The Powers of the World Are Shifting

Welcome, friends, to the Rise of the Underworld. A whole new world of vampires and angels awaits you in this fiery tale of good and evil, but be warned. Not all is as it seems. The Elders and Guardians share only some of what they know, versed in ways both well mannered and misleading. Take their words and weigh them well, for the side you choose will bind you forevermore.

Some Out of Character Notes from the GM:
1. Applications Are Always Open!!

-If you join after the first five, just take a look at what is going on and join right in.

2. This thread contains all the background information for the Game Setting. Yes - there is a LOT to read and it can come off as daunting. That is not the intention. The intention of the background information is to ensure certain issues do not arise:

-Character histories are canon to the storyline I have created and do not contain lore created by the player that I need to somehow incorporate for them.

-Players understand the dynamics of the World as it is in the game. It is set on Earth, in the current time. (2009)

Not all of this information will be needed in-game. It is to help the player create a character history and understand the game better.

Your character doesn't need to know what Race controls what country in Europe - unless in your character history you explain how your character's family was uprooted due to the battles that eventually removed your race from that country. [[Example of how to use this information for making a character profile]]

The main thing you and your character have to pay attention to is the politics of your city and your people. You know your bosses, and you know your neutral areas, safe and danger zones, etc. Even this sort of thing is something that can be kept to the back of the characters mind

The Commandments:

These rules must be obeyed at all times, by both sides. Any who break the laws of the commandments will find themselves warned but once. Break them twice, and be banned from these realms forevermore.

1. Obey the site laws -this roleplay is PG-16 at maximum due to fighting. Romance, of any nature (heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual) is permitted - Note that all site rules concerning gore and sexual explicitness apply.

2. Understand that this is a semi-literate to literate roleplay. I expect at least one paragraph per post (4 - 6 sentences) If you find you are having a hard time coming up with something, take your time, or simply explain that you are having writers block. Be wary with this, however, as I will not be very amused if every second post is two sentences with a writers block excuse attached. Also, no use of ChatSpeak will be permitted.

3. The use of * * and - - for actions is prohibited. Use regular font for actions, background, etc. Use " " for speaking and use italics for thinking. Your post should flow like a story, and should be written with the use of third person and past tense.

4. No Godmodding will be permitted in any shape or form. This includes Super Characters, Controlling another persons character, and Clairvoyance (Reading a characters thoughts and having your character respond to them, or having your character know things you as a player know but the character should not)

5. This is a war thread. As such, there will be fighting. However, be sure to keep the following things in mind before engaging in battle or starting a fight.

- You can start a fight at any time. However, behind the scenes either through PM, Rise of the Underworld OOC or Instant Messenger, discuss the fight with your partner. You CAN write out that your character broke the arm of theirs - if, in OOC, you place a note stating you have their permission to do so. If you do NOT have permission, you can try to break the arm, but its up to the player then whether or not it happens -ideal for when said player is offline at the time of your post.

-During 'battle scenes' engaging in fights with nameless 'mass characters' is permitted. 'Mass characters' are fillers, there to be plucked out of thin air at any time. Be reasonable with your mass characters however - I highly doubt anyone is going to have the stamina to take out a legion entirely by themselves.

-When fighting a Planned Boss you must treat him/her as Another Player Character. You cannot God-Mod hits on a Planned Boss. (Planned Bosses are explained in Accepted Vampires / Accepted Angels)

The Laws

These rules apply to Vampires Only. Disobeying the laws have their own warning systems.

1. You will never, under any circumstances, deliberately turn a human being into a Vampire without express permission from your Elders and the human in question. Disobey this law but once, and be destroyed without mercy or trial.

(Your character will die, but most likely YOU wont be in trouble and will be allowed to return with another character, depending on the situation.)

2. You will never fraternize with the enemy. Do not befriend them unless ordered to do so for the sake of spying. Vampire - Angel unions are strictly prohibited. If you are caught in a friendly or loving relationship with the enemy you will be destroyed by your Elders.

