hit you if- owww!" Shaylie grabbed her shoulder as Megan punched her hard, despite her desperate attempt to dodge. |
Air sighed at the others. He was going to get in trouble for the next words coming out of his mouth but he might as well. "I guess i can help to create a diversion. As long as its not a big one i should be fine. Princess will hopefully not figure it out." He put a hand behind his head and looked at the girls as he rubbed it. He just couldnt stand that two extremely beautiful girls were going to help get the evidence while he looked like he was running away scared. "What kind of diversion would you like?" Besides. He figured that if he created a distraction, it would be alot bigger and would keep whoever they were suppose to distract distracted for however long they needed.

Kat had just gotten finished with the song, and ran off to serve more food for her customers. She went and got the mafia boss' food, and he gave her a rather large tip of five hundred bucks, eyeing her up and down. She was most definately disgusted by the man, though she thanked him politely an quickly walked away before he could say anything. He had been trying to hook her up with his son for weeks! She looked over to see her manager speaking to Aoi.
"That detective needs to speak with Kathrine? Well... I suppose so..." He glanced over his shoulder to see if Kat was still entertaining the mob boss. Seeing that she wasn't, he waved her over. When Kat was standing next to him, the manager wrapped an arm around her shoulder and smiled. "Take the day off. You've earned it." He then held his hand out, and she sighed and took the large tip out of her pocket and gave it to him. Kat smiled at Aoi as her giddy manager walked off to scold a new waitress whom had dropped a couple expensive champaign glasses. "I'll go grab my stuff and change. Meet me around back at the red motorcycle?" She said, waving and quickly going into the back room to change. She had extra clothes in her locker that suited her just fine. A black tank top and tight leather pants instead of her loose ones. She shoved her clothes into her locker and vowed to come in early so she could change the next morning. She shouldered her red heart with black bat wings back pack and grabbed her helmet and headed out back to her beloved red ninja motorcycle. |
"Well, I was thinking just something with Candi. I'm not sure how much you hang with her, but we just need someone to trip or insult the girl. Something to get Kitty concerned. It would be great if you could have Princess with you as well. You know, to make her less suspicious of you."
The male's brows rose as he thought. "Is there anyway this could happen on your way to practice? Could maybe... Electrica, in disguise, shove into Candi and then trip Princess. I know Kitty was going to the show. So seeing that act, she would start to run after you, but she's damn slow. You'd escape, the other one can stay around, that would be you Shay. I'm assuming not many people know you. Anyways, if you could stay with them and fill us in with what's happening it would help." The male paused. "Better yet, Jenn, can you cause the commotion. I know you're wicked fast. I mean, I can see all the gold trophies you won from high school for running." His eyes wandered to Electrica. "Since you have the dusting down, would you mind joining Aoi, Kat, and myself?" Aoi smiled and waltzed outback. Waiting patiently, he thought to himself just what Todd was relaying to the girls and Air. Shrugging, his red eyes looked about. Thank god. No Angel. When Kat finally appeared, he spoke. "Hope you don't mine getting dragged into this." |

Electrica grinned at the suggestion. "Sounds good to me. I'd love to trip up Princess- maybe I can get her to split a lip or something." "Maybe it would be best if you both went." Shay suggested. "You said your partner's pretty slow, right? Well, why not give her two targets and really mess her up? All you'd need are some disguises... maybe some band merch?" Eletrica's eyes lit up, getting where her cousin was going with this. "Hey, yeah. Every e-MERGEncy fan in the world probably thinks that truePUNK is behind R-K's death already... a couple of overly rowdy fans might be a great disguises." |
Air's eyes widened. If he brought Princess to the crime scene he would be murdered in a figurative sense. She would know what was going on. Even if he brought Candi he would get in a sort of trouble. He sighed at all the thoughts running through his head. Thats when the girls brought up getting disguises that would involve e-MERGEncy fans hating on his band truePUNK... This was going to get ugly. He wanted to say something like but im going to help and you want them to basically beat up on me, but that wasnt in his nature to say. He just looked between the girls like dont get me killed here, or something to that effect.

"Hmmmm. Good idea. But... I think we need this to go down at there gig. Air, you're already going to be there, so you can text one of the girls when she and Candi arrive. You can also give us Kitty's 20... erm, location. Once everyone's there, Electria and Jenn... are we picking you two now? Whoever, you can start a riot. Kitty will be forced to stay there. Moreover, the cops on the team would be all over there to break it up and whatnot. If you girls could start the riot, you know, but saying 'Booooo' or something, I'm sure the crowd would pick up. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to call up your e-MERGEncy loving friends."

Kat waved her hand at Aoi dismisively. "It's alright. If you walked here and don't have a car, I can get us there faster." Said the red-head, unstrapping her extra helmet from the back of the motorcycle and offering it to Aoi as she stratled the bike. She loved her bike, and believed it was the most fun way to travel. Even better than air planes! Such a rush!
