Somme City

Since this is the OOC thread, I'll explain simply and clearly and save the long story for the actual RP thread.

As usual, this is a fantasy based RP. You know, witches, wizards, dragons, unicorns, vampires, werewolves, ect.
Somme city is a city smack dot in the middle of Ent Forest in the middle of the Groaning Mountains. There are ways to get in and out of Somme city, but it takes forever. It's sort of a "in or out, can't have both" situation. Somme city is a HUGE city. About as big as New York, length and width wise. What makes Somme city so marvelous is its height. The city is made out of millions of trees grown together and because of this, there are many floors or levels to the city, allowing it to hold a humongous number of people. In total, there are one-hundred levels. Just imagine one-hundred New Yorks made out of trees and stacked on top of one another and you basically have Somme city.
The RP will mostly be taking place at the ground level of Somme city, but may move up to one or more of the other ninety-nine levels if needed.

I don't have a story or quest at this moment for those who join the RP to play into or accomplish, but I do have characters, more or less empty shells, the may be used or referenced in your RPC's past or present.
If you have any ideas for a story or quest, please say so. Anything and everything is welcome *nod nod*

Part they play in Somme: More or less "Head honcho" or mayor of Somme.
Brief description: Chu'Kolleran makes sure that everything in Somme is moving smoothly and has been doing to for at least seven-hundred years now. Most everyone is pleased with him, so he continues. He is a very friendly tree and is always open for a chat with those who wish to talk.
Appearance: Tall and thin cherry tree in the shape and form of an humanoid.

Name: Lilac Convinski
Race: Drow
Age: 50 (looks 35 or so)

Part they play in Somme: Head of the police force.
Brief description: Lilac is a stern and stone-hard officer. She lets no one get away with any crime she had seen or heard. But when she's not all fired up on a case, Lilac is actually a very friendly person.

Brief description: Olympus once was a rich boy that lived in the lush canopy of Somme. But as all teens do, Olympus got into crime and decided that he liked it. Ever since he had been very much involved with the crime in Somme. He doesn't kill many people, so he is not the top priority, but he's still up there. He's a bad-boy and a lady's man. Whenever he shows himself, women flock up to him. Lilac has continuously tried to catch Olympus, but his power and money keep him safe.

Brief description: Katharine started singing as a young girl and her talent has simply grown to huge proportions. She is fun-loving and bubbly and sings pop-rock. She constantly changes her hair color to all colors except natural ones.

Magic: Black magic, Shadow energy, flight, invisibility, strong healing, transformation into a black cat.
Bio: Enin was not born in Somme, in fact she was born in the Obsidian city about six months travel from Somme. Enin study the profession of the necromancer ever since she was able to comprehend what that meant. She is quite against the thought of brining the dead up from their graves or shades form the shadow realm and in fact focused her attention on healing. After years of study and practice, Enin went through the painful ceremony of becoming a Litch. The only thing that changed was the fact that she would stay young forever and that it was very hard to kill her and her eyes changed, but that was it. In essence, Enin was still human. When that was over, Enin traveled for a while before settling in Somme.
When Enin was 23, three years after she came to Somme, she meat Olympus. Enin knew that he was on the most wanted list but he was dazzling and Enin was only human. They dated for a long while, but Enin began to work as a healing in the city and Olympus said to continue the relationship would be too dangerous for his position and Enin understood. They keep in touch and meet every once in a while.
Fears and Faults: Enin has a terrible fear of heights, even if she can't see how high up she is, as long as she knows, she is on edge and nervous. Enin is very scared of dogs and take care to avoid them. Since Enin is a Litch, she is always cold and her eyes scare some people off and it is hard to calm her patients.

Other: Enin lives in an undergournd house on the edge of Somme city. She owns five cats. She is a very happy-go-lucky and care-free most of the time. She loves coffee, is you want to apologize for something you did to Enin, do so over some mochas.