(With this rule, your character dies but you aren't in trouble. Basically, its saying that Vampires and Angels are not meant to be friends or lovers...but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. So just make sure your Elders and Vampire comrades don't find out about your feathered buddy!)

3. You will never reveal your true nature to a human being. Do so once, the human(s) in question will be destroyed. Do so twice, the human(s) will be destroyed and you will be starved for two weeks and beaten. A third time, you will be destroyed with the human(s).

4. You will never betray your Elders or your fellows. Do so, and be hunted for life eternal, to be destroyed on sight.

(In other words, if you turn to the Angel side of the fight, your old friends will become your enemies. Your character will survive only as long as the Angels can protect you...)

5. You will always answer to your Elders.

The Orders

These rules apply for Angels Only. Disobeying the laws have their own warning systems.[/color]

1. Do not reveal your nature to humans. Keep your wings hidden at all times when in human company. Revealing yourself to a human will result in the human's mind being modified and a years worth of service to the Guardians. Repeat offenses will result in an additional 20 years each time.

2. Be wary of Vampires at all times. Avoid contact with them if you can. Do not, under any circumstances, befriend or cherish one. To do so will bring certain death upon you both, but by whose hands is uncertain.

3. Hold faithful your Guardians and fellows. Never betray them, for no Vampire will protect you from their wrath and anguish at your turning.

4. Never heal your enemy. Be merciful and slay them - to allow them to fight us again is deemed an act of betrayal.

5. Hold the Guardians and their word above all else.

Since the Beginning of Time.........

Angels and Vampires have walked among us. In the beginning, they were very open about who and what they were, walking freely with fangs and wings, called Demons and Gods by many ancient civilizations. They were the Swords and Shields of the world, created to work together as brothers in arms to defend the human race. They could become like us, hiding away their differences and appearing human. The tales of Incubus, Succubus, and those womanizing Gods like Zeus finding themselves born by the actions.

As time wore on, the Vampires began to feel very slighted by the visions humans painted of them and the Angels. Both races were created to protect humans - so why was one painted as good and the other as evil? Slowly, the Vampires hid themselves more and more, attacking unsuspecting Angels now and again, until it got to a point of such vicious regularity that soon Angels fell to hiding as well.

The battles started then, slowly at first, kept away from the view of humanity, hidden in shadows and alleys. The anger of the Vampires was ignored by the mounting rage and indignation in the Angels who were constantly defending against attack, until finally an Angel by the name of Tamiel led a full brute attack on a Vampire castle. Tamiel and his men ended the lives of over a hundred Vampires that night - noble born and common bred - and the battle became the War that has never ended. In this day and age, nobody remembers the Beginning. There are very few surviving texts from that time - and they are guarded heavily by the Elders and the Guardians. As far as the Vampires and Angels of today are aware, the races fight because of what their leaders tell them, unquestioning in those words. For why should an Angel believe a Vampire to be good, when Vampires constantly attack the warriors? Why should a Vampire believe an Angel to be kind, when they constantly steal the lives of the young and the breedable?

The World Today

Earth today is split into four factions:

Homelands:

The Homelands consist of Africa and Asia. They are completely and utterly run by Angels (Africa) and Vampires (Asia) The lack of unity of Vampire and Angel results in the trouble these continents have - Angels and Vampires are left to guard these continents on their own without the help of their brother warriors. The upside is that there are no Angel-Vampire wars in these continents as none of either race will ever set foot in the other races Homelands.

Heartlands:

Heartlands are continents in which Vampires and Angels coincide peacefully by staying within their own borders. These continents are Europe, Australia, and Antarctica. As with the Homelands, the lack of unity causes for a great deal of trouble.

