Hey everyone, I’ve got an idea for a role-play, that I’ve actually started a few other places, but it never really caught on, unfortunately. *sigh*

Anyway, I don’t really have any preference for any direction it has to go. I do need someone to be the ‘bad guy’ (or girl, I’m not biased). They could even be a group. ^_^ It would be nice to also have someone who was a ‘good guy’, but it’s not a necessity.

And, like I said, I don’t really have anywhere I want to go with this. If you would like, I can even show you the first post.

The First Post:

Element's Child

...Care to actually tell people about your idea so people can decide whether they want to partake?

O.O ... oops ... sorry! *sheepish grin* That's probably a good idea, isn't it. hehe

Alright so, first of all I should probably mention that with the Rp, I'm trying to get a better feel for the main character in a story I'm writing.

About 20 years ago (story time) the place she lived was attacked and basically destroyed. Her mother, and the mothers of three other girls, got out and went in separate directions, hiding their child in four different towns all across the continent.

Aleana, my character, is left in a village called Herandy, where she's adopted by a couple. They isolated from most of the rest of the world, and very rarely get any visitors. As such, they have no clue that Aleana is actually an elf, just that she's different.

Also, Aleana can wield water, though what she can actually do is limited.

Um ... so yeah ... The RP will open up in Herandy, and whatever happens after that ... happens. Basically though, there's someone looking for her, and the other four, though they probably wont show up in the RP as I haven't really thought about them much ... unless someone else wants to RP them at any rate.

If someone does, feel free to ask and I'll give you their info.

Of the other four there's two humans, a neko, and a vampire.

One of the humans is a girl, and she basically wields earth ... plants and things. The other one is a male, and he wields ... well light, technically. He wasn't at the village, and most people don't know that he's one of the 'children'

The neko is also a girl, and she wields air. Vampire, also female, wields fire ... just because I wanted to be funny.

I want to join, but I've got two questions: 1) Can I post my sheet here? And, 2) Would you mind if I play the neko? I'm guessing we wouldn't meet up for a bit.

Packhunter247: Yes, you can post your sheet here. I'd actually prefer it so that it doesn't clutter up the RP forum. ^_^ I'll move the sheet over once you're ready to join.

As for Playing the Neko, sure thing. She's vaguely like Aleana in that she's kind of limited on what she can do, and that she gets tired if she uses it too regularly or too much at once. Other than that, Have FUn!

miss murder: Sure thing! The vampire is very special in that she can actually walk around in the sunlight (it's a side effect of being Fire's child). She's also a fighter. Those are really all that is set in stone, so other than that, Have Fun!

Now, I know it says that the characters don't meet up for awhile (storyline wise) however, if you want they can be added in whenever you decide to join. On the other hand, we can always go through the subplots until they meet up. It all really depends on what you'd both prefer to do. ^_^

You should add a twist... like if it turned out someone was a bit naaaughty and there was a fifth child that could wield metal/steel or something. xD;

That's a nice twist, except ... well, the setting is kind of before people have found many uses for metal and steal. Except for swords and things. *frowns thoughtfully* I don't know it might work, but it would have to be a sixth child as the male human is the fifth, and people don't know about him either .... hmm ...

You know, like the person in your head that talks to you and such. Except, really I would probably be more of a spirit girl that only you or whoever can see.

er ... well, I do have one RP going with Aleana, but I'm thinking about putting all of starting a different one for this, as it seems like the other one isn't really doing anything ... or going anywhere ... or much of anything really. I'm gonna PM the other two and see how close they are to posting their profiles ...

*shrugs* sure, not a problem with me. And, lucky you, She's the only one that's completely connected with her Element. Which means she can do a whole lot more with it than anyone else, and it doesn't tire her out. So, have fun with the Character! and post it soon ^_^

I won't be on the computer for a long time, tommorow. It will be my mom's birthday and we are going to Flat Iron.