Bio: Lilith was born and raised in Somme City. Her parents were local merchants selling to residents and visitors on the fifteenth level of the city. She roamed free since she had famil on several of the levels. She moves fast, and asks on her owm whim. Hence the name Impulse. She began her spree of small crimes, because she believed it was the only way she could survive. Soon the became bigger as she got older, and her first kill was at the age of 14. She met up with L'sander, and has been doing thingd for him ever since. Running messages, acting on an impulse to get what he or she wanted. Lilac has been after her since she was 11, caught her twice but her parents bailed her out.
Fears and Faults: She fears of her own death or d from her comfy spot as theif. She tends to be a bit clumsy and can slip up when she plans something out.

Bio: Cristyne was born and raised in Somme and has left only once. She didnt get very far. Only a few miles before she turned back. Her father was a street preformer and taught her the art. He brought the food to the table by the money he gained from coins tossed into the hat he lay upturned on the streets. Cristyne's mother worked in a shop selling jewelry, until she died from an illness that had swept the more lower class portion of Somme a few years back. Cristynes father retired and left Somme. He said he'd write, but she hasnt gotten any letters. This was 3 years ago.
Cristyne's family was a family of Dragons. As a dragon she has two forms. The one she preforms in, as a human, and the one she takes when she is alone. That of a dragon.
Fears and Faults: Cristyne can be a little clumsy, so once in a while she may trip or screw up her preformance once in a while. She is horribly afraid of anything with more than 4 legs.

Race: Water fairy
Age: 354 but appears to be in her early twenties

Weapon(s): Her magic
Magic: Water (and be extension, ice) manipulation as well as healing.
Bio: Lira comes from a long line of water fairies that have lived in Somme for ages. She believes that there is no world outside of Somme because no one she has known has ever left. She is a bit narrow minded, but then again most of her family is like that. Because her ancestors have inhabited the city for so long, her family is one of the oldest and most noble families among the fairies.
Fears and Faults: Lira has had a fairly sheltered upbringing and so truly fears nothing. She actually believes herself to be invincible and very brave. She is arrogant and likes getting her way. Lira is also very spoiled and very "girly."
Appearance: Lira has silvery blue skin. Her hair is white and smartly bobbed. Her eyes are a piercing green blue. She typically wears a white knee length dress with a blue sash. Her dress skirt is loose and airy. She also wears silver slippers on her feet. Two blue wings sprout from her back.
Other: Being a water fairy, she lives very close to a large lake. She can hold her breath underwater for hours at a time. Her magic allows her to pull water from the air if need be, but is much stronger near lakes, streams, puddles, etc. Obviously, the farther away from water she is, the weaker her powers are.

Name: Alia O'Reilly
Race: Wolf (can switch beetween human and wolf form, sort of like a shape-shifter)
Age: 13
Gender: female
Weapons: her teeth
Magic: is semi-hypnotic, semi since it doesn't always work, and because even when it does, its not that powerful.
Bio: When Alia was little, both her parents drowned whne their boat hit a rock and started sinking. Since no one ever found out, Alia never got sent to social services, for which she is grateful. WHen she first found out that she was a wolf, ALia had been walking in the forest when she heard some local adults talking about how they ought to find out where her parents were, since she was always alone. It didn't make her mad, but she got very upset, and, before she knew what was happening, she turned into a wolf. Now, at thirteen, she lives in Somme city, roaming the streets in the day, and sleeping as a wolf since it is more comfortable.
Fears and Faults: Sometimes her hypnotism backfires, very rarely, but it does still happen sometimes. When Alia gets really mad or upset, she switches to wolf form, she can't help it.
Apperance: Wolf, just imagine it with purple eyes

Bio: Lorry likes to trick people. Her friends call her “Pix” because of how many tricks she was doing. Lorry Ann always carries a dagger. She isn’t as young as she seems in looks. She has done some time in crime but stopped because it bored her. Pix with crime is not as hard to see but her sneaking into the police station’s files to steel Olympus L’sander’s original file and replacing it with a fake is not easy but she did it; without permition.
Fears and Faults: Pix is scared that people would find out want crime she had done be hind Olympus L'sander’s back.