Northern Territory: Angel Territory
Southern Austrailia: Angel Territory
New South Wales: Vampire Territory
Victoria: Vampire Territory
Tasmania: Vampire Territory
Queensland is split in two. The Northern half is Angel territory and the Southern half is Vampire territory.

Europe:

Europe consists of many countries, of which the Angels and Vampires take equal share. This list goes alphabetically to avoid confusion. Any country whose name falls between the two listed belongs to the race listed as controlling that territory.

Moldova - Romania: Vampire Territory
Russia: Vampire Territory
Serbia - Ukrain: Angel Territory
United Kingdom: Vampire Territory

Taming Lands:

The Taming Lands are very similar to the Heartlands in the fact that its countries are split into very specified territories. The difference with the Heartlands, however, is that everyone sticks to their specific areas and treaties and there is very minimal -if any - fighting. In the Taming Lands, the borders aren't as respected and fights are very frequent.

The Maritime Provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island) Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec are undisputed Angel Territory.

The Northern Territories (Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon) British Columbia and Alberta are undisputed Vampire territory.

The Unmarked Lands:

The Unmarked Lands are the lands in which no boundaries or borders have been officially settled.

Antarctica:

Antarctica is the only place one will never find Angels and Vampires fighting, but the reasons why are unknown. Because it has both races it is not counted as a Homeland.

United States of America:

The United States has very few Angels or Vampires at all. It is a Wraith and Wolf homeland and is considered impossible to tame at the current point in time. Mercenaries from the Home and Heart lands frequently visit the States in order to prove themselves against the demons that reside there and there are times when those mercenaries choose to stay for the fact there is never a lack of action. Theirs is a life of constant, never ending battle, and it is rare that it is against each other. In odd fact, the USA is the only place in the world where Vampires and Angels will work together. These are perhaps the most liberated ones, but they are all to often deemed heretics upon their returns home.

The Elders' Tale:

We Vampires have been a part of this Earth since times long out of memory. Our purpose, the very reason for our creation, was to stand as protectors and guardians of the human race. Our weaker, less advanced selves - the young children of our world who believe they know all of Gods and bravery. Time has not made them wiser - they have more weapons and hatred then ever before. Their weapons make them stronger - the fangs and claws we used to use to defend them gave way to the sword hundreds of years ago. Recently, the gun has become a fixation for many of our younger generation. Yet in the end, aside from those stories and 'movies' which they deem nothing more then 'fantasy', humans still know nothing of their own world. They do not know how to defend against those within their own midst - the Werewolves that whisper war into their ears, thirsty for blood as they have been since time out of mind - the Dragons who wreck havoc on their countries by ways of the Elements, their 'natural disasters' - and of course the Wraiths, forever teaching the ways to bring more illness and disease to their people. From the Beginning, come now, until the End, we are their protectors. Yet the War has made us weak - The Angels know how difficult it is for us to bear young. They are quick to kill any who can bear children to us, just as quick to take the children themselves. They know we feed off natural predators - how many, now, are endangered thanks to the whispers of Angels for man to hunt those which feed us, for their fur? For the thrill of the hunt? How many lie extinct, or close to it, from these whispers of those who seek so blindly to destroy us that they take the nature of the world with them? The Angels are blinded by their own perfection - so beautiful are they, so highly viewed, that they have no need to fear discovery. They would be studied - Wraiths and Wolves would do their best to destroy them by whisper and growl - but in the end they would be accepted by humans, despite all the damage they have cost us all. We stand now, the youngest of us all aged twenty years and so heavily guarded as to be restless and angry. Our young have no freedom, and they hate us for it. This is what the Angels do to us, aside from the clear battles where one has no choice but to fight honorably. They wage war on our hearts and bring dishonor to our children. Parents, the most coveted of Vampires, find their young turning on them in desperate attempts for freedom - those that escape our watchful eye are killed, but the young see no reason, only our protective cage. We, the Elders, understand that restlessness and do our best to bring peace to the children and their parents, to breed understanding through tales of War and Angels. We encourage parents to allow children to roam and train freely with other Vampires and we encourage children to understand their parents overbearing guard by teaching them these truths. In time, the children reach their fiftieth year, when they are introduced to the human world truly as young entrepreneurs. Humans know them not a day older then twenty - an age they will appear for two hundred years - should they survive. The oldest of the Elders, Lord Gabriel, bears the face of a fifty year old at nine hundred and thirty seven years.

