Welcome to Honeyed Affliction! I was trying to make up a cool name and this is what I came up with haha.
I decided on only 10 RPers as the limit because from experience,
things will get out of control with 10+ people. @[email protected] If you know what I mean...
but who knows, maybe more people will need to be added as the story goes on.

I want you to understand that I'm a very busy student,
and I realize that my English is not perfect due to that it is my second language.
So my role in this thread will be more like a hostess rather than a RPGer.
but of course, I'll be joining the story as often as I can. :]

Rules:
+ General Mene rules with langauge and stuff, you know. PG 13.
+ If you decide to join this RPG, you have to AT LEAST contribute with one post to the story PER WEEK.
+ Try to be literate... or semi-literate.
+ I have the right to kick you out if...
1. You start typing like you don't care, that you are just here to make money.
2. Offence towards other RPGers.
3. Dramatically change the plot without consent of others.
+ You are not allowed to kill any main characters (the 10 RPers of this thread) unless with permission.
+ You are responsible, and have the control of only your own character. ( More info provided in the next post).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
So as hinted above this is a vampire and human based RP.
To be honest, this is the first I've ever started a RP and the first time to be part in one. xD
So I really hopes that this all works out.
I don't know how many of you has read the Stephenie Meyer series including Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. Our RPG is going to be similar to that, but completely our own. :]
Personally, I think they butchered the Twilight movie, but that's just an opinion.

Background Info-->
- Human and vampires exist in one world, but vampires have to keep their species a secret.
- Yes vampires drink blood, human or other animal blood. ;-;
- A school and teen life style base RP.
- Supernatural powers, twists in the story are a must.
- Maybe magical powers for the vampires. (We need to dicuss about it if you decide to make your character more special).
- Suspense and a bit of romance where appropriate.
- We can make up a city name or cities for that matter, but I'm thinking about a setting that is kind of like Rome. Ancient and modern mixed together, if you get the picture.
- **The characters do not know each other at first, make their meetings interesting :D!
- **They all attend to the same school. We need to decide on a name, the population, teachers, events, and stuff like that.

Age: 17
Personality: Lyra is very, very quiet, and mostly keeps to herself. It is not that she is stuck up or beyond other people, but mostly because she is shy by nature. Outside of school she is much more outgoing, and quite a lot of fun to hang out with. Those that have gotten to know her have also gotten used to her constantly changing personality. At one moment she can be a timid little schoolgirl, at the next, she is loud and laughing at nothing at all. The thing to remember with her is she is a people pleaser. She doesn't like to see others sad and most likely adapts her own personality to what will make them smile. This gets her called a lot of things, the most common among them being "without a mind of her own". This isn't true. She just prefers to compliment other people's personalities with one of the many aspects of her own. At the very core of her being though, she is kind and empathetic and loves the simple things in life. No matter what way she behaves in, that shines through.
Their specialty & other things to note: Lyra loves to write music and sing, so she is often found doing one or the other. Most of the times at the end of class while everyone is gathering their things, she is scribbling a lyric or verse on a spare scrap of paper and tapping her foot to the beat.

I have honestly never read any of the books, but I did roleplay briefly with someone who based his character off the vampires in the series. My only suggestion is just patience. New rps take a while to fill up, usually, and this is a particularly slow moving website.

Hmmm. I can't think of any, but I know one from a roleplay I was in a long time ago.

St. Miranda

It's nothing fancy, but it's easy to remember and fairly generic, so it can work for any kind of city really.

Your character's name: Rain Summers (Rai for short)

Age: Appears 17 or 18
Personality: He's quite the outgoing type, even for a vampire. Rai enjoys any attention he gets from female humans, but the second they try to get close to him he pulls away. He has a slightly cold exterior, often sarcastic and cynical. Some have described Rai as a bully, but really he has trouble talking and acting normally around humans. When by himself a softer side can be seen. Times like this are often when he's taking walks or just resting outside. Rai will never back away from a challenge unless it directly threatens him.
Their peciality & other things to note: He has very pale skin as all vampires do. He also has night black, straight hair with a side fringe that occasionally covers his right eye. His left eye is a piercing blue but his right eye is a brownish red, the one that glows red when he is 'hunting'.

Would a power be allowed for Rai?

I just finished the Twilight Saga books recently, and I'm very excited to have found this RP! I love the books, and the movie is 'okay' :angel:

Age: Appears 21, actual age roughly 110 years.

Personality:Esira is a happy spirit just looking for a good night crowd to blend in with and dance the evenings away. She's determined to continue her human life right where she left off, enjoying everything it has to offer. At first is was impossible, she kept her distance as best she could, but only time and practice allowed her to get closer. Only within the past few years has she been able to hold back the thirst enough to enjoy herself, and she's the happiest she's been in nearly a century. Unfortunately for the animals, and the occasional mugger, she still has to feed, and she does so only as often as required to have 'fun'.

Their specialty & other things to note: Dancing, Gymnastics, and the Piccolo are the three sources of her greatest calm. She loses herself almost completely when she's focused on these, and it allows her to relax and feel human again, 'almost.'

She has a habit of going off into random subjects to entertain herself during conversation. The uniform she wears is a one-of-a-kind and only given out to student council members.

my dad is always updated with finance stuff and he tries to explain all that to me,
I just nod. the whole north america is said to be in economic crisis,
but I don't really feel that the economy is affecting where I live that much,