Me, you ask? Well, I am among the younger of the Elders. I appear about thirty five, at four hundred and twelve years. From this point on, you will know me as Marius, the Elder of this jurisdiction. As time passes, you may or may not meet or hear of the other Elders - let us pray that your knowledge of other Elders comes from the tales of visiting Vampires, rather than from a great loss or call to arms. Aside from the instance of other Elders moving into our territory, in which I would either preside or be demoted, in all matters of war and politics you must answer to me. Should you simply seek my counsel, I will gladly answer all of your questions and assist you to the best of my knowledge.

The Guardians' Tale:

Since long before time was measured by any system, our people have been here. Our records date back to times even the oldest of human record cannot reach. True, very few of us can read them, the languages long lost in the sands of time, but nonetheless they do exist. Existence - a time honored question has always been why we exist. Humans have yet to find their answer - but we, the Angels, have always known ours. We are the guides, the teachers of humans. We are here to show them the ways of life, of existence, through unity and love. It is our purpose in life to show humans the ways of kindness and to give them the keys to power through thought and wisdom. We are the ones they call Buddha. We are the voices that will lead them from the darkness of their hate and love of anguish onto a brighter path.

There was a time, many eons past, when we Angels had a partner in this endeavor. Long ago, before the Fall, Vampires stood beside Angels as Protectors. They were the Warriors of this realm, created for the sole purpose of battle and infused with honor and the duty to serve as mankind's shield. They were our brothers, untied against the Wraiths and the Wolves that plague our world. There was a time, children, when the Vampires protected even us. Yet time changed them. They became arrogant in their power and strength, deeming themselves lords over all of us - humans and Angel alike. I myself know not what sparked the War, but this superiority complex remains strong even to this day. Vampires are very arrogant and very deadly. They will not hesitate to destroy you should they learn of what you are. They have succumbed to the hatred that blinds humanity, seduced by their rage and power. They are powerful, but aside from their gifts they are nothing more then humans in mindset. Weak, blind and lost without any guides. Do not pity them - for they will show you no mercy. Every year we lose more then twenty warriors of great age and strength - that is to say nothing of those who fall under the age of a hundred and fifty who are needlessly killed in battle. All the Guardians have the young trained to fight - but I am not alone in those who refuse to allow it. As more and more young fall, more Guardians are laying the ban that any under the age of a hundred and fifty cannot fight in battle. We age exactly as the Vampires do - but we are much luckier then they. Our children are born faster, grow quicker and join the forces sooner. Yet despite this - despite how few young they have - the Vampires are strong. Perhaps too strong. They have not won the war, but after all this time, after cities have risen and fallen, human conquerors have come and gone, the war still wages. None have found a way to end it. The Vampires may have less then our numbers, but this is what they are made for. They were made for murder all along. It is no wonder, then, how far the have Fallen from their Path.

I do not know when this war will end. After so many years, many think it never will. However...I think we of our time are wiser then those of old. It is my belief that your generation will find the answer that has eluded us for so many centuries. You are all of age now, be it to join the war or begin your life as a Guide. Whichever you choose, you must know this. I am your Guardian and therefore, I am the wind beneath your wings. I can keep you high, but I can and will drop you if you go against the laws of honor and the ways of our people. I want you to know that you may come to me with your concerns and that I will help you. Yet you must also know that I am the closest thing to a King you will hopefully ever have to know. Should you come to meet the other Guardians, know this: The times have become dire. The Guardians only meet then - and they bring all their brood with them. Should you meet another Guardian, you will find our havens filling with many other Angels, be they refugees or patrons of war.

You have known my face since the day you were born, but today, the day your wings are broad enough to carry you on your way, is the day I grant you my name. I am Raziel, son of Guardian Autumn. Now go.

City Setting:

Regina, Saskatchewan

Why I chose this city:

I wanted this roleplay to have an urban, Earth based feel and yet still have the effect and power of an ancient fantasy epic. In order to do that, I wanted an actual-factual Earth city and I wanted it to be one I knew extremely well so that I could plan territory battles and all sorts of other things. At first, I planned out for it to be a country in which they fought in, but that was just too big. So I decided on a city - and the city I know best, better then the back of my own hand, is Regina Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan's Status:

The Vampires believe they have the right to Saskatchewan in order to have equal Canadian landmass shared between the two races. The Angels argue this point in circles, mainly stating that the landmass is thus far divided evenly and Saskatchewan is extra. As a result, Vampires and Angels constantly wage battle on Saskatchewan ground - Albertan Vampires cross in and try to take out Manitoban Angels and vice versa. Each of the races does what it can to try and take full control of Saskatchewan, but the province stands strongly as an unclaimed land - unclaimed by any save those Angels and Vampires native to her land that are starting to find the constant attacks from their brothers and sisters of the other provinces to be very....very....annoying.

There are whispers on the wind of a plan to stop the fights once and for all. Whispers that originate from the north, in La Ronge and Prince Albert, where the mysterious Angel Guardians from Norway who arrived nearly two hundred years ago reside. Whispers echoed in Saskatoon, where the Vampire Elders from the Homelands hide. In Regina, the Southern Core as it is often referred to amongst the Vampires and Angels, the two Elders of the city are thinking along the same lines of those whispers. If they choose to listen, Saskatchewans people could well join forces - and claim Saskatchewan for themselves as a co-operative province.

City Status and Layout:

Regina is a stronghold. It contains both Vampires and Angels in equal numbers. Generally, everything north of Victoria Avenue is Angel territory - anything south belongs to the Vampires. Currently, the entire city is at war due to an infestation of Wraiths that arrived from Montana. The humans are for the most part bloodthirsty and devious, though there are quite a few diamonds in the rust - if one digs hard enough.

Angels and Vampires of Regina have agreed a Trust Treaty as a result of this - any Angel or Vampire can walk on opposite territory. If he or she causes trouble, they are subjected to the laws of that territory. So - if an Angel makes trouble on Vampire territory, Vampires then gain complete control of their punishment. Any who abuse this by setting up, framing, or lying about the said 'troublemaker' are punished by both courts.

Fights can and will break out despite the treaty. Sometimes troublemakers get together and ambush areas. Sometimes there are personal differences - these are generally solved by combat in Victoria Park in the Downtown Core at a set time.

The Downtown Core is considered Neutral Grounds. Vampires and Angels can do as they wish in this area - including brawling. The area is very specific - if you go one street farther, you are out of the Safe Zone.

Powers Lists:


Angel Abilities:

Automatic Abilities and Physical Differences: (Receive All Automatically)

Telepathy: The ability to send ones spirit self to another mind to communicate, or to lock away memories and even powers. Strong telepaths can close ones entire mind, drive one into madness, or even build a false world for one to live in.

Level 1: Communication - the ability to speak mind to mind (Cannot search the mind or alter it)

Wings: An Angels wings are a very magical part of their being. For the most part, an Angel keeps his/her wings concealed inside their body - the transformation inside turns the wings into a vein-like substance that channels magic through the Angels body like regular veins channel blood and air.
-->Releasing one's wings: An Angel can release his/her wings in two separate ways. The first one an Angel learns is the 'Shift Form', in which the twin scars by an Angel's shoulder blades (All Angels have these scars, but they too can be concealed) open and the wings thrust through the openings. The second way is an emergency transformation (For 'Shift Form' takes concentration) called 'Slam Shift' in which the Angel forces his/her wings out as fast as possible, bursting through the back without the openings and causing a great deal of pain and bloodshed. Nevertheless, this tends to be the most common shift by young Angels.
-->Flight: All Angels are taught how to fly at young ages.

Vitakinesis: The ability to heal, using ones inner core of magic to tie things back as they once were. Healing comes naturally to Angels; their bodies will close small wounds fairly quickly. Most Angels have the ability to heal others this way as well. Large wounds, and mortal wounds, need specific care but can sometimes be held by magic until that care can arrive.

Pick One:

Eidetic Memory: Eidetic memory, photographic memory, or total recall is the ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with extreme accuracy and in abundant volume.

Empathy: The ability to feel the emotions of others, be they hidden or obvious.
-->Feeling others emotions: If the other character is hiding the emotion they are feeling, your characters empathy does not guarantee your character will know what they feel. When the other character feels immense joy or pain, your character will feel a burst of it. When the other is suppressing the emotion, your character will feel the lightest, softest brush of 'a confusing emotion'. No guarantee they will feel the right one.

Additional Powers: (Maximum of two.)

Divination: The ability to foretell events through various means. (Tarot Cards, Taliomancy, Palmistry)

Mind-Writing: The ability to take images and thoughts from someone's mind and reproduce it exactly on paper. Be it the character's own mind, or the mind of another. However, they can only activate mind writing on another person if that requests it specifically.

Summoning: The ability to summon beings / objects at ones command.
--> Summon Beings: You can choose up to two beings (Dogs, cats, etc) that your Angel is affiliated with that they may summon at will
-->Summon Objects: You can choose two objects (Sword, book) that your Angel is affiliated with that they may summon at will.
-->Restrictions: If you want Being and Object, it is One Being One Object.

Telekinesis: The ability to move objects with ones mind.

Telepathy: Additional Levels.
-->Each added level counts as one power. Level 3 would mean both your points are used up.

Level 2: The ability to look through a persons mind or block your own
Level 3: The ability to block another persons mind, look through anothers, communicate
Level 4: Level three strengthened, plus the ability of Truth Saying [*Guardians / Elders Only]
Level 5: Level 4 increased plus the ability to alter memories [*Guardians / Elders Only]
Level 6: Level 5 increased plus the ability to lock minds or create mental illusions [*Guardians / Elders Only]
Level 7: Complete mental mastery [*Guardians / Elders Only]

Weapons Mastery: You only get one weapon - sword, bow, spear, gun - but whatever it is, your character is an expert in its use and likely sought out as a teacher in its art.

Vampire Abilities
Automatic Abilities and Physical Differences: (Receive All Automatically)

Fangs and Claws: These are both retractable. Most Vampires have teeth and jaws as strong as a hyena's (those beasts can crush skulls...), but some are weaker, some are stronger. All Vampires have claws harder, sharper and stronger then diamond edged steel.

Glamour: The ability to shift ones appearance to something more seductive, or simply something more useful. Glamour is often used to make a person look like someone else. (Think Harry Potter and the Polyjuice Potion, only a spell. Not a potion involving body bits DX)

Vitakinesis: Unlike Angels, who can only heal shallow wounds or many small wounds, Vampires can heal even near fatal wounds in themselves. The drawback is they cannot heal others. Extreme bloodloss, or damages done severely enough that their healing factor cannot act in time (direct hits to the heart, for example) are among the few things that can kill Vampires. Brute force and extreme torture are examples of ways to kill them and ensure they stay dead.

Pick One:

Invisibility: The ability to become invisible.

Phasing: The ability to walk through walls, doors, and other solid objects.

Additional Powers: (Maximum of two.)

Divination: The ability to foretell events through various means. (Tarot Cards, Taliomancy, Palmistry)

Eidetic Memory: Eidetic memory, photographic memory, or total recall is the ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with extreme accuracy and in abundant volume.

Empathy: The ability to feel the emotions of others, be they hidden or obvious.
-->Feeling others emotions: If the other character is hiding the emotion they are feeling, your characters empathy does not guarantee your character will know what they feel. When the other character feels immense joy or pain, your character will feel a burst of it. When the other is suppressing the emotion, your character will feel the lightest, softest brush of 'a confusing emotion'. No guarantee they will feel the right one.

Summoning: The ability to summon beings / objects at ones command.

Elders

-Elders are reserved as NPC's and Planned Bosses. When they are in action they will be played by the Mods. The point of Planned Bosses is to engage the characters in battles and tests against essential 'Super Characters' The Planned Bosses can and will be defeated - each Boss is created to test the characters and further develop the storyline. Not all battles are fought with swords - be wary of the Planned Bosses, for they are tricky, wily characters sent by the Powers That Be to force your characters into admitting truths about themselves, into growing up and maturing, and even into learning how to play fair and co-cooperatively. Currently, the only Elder Information available is on Our Elder, Marius. Once the time comes for a Planned Boss, that Elder's Character Sheet will be posted. Personality: Suave and even-tempered, Xercian is the sort of guy you either love or hate - there's never a middle ground. He has the habit of becoming arrogant and cruel when faced with ignorance or what he deems as stupidity. He's quick to defend his friends and allies - and is also known to be almost overbearingly protective of those he truly cares about at times.
Appearance: Xercian
History: Xercian was born in Germany during the very end of its Taming Times. Vampires had almost cleared out entirely from the country by that point and his mother had been absolutely terrified to give birth to him in what was very nearly undisputed Angel Territory. Her husband, Xercian V, stood watch over her during her labor and was the sole reason she survived. Angels attacked shortly after Xercian VI had left her body - named as was custom for the last seven generations of first born Obesta males - and Xercian V held them off while Vanessa gathered her son and her strength to flee the scene. They were discovered by other fleeing Vampires and taken into their custody while they traveled to new lands.

For the first fifty years of his life, Xercian VI lived with his mother and adopted Vampire family in Romania, where he was taught the ways of life as a Vampire. He was taught how to fight by one of the men who had saved them - Sayton Vanderhoff - a man who later became his mother's new husband and caused Xercian to lose all of his respect for both of them. He had never met his biological father - but remained convinced that Xercian V had survived.

Eventually, Xercian became too annoyed to remain in Romania and left to travel the world - or at least, the Vampire Territories of the world. It wasn't until he risked a trip to America that Xercian truly realized he'd lived a sheltered existence in Romania. During his time there, he encountered a Canadian Vampire by the name of Howard Secord who spun tales of his home country so inviting that the wandering Xercian finally felt he might have discovered a permanent home. For twenty years, Xercian lived with Howard and his family in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. His time with them was enjoyable, up until a battle broke out on the border. Xercian fought against the invading Angels alongside Howard until the other Vampire was killed. Upon watching him fall, Xercian came the conclusion that it was time to move to the core of his home - as he now considered Saskatchewan to be his home. He took Howard's only surviving child with him to the heart of Saskatchewan where the true powers played. Pledging his allegiance in exchange for assistance in vengeance, Xercian traded his freedom in exchange for his friends justice, becoming a permanent warrior of Regina's vampire 'court'.

His mother died in child birth so his father had to raise him alone. It took some time before his father could raise the money to get two tickets to the UK. Several years in fact, considering he had to deliberately remain in hiding and take the worst paying jobs to stay out of angel notice. Ten times in the four years of hiding did they have to move after getting attacked by an angel. This made him obtain a hatred of their enemies. Eventually they left France for the UK, Damien and his Father reaching it safely, all be it with several scars from the last years. His father, and a few vampires who had grouped with them for safety and ease measures, helped to train the young Damien into a strong and brave vampire. Life had been fairly easy for him during those years. He didn't remember his mother, didn't meet any more angels, but a deep rooted hatred still burnt in him for the winged creatures. This only increased when they moved to Saskatchewan. A few days after moving there he watched an angel killing a vampire. In a rage of fury Damien slew the angel. He spent the next two years ensuring angels were punished when they did something wrong in the Vampire area of Saskatchewan. In one of the few times he aimed to kill, an old friend had been with him. Before he was able to reach the angels, one threw a devastating blow, killing his friend before she had the chance to heal. Seeing her body go limp sent Damien into a rage once more. His pride had been hit, not being able to protect his dear friend and the longing to prove he was better then these feathered idiots grew to strong. After slaying the angels, he’d decided he had to speak to his superiors. Now Damien is a Warrior and isn’t afraid to show people why exactly he is one.

She never met her parents, she doesn't even know who they are. Most people/angels say they died, but most people/angels don't even bother talking to her. At the age of 2 somebody finally gave her a nickname, Rosy, because that person thought that she was beautiful as a rose(thats why she calls herself Rosy). That same person took her and gave her food and a place to stay, Hazel was too young to know what happened but she understood, she was grateful that she wasn't alone anymore, living in the dust, in an old left house(that's been there for ages). She never knew who that person actually was, but she refereed to him as 'her friend'. She came up with a name for herself at the age of 10, 'Hazel' her first name and 'Sirene' her last name, wanting to have an identity, a full name. That person took care of her until she was 12, because he got killed by a vampire (that's when Hazel really started to hate the vampires, for taking away her friend, her savior), at that time Hazel's heart was broken, she used to say 'Ever since you left this world, I could never smile again'. She didn't bother to make any friends, fearing that she might lose them also. The only thing that was on her mind was getting stronger, so that people could notice her and see who she really was.
Its been a long time since then, the worst thing that could happen was to forget her past. But that's what actually happened. The only thing she could still do was getting stronger, but she knew there was a purpose for becoming stronger. Or did she? Did she forget that too? You could say she was a robot, without any soul, without any memory. If only somebody could open her eyes, and maybe, just maybe, she will remember...

Okay - I like your profile for the most part, but there's a couple things I need to point out / ask about.

The first being about the names Beth and Lethi - how did Damien get these names exactly? They seem quite feminine - and sounds like something that should be in his history since they don't seem to match his name at all.

Damien's history holds quite a few parallels with Xercian's - this is fine of course (Could make for some conversation between them ^^) but I'm wondering if that was deliberate or just sort of happened?

Other then that the profile is acceptable - I just need clarification on these two subjects.

That person took care of her until she was 12, because he got killed by a vampire (thats when Hazel really started to hate the vampires, for taking away her friend, her savior), at that time Hazel's heart was broken, she used to say 'Ever since you left this world, I could never smile again'. She didn't bother to make any friends, fearing that she might lose them also. The only thing that was on her mind was getting stronger, so that people could notice her and see who she really was.
Its been a long time since then, the worst thing that could happen was to forget her past. But thats what actually happened. The only thing she could still do was getting stronger, but she knew there was a purpose for becoming stronger. Or did she? Did she forget that too? You could say she was a robot, without any soul, without any memory. If only somebody could open her eyes, and maybe, just maybe, she will remember...

While for the most part your profile is acceptable - The feasting on souls is a no-go. There's only one type of 'creature' in this alternate universe I have created that has that ability - Wraiths. Wraiths will be brought more to light once the game begins - the Elders will explain them fully, as the first Boss will be a Wraith. I'm sorry, but Im afraid that part will have to be modified.

Ok! I will do that :) Sorry for missing that out :P I am gonna edit it...
I totally changed her personality and the way she looks, because I didn't like it at all... Anyways! Finished! :)
